Change sort on DLINR in DP90

Hi,
I would like to know if someone has already done a different sort than based on DLINR in transaction DP90.
In my process, I can get several times the same article number with different characteristics (ie the period).
I would like to have all identical article number grouped together.

This is my bedside book.... But I didn't find any help in it (I mean in that particular case).

How to change sort order in Notes?

I just installed the new Mac OS X Mountain Lion and found the self-contained Desktop-App for Notes.
But how do I sort my notes alphabetically???
Using Mac OS X Lion I could change sort order within the mail-application. Btw I would love to sort my notes on my iPad and iPhone as well! It is possible via browser on the iCloud-Website - but the sort order is not transfered to iOS or the new Desktop-App!!

Change Sort Field in GL Master - Implications

I would like to know if I want to change the Sort Key in my Reconciliation GL account will there be any imact of this.
If you can let me know what will be the impact will be help full.
Below is the example what I have change.
In my Customer Recon Account there was Sort key for Doc Number and Fiscal Year now I have change to Assignment Field.

Hi Kiran,
1. The purpose of defining Sort Key is only to use automatic clearing and in most of the cases automatic clearing is not used for customers so no reason to worry.
2. You have changed sort key from Doc Number and Fiscal Year to Assignment which I do not see of no use at all because Assignment should never be a Sort Key because the Sort Key is defined to populate value of field into Assignment field itself.
So, now onwards your sort key will become void since you will have to enter value in assignment field manually.
Precisely, if you are not using automatic clearing for the customer, there are no implications.
Study your business processes.

Change sorting in Finder from ascending to descending and keyboard shortcut

Hallo,
can someone point me in the right direction of how to change sorting in Finder from ascending to descending and what are the corresponding keyboard shortcuts?
I am already using the ctrl-cmd+number key shortcuts to modify my sorting, and a Google search produced the answer that I can change from ascending to descending by hitting the key-combination again. But it does not work ...
Any help ;-) ?

Never heard of a keyboard command to toggle the sort sequence from ascending to descending and back.
The usual way to change it is to click the highlighted column name in the Finder window.

Change sort order on WF_NOTIFICATION(HISTORY) procedure - 11.5.10 Apps

Is it possible to change the sort order of the lines in the Action History section that shows up on e-mail notifications?
We are using Blanket Sales Agreements in Apps 11.5.10 CU1, including the delivered workflow approval notifications. My users are happy with the notifications except that they want the approval history table sorted in reverse so that the most recent action is at the top of the list.
I have looked at the WF_NOTIFICATION procedure, but it's not just jumping out at me where to make this change, if possible. I'm also assuming that if I change this procedure that it will change for all notifications (PO, AP, etc.). Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Hi,
It is possible to change sort order on WF_NOTIFICATION(HISTORY).
You can add an atribute to your WF Notifications (Messages) and add an "if" into WF_NOTIFICATION procedure to apply your sort routine just to that kind of notifications.

Where is scroll bar for notes? can you change sorting for notes to A-Z?

is there a scroll bare for NOTES in icloud? Can you change sorting to A-Z?

Are you asking about viewing your Notes on https://www.icloud.com/#notes on a Mac?
In Safari the scrollbar will appear, when you start to scroll the note list with a trackpad or a mouse.
In the Notes.app the scroll bar will always be visible, if you enable the scroll bars in System Preferences > General > Show Scroll Bars > Always
In the Notes-app the list can be sorted by title from the "View > Sort by" menu, but on icloud.com I do not know of a similar option.

Apple mail changing sort function. Please HELP.

After a recommended update early last week,email keeps changing sort function. I set for date and keeps changing it to subject.
PLease help repair this.

Hi Carlo,
My Mail seems to work now.
I should have done a screen capture to show you something.
When I was about to send the message in Mail, a notice came up:
It had 2 mail accounts:
1. Mail
2. my new e-mail address
I think I pressed Mail (if I remember).
However, when I just sent another test message, there was no window warning coming up.
Also, the "new Mail account" has nothing in it like the one that I deleted.
The one that I deleted had lots of material (messsage, sent message, saved messages etc...) but nothing critical.
I can live with that.
The critical point will be when I go to a site and when I want to send a messafge, my Apple Mail account window opens.
So far, your solution has worked even if the second part of your instructions could not be followed.

when I find a set of events in iCal, the list appears in the window at the bottom of the page in the correct sort order when sorted by date, title or type. When I then copy that list to the clipboard and paste it into another program (Pages, MacJournal, TextEdit) the sort order changes.
I work mostly in English, but my macbookpro keyboard is German, so I assume the problem is with the language settings. I've tried changing the system preferences for language and sort order, and that changes the sort order, but it doesn't get it right.
Anyone have any ideas?

How can i change sort options for a playlist in ios8? I would like to sort by album, or album artist like I can in iTunes for OSX.

So here's an example of why I would like to figure this out. I have a playlist on my iPhone that contains only new music. I would like to be able to sort this playlist by artist, so that when i click on the playlist, I can quickly find the album I have added to the playlist and play it. Currently, I can only see a long list of tracks. How do you sort playlists?

I just found the solution to this myself.
In a very un-Apple way, this is an undocumented feature only accessible by right- (or control-) clicking.
1. Change one track to your desired sort settings (for instance, set the Sort Artist to Yankovic, Weird Al.
2. Right-click on that track. In the contextual menu that appears, there is a new submenu called "Apply Sort Field." If you choose "Same Artist," it will apply your new sorting information to all your other tracks by "Weird Al" Yankovic (or, if you are not a huge nerd, any other artist you substitute).

How to change sorting in column view in Maverick

I understand how to change the view and then "arrange by". In my columns, they list from oldest to newest. I don't see how to reverse that. I want newest on top. Also, how do I set the column width to what I want and save for all? I can adjust the column width, but it defautlts back to the narrow setting shortly after.

I need to ensure this thing:
When user click on any head of column in output table (table view) it must not call any event. All data must stay on same rows.
Example. A have table:
Col1        Col2
B           20
A           30
T           10
D           60
If I click on first head of column data will be sorted:
Col1        Col2
A           30
B           20
D           60
T           10
But if hierachy or structure are in first column rows cannot be changed.

ITunes won't let me change sorting information

Hello,
So, I like to keep all of the sorting information on the songs empty in my iTunes library. However, some of them won't change or go away no matter what I try. I've tried simply erasing the tag, converting to a new file, and converting the ID3 tags to "none". The sorting name always keeps comes back.
Is there a method that I'm just too dumb to have found out yet or is this some bug that I'll just have to try and look over?

In column view, most of the edited tracks will stay gray, and arbitrarily revert to black. In the info panel the sort fields will nearly immediately fill again - and onlyfields with corresponding name, artist fields will be filled. I did not specify an album artist, so the sort album artist stays empty.

Can't change sort settings for multiple items in iTunes 7.1

iTunes 7.1 introduces a great feature—the ability to set a separate Sort Name, Sort Artist, Sort Album, etc. This means that "Weird Al" Yankovic songs can finally appear down among the Y's instead of up at the top of every list, by changing the Sort Artist to Yankovic, Weird Al.
Unfortunately, this feature is fatally crippled in 7.1. As far as I can tell, you can only change the Sorting information on individual tracks. When you change the information for multiple tracks, the Sorting tab doesn't show up. This renders the feature all but useless.
Let's say (hypothetically) that your friend is an enormous nerd (in theory) and your friend has 139 "Weird Al" Yankovic tracks (for the purposes of this example only, of course). Instead of just selecting all these tracks at once and changing the Sort Artist to Yankovic, "Weird Al", I (I mean, he) has to retype this information for each individual track. That's crazy! Surely this must be a bug.

File Name Changes, Sorting Problem

MacBook Pro Snow Leopard
I am attempting to add a series of lectures to iTunes. These number about 100 and are sequential over 3 volumes. I obtained them in simple forlders labeled vol1, vol2 and vol3 and each track is named with a prefix such as "V1 Ch03 Relation of Physics to other Sciences.mp3". Oddly about half actually retain the full name and sort out properly but the rest do not. For instance the example in question becomes " Relation of Physics to other Sciences.mp3" and not sorting tricks can get them in order.
Before I starting fooling with the names is there somethign else I can do? I have turned off "automatically check for track names" option on iTunes but the same result. Are the spaces causing problems? I don't want to change the names as I would like to share these and others won't figure out the sequence.
There doesn't seem to be an option for date created sorting which may solve the issue. Also iTunes seems to be reading some meta data as the "album name" changes. It seems the lectures were originally released in a different series and recently compiled in the order created, the latter being preferrable.
Any help appreciated!

Took me a long time to get past the inconsistencies that Accessibility Inspector was revealing in iTunes. I finally ran a verify in Accessibility Verifier and discovered some inaccurate reporting in the Inspector. This works. Figured I would share it.
If things are changed to "Album", it will not do more than re-sort that column. It will not change the Album by... setting. I hope I can figure that out.
