Change the collaboration link position

Hi all,
Whenever i activate colaboration,the link for collaboration appears jst at the side of the search textfield in the portals.I want collaboration link to be placed somewhere else on the portal page,may be on the content area where i view the IViews.Is it possible to show the link in the Iview rather than it appearing with the search Field.Please guide me.ASAP.Awaiting ..

Not a standard way of doing this, but there is a workaround for it to solve your problem:
One way: you can have this link in Portal Favorites by doing the below:
Portal Favorites Menu > Organize Entries > Add an External Link >
Target: http://<hostname>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.netweaver.coll.shared.ui.CollaborationLaunchPad
Name: CLP (your choice)
Other way: create an URL iview with the same URL given in Target, and you can use see it in Content Area of your portal.
And you can disable the Collaboration from Search (Tool) iView.

Yes, you can change the position. Do it in Master Layouts. Select the page number - a red box appears around it - select: left, center, or right justification. That will move it within the box. To move the box on the page, just drag the box to where you want it. - Fabe

Do u have any idea how to change the hyperlink color in the xml form. My requirement is as follows.I have created xml form by using xml template and i displayed this xml form by using Km document iview. I need tochange the hyper link color in the xml form content. I dont want to go for manual process by editing the xml form. because i have several hundreds of xml forms.

Hi Ramana,
The most convenient way to change the hyper links is by using the Theme Editor. Go to System Administration --> Portal Display --> Select Theme --> Component-Specific Styles --> Links --> Function/Result Link.

Fcpx 10.2 export changed the shape and position of my shape masks. Ideas?

Fcpx 10.2. Upon export it changed the shape and position of my shape masks. It also created "cordoroy" looking screens where some photos had been. Looking for help.

Thanks for the response. My project is 1280x720 29.97 fps. Here's a shot of the corduroy. The first time I exported using the "export" choice. I rebooted and exported again choosing "master" file. The settings were the same on both- 1280x720, 29.97, H.264. The corduroy went away the second time. The masks are still off. I'm using them throughout my project. They are closer to center on both of the quicktime movie outputs than on my screen in the project. I could send pics.

Can I alter the properties of an individual link on a HTML page without changing the other links?

I have a contact page created in Dreamweaver and have created an email link to launch Outlook when clicked on. However, all the links in my design have been set a certain way, i.e. white text knocked out of darker background. My email link however, is on white background so you can't see it against the white. I want to go in and simply change the color property of the email link without changing the other link colours on the page. I've tried but without luck. Is this possible to do?

Extended Notifications: how to change the URL link

Hello,
We are on ECC6. We use Extended Notifications to alert users to the presence of new workitems, but when they click on the link to execute the workitem, they're presented with the login screen.
We have been able to send emails from workflow which contain a link that does not ask for a login so I know which URL to use. The problem is, how can you set the URL in Extended Notifications? How does it decide which URL to use? I've tried changing a few General Settings in SWNCONFIG, none of them made a difference.
Any hints, tips, suggestions would be appreciated.

I wrote my own notification handler to solved an link issue (wanted to point to a specific iView url). I changed the notification handler via Category and double clicking on the category:

How can I change the BlackBerry Link Network Drive mapping from Z: to something else?

I generally have a mapping to my NFS server on Z:, and my iTunes library has a relative path to Z: for all of my music - the fact that Link is automatically picking Z: as my network sync target for my device does not work for me to sync music, or anything really. I can't figure out how to change this value to something else.
I found the registry key: \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Research In Motion\Device Manager\Device Settings\<DEVICENAME>\VolumeMapping with a default blank REG_SZ - can I use this key at all to manually change drive mappings for my device? If so, what is the key/value pair I need and will this mess up any assumptions taken inside the Link software for synching?
... Also, I have a Feature Enhancement Request to go along with this issue: Add a "Change drive map letter" button beside the "Turn on wireless connections to my computer" button in Link, and add the same option in the context menu to the 'Device Manager' for the mapping (which currently just says 'Explore').

I do not know a lot about this subject but since Device Manager is not a Device and the BlackBerry Phone is not recognized as a Device in Disk management unless Mass Storage is turned ON it looks as if by design you cannot change the Drive Letter.
Also if Mass Storage is turned On in the Phone Settings File Manager and BB link will not work but the BB Phone will then be recognized as a Device in Disk Management and the Drive Letter can be changed, this has no effect on the Drive Letters for Device Manager.
Normally to change the Drive Letter and Paths of a Device once the Device is plugged you would go to Administrative Tools, Computer Management, Disk Management, right click the Device and choose "Change Drive Letter and Paths"
Changing the Registry or Uninstalling Device Manager but keeping BB Link or looking for a Utility that can change the Drive Letter such as the one that many XP users had called TweakUI (only worked in XP) or changing the Drive Letter for your Network may be the only way.

how can i change the position of column in the database
for example:
when i do query = "select column_name from all_tab_columns where table_name = upper('table_test')"
this will be the column output - "columnA, columnB, columnC, columnD"
but what i need is output like this : "columnD, columnA, columnB, columnC
i think we have to change the position of the column in the database..so, how can i do that?

Not saving the the line/link position in process designer

I've got a process which works fine, but when I open it in process designer, the line/links are not arranged correctly. It's strange that if I drag on the service icon, then the line/link will be rearranged nicely, then I save it and close the process, when I open the process again the line/links become mess again not display in the correct position.
Is there anything I can do, so that the lines can be saved correctly. Actually, the process is working corectly even those line seems broken in process designer. I've tried to copy it to a new process, but still can't solve the problem. Please advise if it can be solved. Thanks.

Running Firefox 3.6.13 on Winows 7 and I cant change the mailto link to Outlook

Hi all,
I am running Windows 7, and have Firefox 3.6.13 I am trying to get Firefox to use Outlook 2010 for mailto links.
When I go to tools/options/applicaitons/mailto Firefox does not have Outlook as an option to choose from in the drop down menu.
For the life of me I can not find an outlook.exe to point it to.
The path of the start menu shortcut is not help, it reads: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Virtualization Handler\CVH.EXE" "Microsoft Outlook 2010 9014006204090000"
Pointing Firefox to the CVH.EXE does nothing.
Any ideas?

Your are of course right, I am running 3.6.13 not 5.0 (when I checked it had Mozilla/5.0 on the "about" tab and I obviously mixed the two up.
I understand how in Firefox to change the application associated with mailto my problem is even using the browse function I can not find an .exe for outlook to point Firefox to.
Anyone know how to point 3.6.13 running on windows 7 to outlook 2010?

Changing the encoded link to an aggregated task in MySite

Hello,
we have created a task process in SPD with a content type of Workflow Task 2013.
A user starts the workflow and the task is then assigned to a user. The task is synchronized in his MySite and then wants to either approve or reject the request of this task. But when he clicks on the task the link goes to the EditTask.aspx in MySite and
not the EditForm.aspx of the Task. The problem is then that the user cannot direct approve or reject, only set "Completed" and then the task will be ended with the default value. Furthermore it seems that even the Description field is not the same
as its not synchronized.
We want either to change the link to direct to the editform.aspx of the task or to be able to edit the EditTask.aspx so that one could have also the possibility to directly reject.
Any help is appreciated!

Yes, it is strange. As My Tasks is related to Search Service Application, Work Management Service Application and User Profile Synchronization Service. You can take steps as below for troubleshooting:
Created a WMA service from Central – Quick and easy
Created Incremental Crawls to happen across all the content sources, setup people search, my sites search.
Made coffee and waited.
Didn’t work. Bit more digging around the web mentioned that the App Pool accounts for the Site and WMA service should be the same. Not ideal solution but gave it a shot.
It didn’t work at first, but then, I deleted my existing WMA Service Application and recreated it, but making sure the App Pool ID that I used was the same as my Web Applications.

Hi, let say I have something like this (flowed positioning):
Main subform

     subform B
     subform C
And I want, by code to change them to:

     subform C
     subform A
     subform B
How can I do that?

Seems like you want to get the last subform, insert it at the first position and then have the subsequent subforms beneath the subform placed on first position...
2. That's it?
3. Can you have more subforms than only 3?
4. Does all the three subforms has the same fields inside them?
5. Or you just want to change the position of the flowed subforms?

How do I change the user linked image

In the user profile there is a specified "linked" image. In my case it is the image that was created when my user ID was first established. I'd love to change it to a better image because evidently it gets linked with my messages etc. I'm running Yosemite (OS 10.10.1) on a relatively new iMac

That is precisely what I'd like to do but I cannot figure out how to do it. When I select the "linked" tab a little window with a matrix of squares appears. One (upper left) has the offending image. It can be "edited" but that seems limited to changing the brightness, zoom or something with a slider bar below. I can't delete it or replace it. I can't figure out how to populate the other empty square with images (I'm only guessing that is what they are there for). I tried drag-and-drop and copy paste without any evident action happening. I'm trying to do exactly what you advise, but I'm lost.

Here go to Collaboration->Administration Guide-> Basic Configuration-> Configuring the masthead for collaboration.
The above configuration has to be done to launch the CLP.
