How I can change this code, it only works when the cursor retrieves one row
like this
201410

If it returns 2 rows, I only get the fir one in the drop out menu

Fall 2013
201420
Spring 2014
I try to put a loop but it does not work..
I need to be able to display any term that is retrieve by the cursor  (can be more than one)

You are using the Eclipse Dali plugin to generate tables from your entities, not the EclipseLink JPA provider at runtime, so the settings in your persistence.xml are ignored.  The documentation for the Dali table Wizards state it will drop and create tables.  If you want to use the EclipseLink persistence settings to just create tables, access your persistence unit in a test case or deployment.

  • How to bring the more than one rows from the table into the script

    Hi
    I have to bring more than one rows from the table into the Main windows of the script. so plz help me out.
    Thanks in Advance
    Ananya

    Hi Ananya,
       Bring more than one row into main window of script.
       For this you need to do some changes for data which you pass to main window.At a time you need to pass more than one row,so for this you need to define one structure.See below code.
    Types:begin of ty_rows,
         include structure (your row_structure),
         include structure (your row_sturcture),
    Types:end of ty_rows.
    for example....
    If i need to pass 2 vendor details at a time to main window then the structure should be like this.
    Types:begin of ty_rows,
           vendor1 like lfa1-lifnr,
           vendor1_name like lfa1-name1,
           vendor2 like lfa1-lifnr,
           vendor2_name like lfa1-name1,
          end of ty_rows.
    Data:i_main type standard table of ty_rows,
         wa_main type ty_rows.
    Based on condition you can pass more than one rows of your actual internal table data to i_main internal table.
    Then you can pass i_main internal table to your main window.
        I think this will help you.
    Cheers,
    Bujji

  • How do I add more than 10 options to the drop down menu?

    Presently, I'm only able to give ten options but many of my items have 20-30 options.How do I add more than ten options to the drop down menu?

    BrazenChick wrote:

    It depends on the type of option. If each option has a separate price, then I don't know of a way to add more than 10 options since those options with the prices are encoded into the button id. (Well, you could encode the information yourself with PayPal's API, but that is way more involved than I've been willing to tackle.) If you have more than 10 options such as color, scent, etc that don't affect the price, then you can edit the code you have added to your website to add additional items in the list. For example, suppose you had options "red" and "green", the relevant part of the code would look something like this: <select name="os0">
    <option value="red">red </option>
    <option value="green">green </option></select> If you want to add the option "blue", you would insert the line : <option value="blue">blue </option> before the closing </select> tag. More than 10 options won't be saved in the PayPal button creator, but it will work just fine in your website since this type of option isn't encoded in the id.

  • Showing more than one row at the same time, trigger necessary?

    hi
    I'm an absolute beginner in oracle forms, so i have a fundamental problem. i have a forms with 3 data-tables/data-blocks with following names and columns:
    table "connection type": con_id, con_descr
    table "connection": con_con_id (foreign key to "con_id" from "connection_typ"), sales_id (foreign key to "s_id" from "sales")
    table "sales": s_id, s_descr
    now i'm trying to get the following thing: when i'll execute an execute-query on "con_id" from data-block one (table "connection") i want see all records in block two (table "connection") and at the same time for each record in block two the description from "sales". so for each record in "connection" exists a record in "sales". the current problem is that i just see the "s_descr" from the selected/current record in "connection", but not all "s_descr" of every record.
    i think i need a post-query-trigger but i don't know the code i need...
    i hope someone understand my problem and might help me. thanks!

    So, let me try to summarize:
    Connection has a foreign key to both ConnectionType and to Sales
    When you select a ConnectionType in blok1, you want to see all Connections for that type in block 2. That's a clasic Master-Detail relationship and it looks like you've got that cracked.
    If you also use a Master-Detail relationship between Connection and Sales, it will make sure Oracle Forms queries the Sales block based on the value of the current record in Connection. Hence it is showing all the Sales record for the current Connection. That's always one (or none if the sales-id is optional).
    You probably don't want to use a separate block for Sales with a relationship to Connection. Don't you want just a number of lookup fields. In the Connection block you also want to show the Description from the Sales table.
    To accomplish that, add an extra field to the Connection block to hold the Sales Description. Then write a post-query trigger on the Connection block. That trigger will fire for each record being fetched. In that trigger you can do something like:
    select description into :connection.sales_descr from sales where id=:connection.sales_id;
    Alternatively you can also base the Connection block on a query in stead of directly on the Connection table. That allows you to write a Select statement that (outer) joins Connection to Sales and use that query result as the basis for the block.

  • Hacking application id equals() to allow more than one row per "primary key"

    I have a read only entity whose primary key is not the real primary key
    on the underlying table. The result is that I get more than one row per
    "primary key". This is what I want. However KODO will not allow me do
    it, because I am storing the collection in a HashSet() and the equals()
    method on the application id object ensures that this set contains no
    duplicates (as defined by the application id). At least thats how it
    seems to behave.
    So, I have hacked the equals() method to do this:
    public boolean equals (Object ob)
    if (this == ob)
    return true;
    // Doing this because we expect more than one row from
    // REF_CODES for the same domain/shortCode combination.
    // This is ok to do (I guess?) as long as we are only
    // doing selects using this class.
    return false;
    Will this hack have any side effects? Is there another option? Like
    using a list collection? Is so, which collections are supported?
    Thanks,
    Mike.

    The "primary key" I am using it already a compound key of two columns.
    The real key on the underlying table is a three column key. But the
    problem is that the table represents two different application level
    entities. I could deal with it when I was hand-writing SQL (I could do
    a distinct for example) but now I am relying on foreign key
    relationships since I moved to JDO. Not sure what to do. Best solution
    is to rework the table, but there is a lot of legacy code (that other
    teams use and maintain) relying on this table. I guess I'll use the
    weekend for inspiration ;-)

    data (for example in caching both at the PM and PMF level) Is there no
    other field that you can reference as part of the primary key? Primary
    Keys can be multi columned (e.g. last_name, soc_sec_number)

    Can any one give me clue ,how to find out which sub query returns more than one row in the following query .This is why smaller, simpler queries are easier to work with than huge ones - when something like this goes wrong smaller queries are much eaiser to debug. Unfortunately using smaller, easier-to-work with queries is not always an option
    Ganesh is right - you will have to dissect the big query bit by bit until you find the offending subquery. If there is another way I would like to find out about it too.
    The easiest way to do this is probably to use block comments to isolate parts of the query bit by bit until you find the offending part. If you carefully examine the subqueries you might be able to figure out which one is returning multiple rows without commenting everything
    Good luck!

  • Update column with subquery returning more than one row

    Hi Everybody,
    Please let me know how to handle this. I am writing update statement in procedure with subquery and it is returning multiple rows. Please help me, how i can handle this :
    UPDATE TABLEA A
    SET A.ERROR_MESSAGE = (Select B.XERROR_MESSAGE from TABLEB B, TABLEA A WHERE B.id = A.id)
    WHERE A.id = (Select B.id from TABLEB B, TABLEA A WHERE B.id = A.id);
    (Select B.XERROR_MESSAGE from TABLEB B, TABLEA A WHERE B.id = A.id) --- This subquery is returning more than one rows. How i can handle this in Pl/SQL?
    Please let me know. I will be very thankful to you all.
    I will really appreciate your replies and comments.
    Thank you

    Try getting rid of tablea in your subqueries. You already have it in the UPDATE statement.
    UPDATE TABLEA A
    SET    A.ERROR_MESSAGE = (Select B.XERROR_MESSAGE
                              from   TABLEB B
                              WHERE  B.id = A.id
    WHERE  A.id = (Select B.id
                   from   TABLEB B
                   WHERE  B.id = A.id);You can also try a simple MERGE:
    merge into tablea a
    using tableb b
    on    (a.id = b.id)
    when  matched then update
          set a.error_message = b.xerror_message;

  • SDK 3.0 : code signing error : more than one certificate for my profile ?!

    Hi all,
    Since I installed the SDK3 with OS3.0, I'm not able to develop on the device because of a provisionning profile issue.
    So, I've revoked all my certificates, created properly a new dev certificate, associated to a developer provisioning profile. Every-thing's fine at this step.
    But in my app, when a assign this profile (also added in the iPhone), and I build, i get a code signing error which indicates that the associated certificate for the iPhone Developer: xxxx is more than once in my keychain !!??
    I've checked the keychain and there is only ONE iphone certificate. So, i really don't understand !
    I've redone this step few times, to be sure... But still the same issue !
    Any clue ?

    Same here.
    I installed SDK 3.0 yesterday and was about to remove and re-install certificate today, until I found this thread.
    SDK 3.0 seems to have problems with handling provisioning profiles. If you use Xcode in Japanese, the provisioning profiles are shown as "?" in the popup menu, while if you start Xcode in English, the correct provisioning profiles are selectable.
    First, I had the "?" issue, then after I switched the language to English, I faced this "more than one certificate in the keychain" problem ...

    I have more than one copy of the same song in my iTunes. Some have the icloud symbol next to them and some do not. I need to clean this up but I am afraid to delete the songs for fear I will lose them. Please help! On top of that my Mac keeps telling me my start up disc is full and I am deleting stuff like crazy!

    Welcome to the  Discussion Forums
    It won't be a problem if you delete your extra copies.
    I don't download very much to my tv, I do sometimes if I'm in bed but usually I do it from itunes. However if you have not fully downloaded something to the tv it is possible to start the download from itunes as well, you have likely activated 'check for downloads fin itunes in some way, could be by opening itunes, selecting 'check or downloads' from the advanced menu or that you simply have automatically check for downloads set in your prefs and it has checked coincidentally.

  • Please see this post : Export to more than one excel sheet.

    Hello Marvel team,
    I have already post this question, but no answer :
    I am looking to do something related to the export of data to an excel file and I am asking if one of you has do something like the following :
    I need, on a click on a button export some data to more than one sheet in the same excel file.
    I looked to what askTom propose, with the sylk format:
    http://asktom.oracle.com/pls/ask/f?p=4950:8:::::F4950_P8_DISPLAYID:728625409049
    and this can resolve my problem in part, with sylk I can have what I want but only in one sheet and for me it's very important that I can export to more than one sheet in the same excel file.
    Thanks for any help!
    Jina.

  • Fetching more than one row from a table after selecting one value from the dropdown

    Hi Experts,
    How can we fetch more than one row from a table after selecting one value from the dropdown.
    The scenario is that I have some entries in the dropdown like below
      A               B               C
    11256          VID          911256
    11256          VID          811256
    11256          SONY      11256
    The 'B' values are there in the dropdown. I have removed the duplicate entries from the dropdown so now the dropdownlist has only two values.for eg- 'VID' and'SONY'. So now, after selecting 'VID' from the dropdown I should get all the 'C' values. After this the "C' values are to be passed to other methods to fetch some data from other tables.
    Request your help on this.
    Thanks,
    Preeetam Narkhede.

    Hi Preetam!
    I hope I understand your request proberly, since this is more about Java and less about WebDynpro, but if I'm wrong, just follow up on this.
    Supposed you have some collection of your original table data stored in variable "origin". Populate a Hashtable using the values from column "B" (let's assume it's Strings) as keys and an ArrayList of whatever "C" is (let's assume String instances, too) as value (there's a lot of ways to iterate over whatever your datasource is, and since we do not know what your datasource is, maybe you'll have to follow another approach to get b and c vaues,but the principle should remain the same):
    // Declare a private variable for your Data at the appropriate place in your code
    private Hashtable temp = new Hashtable<String, ArrayList<String>>();
    // Then, in the method you use to retrieve backend data and populate the dropdown,
    // populate the Hashtable, too
    Iterator<TableData> a = origin.iterator();
    while (a.hasNext()) {
         TableData current = a.next();
         String b = current.getB();
         String c = current.getC();
         ArrayList<String> values = this.temp.get(b);
         if (values == null) {
              values = new ArrayList<String>();
         values.add(c);
         this.temp.put(b, values);
    So after this, you'll have a Hashtable with the B values als keys and collections of C values of this particular B as value:
    VID --> (911256, 811256)
    SONY --> (11256)
    Use
    temp.keySet()
    to populate your dropdown.
    After the user selects an entry from the dropdown (let's say stored in variable selectedB), you will be able to retrieve the collection of c's from your Hashtable
    // In the metod you handle the selection event with, get the c value collection
    //and use it to select from your other table
    ArrayList<String> selectedCs = this.temp.get(selectedB);
    // now iterate over the selectedCs items and use each of these
    //to continue retrieving whatever data you need...
    for (String oneC : selectedCs) {
         // Select Data from backend using oneC in the where-Clause or whatever...
    Hope that helps
    Michael
