  • Problems with OC4J Web services and Flex SOAPEncoder

    Hello!
    I got a problem trying to execute a web service running in
    Oracle OC4j 10.1.3.3, and a client side with Flex3. I generated the
    scripts for using the web service using Flex builder 3, but it's
    not making a valid call to web service. I debugged the call
    operation to the Flex SOAPEncoder which seems to generate an
    invalid soap message. The SOAPEncoder generates the following
    message;
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns="
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <tns:getDocuments xmlns:tns="
    http://modultek.atonpdm.document/">
    <tns:getDocuments>
    <tns:String_1>service manual</tns:String_1>
    </tns:getDocuments>
    </tns:getDocuments>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Where the correct working soap message should be;
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV="
    http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns="
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="
    http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>
    <tns:getDocuments xmlns:tns="
    http://modultek.atonpdm.document/">
    <tns:String_1>service manaual</tns:String_1>
    </tns:getDocuments>
    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>
    Problem in the first message is that Flex SOAPEncoder
    generates an extra <tns:getDocuments> child tag, and Oracle
    app server can't handle it.
    Has someone any idea why SOAPEncoder is generating the extra
    operation tag, and is this behaviour configurable somehow or is the
    soapencoder broken?

    Best regards, Janne

    I am having the exact same problem. The SOAPEncoder is adding
    an additional tag and the server thinks the envelope is not
    properly formatted and therefore does not know what to do with it.
    Is there any fix for this yet? Or has it even been reported as a
    bug?

  • Portal Not Responding ( May be with Dispatcher / Http Service )

    Hi Folks,
    Our Portal system has stopped responding and there is no response for any request. Meanwhile if I go to SAPMMC console, all Status are shown Green.
    I think the dispatcher (or internally HTTP service) could be an issue, but not able to debug the same. I have got the same issue before, and the only way I could correct it was by restarting the portal server. I don't want to take this route and want to get to the root of the problem.
    Has any one faced the same issue? Please guide me how to debug the issue.
    Thanks,
    Deepak

    Dear Sudhir,
    Thanks for your time.
    I have basic Http Watch tool and I ran the same. There is no response from the server and hence nothing is being returned. Any other points Sudhir?

    Deepak

  • HT4847 I had a previous e-mail address associated with my Apple Account.  I change this, but Cloud did not update with the change.  Now I can't log-in under the old I.D. and when I try to provide a password or get through by providing my BD it says it is

    For some reason when trying to get ito Cloud, I can't get into my previous e-mail address to make changes, which I must do to delete it.  Cloud does not recognize my old password and the system does not seem to associate my BD with it.  I knowlonger have the old e-mail address associated with Cloud.
    I have a new e-mail associate with my Apple account and a new password.  The problem is trying to get Cloud to recognize my new I.D.

    You have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • Firefox puts cursor at the end of a textarea, not at the beginning, how can I change this (serious usability nightmare when working with a wiki)?

    When I edit my DokuWiki a lot of text is displayed in the textarea. Until Firefox 4 the cursor was always at the beginning of the textarea, which made it easy to scroll down to the part I needed to edit. Now the cursor is always at the end. This is a serious usability nightmare for me. How can I change it that the cursor is at the beginning of the textarea text?

    Hello cor-el,
    thanks for your answer but unfortunately, this isn't it. I can toggle bidirectional text and the whole text is changed so that it aligns on the right side. But the problem I have is that the text is still aligns on the left side, editing is left-to-right, it's just the cursor that's at the end of the text.
    Best regards & thank you
    Daniel

  • Think it time to change to more reliable device and one with better customer services..

    why is there no line of communication open to apple my i5s has gone haywire and it starting got cost me money work wise !!!!!!!

    What makes you think there is "no line of communication open to Apple"?  THIS is a user to user forum, but if you'd like to communicate with Apple, you can do so by going to any Apple store, calling Apple support, or submitting feedback via the Apple website.  How many other lines of communication would you like?
    If you have a technical support question, post it here, clearly and in detail, and the many fine folks here will do their best to help.
    If your phone is defective, bring it to an Apple store and they will try to help.
    Posting tantrums and random venting will not solve your problems.

    Any advice anyone could give would be wonderful. I'm pretty

    perhaps you missed this step:
    --> Modify the code and add Credentials before calling the web method:
    Public
    SubMain()
    Dim
    ws As NewService1
    ws.Credentials =
    New System.Net.NetworkCredential("user name",
    "password",
    "domain name")
    MsgBox("Square
    of 2 = "& ws.Square(2))
    Dts.TaskResult = Dts.Results.Success
    End
    Sub

  • Multiple Comboboxes with single instance of Array Collection

    First off - thanks to everyone for their contributions.  This forum provides a lot of good information.
    I'm stuck on a particular problem and I suspect I'm not thinking about the issue correctly.
    I'm developing a dynamic module that instantiates components at runtime based on an XML scheme.  Many of these components are drop-downs that are chained togther (a selection in one drives the population of the next)
    I loop through the initial XML document to create and layout the components.  I have been using a single Array Collection to populate the drop-down.  This worked fine with the chained comboboxes since I only load one combox initially.  However, when I add a couple of static combo boxes, the arraycollection seemed to be binding to the orginal combobox.  For example, if I create 3 combo boxes they have drop-down values that display all 3 lists appended together.  I was a bit surprised because I didn't think that I could bind an Array Collection.  I certainly haven't defined a Binable ArrayCollection.
    I thought I could solve the issue by simply creating a unique Array Collection at runtime - one for each element.  However, I don't think this is possible or I can't figure out how to create a new Array Collection with a dynamic name - something like this:
    I was hoping this would work -
    var newDropDown_[numOfElement]:ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection();
    I've tried to use a Dictionary object to store each ArrayCollection.  I couldn't get that to work properly.
    Essentially - my code loops on the number of components to add:
    for (var i:int = 0; i < numFormElements; i++)
              for (var j:int = 0; j < numvalues; j++)
                                    var valuefield:String = 'value_' + [j+1];
                                    var obj:Object=new Object();
                                    obj.label=instFields[i][valuefield].@label;
                                    obj.data=instFields[i][valuefield].@data;
                                    newDropDown.addItemAt(obj,j);
    Then I add the components:
              var c:ComboBox = new ComboBox ();
                c.labelField='label';
                c.name=numberOfElement.toString();
                c.dataProvider=    newDropDown;
                _h1.addChild(c);
                numComboDropDwns.push(c);
    I need a way of looping, getting data and populating each component independently??
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    John

    I went a different route and solved the issue.  For someone looking at a similar problem - this what I ended up doing:
    I just loaded one array collection with data for all of the drop-downs on the form.  I then populated each dataprovider with individual elements from the array.
    for (var i:int = 0; i < numFormElements; i++)
    for (var j:int = 0; j < numvalues; j++)
                                    var valuefield:String = 'value_' + [j+1];
                                    var obj:Object=new Object();
                                    obj.label=instFields[i][valuefield].@label;
                                    obj.data=instFields[i][valuefield].@data;
                                    newDropDown.addItemAt(obj,elementCounter);
                                    elementCounter = elementCounter + 1;
    I keep track of the element #, number of values for each element and the overall index for the array.
    Each data provider is then loaded with the subset from the array:
    for (var z:int = (_counter - _numvalues) ; z < _counter; z++)
                                var _label:String=    newDropDown.getItemAt(z).label.toString();
                                var _data:String = newDropDown.getItemAt(z).data.toString();
                                c.dataProvider.addItem({label:[_label],data:[_data]});
    This seems to work nicely - each component is created and loaded with only their data.  I spent 3 days searching for a way to create a dynamic arraycollection at runtime.  I don't think it's possible - but I'm not sure it was the best method anyway.

  • Amazon rejection - The link to Adobe AIR in your app needs to be updated - How do I change this

    Here's a message I got  from Amazon:
    Device Tested : Motorola Droid (2.3), HTC Evo (2.3.3),Samsung Galaxy Tablet(2.2)
    Issue: The link to Adobe AIR in your app needs to be updated so that customers are taken directly to the Adobe AIR app page on the Amazon Appstore. The Download URL is http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?p=com.adobe.air Steps: i)Launch the application. ii)Tap on "Install">> "Appstore". Observe that the application goes to the home page of the Amazon app store for the installation of Adobe Air.
    I am assumed I could change this in my xml file:
    I change the URL in this line to the one they provided (http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?p=com.adobe.air):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?>
    <application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/2.6">
    However, when it is published it always changes it back to the old address. How do I prevent this?

    Thanks.
    I think I found the answer couresty of Benny 7500 on Aug 11, 2011 9:18 AM.
    For me works editing of Markets.xml file at:
    "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash CS5.5\en_US\Configuration\Android\Markets.xml"
    and replacing of Amazon Appstore key to
    <market name="Amazon Appstore" url="http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?p=com.adobe.air"/>
    That's all!

  • How to handle HTTPS Service that returns XML

    When using Flash + AMF remoting I've always typecast the event.result as XML(event.result).  Typecasting isn't working in Flash Builder, I'm getting an object as the result [object MYXMLROOT] and I can access it's properties, but I can't typecast it as XML, nor can I loop each of it's properties....

    Hi,
    There are ways to use XML returned by Http Service in  flex. Is this what you are looking to achieve?

  • Having trouble with the HTTP Server vi

    I'm having trouble using the HTTP Server program to view the front panel of my program remotely.
    When I initially start the server program everything works fine. However, the program hasn't been able to run for more than one or two days at a time before it freezes and won't display the front panel.
    The only clue I can see as to what is going on is that there are always several pending connections and active connections listed in the HTTP Server front panel when it isn't working properly. Stopping the server and starting it again fixes the problem temporarily and it works fine for another day or two.
    Any ideas about what might be causing this problem?

    Which OS do you have? Win95 and 98 are not very stable systems, so you might want to try with WinNT. You should be able to run the HTTP server for few days on WinNT.
    Since restarting the server solves the problem, maybe you can try to programmatically restart the server every 24 hours. This can be done within LabVIEW with the HTTP Server Control.vi. Be aware that this will close all the connections, not just the pending ones.
    Does this problem happen every couple of days, or are you able to run it sometimes for a longer period time? Is it related to how many clients request control?
    Also, take a look at the Access Log, and see if you notice anything strange at the time when the problem happens.
    I hope this helps.
    Have a pleasant day.

  • Using An Array Collection Produced From XML In Conjunction With Shared Object

    I have an old app that Greg LaFrance helped me out with greatly which allows the user to drag items between two tilelists and then save the contents of both tilelists by clicking a save button using the sharedObject method. The tilelists are populated by array collections defined in the app. I want to change this so that the tilelists are instead populated by an array collection which I've retrieved from a remote xml file via http request but I can't get this to work. Basically I need to replace both the predefined array collections profile1NewsAndSportaddLinksFullAC and profile1NewsAndSportaddLinksAC with my xml/httprequest produced newsAC array collection and still make the tilelists saveable. • How to convert an array collection instance to a complex object for interaction with webservice

    Hi there,
    I have a stubborn problem that I am trying to work out the best way to solve the problem.  I am interacting with a WebService via HTTPService calling a method called find(String name) and this returns me a List of ComplexObjects that contain general string and int params and also lists of other Complex Objects.  Now using the code:
    ArrayCollection newOriginalResultsArray = new ArrayCollection(event.result as Array)
    flex converts my complex objects results to an arraycollection so that I can use it in datagrids etc.  Now up until this part is all good.  My problem is when getting a single instance from the results list, updating it by moving data around in a new datagrid for example - I want to interact with the webservice again to do an create/update.  This is where I am having problems - because these webservice methods require the complex object as a parameter - I am struggling to understand how I can convert the array collection instance back to my complex object without iterating over it and casting it back (maybe this is the only way - but I am hoping not).
    I am hoping that there is a simple solution that I am missing and that there is some smart cookie out there that could provide me with an answer - or at least somewhere to start looking. I guess if I have no other alternative - maybe I need to get the people who built the service to change it to accept an array - and let them do the conversion.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Bert

    Hi Bert,
    According to my knowledge you can use describeType(Object) method which will return an XML... That XML will contain Properties and values just iterate through the XML and create a new Object..   Probably u can use this method...
    public function getObject(reqObj:Object,obj:Object,instanceName:String,name:String=null,index:int=-1):Obj ect
                if(!reqObj)
                    reqObj = new Object();
                var classInfo:XML = describeType(obj);
                var className:String = instanceName;
                if(name!=null)
                    className=name+"."+className;
                if(index!=-1)
                    className=className+"["+index+"]";
                for each (var v:XML in classInfo..accessor)
                    var attributeName:String=v.@name;
                    var value:* = obj[attributeName]
                    var type:String = v.@type;
                    if(!value)
                        reqObj[className+"."+attributeName] = value;
                    else if(type == "mx.collections::ArrayCollection")
                        for(var i:int=0;i<value.length;i++)
                            var temp:Object=value.getItemAt(i);
                            getReqObject(reqObj,temp,attributeName,className,i);
                    else if(type == "String" || type == "Number" || type == "int" || type == "Boolean")
                        reqObj[ className+"."+attributeName] = value;
                    else if (type == "Object")
                        for (var p:String in value)
                            reqObj[ className+"."+attributeName+"."+p] = value[p];
                    else
                        getReqObject(reqObj,value,attributeName,className);
                return reqObj;
    Thanks,
