Changes email password in iphoto

I accidentially put in the wrong password when setting up my email account through iphoto.  I need to change because it won't send the photos through iphoto.
How do I do that?
THanks

My email account was hacked. Had to change email password, now unable to send email from my ipad. I am such a novice technically, and have no clue what to do. Please help!

    Hi Skiddishchloe,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your email account and your iPad. If you are having issues sending mail from your iPad after changing your email password, you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following article helpful:

ipad keeps requesting outlook password, trying cancel but still in cycle - can not do anything else.  NOTE - recently change email password on PC

    Try a reboot:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. Once you do that, go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and make sure the correct, new password is entered in that account.

  • I can't access email from my iPhone 3gs since changing email password

    Hi all,
    iPhone 3s 16GB
    iOS version: 6.1.3
    ISP Bigpond Cable
I can't access my email from my iPhone 3GS.
This is an iPhone problem, not an ISP problem.
I know this because I can access my email from both my laptop and webmail.
This is occurring here at home via my WiFi network and also a few kilometres away via 3G.
This morning I had to change the password on my Bigpond Cable internet email account.
Whenever I try to access email from my phone I receive the following error:
    "Cannot Get Mail"
"The user name or password for "**** *****" is incorrect."
There are two buttons, one captioned Settings the other OK.
Both the user name and password are correct. This happened perhaps 4 or 5 times in the 6+ years I was with Internode and has happened a couple of times in the 20 months that I've been on Bigpond Cable.
I have re-entered my email account and connection details multiple times to no avail.
I have tried deleting the account, then rebooting my phone and creating a new account, but that didn't work.
I tried deleting the account, turning the phone completely off, waiting one minute and then after turning it back on, creating a new account but that didn't work.
I know I am entering the correct settings because before I deleted the account the first time, I took a series of screen captures from the Settings App and I also have the settings from MS Outlook to refer to.
Its as though somewhere in the phone, the old email password is being stored and being used instead of the new one, but I don't know where that could be except in the Settings app, "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and that is where I am entering the new password.
The only solutions to this problem I found by searching are those that I have already tried and haven't worked for me.
Reverting to the old password is not an option. My account was compromised by Malware, hence the password change and a complete scan of my laptop.
    Any ideas?

The problem was resolved by erasing the entire contents of my phone and then restoring it, setting it up as a new phone.

  • Requests to change email password

Why am I being advised of suspicious activity on my account & told to change my e-mail log in passord every few days (3or4)?

"Suspicious activity" usually means your account is being used to send out spam or malicious emails.  This usually means that somebody else has found out your password and possibly also the answer to your security question.  This enables them to log on to the BT web site and gain access to your email account.
If the problems keeps happening but you have changed your password then perhaps the new password is extremely easy to guess (particularly if you knew what the old password was).  Or it could mean that the suspicious activity originates from your computer(s).  So it could be something you are doing or something a 'virus' on your computer is doing.

  • Changed email password/get SSL error when trying to change

    Hi,
I have a 8600 plus priner.  I changed my gmail password and printer will not scan to email because of this.  I went through the IP address in chrome web browser and when attempting to change outgoing email password in all of the appropriate locations I get SSL error. Not sure what the next step should be.  Please help!
    Thanks!

    Hi BluffDrive,
Usually you will get better help for printers in the printer section of the forum.
I do not use scan to email but I do hear that you HAVE to use the HP software to change the email settings, not go through the IP address into the printer.
If you click on Scan to Email, do you see a button for "Setup"? If so it will let you add new email and also change passwords.
    Hope it helps.

  • Changing email password screws up iPhone email send

I changed my email password at request of email my provider - works fine on my MacBook but iPhone5 now won't send email (but receives OK). Message is
"Cannot Send Mail. A copy has been placed in your Outbox. The recipient [email address] was rejected by the server."
I assume that in changing the password some other settings have been screwed up, even though I have synched phone to laptop.
    Ideas welcome. Thanks

OK. Just figured it out. Seems you have to manually change the SMTP password on the phone and cannot rely on synching to computer (why not?). Especially weird as I didn't need to change the SMTP password on my computer. Oh well.

  • Change email password from Outlook

    Hi all,
We are running instance of messaging 6.2 (Q12005).
Using the Messanger Express, users are able to change their email account passwords using the "Options" --> >"Password".
How can the users change their password using the MS-Outlook ? We are using the IMAP connection type for all the users.
    Regards

Using IMAP from Outlook, you cannot change passwords.
Using the Outlook Connector, you can use the Outlook change password feature. It'll take you to the same web page you can use now.

    What does happen?Any error message?
This is your BIS account login, on your BlackBerry under the Setup > Personal Email setup.
If you don't know your username and password, click on the password reset and it will be sent to your BlackBerry.
