  • Previous figures before updating the price list

    Dear all,
How do you get a previous price in the price list that is updated recently?.  i.e. the status of a price list on a given date?
    thanks
    SV Reddy

You can try the AIT1 table. But it does not contain the date of the price change.

  • Updating product price lists

I'm trying to develop a numbers document that will allow me to update products in our local system when the manufacturer sends out their new pricelists.
Specifically I need a way to:
    1. identify and isolate newly added products
    2. identify and isolate products that have been removed
    3. identify any products that have updated descriptions and or prices
Currently I can manage to do these things, but I feel like I'm going about it in a very roundabout way. Since I assume this is something that many people need to do I figured I'd ask how others are doing this. Maybe there is a tutorial for this type of spreadsheet that you can point me to.
    Thank you

The manufacturer gives us the spreadsheet as an excel document, here's an excerpt:
And this is what I've gotten so far in my attempt to make a streamlined update process.
As you can see in addition to adding and removing new and obsolete entries I'm adding chinese translations. That is why I also need to figure out if any of the descriptions change as when they do I need to update the translation as well.
So far I've been creating a sheet and using VLOOKUP on the ItemID column for matching up the new list to the old list to see which items no longer exist; another sheet matching the old list to the new one to see which items did not exist before an another sheet to add the translations. And then I have yet another sheet that has the formatting I need when exporting a .csv document for our POS system.
I have a feeling that there is probably a more straightforward approach to accomplishing this task, that only my inexperiance with spreadsheet software is preventing me from finding.
Then there is the matter of finding changes in the descriptions and prices so I can hightlight them for the sales staff and update the translation.

  • Based Price List Updated Prices

    Hello.
I'm having a problem with price lists and exchange rates. I.e., I've a price list defined in Kwanzaa, based in another one in USD. Everytime the USD exchange rate is updated, the prices in the Kwanza price list are updated too.
Is there any way to prevent the prices in the Kwanza Price List to update?
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Marta Silva

    Dear Ms Silva,
I can suggest to delete the link between the two price lists and use a factor for the price list in Kwanzaa. If I understood correctly the price list in Kwanzaa does not have to change according to the exchange rate, so there is no need to link the two price lists.
When you enter a factor a pop up message you asks you if you want to update the price list of that value. Then the factor is back to 1.
Please, let me know if this helps.

  • Price List Auto Update based on Last Purchase Price

    Dear Expert
I have a problem in updating the PriceList at one of my client site . They are making CST purchase
Eg.    We are entering purchase through Goods Receipt PO item cost 100RS and CST tax 20 RS
Then Copy to AP invoice . so the item cost is coming to 120 as CST is non deductible tax .
If we goto Price list , it will clearly show last purchase Price is 120 every thing is fine till now
Now the issue comes :- company is incurring frieght charges 10 Rs or any amount this also has to be included to cost that we are entering through Landed Cost . This 10Rs is automatically adding to cost . if we look the item cost it will be 130 this is also correct . But the Problem is that when we go to Pricelist we find that Last Purchase price as 110 that is 100 Rs base doc price +10 Rs Frieght (Landed Cost) . .
Actually the Last Purchase Price should come as 130 (1002010) . We are dealing with 4000+ items it is difficult to mannually update the Price List .

    Dear Shihabuddin,
In most localization, price is for before tax price. If you want tax included in the price, you can create your own price list to calculate.

  • Mass updating/uploading of a price list

    Hi,
Need to know if there is a way to mass update a price list. For example, I have 1000 items on price list 3. I need to update the prices of all items in the list and there is no definete factor. Since there is no definete factor I need to update all manually and since there are many items, need to know if there is a way to upload the prices for a specific price list.
also need to know if there is any way to update the "Last Purchase price" list
    thanks for any help !

    Hi,
thanks for the details. I still have an issue on this. I have used the templates and tried to upload the price list and face the following problem.
First, I am not clear as to what the field "LineNum" in the "Item_Prices" template means. I assumned that this was the price list number, but even though the upload says that all items were successfully updated, I cannot find any price list that has the updated prices... all lists still have the same old price... : (
Now I am confused... Need some help on the below:
    1. LineNum : Is this the price list number ?
    2. I have manually maintained some of hte prices, can they be updated ?
    3. What about the prices that are taken as a factor of a base list ( like 1.3x Last purchase price...)
Need some help urgently on this please...
    Thanks !

  • Update Price List by DTW ODBC Connection

    Hi Experts,
I wondered if there was a way to update a Price List in SAP by DTW ODBC connection please?  I have two databases with exactly the same Price Lists, apart from I need to update one price list in one of the databases with the inforamtion as a Price List in another SAP database on the same server.  The price list is called C60000 and is the 7th Price list (therefore number 6) and this is the Query I was using:
    SELECT T1.[ItemCode], T1.[Price] FROM OPLN T0  INNER JOIN ITM1 T1 ON T0.ListNum = T1.PriceList WHERE T1.[PriceList] = '6'
The Query shows correctly in STEP 4 of DTW when I click on Import in the last Step nothing really seems to happen...
Many many thanks for all your help.
    Caroline

    HI Gordon,
    Thanks for your fast reply!
I guess it's ITM1 I need to update... the actual prices in the Price List.
    Thanks,
    Caroline

It's much easier to use the built in SAP Business One Import from Excel from the Administration Menu.
    Use the following procedure.

    Pricelist Export/Import
    Price List Export Files
When exporting files from Excel to use as imports for update ensure that there is no header and there are only columns Item No./Pricelist/Price and Currency.  The Currency should comply with the standard SAP currency codes (GBP/USD/EUR, etc.).  Save the file as type Text (Tab delimited).  Use this file as per Importing Pricelists above.
    Exporting Price Lists for update
    Use this script:
    SELECT T0.[ItemCode], T0.[PriceList], T0.[Price], T0.[Currency] FROM ITM1 T0 where t0.pricelist = '[%0]'
Select the Price List NUMBER at the prompt. Send this to XL.  In XL, amend the columns Price and Currency as required.  Depending on the Pricelist which is to be updated amend the column Pricelist to the NUMBER of the Pricelist as defined in the leftmost column on the Pricelist screen (Stock management/Price Lists/Price Lists.
If updating the same Price List as that exported the column Pricelist should already be populated with the correct number.

C should auto populate to Price According to Price List.
D should auto populate to Price List Price Currency.
    Tick Update Existing Records.
Tick Update Accounts in Existing Items.
    Click OK.
Select the file as per Price List Export Files above.
The file will then be imported and the relevant Pricelist updated.

  • 0 manual price on price list not synched to webtools

    Hi,
Within some of our b1 price lists we have some item prices set to 0, i.e. the items are free of charge. However, these 0 value records are not synched into the webtools database, resulting in customers assigned to these price lists actually picking up the base price list price and getting charged. I have a number of upset customers as a result of this.
I think I have worked around this by changing these 0 priced items to 0.01 in b1, performing a synch, and then updating the value in webtools of all 0.01 items to 0, and then changing the values back to 0 in B1.
Obviously I am concerned that this could revert back at anytime.
So, to summarise, 0 value item prices are not synched to webtools.
    Martin.

Sorry Bryce that is not at all practical for us.
We have in excess of 5000 customers setup across a number of price lists.
We do not use special pricing at all, partly because we changed our entire discount structure previously so that Webtools would work. We discontinued special pricing, BP level discounts, and sales group discounts as Webtools at the time did not support these. We changed to apply discounts via child price lists.
This was a real pain, but did in fact help to clean up the visibility of who gets what discounts. We do not wish to complicate matters again by reverting to special pricing, especially in relation to this number of Business Partners we have to manage, it would not be feasible.
We cannot change the base price list price to u20AC0 either, as this would result in many of our customers who are assigned to the base price list also getting free postage. Really webtools should just synch over u20AC0 manually entered prices. Certainly I would hope to see this in a patch very soon.
    Thanks.
    Martin.

  • DTW BOM Template - price list missing

    Hi All,
I am working on SAP 2005 B PL 44. the ProductTrees.csv template (master) that comes with DTW does not show 'PriceList' Column, I want to insert the price list (i.e -1 for last purhcase price) at the time  of BOM header creation. how can I add it? I tried adding a column called 'PriceList' at the end in this template but while mapping it does not show it in the column's drop down.
    Thanks ,
    Binita Joshi

    Binita,
Since you mentioned last purchase price, I thought you were talking about child item prices. Here are a few points for you to consider:
    1. The Price List field in the header pertains to the parent item and not to child items. A parent item in BOM may not have a last "purchase" price in most cases. It is not that you change it once in the header and all child item prices will change - no.
    2. If you want to change the price list for child items in existing BOMs, use the "update" templates for productTree lines with comment field "Update". I tried it now for an existing BOM and it works even for price list '-1'.
    3. If you to (manually) update the price list in header of BOM it will only display the parent price in the field at bottom as defined in the selected price list. If you want to update the price in that price list with DTW, U can use PriceLists.csv.
    Thanks,
    Ajay

  • Price List Issue

    Hi Experts,
I am preparing Price List for Item Master Data.
I go through procedure as below :
    1. Filled Base Price for Item 'A' in Price List.
    2. In Spl price for BP selected BP Code '123' and updated price, Set Price List on both header and row level.
    3. Same process as '2nd row' for diff. vendor and set diff price, system generate some disc. for that and price shows in price after disc. coloum.
    4. Select same Priec list in BP MAster > Payment Terms and in Admin > General > Base Price Origin.
    5. Select  Price List in form settings on Purchase Order Form.
But now the prb is when i select BP '1234' in Purchase Order and item 'A' in Item No. system does not shows me unit price but when i manually update the price list in form setting then it is updating price in P.O.
I mean i have to update price list manually in form setting every time when creating P.O.

    hi Ravi
Is your B1 system running on Last purchase price last evaluated price or simply by the price list if its by last purchase price then system would pick up the price automatically the last purchased price and if its the second option then the system would pick the price from last evaluated price and if its the third option then my dear friend u would have to define the price of the item once under inventory =price list- double click of the left column and that would open up the complete price list there please put the price and this price would be picked in the marketing forms

  • DTW Production tree headers - price list

I have 2000+ production Bom's headers that I would like to update via DTW. I want to change the price list on the header. The field on the OITT file is PriceList but the DTW template for production trees does not have this field on it. I know the DTW production tree lines template has price list & price fields on them to update ITT1 but not the header. Does anyone know the field name to use to update the price list number on the headers by DTW please?

    Hi Gordon,
Thanks for the reply. It wasn't the answer I would have liked but that's the way it is sometimes.

  • Fetching prices from price list without condition technique

    Hi,
I have a situation where i need to create a price list of materials which will not be used in my regular sales process pricing.
I would require these prices to send the data to an external interface.
As per my understanding the price list is used to get the customer specific prices and will be used in sales processing for automatic pricing. Kindly let me know how to use the price list without using condition technique.
As i need to create a condition table, Access sequence, condition type to use the price lists, kindly suggest how to avoid the regular process and directly fetch the price of the material from the price list.
Is this possible, if so do let me know the steps.
    Regards,
    K.Byla

    hi,
this is to inform you that,
    PRICE LIST:
it is applicable for a list of Customer's which are under the same group and share same pricing requriments.
With out using Condiiton Technique we are not able to do anything.
this is one of the important field which plays a very important role in pricing determination through CONDITION RECORDS.
you can go through PRICING REPORT, even this does not give any solution to this issue.
you can go for ENHANCEMENT, by creating a Z table with the fields:
KSCHL, AMOUNT & OTHER fields into condideration.
    or
use SM30 and update into the tables - which is not suggested.
    please test and confirm.
    HOPE THIS CLEARS your issue.
