  • Getting started with JCOP Tools

    I have a working Eclipse + JCOP Tools installation, activated. I now also have a Cardman reader (drivers loaded) and some blank JCOP30 cards. I read through the Eclipse embedded JCOP help page, but couldn't find the answers to some simple questions:
    1. How can I see a list of connected readers to ensure my reader hardware is recognized? I read earlier on the forums about a "Launch Configuration page". How do I access this page?
    2. The JCOP Shell seems to be working... my cards are blank and /terminal does show "Slot empty" or "Card present" so I presume the interface is running fine. My cards are totally blank. Can I still read any useful info from them such as vendor strings, version#, etc?
    3. Do the JCOP Tools 3.1.2 come with a sample project? Since I've never used this environment, I would love to see an example of working code that can be simulated or loaded onto a physical card. It would help me "learn by example"
    If there is sample code, where can I find it? I tried to use Eclipse's import from archive but didn't find anything resembling samples within jcop tools. Any example you know of would be great.

    Here is the ATR and cplc output for my card. So far I know with certainty it's JCOP30-something and it supports T=CL.
    But I'm not even sure which Java Card and Global Platform it supports! The "JCOP version map" from the 2003 specs document says JC 2.1.1 and GP 2.0.1, but http://www-306.ibm.com/software/wireless/wecos/jcop30.html says these cards are JC 2.2.1 and GP 2.1.1. Yikes! Which do I have?

    and i created a new javacard project by using Basic Javacard template
    Now when i want to Run ,
    SO i when i set the Run options to Card Reader , and set the card reader to "OmniKey"

    Hi,
    The pegoda reader is the default reader that has hard coded support (like JCOP engineering sample cards). I would say this is because NXP was founded by Phillips.
    I cannot help you with the second issue. I have only used JCOP 3.1.2 for a short time (quite a while ago now) and reverted to 3.1.1.b as 3.1.2 did not add any new features and from memory did not work properly on my WIndows XP machine (32-bit). I can confirm that 3.1.1 works on XP 64-bit under a 32-bit JVM.
    Is the issue when running against a card or the simulator or both?
    You could try running the jcop.exe executable in the plugins\com.ibm.bluez.jcop.eclipse_<version>\simuls\nJCOP\win32\x86 directory from a command prompt to see if it is an issue with Eclipse/Java or the JCOP simulator.
    Cheers,
    Shane

  • Testing Java_card_kit  examples with JCOP tools

    Hi again,
    I'm moving from the Wallet example to more sophisticated examples from the java card kit, how to import those examples into JCOP tools projects?
    For example, the JavaPurse applet involves more classes and packages, if I copy&paste JavaPurse and SampleLibrary packages into my JCOP project, I fall into the following errors:
    - error resolving constant-pool of clazz Lcom/sun/javacard/samples/JavaPurse/JavaPurse; failed: missing export file for package com/sun/javacard/samples/SampleLibrary
    - AID for package com.sun.javacard.samples.SampleLibrary is invalid or not set
    Best regards, Dariush.

    Thank you again, it works.
    Now, what about developing a client application? Do you know if there's an OCF client example to use with?
    I have also another question about the OPSystem class, that should be deprecated and substituted by GPSystem class....
    In the cryptosample example
    http://www.zurich.ibm.com/jcop/download/projects/cryptosample/Sample6.java
    there's the following code:
    if(OPSystem.getCardContentState() == OPSystem.APPLET_PERSONALIZED)
    GPSystem doesn't have APPLET_PERSONALIZED constant, what should I use?
    ciao, Dariush.

  • How to best change shoulder shape with pen tool: cut graphic in half and reflect?

    Hi,
    I'm working with a .eps file of a mannequin. I need to make the shoulders more square and more rounded to show variations on body type. I'm not an illustrator whiz, but I thought that it would be best to slice the graphic down the middle, alter one shoulder, and then reflect it so that they are even. But how do I do cut it in half?
    I've been playing with the convert anchor point tool to change the should shape and while it works, it's very hard for me to replicate the exact same effect on the opposite side. I've uploaded the file so that you can see what I'm talking about. If anyone could suggest the best route, I would very much appreciate it. Thanks!

    For the scissors, you need to insert extra anchor points at the cutting point.
    It is not necessary to insert an anchorPoint before cutting a segment with the Scissor.
    Also, assuming we're talking about closed or filled path(s) here:
    1. Knife Tool.
    2. Press and hold Alt.
    3. Drag the Knife all the way across the Path(s). Add Shift to constrain to vertical/horizontal/45 diagonal angles.
    If the paths are open and unfilled, the Knife tool is useless. It also does not abide by SmartGuides. (Illustrator has three cutting tools and they are all pathetic.)

  • Debug STK applet   with  JCOP 3.0

    Hi all
    i want to debug my STK applet with JCOP tools in eclipse plugin.but somehow i am not able to debug my SIM toolkit with JCOP.
    first ques , is it possible?
    right now i m debuging in manu project---->debug
    then i m choosing java card application to debug,but its not working:(
    how can i proceed step by step for debuging?
    one more ques,
    is it possible to load applet on java card only with JCOP tools?(means without any s/w like views professional or aspects developer.)
    Regards
    Divyesh.

    Hi all.
    I'm having the same problem. I know that a html file is created everytime the applet is invoked (clicking on debug or run) with a diferent name to be called as argument of appletviewer.
    But I will join to the question... How can we use our testpage to do a test of a devel applet?
    Because mine has to be used with javascript and it's very difficult to test it without a custom test page or appletviewer...
    Thank you all

    Dariush.

    Dariush, whether this pin data or not is defined inside an applet. As for Wallet it must be pin value. But I saw several implementations of Wallet applet with different initialize parameters processing.
    Consider this code:
       private Wallet(byte[] bArray, short bOffset, byte bLength) {
          pin = new OwnerPIN(PIN_TRY_LIMIT, MAX_PIN_SIZE);
          byte iLen = bArray[bOffset]; // aid length
          bOffset = (short) (bOffset + iLen + 1);
          byte cLen = bArray[bOffset]; // info length
          bOffset = (short) (bOffset + cLen + 1);
          byte aLen = bArray[bOffset]; // applet data length
          pin.update(bArray, (short) (bOffset + 1), aLen);
          register();
       public static void install(byte[] bArray, short bOffset, byte bLength) {
          new Wallet(bArray, bOffset, bLength);
       }Think of bArray data array as installation parameters (like command-line params in main method of the Java application); some of them you defined using C9 tag in JCOP Shell. Look at the comments in Wallet constructor and you will understand what data is passed. aLen variable denotes the length of parameters you passed through C9 tag.
    You can make a breakpoint on the first line in the constructor and then inspect what bArray actually contains.
    bOffset - is the offset in bArray, bLength - length of the installation params.

  • JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key

    Hi,
    I am developing a Fusion Web Application using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.1.0. I have a home.jspx page that has a ADF table built on efttBilling View Object. . When you click on one of the rows in the table, it will take you to detail.jspx where you can edit the row and save. When 'save' is clicked, stored procedures are executed to update/insert rows into few tables , and then go back to home.jspx where you need to see updated content for that row.
    To get down to the exact issue, updates are made to the tables on which the efttBilling View Object is built using a stored procedure. Once this is done, I am trying to requery view object to see new content. But I keep getting JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key error. Following are the approaches I followed to query new results:
    a. Executed Application Modules Commit Method. Created 'Commit' Action binding and tied it to homePageDef.xml. Called this binding from a view scope bean.
        BindingContainer bindings = BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
         OperationBinding operationBinding = bindings.getOperationBinding("Commit");
        Object result = operationBinding.execute();
       if (!operationBinding.getErrors().isEmpty())
        return null;
    b. Marked 'Refresh on Insert' , 'Refresh on Update', 'Change Indicator' checkboxes for all the attributes in the entities associated with efttBilling View Object.
    c. Tried to Requery View Object. Created a refreshViewObject method in Application Module Impl.java file, exposed this method to the client interface and created a invokeMethod Action binding in home.jspx
    Code in Application Module:
      public void refresheftTransactionsforBillingAccountViewObj1View()
        System.out.println("In eftTransactionsforBillingAccountViewObj1");
      findViewObject("eftTransactionsforBillingAccountViewObj1").executeQuery();
    Code in view scope bean
            DCBindingContainer bindings =
           (DCBindingContainer)BindingContext.getCurrent().getCurrentBindingsEntry();
            OperationBinding operation =
            bindings.getOperationBinding("refresheftTransactionsforBillingAccountViewObj1View");
            operation.execute();
    I have searched web, ADF forums and tried methods suggested in there but no sucess.
    Could anyone please provide some insight in this issue. I have been battling with this since quite some time. I can provide you with the log file too.
    Thanks!
    Shai.

    What code does your Commit method have .. can you try using the Commit executable from the AM itself instead ?

    which all attributes you set this property for . it should just be for History columns as such.
    Did you also check if this could be your scenario ?

  • Another user has changed the row with primary key -Table changed externally

    Hello,
    I am facing the error: "Another user has changed the row with primary key oracle.jbo.Key[94 ]." during the delete operation.
    User case scenario:
    1. Added new row in the table.
    2. Once new row is added to the the table, another application will update few columns in the newly added row based on some logic.
    3. On the same session I am trying to delete the newly added row and getting above mentioned error.
    I have added a "Button" in the table to partialRefresh the table to check the new values of the changed columns.
    I have checked the forum and found many similar errors and tried the following but nothing helped.
    1. By setting "Auto Refresh = True" for the view object.
    Issue faced-> It worked fine but after few add and remove my db is getting to inconsistent state after which, I am not able to do any add/delete from my page.
    Error: "Too many objects match the primary key oracle.jbo.Key". I have checked this and I am not getting this error when "Auto Refresh = False" even after multiple add and remove actions.
    2. By Setting "Auto Refresh" the iterator associated with the page.
    Issue -> Did not work at all.
    Looking forward inputs from gurus.
    Thanks
    Abhijeet

    Finally I found one solution to this problem at: [ http://www.avromroyfaderman.com/2008/05/bring-back-the-hobgoblin-dealing-with-rowinconsistentexception/|http://www.avromroyfaderman.com/2008/05/bring-back-the-hobgoblin-dealing-with-rowinconsistentexception/]
    Simply overriding the lock() method in the entity object resolved issue. Kudos to the author.
    Code:
    public void lock() {
    try {
    super.lock();
    } catch (RowInconsistentException e) {
    refresh(REFRESH_WITH_DB_ONLY_IF_UNCHANGED | REFRESH_CONTAINEES);
    super.lock();
    But, Now my refresh button is not working as depend on the "Auto Refresh = True" to update the table.
    Can anyone tell me how can I refresh the VO of my table from the button.
    Thanks
    Abhijeet.
    P.S: I have already added the partial trigger but it is work not working as the data is cached in the VO. Removing the Cached property for the VO is creating other problems.

    It is possible to perform key pressing more than a key in same time? Example, perform 'q' & 'w' keys pressing at the same time.With r.keyPress method, it only can perform single key pressed at a time. Do you have any idea how to perform multiple key pressed at a time?The javadoc for Robot.keyPress suggests ( "+The key should be released using the keyRelease method+" ) that the key remains "pressed" until you keyRelease(...) it. So, press the keys sequentially:
    theRobot.keyPress(KeyEvent.VK_Q);
    theRobot.keyPress(KeyEvent.VK_W);
    // At this stage both Q and W are pressed "in same time"
    ... // do stuff
    theRobot.keyRelease(KeyEvent.VK_W);
    // At this stage, only Q is pressedI suspect that in real life, unless you're a very gifted musician, you don't really press keys "at the same time" (under the time resolution of a keyboard, which I imagine is around a few milliseconds).

  • JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key...

    Hello,
    could you help me please with resolving this error "JBO-25014: Another user has changed the row with primary key..." - I am just getting a row from a view by bind "filter" variable, then I am assigning new values for some of the attributes - and trying to commit ..unsuccessfully..
    View is based on Entity.
    I saw directive for setting Entity's attributes as "update after insert / update" - but this did not help me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    Please try this solutions:
    One solution is to change the ADF BC locking behavior to optimistic instead of pessimistic. Choose the AM and click the Configuration context menu option. Select the LocalAM entry and go to the Properties. Scroll down to the locking setting and change the existing entry
    If there is a trigger changing values, you need to mark those attributes (the ones that may be changed) as refresh after insert and/or refresh after update in your Entity Object.
