Changing dynamicly the timeout before calling a proxy

Hi.
I am consuming a web service in an ABAP program and i want to know if it's possible to dynamicly change the timeout value.
According to the sales organization, we want to set different timeout values.
So i've seen than this value is defined in the logical port for the consumer proxy. My question now is to understand if we can change this value when we create the proxy in the abap coding or if i have to create several logical ports.

How to change dynamically the Webservice URL

Hi,
I added a webservice to my projet from a WSDL.
As my application needs to fire this webservice towards different servers, I set dynamically the URL in my code. Here is the problem. When I point to the initial server (the one I got the WSDL from), everything is fine. But when I want to fire the webservice toward another machine, my code is not taken into consideration and my application still communicates with the initial server !
I have something like:
        URL url = null;
        StuffService stuffService = new StuffService(RIOT_url, new QName("http://web.stuff.com/", "StuffService"));
        Stuff stuffPort = stuffService.getStuffPort();
        try {
            url = new URL("http://localhost:3337StuffService/Stuff?wsdl");

Back to the actual problem, are you using a webservice proxy? A proxy should be able to pick up the URL and port the request.

Increase the time before call diverts to answer phone

Is there anyway in which the amount of time that the blackerry rings for can be increased before the blackberry diverts the call to the voicemail?

I am sorry I do not have the definitive fix, however, I can give one pearl of advice.
By making sure your phone is in ring only or vibrate only will increase the amount of time each will perform prior to rolling over to VM.
Example of this is when in vibrate and ring, your phone will do shortened performances of each before timing out. If you are not relying on vibration to sense your phone, you will loose all the time before you hear the ring tone.

In browser is an applet available that contains a tree. Each tree node have the id. The user can select a tree node and open a crystal report with time chart. This time chart shows values for tree node id(y-axis). The values are measurement values from database. The database table contains:
id_field = tree node id,
value_field = measurement value,
and time_field.
So, my problem is that the user can select more than one tree node. The maximum selection count is 16.
My idea is to do something in the following way:
1) create function ("myFunction")
2) set function as filter
3) add my function (or parameters)to y axis
For example:
filter:
if {@time_field} in {@time_begin_param} to_ {@time_end_param} and {@myFunction}
"myFunction"-function:
if ( treenode_id1 != -1 )
then "if {@id_field} = treenode_id1"
else if ( treenode_id2 != -1 )
then "if {@id_field} = treenode_id1 or {@id_field} = treenode_id2"
When the user selection is changed:
1) in my struts action u2013 create report programmatically
2) set parameter treenode_id1 u2013 treenode_id16 equals user selection
3) open report
My question is what is the correctly way to solve my problem?
And here some concrete questions:
1) When I set 16 parameters for y axis how can I hide unused parameters?
2) When I'm using filter with function is the function in db request or are all data requested and then filtered?
3) Can I add data set to my chart programmatically from my struts action?
4) When it is possible can I add parameters to y axis also programmatically?
5) Is it possible to change data set of crystal report without recreating the report?
Any help is appreciated!

Apps are tied to the Apple ID used to download them, you can not transfer them.

Sometimes you turn off your Bluetooth and then back on and it doesn't reconnect with your phone unless you go into the menu. Either way doesn't help much if someone calls you while you're driving and you realize your iPhone is stuck on headphone input.

How to verify that the user has changed table row data before db update

Hi all,
Iam using Oracle ADF with EJBs.
I have a single selection table that displays rows of data returned from a function of my data control.
The columns of my table are editable so that the user can change the data. The user selects a row, changes the data in one or more columns of the row and saves the data by means of a submit button. The code in the submit button, identifies the row of the corresponding iterator that the user clicked on and updates the data in the database (using the 'mergeEntity' function of the EntityManager)
Before saving the data, I want to put some logic to check whether the user has actually changed some data to avoid unnecessary updates in the database . But for this I need a technique to detect that the user has indeed changed some data in the table row.
One technique I have been using so far was to isolate the iterator row of the table and then query the corresponding row in the database table and compare their values.
Except from dummy, this technique is not efficient if the table contains many rows.
Moreover, in my case I have observed that on successive updates on the same row , the query on the database returns the new values (user changed values) and not the actual values contained in the database table. This means that when the user updates an iterator row the cached data affect also the results of the SELECT statement from the actual database table!!! Isn't this strange ?
Can somebody propose me a neat method to detect when the user has changed the the data of an iterator row ?

The below solution seems overly complicated to me and can not be implemented without a custom screen and/or the use of JavaScript. Also, if your main concern is that a user may accidentally loose all their data because they closed the browser window or the session times out before they hit the save button then this solution does not help you.
There are a couple of simpler approaches you can take here:
# If the use of JavaScript is permissible you can hook into the windows 'onUnload' event, and pop-up a message box which gives the user the opportunity to cancel closing the window and save their case if they haven't already.
# Implement an autosave feature by hooking into one of events provided by web determinations. A simple (but rather naive) way of doing this would be to hook into the OnRenderScreenEvent and call save on the interview session every time the event fires. This guarantees that all the data the user has submitted will aways automatically be saved, thereby removing the need to make sure the user manually saves their data before closing the browser.
Automatically making Web Determinations close a browser window has to be done using JavaScript. However, doing so means that a) it won't work for people who turn off JavaScript, which is commonly done for accessibility reasons b) you'll likely run afoul of the browser's security mechanism (they generally won't let you close a window that you didn't open and some really don't like you doing that at all).

I have been looking at the Unlimited Broadband and Calls contract, and at the moment I have broadband provided by BT and have the phoneline provided by BT, but its not on a contract. I was wondering how I would go about changing to the Unlimited Broadband and Calls contract, do I just sign up for it online, or do I have to cancel what I have now and then buy the contract?
Also, this is going to sound mad, I know, would someone have to come out to set it up?
Before I do change to the Unlimited Broadband and Calls contract, has anyone had/heard of any bad experiences with this contract?

You might find it easier to phone the sales department.
Do not cancel your existing broadband and phone - it will only cause problems. You may even be charged a £30 cancellation fee.
There should be no reason for anyone to visit if you already have BT phone and broadband.
Play it right, and you should be able to get a new Home Hub and a significant discount on what you are currently paying, as if you were a new customer. If you don't ask, you don't get.

8330 Call Forwarding...How do I set the number of rings before calls are forwarded? Right now it instantly forwards my calls but I don't want that. I want to change it so that let's say that if after 5 rings I don't answer the call is forwarded. I've looked everywhere for an answer but have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I am with Virgin Mobile if this makes a difference.

Well, call forwarding is a feature provided by your carrier -- it is not a function of the device. However it works for your carrier is how it works. Actually, from what I understand about call forwarding, it normally is an all-or-nothing circumstance...calls forward to the number you've asked them to be forwarded to, keeping you in a DND status. Regardless, though, if your carrier tells you how it works on their system, there's nothing that the device can do to override that. Unless there is some kind of 3rd party app that would do it, bypassing (somehow) the carrier network CF feature...but I've never heard of such a thing.

Hi,
Would like to know as how to configure drop-down choices that change dynamically based on customer response in Call Scripts / Assessment Scripts of type "Service Request - Survey".
I've read the following from CRM OnDemand pdf but was not able to figure out how to do that.
Call Scripting:
• Reduces agent training time
• Provides drop-down choices that change dynamically based on customer response
• Supports personalized interactions based on existing record data
• Facilitates up-selling and cross-selling
• Does not require third-party software
I don't have a concrete requirement as of now, but was trying to check as how it works. Please guide me if any one has implemented the same.

Hi, Sasi -
The Matrix maps coordinates in your shading dictionary into User Space. That is, the Matrix entry in the Pattern dictionary specifies a coordinate transformation that will be applied to coordinates specified in the shading dictionary.
To take your example, you have an axial shading extending from (rounding off) 109,69 to 109,0. Your Pattern dictionary specifies the Matrix
[ 1 0 0 1 54 53 ]
This transformation matrix corresponds to a scale of 1,1 (that is, no change in scale) and a translation of 54,53. Thus, the actual endpoints for the axial shading will be the User Space positions 163,122 and 163,53 (assuming I’ve added correctly).
As to what values to use for your Matrix, it depends on how you’ve set up your Shading dictionary. If the coordinates you’ve specified are actually where you want the gradient to go, then just use an identity matrix

By the way, are you sure that the Pattern dictionary includes a Matrix entry? I seem to remember (it's been a while since I've looked at Patterns) that the matrix is supplied as an argument to the makepattern operator:

I have recently started having this problem in PSE8. The Adobe workaround
did work, but I don't fancy having to re register each time I use it.
What I have discovered is that it's nothing to do with the image metadata as it occurs before any image is opened.
It SEEMS to only occur if you use file/open with to open an image in the editor - IE start PSE with that command.
If you close elements down, and start it using programs/PSE/Elements (or your desktop shortcut) - the panorama feature magically works.
Each time I've opened the editor 'automatically' using image/open with, it seems to create the problem.
