    SMW3_00 will only enable you to switch off the creation of ALL BUS_TRANS_MSG BDoc's.
    What you need for your requirments is to filter the data that are sent according to sales order type. For upload to ECC, you can do this by by defining criteria fields for the object in tr SMOEAC. For specific details of how this can be done for sales documents, please refer to notes 502037 (valid for new releases also) and 497434.

  • Reducing number of rows displayed causes error in Forms 6

    I created a search page - really just a tabular form displaying 29 records and a scroll bar at the end. Each record has a button adjacent to it. The idea being that the user can search for a specific map in a field and have all records where that map is referenced displayed. When the user clicks the button a trigger takes it to a detail screen where the entire record (and 7 more screens) is displayed. Everything works fine.
    Problem is I want to reduce the number of records displayed to 15, so I select the appropriate block in the object navigator, then change Number of Records Displayed from 29 to 15 and press enter - the number changes in the property palette - but nothing changes in the form.
    When I compile the form I get the following error
    FRM-30356: Too many records displayed for this item.
    Item: MDD_NO
    Block: SEARCH
    Form: MODULE1
    FRM-30085: Unable to adjust form for output.
    If I change the rows displayed back to 29, everything works fine again.
    Any idea of what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you - solved the problem
    The number of items displayed property was set to 29 for each column on that page. As I usually only set the Items Displayed at the Data Block Level - I was suprised to see it set at the Item level.
    Since this was the only page where it was set at the Item level - all my other multiple row pages are set at the Block level - Any idea what I may have done to cause this?

  • Alert Queries and Max lines displayed

    I have a query that I have set as an alert which triggers every monday morning. The query selects about 5000 rows from OITM but the alert only displays the first 90 or so. I also have SAP B1 set to email them to me but I get only the same 90 that show up in the alert window.
    Is there any way to get the full 5000? I assume there is a max rows displayed setting somewhere and I am not seeing it.

    I just read that the max alerts size in B1 is 64K. Is this correct? If so it might explain the problem. That being the case, how can I automatically email my self the results of the query? Should I go outside SAP and use some SQL process? (MS SQL '08)

    Thanks for the reponses. I ended up doing an alert directly from SQL and cut out the middle-man.
    I have to have 5000+ rows because I then give the file to my customers who incorporate my inventory on hand into their ecomm solutions. It is the only way that I have found to give exposure to inventory levels without creating a view for them in SQL.

    I am using CRM 5.0. When I am in CRMD_ORDER Transaction and try to create a new order, I get a pop-up list to choose my transaction types. However it only displays the description of the transaction type and does not give me the transaction ID.
    Is there a way to display both in tow separate columns? For eg TSA  Telesales

    Go to the Expert tab and select the check boxes for :

    That was very useful document that you shared, yes that is correct we can so it this way but there is another way doing it where in if you go to the report attribute section and in that there is Layout and Pagination and under
    that you can fix the number of rows, and over there we can also accept values from page item such as if the page item value changes the number of rows displayed in the report changes dynamically.
    In my report i get only pagination but not a option for layout.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    And also where i can get the links to the similar document that you have shared ?

  • Maximum Number of Table Rows Displayed in Catalog

    Hi Everyone,
    I am working with an instance that has a very large Catalog and only 25 rows are displaying at a time within the Catalog tab of the Administrator interface.
    There doesn't seem to be a personalization set to restrict the number of rows displayed and there's no "Next Page >>" link for the overflow. When you create something new it isn't visible unless it makes it alphabetically in the top 25.
    Can anyone tell me if there's a profile option where the max number of rows is set or what else could be causing the issue?

    Thanks for your quick reply. I've increased the size of H Grid: Catalog to 100 and there's no change (even after bouncing the server).
    I've tested it in another instance and got a "Next X - Y of Y" link at the bottom and a "Previous" link at the top when there has been an overflow. This instance doesn't have that (the overflow objects can only be seen when you do a direct search for them).

    There are over 2500 records in a table and if Max Row Count is set to nothing in report attributes, the user is restricted to view only 500 records. And If Max Row Count is set more than 2500 then user is able to view all records but taking more time to display report.
    What to do to minimise process time and allow user to view all the records. ?
    Pagination Scheme : Row Ranges X to Y of Z (with pagination)
    Number of Rows : 100
    Number of Rows (Item) :     <empty>

    Hi Ven,
    Apex restricts the number of rows returned by a report to 500 by default. You can change this by setting the Max Row Count. Apex does this so that the amount of data returned over the network to the browser is kept to a reasonable amount. The reason it is done this way is because a user in apex does not maintain a stateful connection to the database and as a result, rows returned from a query can not be cached in the database and fetched as required.
    From a usability point of view, I'm not sure why a user would want 2500+ rows returned to a screen. They would have to scroll and paginate to find anything of use and network bandwidth would get chewed up in the process. Why not provide the users with query options so that the number rows returned to the browser is restricted to a more manageable amount? If the users require a full hardcopy of the data then you can handle this with csv and pdf options.

  • Right way to change datagrid row, column, cells background colors in code-behind?

    I have a winform program that I'm upgrading to wpf (I'm new to wpf). The wpf code for the function (SetdataGridBackgroundColors()) is below with the winform code commented out so I can fix it.  I have a datagrid with a Cornsilk background color alteranating
    with LightGreen depending on the content of datetime  cell. If the day portion of the datetime is different then the color changes from one to the other. I used a colorIndex variable because at the end of the month it could go from 31 to 1 and that would
    not work if I use the day directly.
    I tried this line to change the background color:
    optionsDataDatagrid.RowBackground = new SolidColorBrush(Colors.Cornsilk);
    this works but it changes every row. I found this other stuff:

    BTW I'm calling SetdataGridBackgroundColors() after datagrid is been filled with data.
    So... what is the proper way to set each row, column or cell background color in wpf?

    I (also) strongly recommend mvvm.
    Setting values is a particularly bad idea in this case.
    I don't mean to be rude but your explanation of the requirement is kind of vague.
    I would bind solidcolourbrushes.
    Set the properties based on whatever your logic is within the viewmodel.
    You can switch out what each of the brushes holds when the user clicks wherever.
    So you use a highlightbrush when something or other is true.
    That highlightbrush is set to a blue brush when the user clicks left and a red brush when they click right.

  • APEX 3.1 Report pagination style limited by max row count

    I am working on an application using APEX 3.1 and am having trouble keeping the report pagination style as a select list when the max row count for the report is greater than 8000. If I use the select list as the pagination method, the first time that the first page is viewed is fine however all subsequent pages begin to use the "next" and "previous" link method of pagination. This is only occurring when the max row count is higher than 8000 and a select list is used for pagination.
    My question is: is the style of pagination, in Oracle APEX (3.1), limited by the potential number of rows returned for the report? If not, is this a bug with my version of Oracle APEX?

    The source of my problem was that the report referenced a page item for the number of rows. That select list referenced a named List of Values (LOV) that limited the number of rows that the report could display. I removed that reference and my problem disappeared!

  • Writing large xmltype data to UTL_FILE and setting max row per file

    Hey Gurus,
    I am trying to create a procedure (in Oracle 9i) that writes out xml data I have created into several xml files (file would probably be to large for one xml file output...I am doing this for 270,000 rows of data), setting the max rows to 1000 rows per file. I know one would have to create a looping contsruct to do this but I am just not adept enough in PL/SQL to figure it out at the moment.
    So essentially their would be some sort of loop construct and substr process that creates a file after looping through 1000 rows and then continues the count and creates a another file until all 270 xml files are created. Simple enough right...lol? Well I've tried doing this and haven't gotten anywhere. My pl/sql coding skills are too elementary I am guessing. I've only been doing this for about three months and could use the assistance of a more experienced person here.

    I had already tried this but it's not what I want. What your are saying only limits the values in the select list (for example, if I set to 16, I can't choose values higher than 16 in the select list 'Rows' of the search bar).
    I want to limit the number of rows displayed in the interactive report to 16 per page.
    Any other idea?

When I turn off private browsing and refresh the page, everything works again.
    Anyone else having this problem?

    I have got the same behaviour after the last Safari Update to 5.1.3. It seems that Safari now handles some scripts in a new way. If you debug the Google Website, you will see, that there is some Javascript Error, that seems to prevent to write into local cache. After some searching I wasn't able to finde a solution for this problem, other then disabling Javascript while private browsing to prevent the script loading. You then are able to use Google with the old layout. The option to disable JavaScript can be found in the Menu "Developer", wich has to be enabled in Safari in the options first.
    In my opinion this is a bug that is now occuring, because Apple changed something in private browsing and that has to be fixed by Google now, to run again. Or we will have to wait for 5.1.4, as you can read online Apple will change and bugfix the javascript engine in that version, perhaps this fixes the problem as well. I hope so!
    If anyone is in the developer program perhaps you could test this with the beta of 5.1.4 and tell us if it works.
