Changing Scrollwheel Click Functionality
Coming to Mac as a Windows user, I haven't found much use for the widgets dashboard. Naturally, it's pretty frustrating to have the widgets pop up every time I click with the scrollwheel in Firefox. In Windows, scrollwheel clicking automatically opens a link in a new tab. I tried changing the scrollwheel click to in Preferences, but surprisingly nothing is offered under "Keyboard & Mouse." Any advice on changing this preference? Thanks in advance!

I hope that coming to Mac has been as good for you as it has for me. Anyways I don't know of away to assigning "open in new tab to the third mouse button" (aka the button under the scroll wheel). However I may be able to help you with this issue. First I don't use Firefox but in Safari the default for opening a link in a new tab is hold (Command) and left click on the link. I'm assuming that it would be the same in Firefox.
As for turning off the Expose loading when you push that button. Goto while the mouse is hooked to your Mac (System Preferences)/(Expose & Spaces) in the (Expose) tab, change the (Middle Mouse Button) to "( - )" it should be located near the bottom right of the open Preferences window. *The reason that the mouse has to be attached to your Mac before you open System Preferences is because Mac OS X automatically hides the unusable fields.

I am trialing Adobe Captivate 5, with a view to purchasing it, and I have been loving it, but have hit a snag. My Right Click actions are not working except with the web preview. I noted from the manual a lot of restrictions and from reading here I am not able to change AS3 to AS2. Does this mean Captivate 5 does not let you use Right Click options.
I would greatly appreciate your help because I do love this software but if I can't create elearning with multiple Click Boxes and Right Click functionality, I may have to look elsewhere.

I downloaded and unzipped the file you linked. On my work laptop with XP, IE 8, and Captivate 4, it ran perfectly.
On my personal laptop with Windows 7, IE 8, and Captivate 5, it did not run. (I got the JavaScript line 81 error.)
On my personal laptop, I created my own right click project in Captivate 5, published with accessibility turned off, and it would not run (line 81).
I copied my Captivate 5 published files to my work laptop, and it would not run there either.
I don't have any third party toolbars installed on either machine. I'm running Symantec antivirus on my work laptop (where your project worked but mine didn't) and AVG on my personal laptop (where neither project worked.)
Is there something you did in your JS file? Or some little tweak you made in your Captivate project?

Right click function no longer works
Using OSX 10.9.3 on my iMac. Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5, Memory 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Fairly new iMac, 21.5 inch, Late 2013. Just now, my right click function on my mouse does not work. I have checked my System Preferences and the right click is checked under secondary click. I did uncheck it, exit System Preferences, and then come in again and re-checked it, but that did no good.
I did restart my computer last night before I quit for the day because recently I uninstalled Sophos Anti-Virus because it seemed to be caught in a loop that was not finished "cleaning up" but that is only change I have made. Aside from the Sophos acting wonky there were no other issues with the machine last night.
The right click does not work in all programs, not just Finder. How can I get my right click function to work again? I use this function quite a lot and would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!
Royleen WhitePress and hold the Control (Ctrl) key while you click the mouse button. This is identical to right-clicking with a mouse. (Ctrl+click = Right click)
You can try the following:
•Click on and off the 'right click' checkbox in the Mouse System Preferences
•Restart in Safe Mode

How do I copy and paste an image from the internet to Keynote. I have done so successfully in the paste by using the copy and paste right click functions but am unable to do so now. That was about a year ago that I attempted that I was able to do this. Thank you for your help.
Some images are copy-protected.
If all else fails, you can make a screen shot of the image:
With the image visible in your browser, press CMD-Shift-4 and your cursor will change to crosshairs.
Position the cross hairs at one of the corners of what you want to copy and drag to the opposite corner, then release the mouse. An copy of the image will be saved to your desktop.
You can now edit and use this image.
Be sure to respect copyrights.

Mouse right-click function doesn't work in Bookmarks (Mac)
I recently switched from PCs to Macs. No problem downloading Firefox and transferring old bookmarks and other settings, with one exception. With the PCs, when I right-clicked a particular bookmark under Bookmarks I got a series of 12 options (from Open, Open in New Window to Delete, Sort by Name, Properties). I used these a lot to delete bookmarks, change names, alphabetize lists, etc. I can now do most of these things under the Manage Bookmarks setting, but when I right click bookmarks now the new bookmark I click on just replaces the one on screen (ie, the right click does exactly what the left click does). I am using two different mice (Apple Mighty Mouse with Leopard, Microsoft Wheel Mouse with Tiger) and the right click function behaves as expected in other programs. Are these mouse right click Bookmark functions supposed to appear with the Firefox for Mac? If so, any ideas how to resolve my problem?
Can someone explain to me why it's possible in Chrome on Mac, but not on Firefox? This is my 2nd biggest complaint about FF on the Mac, only surpassed by missing favicons in bookmarks. Chrome does both very well.

How to add a symbol to the stage with a unique click function
I created a symbol in the Library and am loading multiples of it based on json data. However, I want to give each one a unique click function based on the json data. For example if you are the 4th symbol, you should change the color of another symbol when clicked. However, if the 5th symbol is clicked, it should be a different color. And so on.
What I would do:
add a class name for each symbol in your json file or on symbol creation.
Then use each class name and assign it a click event.
to assign a unique id or class to symbol you create use:

Note when using the new id make sure you add # in name

Need to change the way Function module exit is called.

I want to know wheather is it possible to change the way a function module exit is called.In transaction IK11 i am using enhancement imrc0001 this function module is called only when clicking the save button. My requirement will be met only when desired result is obtained while clicking ENTER button.Now the desired result are obtained by Clicking SAVE button. As a result only after saving i am able to view. Is there any way to change by clicking Enter button itself we can call the IMRC0001 enhancement. Please guide me.

Each action in the screen have some FCODE(SY-UCOMM) in that exit u can add code when the particular button is clicked then run it or else no need to run.
For Example SAVE has user command as SAV+(SY-UCOMM)
u can restrict it as.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to add loading image when click the paging button to load the data.
I suggest you can use Jquery BlockUI Plugin to show a block image when loding data in paging click event.

Click functionality that counts clicks
Hi there,
I've been trying to figure this out for a while now but haven't gotten anywhere.
I want to be able to click a button in Edge Animate once, have it make a symbol do something, then click it again, and then have the symbol do something different.
Basically I want to be able to count the number of clicks the user does with a variable and then make an if/else based on the number that the count variable is. (Unless there's a better way?)
If anyone has any idea of how to do this as a jumping off point I'd be very grateful. Thank you!!Do you have one symbol with several labels?

If I use iCloud on my iPad, will it change my MobileMe functions on my iMac which uses Snow Leopard. In other words will it disable functions like iWeb on my iMac?
As a follow-up . . . I downloaded and installed Virtual Box, purchased a legal issue of Windows XP (not easy since Microsoft doesn't sell it anymore), installed it, installed Quicken 2009 in "the Box" and then the problems began. Trying to migrate my Quicken data files from my laptop PC to the Virtual Box Quicken program turned out to be the most frustrating thing I've been through for quite awhile. Error after error without any explanation of what I was doing wrong (or not doing) kept me scratching my head and re-reading the VB manual for nearly two days. Today I finally had success and all three of my Quicken accounts are comfortably residing in my iMac and working perfectly (so far . . . knock, knock).
It was well worth the effort because now all I need to do is open VB (about 3 seconds), click open Windows (about 5 seconds) and open Quicken ( <5 more seconds) and I'm ready to go to work.

In Yosemite, Magic Mouse double-click function doesn't work
On my iMac running Yosemite 10.10.2, the double-click function on the Magic Mouse no longer works. So to open a folder, or anything for that matter, I must always do click-control ---and that doesn't work for everything. For example, I can't double click on a character in Glyphs, so this renders Glyphs useless. And so on... I have gone into preferences to see if anything was amiss in the settings, but everything checked out fine. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to wait for the next upgrade for Yosemite? Help! Why we need sepearte Import and Export parameters in Function Module if the Changing Parameters
acts as both import and export parameters.
What is the use of using Changing Parametrs in Function Module.

EXPORT PARAMETERS: When u r passing some value to the function, and the parameter will not be changed in the function, we use export parameter. Example: u pass parameter (a : 10) to a function, even after the function has been executed, value of a will be 10 only.
IMPORT PARAMETER: When u require some value back from the function. u do not provide any initial value to the function. Example : u pass a parameter (b: <blank>) to the function, function returns the same import parameter as (b : 20).
CHANGING PARAMETER: When u pass some value to the function and that function may change that value inside function, then changing parameters are used. Example: u pass parameter ( c: 30) to the function as changing parameter and function modifies this variable and return ( c: 50).
