Changing White Background to Blue

I have about 200 pictures that have a white background that I need to change to blue. Normally I would use the wand, crop it with the pen or do a color selection. The only one that is working is the pen but it is taken way to long and was hoping someone would know on a better faster way to change the white background to blue and possibly even making it a action so it wouldn't take that long.

i'm afraid there's no easy way because of those metallic objects, they're too close to the color of the background.
Use the Magic Wand Tool with a low tolerance(don't go much higher than 10) and the Contiguous checkbox turned on. After you get a rough selection going, select the Quick Selection Tool to get the tougher parts and then select Refine Edge from the Options Bar to finish up the selection.

How to change white background with text to transparent background

Good afternoon,
I have a jpg file (part of our logo) white background with black text and I would like to change it to transparent background and keep the black text (to be able to insert it on a cup image).
I tried to change it in photoshop, however, when I slide the "opacity" and "fill", the text got ligther as well.
Do I need to have the original psd.file to be able to do that, or can you please lead me through with jpg file? (I tried to save the jpg to psd and png, but it did not help.)
I looked on one of your videos, but I could not find one of the features under "Select" tab.
My plan is to recreate the text to have the transparent background if necessary (It would be great if I can avoid that). However, how do I find out which font was originaly used? Does photoshop has this feature, or do I need to go trough each of the font one-by-one?
My last question is, how do I change space between letters (to have them more tight. I am not able to find it.

If you can get teh original PSD file get it, your task will be a lot easier.
I suspect that won't be an option to you.
If you know what fonts are being used, that also would be of benefit to you. In other word remake it using your image as a template.
If it going over an image, then a multiply blend might work for you.
All that fails then you are down to removing the white background. The problem this option is it will not look as good due to the thin lines on the fonts. But essentially, Load the image into photoshop, make sure the layer isnt locked, then try the magic eraser tool on the white background, bam it'll disappear, but leave the white inside the O white you will have to do seperately.
Messing with levels will help you with more of the white. Myself i'd rebuild it using the fonts.

I have been working with an e-learning developer for several
years now to advise her in
my capacity as a statistician on the design of e-learning
materials which rely on Flash
animations and objects. I am not a trained user of Flash.
At my place of work, we use an online sequencing engine
called EROS (Edinburgh
Reusable Sequencer) which facilitates linear progression
through pages of content forming
CAL tutorials and quizzes and the use of many different
question types together with the
use of a range of media including images, videos and Flash
animations.
I would be interested to receive advice on whether it is
possible to add in any features
to previously created Flash objects, and indeed to the pages
including these objects,
which will enable white backgrounds to be overlaid or
replaced by backgrounds of an
alternative colour. The idea is to render the learning
materials more inclusive for
users who are dyslexic without attempting the impossible and
unreasonable in terms of a
reconstruction job.
Whilst reconstruction of the Flash objects is not a pragmatic
option, perhaps some of our
list members are aware of how the above feature can be
incorporated into e-learning
materials retrospectively. I also have some specific
questions in relation to any
possible solution. Is there a feature that can be switched on
or off by the student or
would we need to build in the shaded backgrounds as a
permanent feature? How would the
implementation of the shading work in practice?
For your info, currently, the e-learning developer is using
Adobe Flash 9.

I had a go at the first image, and took about five to ten minutes, but that was without fixing the skin tones that are going to be affected by all that pink light flying around your studio. But the second image looks more of a challenge, and with 600 images to be processed...
You can see how pink the skin tones are against white. The translucent clothes and reflective black shoes, are fairly easily fixed by taking all the red out of the image with a masked H/S layer, but getting those skin tones spot on for 600 images... well I wouldn't want the job.

You can use the NoSquint extension to set font sizes (text/page zoom) and text colors on web pages.

I have trouble reading in Black and White. On my PC I can change the background color (and I am not just talking about for a word or pages document) but for eveything so anything that was a white background I can put in what ever color I like but it still prints in Black and white.. I can't see how to do this on the Macbook air. on my PC I do this in display. Sort of putting colored film over the screen I dont know what to do. Can anyone help?

You may be interested in the 'invert colors' Accessibility feature. This can be invoked by pressing the Control, Option, Command, and 8 keys on your keyboard. This only affects your display, and does not have any affect on printed items.

Is there a way to change the WHITE background color of the photo gallery/COLLECTIONS to BLACK. IPad 4 ios 7

As a Professional Photographer, I chose to buy an IPad 4 for only one reason and that was the amazing color and clarity of the Photo Gallery as a mobile Portfolio.
Originally the background color of the IPad 4 Gallery was BLACK and this facilitated the photos greatly, photos look better and stand out better on a BLACK background. White backgrounds cause a glare eminating from the edges of the photo and cause iris in our eyes to close down, degrading the quality of the photo being viewed.
I updated to ios 7 and now my IPad 4 has a WHITE background, which is unacceptable for viewing photos.
HOW DO I CHANGE the WHITE background on the Photo/Gallery/COLLECTIONS to BLACK?
Apple should ALWAYS give USERS/OWNERS of their products control of such details. IT'S JUST GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Now if I can just get the White Background to STAY BLACK, this might not be as painful as I feared.
My IP4 does lag slightly, but not enough to set fire to it yet.
The gallery/COLLECTIONS/ALBUMS are the most important thing to me.

Can you Change the Background Color of the Book from White.

When I read in the dark my computer screen is so bright it hurts my eyes. Is there a way to go to white letters on black or change the background to grey or another color when reading an epub book in ADE. Some of the reader software I use has a night time option which has the black background and white letters and it is much better. Thanks for your reply (either yes or no way!)

You can tell apple that you'd like it and see if they respond....eventually. (you don't get responses from your feedback mails but they have been known to issue changes that users have asked for, such as the ability to mass delete apps)

Drop-down menus text on white background instead of blue

I installed Firefox 9.0.1 on a new PC running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.
The selected option on the drop-down menus consists of black text surrounded by a thin blue border on a white background. This makes it difficult to see. On the old machine and on my laptop, this [selected option] text appears on a light blue background which is easier to see.
Has something gone wrong in the installation process? Everything else in Firefox appears to be working as before.
Is there a way of getting back the blue background on the selected option of a drop-down menu?

I had this problem. Disabling adblock plus 1.2.2 resolves it. (tools / ad ons)

White background around graphics shows as a blue tint ...

The white background around graphics that contain a drop shadow,shows as a blue tinted region only when printing as a pdf/pdf-x file to color laser printers. Ink jet printers print the page correctly. Since I work in a pc environment, I save pages files as pdf or pdf-x onto a flash drive. When I open the file on a pc in acrobat reader, it shows the white background. The color laser is an HP Color Laserjet 2550PS. I'd like to include the drop shadows and print to the laser, since the inkjets are being phased out.
Any suggestions about the cause or solution to this problem?

It is rediculous,
up to IOS6 the iPhone was a perfect device for someone with low vision, well structured, good contrast and readable fonts.
But things got "improved". What a pitty that Apple has given away that benefit for a lightweight design which reduces ergonomics drastically. Now IOS is SW where design dominates usability.
Yes, you can use larger fonts, yes, you can use fat fonts but that does not change the keyboard layout.
It startet in IOS6 with the update of the keypad for the phone application (thin black keys on a flashing white background) and is continued with the vision unfriendly design from IOS7.
Please, have the flashing white background configurable so a structuring reappears or have the background configurable to white or black.
