Changing WSDL location on deployment

I'm using a layered structure of BPELs. The 'lowest' level of BPEL processes are deployed locally (ease of use), so when I need a BPEL I just drop an Invoke, click on 'Create Partnerlink' and use the WSIL browser to find the needed BPEL. This works just fine. But ... (there's always a but) when I deploy my processes later on, the WSDL is still pointing to 'localhost:9700', so my deployment fails.
Is there any way I can automate this, so the deployment platform will be searched for the right WSDL? Or do I have to change all my processes by hand??

Using dymanic partnerlinks pollutes the business process with unwanted logic.
What is ideally required is an easy way to change the partner endpoints that a deployed process needs. The endpoints I use in development and the endpoints I use in production will be different. Even when set initially, partner endpoints can change later on.

  • Dealing with changing service wsdl locations  in the ESB

    Hi,
    I wonder how you can easily change the WSDL locations for the webservices in the SOAP services of your ESB project. I need this to be able to easily deploy an ESB project on the different OTAP environments.
    I have looked for a solution myself, but till now I must conclude that you need to make a new SOAP service each time the WSDL location changes. Also, you need to make a new xslt mapping file in the routing service that is proxying the SOAP service, because the mapping file also contains/needs WSDL location information. I omit the option to manually edit the source files in my favourite text editior, because this is not want you want by default.
    BPEL contains a wsdlRuntimeLocation parameter for its PartnerLink definitions, which you can use to change wsdl locations during environment change. I hope the ESB also has a comparable option to make environment changes easy...

    Looking at the error-trace, i can see that the ant raises an error during the the validation of the deploymentplanfilename
    I think i'm missing some essential initialization step..Do you know which?

  • HT5467 How to change the location service set up when the icon is not inactive?

    I can not setting up the location services and change individual location service for each application since the icon are all in the dead icon and I cannot change anything. Is there anyway to make those icons in active?

    Here is what I was referring to - when in Control Center, I have the database locations. (sources, targets, OWF etc). Under a database location I selected the connector/location name under Connectors. When I select Deploy Action to Drop the connector/location name will remain. However, if you were to check in the database or the Repository Browser (Locations Report) you will see that the db link is gone. At this point you can safely modify the Locations info in the Connection Explorer (in Design Center). On the other hand, if you want the location to be deleted all together then now you can delete it in the Connection Explorer panel. If you did the prior drop step then at this point all db link info should be gone from the database.

  • How to change the location value after it is registered

    hello,
    I want to change the location (A) to a new schema. From what I am understanding, I need to unregister the old locatin(A) in repository browser, and then re-register it in control center, and change the schema name to my new target.
    Now, I have unregisted A in the repository browser. When I come back to control center, and click the register, everything is grey out which means I cannot change the value (but i need to change the value for service name and schema), except the password value. and on the top, it says 'this location has not been registered. please complete the location parameters'.But I know on the old version, like owb 9.0.5, the grey out means this location is registered. So I am really comfused now. The location is unregisted, why cant I change the value of this location?
    any suggestion will be appreciated.

  • Changing source location within a single mapping

    Is above possible in owb11g, please read the following example.
    I have three source module and three source location defined DEV, TEST and PROD, there is a table oe_order_lines_all that exists in all three places.
    I have defined a mapping m_load_order_line in WH_SALES module (Target Module).
    I developed the mapping using source location DEV, I deployed the code and executed i
    t successfully against DEV source.
    Now I want to configure that same mapping to point to TEST, by changing the location information to TSET, but while configu
    ring the mapping I see only one source location (DEV) in the drop down list box.
    I am assuming that I should somehow see the TEST and PROD location too, so I the second time, I can change it to TEST and re deploy my code to, so I can no
    w use the same mapping to pull data from TEST.
    Hope the above example will give you better understanding of my issue.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi David,
    Some how the data locations tab is blanck in 11g, I have raised a ticket for Oracle support, they are still investigating why that is blanck, are you using 11g ? I can send you the screen shot if you want to have a look. Are you in US ?

  • CS5 Installation - how to change shortcut location

    Using the Adobe Application Manager Enterprise Edition for automating the CS5 packag
    e deployment is used and works fine. But I need to change the location of the shortcuts. Don't know how to do that, installing into the root of ProgramMenu Folder needs to be customised for each product and subproduct. Any Idea?

    Edit the install.db file for each package.
    eg, for Photoshop, it is located in \Build\Setup\payloads\AdobePhotoshop12-Core.
    The table containing shortcut details is "CreateLocAlias" and the field name is "directory"
    Or you can use a custom action (VBScript or similar) at the end of the installation, whichever method you prefer.

  • Where does OSR keep "WSDL Location" field in METAMODEL?

    I'm searching in OSR METAMODEL, the field "WSDL Location" but I don't find out in any table. I made a full data extraction , even the HUGEBLOB fields, but there isn't.
    Thanks

    Matthew,
    thanks for the quick reply but...
    I have not actually ripped a song so this info can not be in the song file.
    Here is what i have going :
    I put in the CD and I have titled each track to give it a descriptive name and
    further added comments to the comments fields.
    I eject the CD.
    When I insert the CD again, all this info shows there again, it's like
    iTunes just knows it's this CD and what the song titles are etc.
    So this song title and commments info couldn't be part of the song file because the songs are still on the CD and iTunes can't make a change on the CD, it's a commercial write protected CD, know what I mean?
    Also, the song title and comments info isn't kept in the "iTunes Music Library.xml" because iTunes shows song titles and comments that are
    not in this file when I search in it with TextEdit. This is making me nuts!

  • Mapping Warning as cause of changing database location

    hello group,
    i am new in working with owb 10.2, so please forgive me trivial questions.
    now to the problem:
    i set up a location for my database, created some mappings and deployed them successfully.
    yesterday i got new connection details for accessing the database, then i registered/unregistered the location in the control center manager (was that right?).
    then i created some new mappings which use tables of the database.
    when trying to deploy the new mappings (action:create) i get this error-message.
    None
    INFORMATIONAL
    ORA-04052: error occurred when looking up remote object [email protected]@SRC_domain

    ORA-02019: connection description for remote database not found
    what does this mean?
    was the way to change the location settings for the database wrong? or can this be achieved?
    can you give me some hints?
    thanks in advance,
    sven

    When you deploy a Connector you are creating a Database Link in the schema you are deploying the connector.
    With the replace option, you drop the database link and create it again, so all the objects referring the database link will be in "invalid" status, and you'll have to deploy them again (normally all the mappings, procedures and functions using the connector-databaselink).
    If you change the location information, sometimes the name of the databaselink created when deploying the connector change, OWB creates the database link using not only the name of the connector, includes some information of the location properties, so the replace option partially fails, because the drop database link sentence fails, the create database link sentence works properly, though, and in the database you have two db-links: the old one and the new one, so if you aren't aware to deploy again the objects using the old db-link to refer to the new DB-Link, they will stay referring to the old one. For example:
    The old information of LOCATION_SOURCE:
    HOST: host1
    PORT: port1
    SID: sid1
    When you deploy the connector MY_CONNECTOR in location LOCATION_TARGET referring the schema SCHEMA_TARGET, you create a DB-Link in SCHEMA_TARGET named SID1@MY_CONNECTOR
    If you change the information of LOCATION_SOURCE:
    HOST: host2
    PORT: port2
    SID: sid2
    And then deploy MY_CONNECTOR again, you create a new DB-Link in SCHEMA_TARGET, named SID2@MY_CONNECTOR, and with the REPLACE option you don't drop the SID1@MY_CONNECTOR DB-Link so all the objects referring to this old DB-Link will be valid, but referring to an incorrect DB-Link.
    Hope I've been able to make myself understand, I've read what I have written and seems a bit confusing. Regards.

    Edited by: user10243788 on Apr 25, 2010 6:12 AMPointing the archive log dest (and/or the FRA) to a new location, or enlarging them, will do no good if you are not performing regular housekeeping on the archivelogs. You will just keep knocking down the same problem over and over.
    If you simply delete the archivelogs at the OS level, the database will never know about it and it will continue to think the destination is full, based on records kept in the control file.
    For regular housekeeping, you need to be doing something similar to this in rman:
    run {
      backup archivelog all not backed up 1 times tag='bkup_vlnxora1_arch';
      delete noprompt archivelog all backed up 1 times to device type disk;
    run {
    delete noprompt obsolete;
    crosscheck archivelog all;
    delete noprompt expired archivelog all;

  • HT1364 I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanen

    I have moved my library to an external hard drive and changed the location of the iTunes media folder in Preferences, but every time I close and re-open iTunes, I have to do it all over again.  How can I make the iTunes media folder change permanent?  I have an older machine with Windows XP.

    I don't believe mounting the hard drive should be necessary, unless you have several external drives and want your computer to recognise them as folders, rather than drives. I've never had to mount a hard drive, ever. If you don't know how to do it, then it shouldn't be necessary now.
    Try this:
    Prepare iTunes so that it can see the external drive.
    Make a note of which drive-letter the external drive has been allocated. (Look in Windows Exploer)
    Look at the file location for a song. Make sure it plays (and therefore that iTunes has found it). Highlight it and select File/Get Info/Summary>Where: and make a note of the drive letter for that song.
    Close and shut down the computer.
    The next time you turn the computer on again, connect the external drive
    Before you start iTunes - check the external drive in Windows Explorer. Is it ready, does it have the same drive-letter that it had last time? Can you go into the drive and see the files on it?
    Once you can, start iTunes. (If the drive lettter has changed, you need to work out why before going any further.)
    If iTunes fails to find your external drive, you need to check where iTunes is looking for your Library.
    Select the same song you checked before (presumably iTunes can no longer find it). Follow the procedure for locating it. You should be able to see where iTunes thinks the file is. It's the drive that counts. Which drive letter is iTunes looking at? Is it the same one that it was previously (which should also be the same one that the drive has now).
    What happens, which step do you have problems with?

  • How do I stop GoLive from changing the location of my CSScriptLib.js file?

    How do I stop GoLive from changing the location of my CSScriptLib.js file?
    I am making rollovers and want my CSScriptLib.js to be in the same folder as my HTML files.
    Every time I edit the rollovers GoLIve recreates the path of the CSScriptLib.js to file:///Users/xxx/Library/Preferences/Adobe/GoLive/Settings8/JScripts/GlobalScripts/CSScr iptLib.js so it won't work when uploaded. I always need to edit my HTML before uploading. All I want it to say is src="CSScriptLib.js" as the default.

    The site file is a database that keeps track of all your assets (and much more), including the scriptLib file. As soon as the page is saved (when you use the site file and it's open) the link will be change to the correct path that will work on the server.
    If you're not using the site file you might as well use a text editor, since most of GL functionality is gone.

  • How do I change the location of the coldfusion-out.log and coldfusion-error.log files in CF10

    When I change the log location in ColdFusion Administrator it changes the location of most but not all the log files.  I have a requirement from my customer to place all log files on a separate partition on the server.  For ColdFusion 9 I was able to modify the registry settings to change StandardOut and StandardErr for the ColdFusion Jrun service.  This does not appear to the case for ColdFusion 10 which now uses Tomcat 7.
    I tried modifying log4j.properties file and was able to relocate the hibernatesql.log, axis2.log, and esapiconfig.log but not the coldfusion-out.log.
    I am running ColdFusion 10 Enterprise Edition on a 64-bit Windows 2008 Server.

    The location of the rest of the ColdFusion logs can be changed in the ColdFusion Administrator.  Go to the Debugging and Logging section, Logging Settings.  There is a form at the top of the page where you can change the log storage location.
