Characteristics attributes showing up in hierarchy

We have a query where we put in a filter for 0Costcenter characteristic.  The filter is a Cost Center hierarchy, which contains a few nodes and each node have multiple cost centers.
Once the query is executed and user goes in to filter the report by specific cost centers, the cost center data is showing with all its attributes (such as source system, profit center, business area, etc.     For example, in the filter selection screen, the following information will show:
Node A - Cost center group A
- 52000 Europe Field Service, Business Area x, Company code 3000, Source system DEV, Object currency USD.....
- 52010 France Field Service, Business Area x, Company code 4000, Source system DEV, Object currency EUR....
- 52020 Germany Field Service, Business Area x, Company code 4100, Source system DEV, Object currency EUR....
We only want the filter selection screen to show:
Node A - Cost Center group A
- 52000 Europe Field Service
- 52010 France Field Service
- 52020 Germany Field Service
If anybody knows how we can 'hide' the attributes of the cost centers from the filter selection screen, I would appreciate it if you can let me know.   Thank you.

Hi,
You can go to the infoobject setting RSD1 and check the help f4 attributes and select only those which you want. this afect for infoobject 0COSTCENTER not for any specific query.

  • Which attribute shows if a user has an expired password?

    DSEE 6.3
    I created my own password policy, and applied it to a single user.
    I would like to know which attribute shows if a user has an expired password, and how do I query that attribute for the user. How would I query the time till expiration as well?
    I am basically looking for example queries to such information.
    thanks,

    My limited experience with this sort of thing is to run a query like the following:
    ldapsearch -1TL -h `hostname` -D 'cn=Directory Manager' -b "dc=<your dc>,dc=com" uid=<uid your choice> pwdAccountLockedTime pwdFailureTime pwdLastAuthTim
    e pwdChangedTime passwordRetryCount nscpentrywsi
    This dumps some helpful stuff. I've noticed ... in our ldap instance that a locked account has the following output:
    pwdAccountLockedTime: 000001010000Z
    I don't know why it shows up that way ... but it's something I can key on and search for to find locked accounts. Not necessarily an indication that a password has expired, of course, but sort of interesting to me. An account can be locked for other reasons obviously.
    I think pwdChangedTime might be what you want assuming you know what the password expiration time is set to ...

  • How to show the structure/hierarchy of every Sharepoint Online site as a side bar? (Office365)

    Hi,
    I need to show the structure/hierarchy of every site in my site collection on masterpage (ie. side bar).
    My purpose:
    1. Help user can visualize which sites are they
    2. User can know what's the parent site & subsite
    3. User can easily navigate from sites to sites.
    Apart from using third party tools( like MySharepoint Sites by QuePort), is there any way to achieve this? Or do you have any other third party tools to recommend?
    Thanks,
    Elliot

    To achieve your goal, the feature of SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure needs to be enabled first. The following steps are for your reference:
    1. Open the site collection, click the gear icon in the upper right corner, then click
    Site settings.
    2. On the Site Settings page, click Site collection features
    under Site Collection Administration, locate SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure, and click
    Activate.
    3. Go back to the Site Settings page, click Navigation under
    Look and Feel, select Show subsites in the Global Navigation section, and click
    OK.
    4. Go to the sub sites, click the gear icon in the upper right corner->Site settings->Naviagtion-> select
    Show subsites in the Global Navigation section-> click
    OK.
    Or
    1. Click Site Settings.
    2. Click Tree view under Look and Feel.
    3. Select Enable Tree View.
    4. Click OK.

  • How to make Attribute Change run alignment & Hierarchy changes in Aggregat

    Hello
    I want to understand that How to make Attribute Change run alignment & Hierarchy changes in Aggregate?
    I posted previously the same question but there were not good answers and i was not able to understand clearly .....
    If there is Process chain XXY which makes Attribute change run for Master Data 0SPELLING ?
    Now there is Aggregate TRT which includes :
    0SPELLING , Fiscal Period , Purchase Product, Purchase Category ?
    Now pls answer following question ?
    1) Does the Process Chain XXY which makes only attribute change run alignment for 0SPELLING , Will this process chain automatically do the Change run alignment for 0SPELLING in Aggregate TRT ? YES or NO
    2) If Yes, then we are just suppose to do Roll up for Aggregate TRT after Process chian XXY completes and finish job ?
    3) If No, then what steps are suppose to be DONE so as to make sure that Aggregate TRT has new values and perfect values for 0SPELLING ?
    Please answer and coorect if i have any wrong question....

    for e.g.
    u have 0spelling whicha has attributes x,y and z on day 1 with 10 records
    so do ur aggregates on day1 with same values
    now on day2 u had new values of attributes y,z,s,d and new hierarchies and so u add new records
    with data load u will load the data with version M of modified and is not available for reporting
    If u do attribute change run then this modified version is activated to A i.e. active version .
    It will also do the change run alignment for Aggregate for new attribute values and new hierarchy values for aggregate.
    now in order for this data to be available for reporting u will need to do the roll up of aggregate.....
    if u roll up aggregate before attribute change run , new data is not avaialable for reporting
    if u roll up aggregate after attribute change run, then data is available for reporting
    if u dont roll up aggregate eventhough new data is in dataprovider, still new data will not be available for reporting.

  • UI shell task list: Showing a tree hierarchy in Regional Area

    Hi,
    We have a requirement where we want a tree to be displayed in the menu model as task list links and clicking on any node in the tree should open up a task flow in the local area.
    Given below is one example, in the task list in the UI shell (Regional Area) and the tree should also appear as a link and on clicking any of the nodes should call a task flow with the context getting passed.
    A
    B
    C
    Please let me know if you have any idea on how to achieve this functionality.
    Thanks,
    Rakesh

    Hi,
    I can't to this time share the whole document or sample. However, the way to do this is quite simple. The document I pointed you to actually contains the soluion (though not in code)
    1. Create a managed bean with method for lauching each of the task flows you want to launch (e.g. openCreateDepartmentBTF, openUpdateEmployeesBtf).
    2. The managed bean method then uses the the TabContext as shown in the example below
    //clicking the link in the customer tree or using the context menu
        //opens the selected customer orders task flow in a new tab in the
        //UI Shell template
        public void openCustomerOrdersTab(ActionEvent actionEvent){
          //the tree node for customers is a command link
          UIComponent link = (UIComponent) actionEvent.getSource();
          //the command link as custom attributes defined to pass arguments
          //to the task flow. The customerName attribute is a display string
          //to show as the tab title
          String customerName = (String) link.getAttributes().get("customerName");
          //the task flow requires the customer ID as a query parameter
          Object initialQueryArgument = link.getAttributes().get("initialQueryArgument");
          //arguments must be passed in a HashMap to teh task flow to be generic. The UI Shell tab
          //context class is passed implicit
          HashMap taskFlowParameters = new HashMap();
          taskFlowParameters.put("initialQueryArgument", initialQueryArgument);
          taskFlowName = "/WEB-INF/customerOrdersCRUD/customerOrdersCRUD-btf.xml#customerOrdersCRUD-btf";
          //call a private method that accesses the TabContext class to open a new tab
          this._launchActivity(customerName+" Orders", taskFlowName, taskFlowParameters, true);
          this.showInnerToolbar();
        }3) Create the tree similar to
    <af:tree value="#{bindings.AllCountries.treeModel}" var="node"
         selectionListener="#{bindings.AllCountries.treeModel.makeCurrent}"
          rowSelection="single" id="t1" autoHeightRows="35">
          <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
                  <af:commandLink id="cl4" text="#{node}"
                                               rendered="#{node.hierTypeBinding.viewDefName == 'oracle.summit.model.views.CustomerVO'}"
                                               actionListener="#{tabShellLauncher.openCustomerOrdersTab}"
                                               clientComponent="true">
                                              <f:attribute name="initialQueryArgument"
                                                                             value="#{node.id}"/>
                                              <f:attribute name="customerName"
                                                                 value="#{node.name}"/>
                        </af:commandLink>
             </f:facet>
    </af:tree>                                                    If you need different command links for different nodes in teh hierarchy, you can add them all and then set its rendered property to
    rendered="#{node.hierTypeBinding.viewDefName == 'oracle.summit.model.views.CountryVO'}"
    In the above sample, the command link only renders if the VO is CountryVO in the specified package

  • Show 2 level hierarchy in Managed Navigation menu(Current Navigation) in SharePoint 2013

    We have enabled Managed Navigation in SharePoint 2013 Publishing Site. Now when a user browses a page we want to show the current page siblings are its parent links in the Managed Navigation. Right now its showing only current page siblings in managed navigation.
    Is there any way to show current page parent links in Managed Navigation menu?
    For example I have a term set enabled for managed navigation with following terms:
    Level1
        Level 1.1
            Level 1.1.1
            Level 1.1.2
            Level 1.1.3
    Level 2
        Level 2.1
            Level 2.1.1
    Level 3
        Level 3.1
    Level 4
        Level 4.1
    Now if a user is on page Level1.1.1 then Current Navigation should show following hierarchy in using Managed Navigation :
    Level 1.1
        Level 1.1.1 -> This node will be shown as selected
        Level 1.1.2
        Level 1.1.3
    Level 2.1
    Level 3.1
    Level 4.1
    Is the above behaviour possible by doing any out of box configuration or using SharePoint designer?
    Thanks,
    Anna Jhaveri

    Ha i was given the same task by my client but they wanted it to be done in client side rather than creating new user control and inheriting from actual control.
    i used Jquery and css to achieve staticlevel 3+  left navigation in sharepoint 2013. first of all let me explain the structure i had created.
    HR department
     -->Level 1
    ---->Level 1.1
    ------>Level 1.1.1
    ------>Level 1.1.2
    -->Level 1.2
     (same as above structure)
    all i did was setting up the staticlevel ="2" and dynamiclevel="3"
    so this would make left navigation with two level  and remaining of its sub sites as flyouts
    Part-1:
    so i used Js to convert all the flyout(dynamic class ) to static $(function(){
    $("ul.dynamic").removeClass('dynamic').addClass('static');$(".dynamic").removeClass('dynamic').addClass('static');  $(".static").removeClass('dynamic-children'); $("#zz12_RootAspMenu > li:nth-child(n) > ul").removeClass('dynamic-children');
    $("leftnavigation ID"> li:nth-child(n) > ul > li.static > ul").removeClass('dynamic-children');              $("leftnavigation ID" > li:nth-child(n) > ul > li.static > ul > li:nth-child(n) > ul").removeClass('dynamic-children')
    $(".ms-navedit-flyoutArrow").removeClass('dynamic-children').removeClass('ms-navedit-flyoutArrow');
    by using this script all the dynamic classes get convert to static. after getting rid of classes call "dynamic" and "dynamic-children"
    second part :
    now we have convert all the dynamic level to static (just look wise) but functionally  its behaviors is like flyout menu items.so the following js adds the static behavior classes so it just functions like static menu
    $(function()
    var path = window.location.pathname;
    path = path.replace(/\/$/, "");
    path = decodeURIComponent(path)
    $("left nav ID" > li > ul > li.static.selected > ul > li > a").each(function () {
    var href = $(this).attr('href');
    if (path.substring(0, href.length) === href)
    $(this).closest('li').addClass('selected');
    $(this).removeClass('ms-core-listMenu-selected').addClass('selected').addClass('ms-core-listMenu-selected');
    else
    $(this).closest('li').removeClass('selected');
    $(this).removeClass('selected').removeClass('ms-core-listMenu-selected');
    How above code works:
    it  takes the url path of current page and compare it with the all the anchor elements href ,so when it finds the match it would go insert the static level class  like "selected" in the <li> and "ms-core-listMenu-selected" in the <a>
    tag so  they function like static.
    so i have done it for 4 levels so i had to put one more function as shown above to target and read <a> tag href values for 4th level and compare it with current page url.
    i didn't explain in detail in here, i'll be writing up again on this issue on  my blog with screen captures soon.
    Till then you can leave comments and questions.
    Disadvantage :this doest work if you have anything listed other then Subsites(pages,list,libraries) in left navigation.

  • How to do the new created field in User Attributes, show in Manager GTC

    Hello Guys,
    I have a Connector GTC working perfectly. Now I created a new field in User Attributes and I need make this field appear in "Modify Connector Configuration" of "Manage Generic Connector" without having to create a new Connector.
    If I create a new Connector this field is showed normally, but this connector has a lot of mapping between the existing fields, I need only that a new field is displayed.
    How to I do this?
    Thanks

  • Request having function group released but function module attribute shows not released

    Hi experts,
                   I am a beginner.
                  There is a transport request in which my function group and other objects were present . This transport request and its task were released . But if i check the attributes section of the function module that is present in that function group , it shows not released .
    Is there some problem ? did the function module not get released with its group? It wasn't showing anywhere in the request even though i had added it during creation.
    Here is the image :
    Thanks,
    Unnati

    Hi,
    Those two meanings of 'released' are unrelated. Don't worry about it.
    Also, a function module sometimes does not explicitly appear in a transport request, if the function group is already in there.
    cheers

  • Excluding a org unit from showing in the hierarchy

    (Nakisa OrgChart 4.1, Live)
    Hello again,
    I'm trying to exclude an org unit from showing in the org hierarchy. I was thinking that the 'Data filter' option in the org chart set up would serve this purpose.
    I tried several ways (id below is the actual ID of the org unit I'm trying to hide):
    ORGUNIT_ID <> 'id'
    ORGUNIT_ID != 'id'
    ORGUNIT_ID IS NOT  'id'
    I did the above with and without quotes, single or double.
    None of them seem to work. The data filter seems to be ambiguous at best. Will I have to hardcode this in the data element xml (or worse, in the function module) for this to work?
    Thanks,
    M.E.

    Hi Stephen,
    Yes this is what the org unit I want to exclude is called. I'm actually wondering when the filtering is supposed to happen. Is it at the extraction of the data in the FM? I took a look at the FM  /NAKISA/OC_OU_STRUCTURE and I could not see a filtering logic anywhere in the code. I saw some authority checks though, and I'm wondering if the following method would work:
    - in the SAP side, exclude the org unit from the area of responsibility of the RFC user (an RFC user is used in all the data connections)
    - modify the parameters of the /NAKISA/OC_OU_STRUCTURE FM so that an area of responsibility check is performed (parameter AOR_CHECK set to 'X') on the RFC user (parameter IM_UNAME set to the RFC User's uname).
    What do you think?
    Thanks

  • Attribute Dimension or Alternate Hierarchy

    Hello,
    We have a sparse dimension that has probably around 1500 members. We need to report on these members in different views then the current hierarchy holds. Is it best to create an alternate hierarchy with these 1500 members or to tag these members with various attributes and then use the attribute in the different reports. I did some research and found that attribute dimensions often have slow FR performance since they are dynamic, however, I feel like 1500 shared members is a lot. Any tips, tricks, advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    I don't think 1500 shared members is a concern in and of itself (unless you are putting them all under one dynamic parent!). You are correct there could be some response time impact with attribute dimension retrievals, but then shared members under dynamic sparse parents may present similar concerns.
    I would encourage you to think about the structure and navigability desired. You should keep in mind that shared member rollups can only be used in reports consistent with the dimension they are in. One advantage of attribute dimensions over shared rollups is that, only with attribute dimensions, can you cross-tab report against the base dimension. If your users care about being able to see certain alternate groupings across the main dimension, then I would suggest going with attribute dimensions.
    There are other considerations. For instance, adding a large number of shared rollups in your BSO anchor dimension (the physically last dimension with hierarchy), you put more demand on Essbase calculator cache.
    Out of time for now. Just sharing some initial thoughts I hope you will find helpful.

  • Start with Connect by: Showing the whole hierarchy even if child parameter

    11g
    Hi There,
    In our case the manager_id i= employee_id for the top level manager. So when I run the sql, it eliminates the top level manager and shows the output for the next level onwards.
    For the regular start with connect by option on the employee table the query used is
    select case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0 when level = 1 then 1 else -1 end as status,
           level,
           First_name as title,
           NULL  as icon,
           EMPloyee_id as value,
           First_name as tooltip,
           NULL  as link
    from EMPLOYEES
    start with Manager_id is null
    connect by prior EMPLOYEE_ID = Manager_id
    order siblings by First_namenow this will show the hierarchy and level starting with managers. Now if we provide the "start with Manager_id = 171" then since 171 is not a manager no rows are returned. So for this we can use something like
    start with manager_id =171 or employee_id = 171However, the output would be only the employee record since 171 is the last child.
    The requirement we had was that, Irrespective of the value entered, whether ultimate parent or ultimate child the output should still show the top down hierarchy. starting with that persons ultimate manager.
    So for example if there are two employees, 170 and 171 and 170 is the manager of 171
    If in this query I use Start with manager = 170. It will show me the manager and the child records.
    However, if I use start with manager = 171 or employee_id = 171 then it will only show me only the child record. I want it to show me both the manager and employee records. i.e all the levels
    I hope that make sense!
    Thanks,
    Ryan

    Edited by: ryansun on Dec 13, 2012 1:59 AM

    Hi Alberto,
    I was using this query and the output is correct. Except for one thing, the nature of our data is such that the top most manager in this case has "Manager_Id" as null so we can use "start with Manager is null"
    But in our case the manager id for the top most manager is the same as his employee id.
    So If I modify the query, it then does not show the "top most managers record"
    WITH entire_tree AS
        SELECT *
          FROM employees
         START WITH manager_id = 171
       CONNECT BY PRIOR employee_id = manager_id
       UNION
        SELECT *
          FROM employees
         START WITH employee_id = 171
       CONNECT BY employee_id = PRIOR manager_id
    SELECT CASE WHEN CONNECT_BY_ISLEAF = 1 THEN 0 WHEN LEVEL = 1 THEN 1 ELSE -1 END AS status
          , LEVEL
          , first_name AS title
          , NULL AS icon
          , employee_id AS VALUE
          , first_name AS tooltip
          , NULL AS link
       FROM entire_tree
      START WITH manager_id = 100
    CONNECT BY PRIOR employee_id = manager_id
      ORDER SIBLINGS BY first_name;the only change I made is from
    Start with manager_id is null
    to
    start with manager_id = 100Basically, in this case the manager_id of the top most manager is the same as his employee id. So how can we have that condition incorporated instead of checking for null.
    Thanks,
    Ryan

  • Attribute Change Run for Hierarchy

    Dear experts:
    we are trying to create a process chain for a hierarchy. When we included "Execute InfoPackage" into process chain, it automatically dragged other 2 steps into process chain as well, which are "Save Hierarchy" and "Attribute Change Run".
    My Question is when we looked into "Attribute Change Run", the obj type is "Execute InfoPackage" instead of "Hierarchy". Shouldn't we choose hierarchy as object type when operating Attr change run??
    Besides, I checked SAP document. It is said the "Attr Change Run" is only necessary when the hierarchy occurs in aggregates. Can anyone please explain to me what that means.
    Thank you very much
    Regards
    SzuFen

    Haven't really looked at the object types in the process chain (we're still using event chains here for the most part), but I would be inclined to leave it as, and only change it if you have a problem.
    The process chain tool drags steps into the chain by default, e.g drop and build index, attr change run.  That doesn't mean you have to keep them in the chain.  If you do not have hierarchies in your aggregates, you could remove the step.  Now of course, the burden falls on you to remember to add it if you ever create an aggregate with a hierarchy in it.
    Of course the next would be, if most of your queries use a hierarchy, you would probably want the hierarchy in the aggregate, otherwise the aggregate isn't going to be used.

  • Cube attribute shows data in capital letters

    I have a strange issue. I am using SQL Server 2000 analysis services cube. The backend is in in Oracle. For one of the cube attribute, the data in backend are "Centro", "Lima", "Norte" and "Sur".
    But in cube, the "Lima" is appearing as "LIMA" while other data are showing correct as "Centro", "Norte" and "Sur". The strange part is "Lima" is shown as "LIMA" in cube. The datatype
    of this attribute is Char.

    SQL Server 2000 was out of support since April,2013. I suggest you can try to install SQL Server 2005 or later version.
