Check amount of data and tablespace

Hi,
in RSA3 I can check the extraction of a datasource. The thing is that I cant find out how much data really will come up in BW.
You have to select the number of data records there.
Is there another transaction that will show me exactly for a datasource how many records will come up in BW when starting full upload in the infopackage and show me how much space should be available in database?
And is there a transaction that will show me how much space is actually available in database to avoid an overflow?

Hey,
I think the only transaction that will help you to see how many records will come in a transaction is SE16. You just have to know how the extractor work and which tables are selected. E. g. if you build up data for 2LIS_05_Q0NOTIF than you can go to table QMEL to see how many data is there. It is not always so simple because not every record from a main table for a datasource is always selected. But normally it should give you a good direction.
Find main table for datasource and check in SE16.
Do learn about database go to DB02 or DBACOCKPIT. There you can find information about the whole database and also single tables.
I think to say in advance how many space is necessary for a datasource this is a little bit difficult. normaly you don't catch all fields of one table, other fields are enhanced. It also depends on your target structure. PSA would be simple, for DSO you have active and change log table to consider and InfoCube has a star schema with different tables where it mainly depends on your modelling.
Maybe it can help you to search for topic BW sizing in SDN.

Instead of rebuilding the (whole) standby, you take an incremental (from SCN) backup from the Primary and restore it on the Standby. That way, if, for example
a. Only two out of 12 tablespaces are affected by the import, the incremental backup would effectively be only the blocks changed in those two tablespaces (and some other changes in system and undo) {provided that there are no other changes in the other ten tablespaces}
b. if the size of the import is only 15% of the database, the incremental backup to restore to the standby is small

when check is cleared using FCHR, Check Amount is not moving From Bank Sub A/c (Checks Issued A/c ) to Bank Main A/c.
Check Amount is clearing and posting to same Bank Sub A/c. I have checked all the setings are fine (Posting Rules also fine).

What java collection for large amount of data and user customizable record

I'm trying to write an application which operates on large amount of data. I want user could customize data structure (record) from different types of variables(float,int,bool,string,enums). These records should be stored in some kind of Array. Size of record: 1-200 variables; size of Array of those records: about 100000 items (one record every second through whole day). I want these data stored in some embedded database (sqlite, hsqldb) - access using simple JDBC. Could you give me some advise how to design thoses data strucures. Sincerely yours :)

This solution makes me possible to write collection of CParamI:

Is this correct solution?. My main problem is to get data from the collection. I have to check its data type using getType() method of CParamI interface.

If you have the requirement that you have to be able to configure on the fly, then what I've done in the past is just put everything into data pairs into a list: something along the line of: (<Vector>, <String>), where the Vector would store your data and String would contain a data type. I would then make a checker to validate the input according to the SQL databypes that I want to support on the project. It's not a big deal with the amount of data you are talking about.
The problem you're going to have is when you try to allow dynamic definition, on the fly, of data being input to a table that has already been defined. Your DB will not support that, unless you just store that data pair--which I do not suggest.

IPhone 5 suddenly using an excessive amount of data and my phone usage has not changed so why am i going over data 3 times this billing cycle?

My iphone 5 has been hogging data like crazy the past two months. I have not used my phone anymore than I normally do, in fact I would say I use it less often than normal. I have gone over the family share data limit of 15GB three times this billing cycle. The first time i had 121500 MB of data used. I thought it was rhapsody that was causing all of the data usage but my sister uses rhapsody on her iphone 5c and she hasnt gone over at all! So its not that. I decided I would turn OFF all cellular usage on apps like facebook, instagram, rhapsody, twitter, even MAIL! I am basically not able to use my phone outside of my house now which is NOT okay! I took screen shots of the cellular usage and at one point after I had completely shut off celluar data on all apps, i checked my cellular usage and DNS services, Mapping services, Data and syncing all had racked up data! I hadnt used any of those services! I also turned off all location settings and maps and siri! phone is still using data like crazy!
I saw in recent posts about this issue that Apple replaced peoples iphones because it was a bug in the phones software that was causing the data to go haywire! I have an upgrade but I dont want to use it if I dont have to! I also dont want to get another iphone 5 if this problem is happening with iphone 5's. I have not seen very many complaints about iphone 5c so that might be the route I go.
I also restored my iphone last night cause I saw a discussion which said to try that. So far it is still using data and im on wifi!
Any suggestions as to what to do now?

since Friday my iPhone 4 startet using huge amounts of mobile data and rapidly wastes battery lifetime (50% in 3 hous!) It also gets quite warm even when I don't use it at all.
I suspect an app does this, because in flight mode battery is ok.
How do I find out which app is to blame without having to uninstall all apps?

How to check image GPS data and get image file from image field

Hello,
I have some trouble and want to fix this problem.
1. I want to validate image file before its attached in image field about the image file have a GPS data or not. Have any way that can be check about image has contained a GPS data?
2. After validate image and PDF form is upload to the server. I want to get image file that embed in image field, because I have to extract image from PDF form and store this image in project image folder. If this topic can be fix by code script please give me some example code.

About my (1) question, My image fields have set to be a embedded data and I try to test many example script of image fields.I can get image content type, image size. But that not work when I used ImageField1.desc.embeddedHref.value. It's response as "Unknown Embedded URI". Therefore, image field is and embedded data. How can I access filename?
(2) In that forum. As I see, his problem is about how to automate change image field with href image file. But I want to extract an exist embedded image in PDF form to normal image file with original metada (such as extract image filed to .JPEG with GPS data. Same as before attached in PDF form.). There has any concept or solution in this problem?

How to save large amount of data and memory management

I prepared a vi to take measurement of temperature and pressure simultaneously from Agilent 34970A with 34901A. The sampling rate is 1 sample/per second for each channel (20 temperature channel and 2 pressure channel (current). The device has 20 channels and most probably the test will lasts 2 days. So, it means 86400 sample per day totally. Could the attached vi do this task? I really do not know how the "write to text file.vi" works and use the memory of the pc. And after collecting all data, could I export these data to microsoft office excel to analyse safely? And I really do not know can I work this vi without interrupting. is it possible? I am also open for all other suggests relevant the vi, too. And I wonder that is it possible to build a standalone application to take measurements from DAQ devices (here Agilent 34970A-34901A) by a pc without labview?

What I meant by check for an error while measuring is the following:
you start the program
If one of your Agilent VIs returns an error (maybe bad initialisation or so) you will still try to continue to measure.
Even if it is not working, you still continue measuring. Instead you could also check at the end of each loop if an error occured, like this:
this will only look for an error and stop right away. If you encounter typical errors with apperatus you might want to handle it. A sufficient way to do so might be a state machine that just re-initializes the setup if an error occurs and then continues with its task. Why is iPhone all of a sudden using insane amounts of data, and how do I make it stop? Verizon useless -- laughing all the way to the bank, no doubt.

Got replacement iPhone from Asurion (%$&@ing rat b@stards that they are). All of a sudden, phone using 1G of data every other day. Verizon is useless and can't help me figure out WHAT is using this data. Roaming is off. No new apps. What could be causing this?

now i am posting of business transaction from apl2009 to mar 2010 in last period i am posting of transaction i am giving document date 31.03.2010 posting date 05.04.2010 ledger a/c number 1234 amount value 1000 Rs.giving all the details i will post the document. This amount value is affected based on the document date or posting date can u tell me briefly explain.

Document date is just for the purpose of record, or you can treat it as an invoice date.
SAP always check with posting date and see whether the periods are being opened for that particular date or not.
Therefore, Posting date is the main date when posting the entry. The entry will get posted on document date only. This is nothing do with the document date and both may differ.

The posting date entered is not within one of the permitted posting periods (current period/previous period).
This can be due to one of two reasons:
The correct current period has not been set in the system.
For the system, the first of the entered periods is the current period. At the beginning of a new period, your systems administrator must change the current period in the material master record, using the function "Shift periods". This has not yet been done.
You have entered a wrong date in the field "Posting date".
Procedure
Check the posting date and correct it if necessary. If your input is correct, inform your systems administrator that the "period shifting" (period-end closing) process has not yet been completed. Copied from M8022</b>

Go to OMSY and check the periods are current peiods or not to ur comp code?
If it is not the current period.
close the posting period by going to MMPV.
let us say comp code EG, YEAR-2006 PE-6
so you have to close the posting periods for all months till this month.
from comp code-EG
To comp code- EG
period-7
fiscal year-2006
repeat the same but with period-8(month) 9,10,11,12,
and do the same for 2007 too till you get the current month in OMSY T-Code.
you need to do close the period end of every month.

I am trying to open a core file but I did not have some .o files linked in the executable. Therefore I compiled them and tried to open the core file. I got this warning:

One problem is that some debugging information (stabs and dwarf)
is left in the .o files, and not copied into the a.out.
This problem will go away when we move from stabs to dwarf.

It might be useful to have an option to "force" dbx to read
stabs from a .o file that is not the same as the one in the a.out,

Updating start date and end date at header level for a contract

As per the requirement I have to create a contract and assign the start date and end date to the contract.
I am using BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA for creating a contract. I am assigning value for start date and end date for header data of contract in fields
-CT_VALID_F and CT_VALID_T of CONTRACT_HEADER_IN import parameter and also setting the corresponding indicator in CONTRACT_HEADER_INX parameter.
The BAPI executes successfully and does not return any error but when I check the start date and end date for contract in va43 the values are not assigned.
I also want to update the start date and end date for contract in other case for which I am using BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE and passing date values to the same fields as those create but it give me an error while executing. The error is as follows:
Field 'GUEEN' cannot be changed, VBAKKOM 2000000162 ready for input.
Can anyone suggest what can be done for update the date values?
