Check ztable in ME21N create purchase order

Hi,
I maintain one ztable for price comparision ( comparative statement) is completed or not for particular RFQ Collective.
if price comparision completed when Flag 'C' is updated in ztable for that particular Collective No.
So, my requirement  is : i want check that flag in ME21N, if price comparision is completed then only PO will be raised, otherwise
PO Not generated.

there is a very well known BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. You can use this BADI to perform additional checks during PO creation. Please read Rules of Engagement of this forum and search before asking you questions.

  • ME21N Create Purchase Order with reference to previous Purchase Order

    Hello Expert,
    Previously have been using Purchase Info Records for reference when creating Purchase Orders using ME21N.  We then have deleted the Pricing Condition in the Purchase Info Record using ME12.  Now when we are trying to create a new Purchase Order with the same values (Vendor, Material, Plant and Storage Location), the transaction code ME21N automatically fetches the previous values of the Pricing Condition as if it was cached.  I remember of studying this in the MM academy but I am not sure how to disable it. 
    This error only happens when we are creating the first Purchase Order after the deletion, for the second Purchase Order, error will be prompted to the user saying that the Pricing Condition could not be found. 
    I would like to ask where in configuration can I delete this cache behaviour or is that any work around for this.

    I found the "Update Prices" function in the Conditions Tab of the Item Details helps to refresh the data and fetch the new information from the Purchase Info Record.  I would like to ask is there anyway to provoke this function automatically everytime when a user runs the transaction ME21N.

    We are getting this dump when try to create purchase order from ME21N;
    Our system ECC 6.0 and IS-AFS (Apparel & Footwear Solution) V600 component has installed,

         There are several possibilities:
         Error in the ABAP Application Program
         The current ABAP program "SAPLMCS4" had to be terminated because it has
         come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
         or
         Error in the SAP kernel.
         The current ABAP "SAPLMCS4" program had to be terminated because the
         ABAP processor detected an internal system error.
    What can you do?
         Note down which actions and inputs caused the error.
         To process the problem further, contact you SAP system
         administrator.
        Using Transaction ST22 for ABAP Dump Analysis, you can look
        at and manage termination messages, and you can also
        keep them for a long time.
    Error analysis
        An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
        The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND', was not
         caught in
        procedure "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL" "(FORM)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
         clause.
        Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
        exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
        The reason for the exception is:
        On account of a branch in the program
        (CALL FUNCTION/DIALOG, external PERFORM, SUBMIT)
        or a transaction call, another ABAP/4 program
        is to be loaded, namely "RMCMS431 ".
        However, program "RMCMS431 " does not exist in the library.
        Possible reasons:
        a) Wrong program name specified in an external PERFORM or
           SUBMIT or, when defining a new transaction, a new
           dialog module or a new function module.
        b) Transport error
    How to correct the error
        Check the last transports to the R/3 System.
        Are changes currently being made to the program "SAPLMCS4"?
        Has the correct program been entered in table TSTC for Transaction "ME21N "?
        If the error occures in a non-modified SAP program, you may be able to
        find an interim solution in an SAP Note.
        If you have access to SAP Notes, carry out a search with the following
        keywords:
        "LOAD_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND" "CX_SY_PROGRAM_NOT_FOUND"
        "SAPLMCS4" or "LMCS4F10"
        "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL"
        If you cannot solve the problem yourself and want to send an error
        notification to SAP, include the following information:
        1. The description of the current problem (short dump)
           To save the description, choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        2. Corresponding system log
           Display the system log by calling transaction SM21.
           Restrict the time interval to 10 minutes before and five minutes
        after the short dump. Then choose "System->List->Save->Local File
        (Unconverted)".
        3. If the problem occurs in a problem of your own or a modified SAP
        program: The source code of the program
           In the editor, choose "Utilities->More
        Utilities->Upload/Download->Download".
        4. Details about the conditions under which the error occurred or which
        actions and input led to the error.
        The exception must either be prevented, caught within proedure
        "TMC2F_FROUT_CALL" "(FORM)", or its possible occurrence must be declared in the
        RAISING clause of the procedure.

    in me21n (trans. for creating purchase order) I've got this message:
    Material not subj. to inventory mgmt. in plant 1302 (Pl. check your input)
    Message no. ME124
    Diagnosis
    There is no data for plant 1302 (plant/storage location stock view) in the material master record.
    Procedure
    Enter a different material or - if possible - a different plant.
    Or maintain the missing view in the material master record.
    Could you please let me where is problem???
    I'm trying to do "creating purchase order" for material 000000-1331-894 and plant 1302.
    For another plant 5600 "it" works OK. I' ve checked purchasing in mm03 and compared "right" and "wrong" plant but I didn't find difference in mm03 for both of materials :(((

    Just check in SPRO for Material types whether u have set Quantity ahd Value field as Tick mark for that particualr plant-1302
    After that just checked whether that material is extended for that plant
    Just Go in Create mode
    T code MM01 and  copy paste ur material 000000-1331-894
    in Copy from also mention the same material
    select the views u want
    in org structure: Copy from Plant-5600 and store location
    in copy to enter the plant 1302 and str loc
    Hope after that while creating u will not get any errors

  • Issue while creating Purchase order (ME21N)

    Hope U Have a Good Day...
    My issue is while creating purchase order , I enter vendor and in org.data tab I enter Pur.Org,company code and purchase group. After entering these values if I check in communication tab, the sales person and telephone fields are filled with corresponding data.
    Now my requirement is after entering Pur.Org, Company code and purchase group, and if I go and check in Communication tab, these two fields ( sales person, telephone ) should be blank.
    Please help me in this issue...

    This is being fetched frm the vendor master and if u wan this field to be blank
    Then u hav to remove those data frm the vendor master .
    Put tat vendor, comp code n purchase org
    Then select pur org data alon - >chk in purch data
    u can find tat sales person n telp no being appeared in the PO
    lemme know if u hav any prob in getting tat .

  • [Request] Special user-exit we need during creating purchase order

    We need to make specific User-Exit during creating Purchase order.
    When user creates/change a PO document (ME21N/22N), SAP has to check the u2018CUSTOMERu2019 filed whether it is BLANK or NOT in Delivery Address tab at ITEM LEVEL.
    If there is no value in that field, system will automatically input right value with useru2019s business logic.
    Thatu2019s what we want to implement in the future.
    If you have any solution or recommendation for this, Please help us.

    For checking user exit - SMOD, you need to activate this exit via CMOD
    For Badi - SE18 to check & SE19 to implement
    Take the help of your abaper, give him / her your logic.

    We  have upgraded from SRM 3.to SRM 7.0.
    Our scenario is Extended classic scenario.
    click  on create  Purchase order. Error message is displayed
    "table does not contain any data"
    I have checked in Define Transaction type for purchase order all the details are there.
    Define Transaction type is working for contract,Rfx ,and auction.
    It is not working for Purchase order. Which table to check

    This issue is resolved and I got another Issue
    I have tried to convert the  existing SC to a PO . it is not working.
    Created a shopping cart ,approved.
    Now I converted the SC to P.O. Now all the transaction types were appearing
    converted to P.O. but one issue " Please clear the price (or) Set the invoice expected indicator
    I could not able to find this in the P.O (SRM 7.0)

    We can also create the PO Using the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 function module.
    In this function module fill up the all necessary Details.
    With details in Item Table we haveto give the Fields PREQ_NO and PREQ_ITEM for each item .
    then it will creates the PO with PREQ.

    You need to have your prerequisites in place for the automated creation of the purchase requisition before the purchase order can be raised:
    You may already have done this, but check that your material has the purchasing information on it (trxn MM02, purchasing tab), that a purchasing information record exists for that material and vendor in that purchasing org (trxn ME12), check that a source list exists as well (trxn ME02). If you have created the source list or purchasing info record after the sales order has been created then you will need to go into trxn ME56 to assign them manually. That should release the PO to be created.
    In standard 3rd party, the PO is created using ME59 (prog RM06BB20), which can be run as a batch job.

  • Create Purchase Order through EDI

    Hello Everybody,
    I want to know how to create Purchase order through EDI. I will receive text file from third party system. I have made most of the configuration related to EDI like Port -File, Partner Function etc. I am using message type PORDCR and Idoc type PORDCR05.
    But i do not know how the SAP first will convert the text file into IDoc and then create Purchase order. Can any body help me how to go about it? What steps i have to follow. I will have text file from that i have to create Purchase order through EDI.

    Create Purchase Order through EDI
    Regarding on your query,
    You can use the standard ORDERS05 idoc type itself to send outbound idocs.
    It will be the middleware or the integration team that will send this IDOC to the receiving system.
    or
    Maintain Partner Profile in WE20, RFC Connection to the Middleware in SM59 and Port in WE21.
    Maintain Output Procedure/Output Type/Access Sequences/Condition Records from NACE

  • Deleated Valuation Type --Need Error Message while creating Purchase Order

    Hi,
    In our scenario , i need a message should flash , if enduser by mistake select the deleated valuation type while creating Purchase Order.
    In current configuration , it's not there.

    I investigated this recently in our company and gave this answer:
    A deletion flag does not restrict anything. It is just an indicator to tell SAP that you want this record to be deleted with the next archiving run.
    The archiving run then checks if a deletion is possible or not.
    So you can set such deletion flags long time in advance, even at a moment where you still have inventory.
    To block materials from beeing used in business transactions, usually the material and sales status are used. But these statuses can only be set at overall, plant and sales organisation level.  
    In some transactions SAP issues warning messages if a material has a deletion flag. This messages could be customized to be an error and prevent any business. However, this type of restriction is not designed for our machine, as we use the material and sales status.
    Anyhow, there is no message for valuation types that have a deletion flag in procurement area.
    There is one for goods receipts (but only for a certain industry solution that is not used by us)
    There is one for deliveries ( VL 211 ).
    The valuation types are defaulted from customizing to the transaction e.g. purchase order. Or from info record to the PO. So a standard purchase order gets valuation type  ABC , while an internal order (production) gets the DEF.  Usually there should not be a need to change this valuation type manually.
    So the only solution is to archive the material master at valuation type level.
    But I guess, you already have POs with that wrong valuation type, which means you have to archive the POs first. It you have already batches with wrong valuation type, then thy have to be archived as well before a material can be archived.
    And finally if you had stock in current year, then you can archive your material in year after next year, as SAP archives only materials that have no stock in current and previous year.

  • Creating purchase order from code

    I am importing an excel file and then for each row,trying to create purchase order through coding by using document object. I am successful in creating Order Headers but how can i create Lines if the excel sheet is having Same order but different Item codes????

    I was trying to import excel file in purchase order by following way:-

    This code is giving error as "Item No. is missing(OPOR.ObjType)", But Item no. is not present in Purchase Order. Please check whether Code is proper or i need to make any changes???????/

  • Error creating Purchase Order

    Hi Gurus,
    I've this issue. I'm using SRM 5.0.
    I've configured a product category mentioning it needs to go to sourcing only when the vendor is not mentioned. Otherwise it should bypass sourcing and after the last approval the PO has to be created in backend automatically. We are using Classic Scenario. Now i've this issue. When I create a shopping cart without vendor it goes to sourcing cockpit and from there when I fill the vendor information and create purchase order, purchase order gets created in backend. BUT when I provide vendor information in the shopping cart and Order it after all approvals, it doesn't create PO in backend. Instead I see an error in the error logs of Shopping cart mentioning.

    </b>
    I see this under <b> Application Monitors > Shopping cart > Local Errors </b>
    Could someone please help me if there knows the solution for this or any note available for this.

    Hi Sam,
    Check your settings for when Sourcing is carried out. I assume you have setting in
    place always external procurement for every product category in place, why every
    SC goes to sourcing cockpit. Adjust that setting. You need to work with product
    categories to seperate things out or implement BADI for sorting out to individual
    needs. In parallel check the settings for the doc type, number range and the follow
    on doc to be created from SC.
