Checkbox type field appears unchecked in Production

Hello,
I have to modify an application in crm portal, but I don´t not know what might be happening, because in DEV is sure and PRD the checkbox is unchecked.
How can I do to customize this field to always be marked when starting an application?

The problem is that que application does not have a specific program.
I see the customization for the transaction SPRO.
The configuration of the object is:
SPRO -> SAP REFERENCE IMG -> CRM ->LAYOUT OF USER INTERFACE (PEOPLE-CENTRIC UI) -> APLICATION/LAYOUT
-> DEFINE LAYOUT OF THE PEOPLE-CENTRIC UI (CUSTOMIZING TOOL). After I browse of the options and find my object, this case is IS_PROSPECT.

Can "SPML Web Service Complex Data Type field" take multiple values ?

In Generic Technology Connector's -SPML design parameters section, Can we give multiple values in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type field?
If not, how can i call methods directly instead of calling them through a values of the "name" attribute of the "complexType" element in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type?
I need 'SPML Web Service Complex Data Type' to hold multiple values.And based on the request it has to initiate appropriate method of action.
Presently i have three methods add,modify and delete which i am calling through a single value of the "name" attribute of the "complexType" element in SPML Web Service Complex Data Type.
I want to replace this single value with multiple menthods , so that a direct interaction between the method,OIM and target can be established.

You'll need to create your own interface to the webapp database for those kind of data operations
by this, are you speaking of the internal BC database which stores web app schema data? That would be great if it were possible to update that programmatically because I need to use the List (Checkbox List) field type (for the search functionality), but I need to supply the checkbox options from a web app rather than by manually updating the list entered in the Fields view of the web app settings (shown below).
I'm curious if anyone else has tried this?
Again, my reason for needing to use the List (Checkbox List) field type is that the page which processes searches knows to expect a comma separated list for this field type and then appears to be parsing out the individual values for searching out web app items with 1 or more matching values. You're right that text fields (string and multiline) just check for 'string contains' matches, and this would be ok if I was only ever needing to search just one value at a time. Here's an example of what I might do:
Web App item field value (as recorded against the List (Checkbox List) field type:
8294877,8294878
Web App Search value (for this same field):
8294879,8294877,8294885
The search would return this web app item because the field contains 2 (1 or more) individual values even though they were entered into the search field in a different order. If this web app item were just a Text (string or multiline) field, the searched value is not a substring of the web app item's stored value, so it would not find a match. Hence the need to use Checkbox List field type.
The web app will have thousands if not 10s of thousands of records, so dumping them all into one big array or object and searching on the front-end won't be practical (though it works great on smaller datasets).

Defaulting Valuation type of header material in production order

Hi PP users,
I have a scenario where a Semi-finished material SF is subject to split valuation as per valuation type = In-House & Export.
However, the production of SF is always done in MTS environment and client wants that each production order for this SF should be posted for GR (through order confirmation) with valuation type = In-House. When they will have the requirements for SF to be exported, then they will be doing MB1B/309 for SF from valuation type = In-House to Export and then sale from valuation type = Export.
Now I have seen that for split valuated SF or FG, when you create production order then in the GR tab of order, a field is autoamtically made available for Valuation type. This field is not a mandatory one and hence can be left blank also.
At the time of order confirmation for SF, the valuation type field is open for input under 'Goods Movements' details. So, even though it is intended to do GR for valuation type = In-House, user can by mistake put valuation type = Export.
Is there any way in SAP whereby the valuation type (whenever applicable as per header material) field in production order is made mandatory or even defaulted with desired valaution type (in our case, valuation type = In-House)?
Once either of the two options will become possible, I will be using transaction variant for order confirmation transaction to make the field Valuation type for Output only (not ready for input).

The field - Valuation type can be made mandatory in T-code MIGO. There is a setting in customizing as Enjoy Setting in Material Management. Using this you can make the field mandatory in MIGO (GR).
Similarly bu using screen variant you can also make the field mandatory in Order confirmation - Goods movement. (CO11N).
For making the valuation type as default, there might be a solution in BAdI. Please check with your ABAPer.

Need to Populate Material Type from ECC to APO Product Master

I need to update the material type field from ECC to APO.
I am using the userexit CIFMAT01 and component EXIT_SAPLCMAT_001.
I need to extract field MTART from MARA table and need to Populate it in APO Product master.
In APO i am using the ATT01 field of table /SAPAPO/MATKEY.
But this does not work the data of material type is not getting populated in APO.
We have tried to use a break point in the user exit and while executing the transaction CFM2 it does not stop at the break point.
Can anyonwe guide me as to how to go about in implemeting this user exit.

Make sure that u r pass the material type as a below :
CT_CIF_MATKEY-ATT01 = Pass the Material Type.
CIF_MATKYX -ATT01 = 'X'.

i. Goto Transaction PM01 To create Infotypes:

Now I'm using the IDSServer 4.5 JDBC-ODBC driver type 3 to connect BEA Acqualogic Data Services 3.0 to MS-Access 2003.
I configured the IDSWaldbottDS DataSource with those parameters:
Driver class name: ids.sql.IDSDriver
URL: jdbc:ids://psnb161:12/conn?dsn=WaldbottDS
I created the system DSN ODBC datasource called 'WaldbottDS' in Windows XP
Based on the AdminServer log file, I can demostrate that the BEA connect successfully with MS Access:

I recognize that the "Database Type" must be filled with the database version so I can continue configuring the physical Data Source for MS Access 2003.

The classes/shared libraries need only to be available to the server - they do not need to be available to ALDSP Studio, since the database is access via the server. Double check that the required classes/shared libraries for your jdbc driver are available to your server ]
I searched our CR database for the stacktrace/error that you have and found serveral CR. Most of them indicate the problem was jar file(s) for the jdbc driver were not present in the client classpath. So - whatever you added to the server classpath (and PATH - if there were also shared object libraries) - we need to add those to the ALDSP Studio (eclipse) classpath (PATH).
you can put the jar(s) in
aldsp_3.0\eclipse-plugins\dsp\eclipse\plugins\com.bea.dsp.ide.external_3.0.0
and modifying
aldsp_3.0\eclipse-plugins\dsp\eclipse\plugins\com.bea.dsp.ide.external_3.0.0\META-INF/manifest.mf.
There are two places in manifest.mf you will need to add the jar file - once under Bundle-Classpath and once under Export-Package.

How do you append to a "string" type field?

ABAPers,
I am trying to understand how to append values to a "string" data type in an efficient way. One way to append to a string is using "concatenate" feature.
data: myRetVal type string.
DO
CONCATENATE myRetVal ',' myNewData INTO myRetVal.
ENDDO.
However, CONCATENMATE is not efficient in this scenario. Each time you call it, myRetVal gets copied into myRetVal all over. As the string grows, this statement will execute slower and slower.
The other option I thought is to use offset mechanism.
MOVE myNewData to myRetVal+myRetValLen.
However, it appears "string" and "xstring" type fields do not support offset and length operations.
Is there a third choice that I am missing?

There is no such operator.
But if just using literals, you can use the &, like this.
data: string type string.
string = 'This is the first part ' & 'This is the second part'.
Again, this will not work with variables.

Form Field Appear on Value Entered

I am running Coldfusion 9 and building a website using Dreamweaver from CS5.
Is there a way to make a form field appear only if a certain value was entered into the previous form field? If so how? For example I am creating a registration page and one of the form fields is "Property Type" where the user can choose from "Residential, Commercial, Other" from a drop down menu and if the user chooses "Commercial" I want an additional field to pop up for the user to enter a value in "Company Name"??? My apologizes for posting this question in the wrong forum. Since I have already started the discussion here I will ask you my question here still. I put in the lines of code you suggested however when I go to the drop down list and select "Commercial" no text input box appears for the Company Name field. If you have a min I will post my code below. Your help is very much appreciated. I should let you know I also tried adding the on change to the actual option tag for commerical i.e <option onChange...>Commercial</option> and still did not appear. Output type not appearing in interco. document - Req. 905 not fulfilled

Hi everyone. WHen i am creating my intercompany document, no output type is appearing. I have maintained VV31 condition records as well as WE20 settings. Also i have set output device to LOCL .When i click on Analysis output , it gives me
RD00 502 Output ignored (requirement 905 not fulfilled).
Any idea on this?

Is it a newly develop routine.
I'm not technical guy.
But, in my opinion, the code need further work-on.
There are
- no IF statement
- no READ statement
- no table-field refer
- logic for processing missing

sy-subrc = 4.
check komkbv3-rfbsk = 'C'.
sy-subrc = 0.
ENDFORM.
FORM KOBEV_905.
ENDFORM.
For instance in this code, if there is no READ Statement, how
sy-subrc = 4
Then how system will judge 'READ' statement failed i.e., no record is found with key specified by you.
Check/discuss with ABABer teammate for this.
Further, try to manually put this output type in your desire billing type.

PO Collaboration : Invoice Creation Type field

Hello,
The Invoice Creation Type field in the SNC Web UI is always "Invoice Creation not allowed" irrespective of the settings to the Master Data / Transaction Data.
Given below are the settings I ve maintained
ECC System:
PO -> Item Details -> Invoice Tab:
Inv. Receipt Indicator - Checked
GR-Bsd IV - Checked / Unchecked
SNC System:
Vaildation Checks - Tried both these settings:
1. PO_INVOICE_CREATION - Active
    PO_INVOICE_DATA_ASSIGN - Active
    PO_INVOICE_RELATED_TO_PO_OR_ASN - Inactive
2. PO_INVOICE_CREATION - Inactive
    PO_INVOICE_DATA_ASSIGN - Active
    PO_INVOICE_RELATED_TO_PO_OR_ASN - Active
Infact, I am not able to see the Invoice tab itself in the PO details screen in SNC Web UI.
Note : I am using the Orders.Orders05 Idoc for sending the PO from ECC to SNC system.

Your settings are fine
Please do the following checks
If you use IDocs of type ORDERS.ORDER05, SAP SNC can instead read the data for these fields from a reference document, such as a contract, that has previously been transferred via the Core Interface (CIF).
In your PO you would have referenced a contract/agreement, Please check whether it is CIFed or not
Also before CIFING do implement these notes

Now when you send the ORDERS idoc, The RON xml reads this data and puts in structure

Irrespective, whether you create invoice for ASN or PO, the tab should be visible as Nikhil rightly mentioned
In SAP SNC , Controlling Invoice Creation for POs is done by FollowUpRequirementCode as mentioned above
Now since you are using ORDERS, you need to check you SA or Contract in Item Details Tab
the following fields need to be checked "IR" in both cases and In Header Details Field "Invoicing Party"
Also during creation of PO, make sure you dont check Unlimited Overdelivery in item delivery tab and even in your reference document.
Now after implementing above two notes reCIF and try creating PO, It will work
Please do mention whether you are able to see the above structure in your RON xml in SCM side and what details???

New field appears inactive in PCUI application

Hi all,
I create a new field "ACTIVITY_PARTNER_LIST" in the field group "OPP_OVERVIEW_PARTNER_50", in Opportunities PCUI application, with all required information. This field exists in the same structure that the other fields on this field group.
But this new field appears inactive in the BSP application. I regenerated the layout, but the field still are inactive.
Anyone knows what is happening?

first: check the field attribute "readonly", if is checked please uncheck it. and regenerate the field group.
second: debuge your MAC class,in read method, please confirm the field attribute value is 'A', if not please add code set it to 'A'.

Cannot load messages in Gmail anymore, only grey field appears...can answer however.

Does not occur when in Safari ( but I prefer Firefox)..Also can't expand messages, I am however able to type a message myself
