Checkbox won't stay checked by default in Bc...

Hello,
I'm hoping someone has a fix to this issue. I have a "subscribe to newsletter" checkbox on a web page, and I want it to be checked by default. I know how to edit the code (I've added "checked") but Bc deletes my changes to the html every time I save my changes (whether from Bc site editing, or publishing the page from DreamWeaver). Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone have a workaround for this?
Here's my code:
<tr>
    <td><input type="checkbox" name="CampaignList_23748" checked />Subscribe to Newsletter</td>
</tr>
and once I save changes (on Bc from browser) - or - publish the page from Dw it reverts back to:
<tr>
    <td><input type="checkbox" name="CampaignList_23748" />Subscribe to Newsletter</td>
</tr>
Any ideas??

Thank you Liam Dilley! Not sure how I missed that... Fixed.

  • Show itunes in the cloud purchases won't stay checked

For months now, when I open iTunes the option "show itunes in the cloud purchases" won't stay checked.  I have to restart, sign out and sign back in and then the option only shows up half the time.  This is VERY frustrating.  What gives?!?

I think I restored a very old system and must install a newer itunes. Not sure how to erase this.

  • Automatic Downloads Boxes Won't Stay Checked

I have Automatic Downloads setup for my iPhone, meaning the switches for Automatic Downloads of my Music, Apps & Books are set to 'ON'.
On my Retina Display Macbook Pro when I enter iTunes Store preferences and open the Store tab, Music, Apps & Books are un-checked.
So I check all 3 and press 'OK' to save my selections. The problem is when I re-open the Store tab the boxes have un-checked themselves. I try to check only one of them and press 'OK' but still, it doesn't save. I'm running OS X 10.8.1.
A few things I have done:
         1) Logged in and out of my iTunes account on my Mac
         2) Logged in and out of my iTunes account on my iPhone
         3) iTunes Preferences > Advanced Tab > Reset All Dialog Warnings: Reset Warnings
    What must be done?

Mea Culpa. I restarted my Mac and all is well. The boxes now stay checked and the phone syncs without a problem.

  • Keywords checkbox won't show check

From time to time, I can't get the check mark to show to the left of the desired sub keyword when I am cataloging images. The sub keyword highlights and won't do anything else. As a result, none of the images become assigned until I restart Bridge or sometimes the computer. What do I need to do, or is this a bug in Bridge? I tried purging the cache in Preferences and got no solution.
Thanks in advance for your help!

    David,
If you browse existing threads or do a forum search. you will find numerous warnings
NOT to use the global Purge Cache in Bridge preferences. It's broken, and the cache will
NOT rebuild properly after using it.
Go through the Tools menu in Bridge (Tools > Cache > Purge cache for
foldername) for each folder, one by one.
Are you running Bridge 2.1.1.9? What exact version of the OS?
Rebuild your preferences by holding down Option as you launch Bridge and checking the boxes in the dialog box that comes up.

  • Box won't stay checked for my laptop to automatically connect to my wireless network.

I checked the box under "Wireless network properties" to "Connect automatically when this network is in range" but somehow it un-checks itself and then won't connect to my network until I re-check it again. The "un-checking" usually happens after
I put the laptop to sleep and then wake it back up. It also un-checks it when I restart my laptop. Any idea what is causing this to happen since it is very annoying. This doesn't happen with Windows XP...

    Hi,
First, please try to update the network adapter driver to latest version to check the result.
Meanwhile, when trying to connect the Wireless network, please check the “Start the connection automatically” option. Then, when you trying to connect certain Wireless network next time,
it should connect to the Wireless network automatically.
    Hope this helps.

  • IMAP + POP checkboxes will not stay checked

I am having a rather bizarre error while setting up mail on my xServe. We have a xServe OD master which authenticates through a AD domain controller (through the method described on Mike Bombich's website). I am trying to start the mail service in OS X with both IMAP and POP, however whenever I check the enable box next to either and click save they just disable themselves again. It's getting pretty frustrating. I am wondering if there is a simple fix or if perhaps a reinstall of OS X server may be in order.
any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi
The Mail Service Interface can be slightly psychotic at times and occasionally not to be trusted. You could stop the service using the command line:
    sudo serveradmin stop mail
Enable the boxes using the Interface. Click Save. Quit out of Server Admin. Start the service using the command line again:
    sudo serveradmin start mail
    Verify the service is running:
    sudo serveradmin fullstauts mail
Hopefully you should see entries listing POP and IMAP as 'RUNNING'. It's a good idea to quit Server Admin once you're done with it.

  • Emails won't stay checked/won't stay deleted

For the last few days, I have been experiencing a strange problem with email on my iPhone 4. I had not changed any email settings on the iPhone or on Gmail prior to the issue, but I have deleted and recreated all email accounts on the iPhone since. I've also installed 4.3.3 since the problem started, and it has not fixed the issue.
Deleting emails within the email app is only temporary. If I delete an email while viewing it, the email comes back within 5 seconds. If I try to select multiple emails to delete and wait a couple seconds (without actually deleting them), they all get unchecked automatically. If I am able to delete a few checked emails before they get unchecked, they disappear for a couple seconds and then reappear.
I am not getting any error messages, just bizarre behavior. I cannot delete emails from my phone anymore. I have to go to Gmail on the web to delete/archive emails.
Finally, if I open the email app and pause at the "Mailboxes" screen, it automatically takes me to the inbox of my first email account within a second or two. It never used to do this.
    HELP!

    1. Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors and enable "Store deleted messages on the
server".  Close the Preferences window to save the changes.
    2. A Deleted Messages folder should have appeared on the left side mailboxes list. Right-click or ctrl-click
on it and from the contextual menu that appears, choose Delete.
    3. Quit Mail.
    4. In the Finder, go to Home/Library/Mail/Mailboxes/. (If you have Mountain Lion remember that your Library
folder is hidden, so you have to hold down the Option/Alt button, click on the Go tab at the top and library
will be in the menu list).
    5. Delete any Deleted Messages folder you see within your mailboxes.
    6. Launch Mail.
    7. Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Mailbox Behaviors and disable "Store deleted messages on
the server".  Close the Preferences window to save the changes.
If a Deleted Messages folder has appeared within the first level of the mailboxes list, select it and do
Mailboxes > Use This Mailbox For > Trash.

  • Iphone mail "trash setting" (it won't stay checked!) HELP!

Arghh, I don't know what happened with this last update, but my .mac mail accounts on my iPhone keep deleting emails from my desktop. Since I got my phone I was able to receive all the same mail to my phone that goes to my desktop. But once I delete the mail from the iphone, it's automatically deleted from my desktop.
I don't want that to happen! I like to get it out of the way on my phone, and then deal with the message or store it later in another mailbox.
Now the problem has recently arisen since the last iTunes update. I can't keep (in the settings in iPhone under mail) the use the iPhone trash bin...it will turn blue and then revert straight back to the mail settings stating that it's ON MY IPHONE, but when you click on it to confirm, the deleted email is going to my trash bin on the server?????
I don't want to restore the phone as I am sure it will delete my pictures and contacts that I added by hand.
    Arghhh, this is so frustrating!!!

Suggest if you are able to get it connected to iTunes that you do a backup and sync your data and make an appointment at the Genius Bar at Apple and see about an out of warranty replacement. It appears you have damaged the hardware.

  • Websites that use java are not working. In the Java control panel, under advanced, default java for browsers "mozilla family" won't stay clicked

I've recently gotten a new Windows 8 computer. Ever since, I've tried accessing certain websites (like www.cnet.com) and can't get the java scripts to load like for the drop down menus. When I hover over them they don't do anything. Other computers I have that run Windows 7 are working just fine.
I've upgraded Firefox and Java to all of the newest versions but it's still not working. When I go to the Java control panel, under "Advanced" and under "Default Java for browsers", the check box next to "Mozilla family" won't stay checked. I'll check it, click "Apply" and "Ok" and then when I open it back up it's unchecked again.

  • Copy : Make the "Apply to all" checkbox checked by default

    Hi,
Does someone know a way to make the checkbox "Apply to all" checked by default, in the window that appears when you want to replace files in a folder?
    thanks

Nope. Can't be done with OS X tools. Maybe a 3rd-party thingy, but I don't know of any.

  • Resolution won't stay on "Default for display" setting upon restart

I have a Macbook Pro 13" 2014 edition with Yosemite.
I have a problem in that my Macbook won't stay on the "Default for Display" option upon re-starting... Each time I restart the machine, I have to manually select this option (and then it works fine). Upon reboot, it always starts up as "Scaled". What can I do to make it start up as "Default for Display"?
I noticed this problem started happening a few weeks ago when I had connected my MBP to an external projector. I did have to change around the display settings then. But now that I don't have it connected to any external display, i'd like it to default to "Default for Display" upon re-starting.

Thanks for that... It led to me solving the issue.
If you care to know the full story... Once I did those steps, I realized something important I didn't notice before... Upon restart, the machine would indeed to startup in "best for display"... You can tell by the "high resolution" of the background image and dock-icons, etc... The screen would then flicker for a second and would go to "low resolution". That led me to thinking it was one of my startup apps that was causing the problem... And thus not related to my connecting to a projector like I thought, nor to the actual restart of the machine itself. I then discovered the problem app ("iDisplay") and removed it from my "login apps"... and problem solved.
    Thanks!

  • Has anyone solved the Outlook .dll not staying checked for sync?

I have tried reinstalling everything and updating everything I know to update. When I start outlook 2003 that second .dll still gives me a runtime error. So I have to manually check it every time I want to sync.
Thanks for any tips out there.

Thanks. I should have stated it isn't disabled. It just crashes at launch. It tries to start but just won't stay checked.

  • Checkbox not checked by default

    Hello,
I don't know if it is a anomaly but when a put a checkbox in a popup iView with default value true == 1, the checkbox is not checked.
When I put a checkbox with the same default value in my main iView, the checkbox is checked.
    Version : VC 7.00 SP9 patch 2
    Is there a bug ?
    Best regards.
    Francois

    Hello Ankur,
I have installed SP10 for VC 7.00 and I have same thing : Checkbox don't work.
    Can you test this ?
    1. In my popup iView, I call a web service and the result is a form. In this form, I add manually a checkbox (<a href="http://fng.homelinux.org/copper/albums/userpics/10002/screenshot1.png">screen shot 1</a>)
    2. In the properties window of my checbox, I put <b>true</b> as default value. (<a href="http://fng.homelinux.org/copper/albums/userpics/10002/screenshot2.png">screen shot 2</a>)
    3. After compilation, my checkbox is not checked by default. (<a href="http://fng.homelinux.org/copper/albums/userpics/10002/screenshot3.png">screen shot 3</a>)
It <b>works</b> only if I don't call the web service before the form.
    Best regards
    Francois
