Checking infocube contents

Hi
    I loaded data from ODS to infocube (BI 7.0). I checked the infocube contents. When I clicked on the infocube content , I am only able to see the currency and amount. The 0unit and quantity data is missing. What could be wrong. Please help. Thank you.
Seetha.

Infocube Manage->Contents->infocube content->select the characterstics & key figure you want to display->in the selection screen click in left top button of field for output->select fields to show on execution->click on execute->again click on excute to see the output

  • User unable to check in content in URM 10g

    We have a user that is unable to check in content in URM. the access provided to this user was added the same way as every other user within our organisation and there was also another user added the same time with identicle access who is not having any issues.
    The user is able to go through the entire check in process however as they select the 'check in' option at the end of completing metadata fields an error is thrown.
    ERROR:
    Content Server Request Failed
    Content item <undefined> was not successfully checked in. User 'username' does not have sufficient privileges.
    we have deleted the user several times, gone through providing the user with additional roles, checked logs but we cannot identify what the cause is. if the user is granted sysadmin access they can check in content but as soon as that access is reoved they can no longer.
    just to make this even more confusing lthe user is able to check in content in our test instance no problems.
    Any ideas as to what could possibly be causing this would be appreciated as we have run out.
    Cheers

    If you have taken a dump from somewhere and setting it up on ur local, you should cleanup the database a bit before actually deploying any project.
    I would suggest you rollback any of your current projects and run the following scripts to remove any staled/existing projects in CA.
    DELETE FROM EPUB_PR_HISTORY;
    DELETE FROM EPUB_PROC_HISTORY;
    DELETE FROM epub_proc_prv_prj;
    DELETE FROM EPUB_PROJECT;
    DELETE FROM EPUB_IND_WORKFLOW;
    DELETE FROM EPUB_PROC_TASKINFO;

    DELETE FROM EPUB_DEP_LOG;
    DELETE FROM epub_file_asset;
    DELETE FROM avm_asset_lock;
    DELETE FROM dss_server_id;
    DELETE FROM dsi_server_id;
    commit;
    Now start your server again and check the deployment.
    Hopefully it should work!

  • How to access Infocube content using an ABAP program

    Hi,
       I am trying to access infocube contents using a ABAP program in BW.
       It is easy to access ODS content as we have NEW DATA or ACTIVE DATA
       tables. Is there any way we can access Infocube content.
       I tried using the FACT table but it has only Keyfigure data.
    thanks
    arshad.

    Hi,
    I would suggest to use a transactionnal cube, even if you do not use BPS to feed it.
    Then, you create a layout in transaction BPS0 (~ similar to a query), and you can access the cube content by simply using the SAP function <b>API_SEMBPS_GETDATA</b>.
    This is easy and fast.

  • Search for checked out content

    Hello,
    I use UCM 10g with SiteStudio. I would like to create a QueryText that searches for all the checked out content. I checked in the database and found that dIsCheckedOut is the variable that is keeping this information.
    The following code gves me no search results, also some content is checked out. Did someone try this before? What am I doing wrong?
    QueryText = "(dIsCheckedOut <substring> `1`)"
    SS_GET_SEARCH_RESULTSThanks
    Tobias

    No you are quite right to point out it is the quickest way to do this - not knocking you, it works and I have certainly done it myself BUT it was on a static (published by SSPU) site so performance was less of an issue.
    Thats the problem with Site Studio I think it is very easy to have a whole bunch of service calls going on.
    I guess other options to explore would be the use of a meta field to hold this information and use a filter to toggle the value on/off. Pretty useless but would mean that the value got promoted into the search results. Or modify the search query so that discheckout is pulled back by SS_GET_SEARCH_RESULTS.

  • How to check the contents of MCVBAK table?

    Hi all of you,
    I am using MCVBAK table for extraction using LIS.  The problem I am facing is when I am running the init load in BW for my IS S511, it is successfully running but in the monitor screens it says only 1 from 1 record. I thought that there are no records in the table MCVBAK so I wanted to make sure if there are really no records in MCVBAK table.
    So I went to R/3 gave the T.C SE11 and entered the table MCVBAK to check its contents.  But in the MCVBAK table what I find is the graphics button and contents button are invisible.  My question is
         How to find the contents of the table MCVBAK?
    Please help.
    Thank you,
    Tristan.

    Hi TR,
    Yah, you need to check VBAK Table at SE11, Things that start with "MC...." are usually structures. Anther point, I want to mention is, When you schedule as Init load at the BW side, the system will get the data from S511 table(which is Information Structure table). So, you have do statistical setup first (at eg for sales Tcode is oli7) which will copy the records from VBAK table to your Information Structure (i.e S511).Only then, you can perform Init Load. Hope this Info help!

    Can anybody help me how i can check the contents of Control file, Log file & Parameter file.

    OK ...
    Parameter file:
    It will normally be in the $ORACLE_HOME/dbs directopry. It could be aan init{sid}.ora or a spfile{sid}.ora ... do not edit an SPFILE as yu could corrupt it.

    If it's an init{sid}.ora, use any editor to see the actual content.
    If it's a spfile{sid}.ora, use one of V$PARAMETER, V$PARAMETER2, V$SYSTEM_PARAMETER, V$SYSTEM_PARAMETER2 as aappropriate (read the Reference manual to get an idea about when each is appropriate)

    You should not edit a control file. It consists of many areas, as described here http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14220/physical.htm#i10135 and each are is interrogated by V$views as given in the reference manual. Can I insert pretest questions as knowledge checks between content slides and before a graded quiz without affecting the scoring of the graded quiz? Help documentation states that they should be used before a course begins.
    If I use both pretest questions and graded questions, can I also include remedial with return to quiz for both?

    Sorry, but I gave two workarounds: my preference is custom question slides, but you can also have questions slides where you do not add the score to the Total score. They will not be reported to the LMS and can act as Knowledge slides. Only some quizzing system variables can count all question slides, including the Knowledge slides, but the core variables (score, maximum score, percentage) will be correct. Here some links to my blog, that could help you:
    System variables in Captivate 8 - Captivate blog
    Intermediate Score Slides - Captivate blog
    That each SCORM module can have only one quiz is a SCORM requirement, not a a Captivate specific feature. Camtasia is bit difficult to compare, it is not a fully blown authoring tool although the best video screen capture tool around (video is non interactive by definition). I don't use Storyline, but cannot imagine that they shouldn't create SCORM-compliant files.

    Hi,
    Chk the below line from the dump in line 3 - 'Fetches the next bulk of rows into an internal table'
    what that error means is the volume which u r trying to view is beyond the size of the internal table buffer and because of that it is leading to a dump.
    As the previous reply suggests try to increase the size of table buffer which will help you display much larger volumes.
    Selection of fewer columns would be much quicker and easier to analyse data quickly.

  • Authorization error when trying to view Infocube content

    Hi,
    I have created one Infocube and loaded the data.When I am trying to view the contents from manage screen,im getting the below mentioned error.
    Your user master record is not sufficiently maintained for object Auth Obj for  Personnel Area - 0PERS_AREA
    Message no. BRAIN805
    Diagnosis
    When checking your authorizations for object 'Auth Obj for  Personnel Area - 0PERS_AREA' (technical name: ZHR_0PERSA) it was established that you do not have authorization in your user master record for this object (return code 12).
    Procedure
    How you continue depends on the return code. See the online documentation for ABAP language element "AUTHORITY-CHECK". Please note:
    •     With a return code of 12, the object 'Auth Obj for  Personnel Area - 0PERS_AREA' has not been maintained in the user master, meaning there is no profile in the user master record in which this authorization object has been entered. This is, however, absolutely necessary, as all of the authorization objects created in the development class RSR are validated in the 'and' link. If the authorization is missing for only one object, the request is rejected as unauthorized.
    •     Get the person responsible for your authorization to create you a profile containing authorization for object Auth Obj for  Personnel Area - 0PERS_AREA.
    need help on this
    Thanks In Advance..

    Hi,
    First check in RSSM whether your InfoProvider is checked for authorization object 0PERS_AREA. Also determine whether do you need this authorization object ?If yes, then it should be checked otherwise check mark should be unchecked. If 0PERS_AREA is checked for your InfoProvider, then you should have some value in this object when you create the role. Either *  for all values or restricted value for it. Goto Pfcg select the role and add the authorization values for the 0PERS_AREAobject.

  • When I check the content in a test server I get this: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain and the option to accept, but in a iframe I get the same error but theres not op

    I work in an international company and we have a server farm with 54 servers, so I need check content in all of them for 118 countries, I created a little application to do this and the problem is this:
    When I check the url in the main window I get: "Error: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain" but there is "add exception" option and the problem ends there. But my application loads the pages within an iframe and when I try to load them the error appears but there is not any option to continue.
    Could you tell me please which option of the configuration (about:config) I should change to avoid this, because adding an certificate for every country for every server (6372 certificates) it's not an option for me.
    *Note: The error appears because the dns of such servers have several subdomains and the certificate is not valid for the resultant url.

    Facebook uses such servers to store additional content media files and maybe CSS and JavaScript files.
    Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
    *Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Export InfoCube Contents by Request to a flat file

    Hi SDN,
    Is it possible, other than going into the manage contents of an infoCube,
    to export to a CSV file, by a request id.
    I had a look at the function module
    RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ
    and it nearly does what i require, although i wasn't able to get it to work.
    Can anyone firstly provide me with the parameters to input to get it to write to a file, say C:\temp.csv.
    We are not able to use open hub service because of licensing issues.
    Finally, if there is no easy solution, i will just go to the manage contents, and dump out the 3 - 4 million records identified by a request id number
    Thank you.

    Another options for "adjusting" a cube:
    - converting it to transactional and use BPS functionalities (ABAP report SAP_CONVERT_TO_TRANSACTIONAL)
    - loopback scenario: generate export datasource on your cube with update rules to your cube itslef; you would extract the data to be corrected to PSA; you can then edit this PSA (manually or mass updates with ABAP code) and the post it again in your cube.
    hope this helps...
    Olivier.

  • Where to check iBookstore content?

    I happened to live in a country (Singapore) with no paid iBookstore support. But we wanted to sell paid books on iBookstore.
    Is there a web site or some ways that we can check out the bookstore content or see the charts? Thanks!

    You can use iTunes on your computer to view into any country's store, but to purchase you must log in to your own country.
    Use the flag icon lower right to see other stores.

         Error when importing object "MC11VA0ITM_TAB".
    What happened?
         Error in the ABAP Application Program
         The current ABAP program "SAPLMCEX" had to be terminated because it has
         come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
    Error analysis
         An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
         The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_IMPORT_MISMATCH_ERROR', was
          not caught in
         procedure "MCEX_BW_LO_API" "(FUNCTION)", nor was it propagated by a RAISING
          clause.
         Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the
         exception would occur, the current program is terminated.
         The reason for the exception is:
         When attempting to import data, the
         structure of the complex object "MC11VA0ITM_TAB" was not compatible with the
         target object. The error occurred with component no. 31.

    Hi SD,
    The 11_Vaitm is a LO datasource, before checking its data setup tables need to be filled for it.
    For filling the setup tables, first you have to delete the existing setup table data and ensure all the delta queues are empty.
    Delete the setup tables: Go to TCODE LBWG and in the application give 11 and execute.
    Delete all entries in Delta Queue, TCODE RSA7 for application 11.
    Delete the entries in logistic queue: Check in TCODE SMQ1, if there are any entries for application .
    Refill the setup tables: SBIW -> Settings for application specific datasources -> Logistics -> anaging extract strucutre -> Initilization -> Filling the setup table ->Application specific setup of data -> SD-Sales order perform setup.
    Then try RSA3. Hope it helps.

    Pankaj

  • How to check the content of cluster table smw3_bdoc1(00)

    Hi!
    I want to check the business partner changes sending via bdoc from crm to sap.
    For this i want to look into the bdocs.
    I think it's the cluster-table smw3_bdoc1.
    'Cause i don't know which is the name of the structure in the clustd-field i use:
    data: dirtab type table of cdir,
          wa_dirtab like line of dirtab.
    import directory into dirtab from database
                                      smw3_bdoc1(00)
                                      id '49600667F6980046E1008002AC18C6E5'.
    if sy-subrc = 0.
      write  / 'Directory:'.
      loop at dirtab into wa_dirtab.
        write: / wa_dirtab-name,  wa_dirtab-otype, wa_dirtab-ftype,
                 wa_dirtab-tfill, wa_dirtab-fleng.
      endloop.
    else.
      write 'Not found'.
    endif.
    So i've found the directory object "BDOC_BODY".
    Now i want to read the content with:
    data:   iclust type string.
    loop at itbdocid.
         IMPORT BDOC_BODY = iclust FROM DATABASE smw3_bdoc1(00)
                                        ID itbdocid-bdoc_id.
    endloop.
    An error message raises with...
    "error importing the object BDOC_BODY"
    The dump tells me that object types of BDOC_BODY and iclust doesn't match.
    I've changed the field iclust to type xstring... but it's the same error.
    If somebody here can help... Thanks a lot!
    Cheers, Ingo

    Hi,
    Thanks, I can see the data now.I am expecting that data should display in the 2LIS_VDKON extractor.There are two records for particular condition type.Item 10 and Item 20, but in RSA3, it is showing only one record for Item 20 and not showing for Item 10.
    I have cleaned and filled the setup tables, but still no luck.
    Can you please guide me, where else to look?
    Thanks
    Priya
