Choose item to have in a region

I'm thinking of having a options region, where the user can select which item to be displayed in a given region.
I have a search region where standard seach fields ar displayed, nr, name etc., and then i have a show/hide field wich is more detailed fileds.
How can I select a item and say that it should be displayed in the standard region, so that the user can customize the search field.

You can make fields display conditionally, based on lots of things. One of those this is the value of other items on the page. In other words if you set :P1_SHOW_NAME equal to 'No' and you set the :P1_NAME field display conditioned on the value of :P1_SHOW_NAME then you can ultimately control the display of your page items.
Look into the condition type "Value of item in Expression1 = Expression2" when you try this out.

I understood what the code will do. But it did not work.

By default, P5_TASK_NAME displays Task Name which is passed from Page 3.
So I changed your code as follows so that P5_TASK_NAME value may be displayed with a link.
...a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:3:&SESSION.">:P5_TASK_NAME</a...
But P5_TASK_NAME value appears without any link and does not open page 3.
Then I created a new text item (display only) in the same HTML region in page 5 and entered the following code in the default box:
...a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:3:&SESSION.">LINK</a...
When I ran the application, it displayed the whole code as text.
How can I display P5_TASK_NAME value with a link to open page 3?
Would appreciate your help.

Click in the editable region in the Template file. Right
click on the
mmeditable tag you see on the tag selection and choose Remove
Tag from the
menu. Save the Template.

Visual Studio 2012 Toolbox - Choose Items Dialog will not display

Hi
When i click on a new or exisiting tab in the toolbox and select 'choose items' the dialog box does not display this is either from the main menu or context menu.
I've reset the toolbox, deleted the .tbd files, run devenv in safemode, reset settings, reset skip packages and nothing.
The status bar says the dialog box is opening but soon as you focus the ui this status message disappears.
I also have VS2010 installed and this is working fine
Anyone any ideas ???

Thanks for your post.
If that dialog is not display after you click "choose toolbox Items", Visual Studio on your OS may corrupt.
Could you please repair VS2012 from control panel?
By the way, can you run Visual Studio 2012 as administrator, can you see the dialog?
If the error persists, try gather activity.xml by referring to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241272(v=vs.110).aspx and then share the file
to www.skydrive.com Then right click the file to share it, you will be able to get a link for me.
I also recommend you do a reinstall of VS2012 to see if the issue can be fixed.

If they’re not in a backup, try using a data recovery product such as the ones listed here. Don't write anything else to the drive until the files are recovered or you choose not to recover them.

You should be using your computer to regularly backup your purchases and other stuff from your phone. This is done, as wjosten suggests by running iTunes on your computer, connecting your phone and selecting transfer purchases. You can also copy over photos taken with your phone to your computer using an image captured program.

Query on item placement within a report region

Hi there,
I frequently place items within report regions for search texbox fields etc. Normally the items get placed above the report body, but since we have adopted a new theme, the items are appearing below the report.
Can anyone tell me where I can control the rendering order of the items within tht region in relation to the report body?
We are using Apex 3.2

Thank you both for your responses. I did have my report region appearing at a template display point other than Page Template Body 3 (I had it at Region Position 06), and it would appear that Apex's default rendering order for any region other than Page Template Body 3 is for it to render the report first, followed by the regions items.
So it doesn't appear that there is any other way of getting the items above the report within the same region other than to use Page Template Body 3 display point, then to move the #BOX_BODY# placeholder within the page template to the desired location.
Correct me if I'm wrong here ;)

Welcome to the Apple community.
A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
Also check your payment details, make sure your details are exactly how they appear on your credit card statement, you might also try changing some of those details, saving them and changing them back again.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals.
At this point in time, I’m wondering if this could be related to (but not restricted to) the new feature that allows others to come into your home and use your Apple TV to download and play their content on your Apple TV without logging into their account on your Apple TV. The Terms of Use for iTunes Store content have always been to require you to only purchase and play the content from the store in the location where you live and to use a credit card registered in that location. Previously Apple seem to have been somewhat lenient on enforcing such restrictions, perhaps now they are not. However I don’t really have any evidence to support this suggestion, except that changes made to accounts in these areas do appear to be helping many.
If you are successful in resolving your problem, perhaps you would let us know exactly which action resolved the problem for you. If you are having this problem to begin with, can you also tell us your location.

"Choose Items Randomly" is NOT choosing items randomly anymore...

Hey guys,
So before I updated to iTunes 8, whenever I checked the "Choose Items Randomly" box under the shuffle's "Contents" tab it would do just that. It would chose songs randomly and place them onto my shuffle in a random order. But since the update to iTunes 8 it makes no difference whether I check the box or not, it places all the songs it chooses in order, not randomly. All I want is to have the randomness back! Please help! Thanks in advance!

Just had a thought: are you aware that there is a switch on the bottom of the 2nd Gen Shuffle that allows you to select 'shuffle' or 'play in order and loop' - any chance that this switch has been moved to the loop position?
FYI, the 'choose randomly' checkbox has no effect on the shuffle's playing mode - it's about selecting the songs from the iTunes playlist that the shuffle is sync'ed to - I'm not sure what is actually going on in your case, but reading your post makes me think that at the very least you have a misunderstanding about using the shuffle and/or iTunes...

It is clear based on the definition you known. Depending on you business process, the more of the item types, the better. That is because you can do all kinds of analysis and breakdown the accounting details easily. Service types are usually only applied to one time or small amount sales.

We need a bit more information to help.
Are you trying to update your iPhone using iTunes on your computer? If so, did you make purchases through the iTunes Store or App Store on your iPhone, and fail to sync them with your computer? That is the likely meaning of what you are seeing. If this is true, the purchases would be added to iTunes in your computer before the upgrade proceeds.

I have gone into purchased but next to each title it merely says 'downloaded'. I need to download them again. It will cost a fortune to re-purchase the corrupted music!

I tried that but it just shows 'downloaded'. There is no little cloud next to that wording. On an Itunes help page it shows a 'library icon' once you have logged in but that does not appear on my version of ITunes which is 11.1. I have lost so many peices of music! There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. Describe the problem as fully as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.

I am still wondering why iTunes tries to confuse me every time I try to make changes in my preferences, telling me that I "don't have enough permissions", although I am the administrator.
That's clearly a fault. Whether it's an iTunes problem or a Windows problem I can't say at this time. If you search the Using iTunes for Windows forum for "permissions", you should find threads that can help you sort out this problem.
Then, changes to the format are not obvious, and I get no notice that I am burning music files as data.
If you click on a playlist and look at the lower-right of the iTunes window, it says right there what format it will use to burn the playlist.
