Cisco ELM DB on the subscriber stopped with no reason

Hello,
We have CUCM 9.1.2 with 5 nodes,
On the RTMT we can see an alert about Cisco ELM DB stopped on one of the subscribers.
We only use the ELM on the pub so we don't actually need this service but we can't manage to fix this alert.
What can be the reason for that?

i have a file to file with a BPM,
the BPM contains:
1. a loop which runs five times which contains a receive step with [start transaction] and a using and activating correlation value.
2. a container step that appneds the messages picked one by one through each iteration of loop into a multiline container.
3. a send step.
the purpose is to collect 5 files with a particular correlation value and merge them and send them,
the problem is, as soon as the file is picked and the message is received at the receive step, the BPM stops, with a "green flag " in the sxmb_moni enrty,
i cant make out anything from the PE in the moni entry....
is it some problem with the correlation......help me out...

yes Raj,
i have a transformation step ...that transforms the content of the multiline container into a normal container before sending.............
this is the problem, i can never see the wait symbol, and
its sometimes strange, some times the process ends with "red flag" on the outbound side (right hand side of the moni entry)...
i can see the graphical............
i forgot to mention...all the steps are in a block....
so in the graphical wf log, i can see an error at the entry of the block, except that there is no error.....

That is an odd message - what exactly are you trying to burn? A disk of mp3 files? a music disc? What burner do you have connected to your computer?

HT1923 I was trying to update itunes on my computer received an error message so I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes. the download stopped with this message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. I have an ipad 2 purchased in 2011.

Spotify stops with no reason

Hi,
I've had my xperia since yesterday and already had a couple of problems, but this one is the most annoying.
When i am listening to music on spotify it stops with totally no reason and it is impossible to turn it on again. once i tried turning off the phone but then i couldnt turn it on once again... (thankfully i finally managed to do it, pressing on/off button and volume up button at the same time). anyway i dont want to restart my phone everytime the app breaks down, actually i don't want the app to break down.
What should I do?

My iPod touch is not resonding to iTunes and I have the latest update. I plug it in and it begins to sync, then stops with no reason why. Is there a way this can be fixed?

Seems, iTunes can't read your backup anymore. Copy the backup folder to a safe place before you delete the latest backup from the list in iTunes/Preferences/Devices
The folder where your backup data is stored changes depending on the computer's operating system. Since iTunes only keeps one backup per device, you should ensure the backup folder is included in your periodic data backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory.

After you deleted the backup from the list, try again to sync.

My FF 4.0.1 will not complete the opening of new tabs e.g. a specific account statement while at a banking site. The tab stops with "About Blank" in the location line. What can I do to fix ?

My Explorer browser will open these "sub" tabs. FF Safe Mode does not help, and I have run 2 separate malware checks.

Archiving stops with no reason

Hi,
I'm trying to enable archiving on a XE database:
1. Change from 2 redo log groups to 3 adding one and change the size to 100M each file.
2. Enable archiving.
Shutdown
Mount
alter database archivelog
Open
Shutdown
Startup
Until this point all went fine, but after few minutes archiving stops sending:

Problem resolved: archiving it not really stopped, only archive process 3 witch is arc2.
If I verify the parameter
show parameter log_archive_max_processes
Shows 2 for the number of processes. If anyone has questions could read this post:

If you are getting a network timeout error then try temporarily turning off your firewall and antivirus software until the download has completed. If it's a different error then if you say what it is somebody might be able to help.

Book Module: Export to PDF and Blurb stops with error at two page spread

I have a 66 page book created in the book module..
When exporting to PDF the export stops with the error:
"An error occurred while saving the book.
There was an error creating the PDF file. "
The same occurs (at the same book page) when exporting to BLURB
"An error occurred while creating the book."
The creation or export always stops at the same page which is a two page spread. Interestingly there is a two-page spread before that didn't throw an error. I tried to move the problem page to the end of the book. That didn't help because the next two page spread in the book throws an error.
Any ideas or help?

Hi, sorry I do not have a solution but I too have a very similar issue in that the book is the same size but the export to PDF does not start at all
I have tried reducing the image dpi settings. Jpg quality and still nothing
The only success I have had is if I duplicate the book, delete all but 8 pages and then export at full dpi settings of 300 and 100 percent jpg quality
Any more pages and nothing
It's a great tool and would buy it if this feature actually worked. Oh yeah I only have the trial version at the minute to give it a good thorough test

[SOLVED] Network printing stops with 'Filter failed'

I have a problem with printing over the network. What I want to do is printing from my wireless connected laptop with the usb-printer (HP PSC 1315 aio) that is connected to my computer (that functions as the cups-server). On the laptop, I added the printer with the address ipp://192.168.1.33:631/printers/hp_psc_1310_series. After printing a (test)page, the progress stops with ‘Stopped “Filter failed”’. The print task is send to the computer because I see it there, but I think on the computer is going something wrong.
- Printing from the computer is no problem!
- It isn’t the firewall, because I stopped iptables.
- I deinstalled cups, deleted all configuration files, installed cups and added the printer; no success.
- Avahi is active; I restarted it already (the wiki says that can help, but no success).
- I tried it with another laptop, but with the same result.
- I have the printer marked as ‘shared’ and the server as ‘Share printers connected to this system’.
Does someone know anything else to try to get it working?

This afternoon I tried printing over the network again, and it worked! I have no idea why it is functioning now, maybe there was an update of CUPS or another package that made it work. I did the same as last time, but now the printer was simply reacting as he should.

Sm35 / session stops with error F5 097

Hi together,
we´ve created a batch input session (report RFBIBL00). When we go to trx. sm35 erverything looks fine within the simulation. But when we execute the the session the process stops with error "F5 097"
The error occurs in dypro SAPMF05A /302. No field is beeing filled her. Wenn we fill the fields manually the session breaks away.
We are working with release ECC 6.0.

I want to create an entry with a positive amount (>0).
Thus I use report RFBIBL00 to create this entries/session.
When I simulate this very session in trx. sm35 erverything looks OK.
--> there is the expected positive amount in field bseg-wrbtr.
But when I execute the session these information get lost! The entire dynpro remains empty.
If I then try to fill the fields manually, no further processing is possible.

Playlist(s) stop for no reason

I have a couple playlists where at the end of different songs, the ipod stops for no reason - doesn't go to next song. I know that the entire list hasn't played yet and there is no max. set for number of songs.
Any clues?

There is a firewall on my AIX 5.2. The EM uses the port 5500 as the connection. After emctl stop dbconsole/emctl start dbconsole, the error message disappeared. I need to check my JRE on the AIX. my colleague reported me something related to the JRE. Does anyone know how to verify the environement of JRE on AIX 5.3 run by Oracle? There are some log and trc files in the $ORACLE_HOME/$host_sid/sysman/log associated with the monitoring the conditions of the JAVA in Oracle. Does anyone how to interpretate the info about those file?

Two deductions for invoice with same reason code posted as one line item

Hi
We have a scenario wherein we are taking two or more deductions on the same invoice and are using the same reason code which have a setting of charge off.
SAP system displays the FI posting with same reason codes with charge off setting as one line item.
However we want the FI Posting to display separate line items per deduction and not combine amounts of deductions based on same reason code with charge off setting.
Any comments are appreciated.

you can use different reason codes in distribute differences screen once you have fist selected one reason code for one invoice.

First call attempt fails with 12000; reason="Routes available for this request but no available gateway at this point"

We've installed a new Audiocodes Mediant 1000B gateway for our customer. They only have about 6 users enabled for Enterprise voice and using Lync for all calls. They have an intermittent problem whereby the first call attempt to a number on the
PSTN fails with 12000; reason="Routes available for this request but no available gateway at this point". There is only one PSTN gateway installed. All routes point to this gateway. What I found initially is that the calls
were failing after 10 seconds which is the default "failovertimeout" in the OutboundRouting.exe.config. I found this post http://voipnorm.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/lync-2010-gateway-timeout-call-failures.html and
changed the value to 20 seconds. Subsequent failures failed after 20 seconds (the new value). The interesting thing is that the second attempt even a couple of seconds later succeeds. My Lync server event log has 46046 "A call to a PSTN
number failed due to non availability of gateways." for the failed call and 46047 "A PBX gateway is now responding to requests after some failures." for the successful call moments later.
My environment is Lync 2010. A single enterprise edition Front End with collocated mediation. The server is virtual and in a different physical location to the gateway. The two sites are connected via a LES1000. The RTT between the
sites is very low so it isn't necessarily networking.
In the Syslog output on the Audiocodes we don't see the call even reach the gateway. It's likely that Lync has simply marked the gateway as down and doesn't route the first call. Then it wakes up and marks it as up and routes the next call.
Update wise I'm on 4.0.7577.183, 199 and 217 for those that are up to date and the only components that are behind say that 223 is available. Those being Core Components, Lync Server, Conferencing Server and Web Components.
As I said, this is intermittent, apparently doesn't happen for every user (which I don't buy), but is easily replicated on request.
I definitely think changing the failovertimeout value has reduced the number of failures. But realistically I don't want users sitting there for 20 seconds before their call fails. Or 19 seconds for the call to route.
I've found a few posts on this and similar issues. I don't get the 25051 or 25052 errors.
Any help gratefully appreciated.
