CK11N wrong process cost

HI,
We are facing issues in carrying out process cost for BULK & Intermediate materials.
Description:
We are having following scenarios:
1) Bulk or Intermediate ( 123 ) is manufactured at plant A ( having active BOM & recipe) & it is transferred to Plant B ( Which is not having active BOM & Recipe ), While taking Cost run through CK11N, The cost at Plant B is showing irrelevant values than B. For example Cost of Bulk 123 is 10rs at plant A then @ plant B it is showing as 10000 rs. So it is creating lot of variance in the two cost we achieved through CK11N.
So can anybody guide me to the solution, also why those irrelevant values appears.
1) Is there any way to transfer or link the cost of Plant A to Plant B, If no active BOM or recipe found for particular materials?
We have 1000's of Material whose cost run comes incorrect.

Wrong planned cost calculation while actual is calculating correct for internal activities

Dear all,
I am facing an issue in which when i am doing network costing with work center, activity type, cost center and giving per hour rate in KP26. System is calculating correct actual cost but every time its calculating wrong planned cost. For example: If i have given per hour rate 60 usd when planning for 100 hrs in cj20n its showing 2500 while confirmation is working correct and for 10 hrs its showing actual cost of 600.
I have checked work kp26 also report KBST to make sure about rate. Also i have checked configuration related costing variant planned and actual and its standard PS02 and PS03.
I will really appreciate suggestions or some one face similar issue and got it resoved.

Dear All, this issue is resloved. I didnt give quantity in KP26. However i am more curious that most of the time i dont give any quantity in kp26 and always system works fine and calculate correct cost than why this time its calculating wrong planned cost.

Reg. Process cost and raw material cost added

Dear Friends
Please consider our below scenario
PO is created and stock is maintained in unrestricted (Raw material)
and then Production order is created for Cut pcs and Raw material is issued to production order through 261 mvt type
next Cut pcs is received against the production order through 101 Mvt type. Now operation cost is not added with the Raw material cost, only the Raw material cost is represents in MIGO-> FOOTER - QUANTITY->Quantity in LC field. What to do to calculate the process cost too.
When we receive the cut pcs what we attached as component to the cutpcs's cost is calculated, the charge for Cutting is not calculated. we want both cutpcs charge(10.00 per pc)+component cost(raw mat. 180.00 per 1 kg)
Cut pcs 10 pcs * 10 Rs = 100 Rs
Raw mat 10 kg * 180 Rs = 1800 Rs
the total cost is 1900 Rs should come in that field

Reg. Process cost and raw material cost add

We are doing subcontracting that is E & L combination main material is Semifinished and component is Raw material, when I do goods receipt component is going to consumption through 543 mvt type(process order consumption),but the raw material cost and process cost is not added only the process cost is comming. what to do in this case. Pls help me, how to add both of cost.

hi,
What is the price control in accounting view you have maintained for semifinished? If it is S then it will not get updated. Only if it is V, system will capture raw material & process cost to the Semi Finished.

Hi,
Process cost is picked up though the activity you maintained in the routing.
Pre requites
1. Activity planning should be done through KP26.
2. Work center should have right formula
3. The standard value key which you using in routing should be there in workcenter formula.
In production order ---> Goto -
> Cost -
> Cost analysis
check whether you getting activity cost(In yours case Cutting cost)

i think ur chain is loading parallelly then after successfully completing both in parallel with "AND" option then after it was loading sequential.
not worry if AND fails, AND option if for after successfull completion of parallel loads, it starts the next process, check r u getting REPEAT option?? then start the REPEAT, hope the chain runs successfull for remaining process.
check in table RSPCPROCESSLOG, RSPCLOGS table
execute the program /ssa/bwt
and logs tab in RSA1, analyze the process.

Production Variance Analysis for External Process Cost

Dear all,
We are on 4.7 R3.
In production order we have routing/operation with mutliple external processes. The problem is production order cost analysis (CO03) displayed the external process cost variance in lump sum (it adds multiple external processes cost into a single line).
We need to be able to analysis the external process cost variance by each process. We want to generate a report that displayed the external process cost variance for each processes, however in table COSPA there is no information of the external process name, it also displayed the cost in a lump sum amount.
How to enable the external process cost variance by each process? What table capture the external process cost with the information of the external process name/ID?

Assign Cost Comp Structure in OKN0 and choose Prod Group = Material Group in OKN0
Transport these settings across to all clients...
Run KKRV to collect data and then run KKO0 reports

Hi Seema,
KOB5 is just for distribution of line items, I assume you have done KOB5 as well as KO88.
if you want to do a reversal of KO88 then just click on settlement option on menu bar in KO88 transaction. it will take you to reverse that settlement.

Outside Processing Costs Calculation

Dear All,
Can someone help in understanding how Outside processing costs are calculated.
Specifically, in the WIP Value Summary Report, the value against "Costs Incurred" under Outside Processing - How is this value arrived at.
The Resource Value and the Overheads defined dont seem to add up to the figure in this column. What am I missing.
Sample Scenario is given below
Work Order Quantity - 15Nos
Setup Details
OSP Item
Unit Type - Assembly
Resource Basis - Item
Resource Cost - 10
Usage Rate - 3
Overhead Cost- 10
Basis - Item
Any help is highly appreciated

The OSP element in WIP Value Summary is the purchase order price yuo have netered when you create the purchase order for the OSP Item.
Even though you enter rate for the OSP Resource it is used only for cost roll up and not for charging the job which is always taken from PO price.

Resource를 'Outside Processing' checkbox의 checking하여 outside processing
resource로 변경하려고 하나, form은 field update를 허락하지 않고 다름과 같은 error를

만일 resource가 사용되었다면, 즉 어떤 table에 resouce가 존재한다면, outside processing
과 costed flags 값은 변경되지 않는데, 이는 Costing과 Wip tables 안의 data 무결성을 위해
필요하다.
만일 resource row가 아래 tables 중에 존재한다면, Outside Processing 이나 Costed check
box 변경은 불가능하다.

Client a dev d2 16 example of it part f00008537012, plant CA12 this is using the M rate instead of the P rate

You might be using special procurement key for the component in the BOM, which is sourced from inter-company.
During the calculation of the cost estimate of the material, the system reads the price from the cost estimate of the component in the supplying plant. The priority of the future, current or previous cost estimates are set up in the transfer strategy (or transfer control) for cross-plant (t-code OKKM).
What are the currencies involved in your case?

I have created Package with Procedure having Unix command.Unix command is only to cp data file from one folder to another archive folder.
we are defining variable FilePath and FileName.
cp #FILE_PATH/#FILE_NAME.tag #FILE_PATH/archive/;
But while running this we are getting following erorr.
*"Wrong process return code"*

Hi Aswini-
You should not use # symbol for your variable pointers, it will take as a comment line. Please use the below syntax:
FILE_PATH=c:\temp
FILE_NAME=test.txt
cp $FILE_PATH/$FILE_NAME.tag $FILE_PATH/archive/
And also you can check the exact error by executing the script file in your unix command prompt like this:
/home/test/test.sh

I thought I can run the OdiReverseResetTable command by choosing "Operating System" as target technology in the Knowledge Module.
Type this command:
cmd /c C:\Oracle\ODI11.1.1.6\oracledi\agent\bin\startcmd OdiReverseResetTable -MODEL=1001But it gives another error:
Wrong process return code: 1When I remove the arguments ( ) it works very well :
cmd /c C:\Oracle\ODI11.1.1.6\oracledi\agent\bin\startcmdHow can I call startcmd command with arguments? By the way I am using Local Agent and ODI 11.1.1.6.

"Wrong process return code" Error which using OS Command

Hi,
I want to execute a shell script in unix which calls a sed script and input to the script is an xml file. I am using OS Command tool to call the script which fails with "Wrong process return code" error. I ran the command directly on UNIX box and works fine but fails when executed through a package in ODI.
The command I am passing in OS Command window is as follows:
/test/callSed.sh emp.xml
I also tried ODIOSCommand but getting the same error. The shell script has execute privileges for all users. Is there any other property to be set up for running shell scipts through ODI?
