    Hi Harish,
Just check this query by this way:
Use Tcode RSECADMIN -> Analysis ->Execution as -> In Execute as user: Put your Test user Id also tick With log and select RSRT. Now use Start Transaction.
Might be the chance to get more details about this issue for resolution.
Also ensure, Have you did the User Comparison while assigning test user id in role?

  • Database Error while running the query.

    Hi,
While running the query in webi rich client i am having a "database error IES 10901 and WIS 10901" , it is showing that the data source name not found and default driver is not specified.
I am trying to generate report from efashion universe which is in .unx format, same client version and universe is running fine on another machine (webi rich client).
PS: The above mentioned universe is running fine on my BI launch pad, the problem is with webi rich client only.
    Please help!!

    Hi,
Which Database your are using .
As explained by Yuvraj You need to install driver for specific database .
Ask for client or (your Database ) driver from administrator .
After installation you can see your database Driver in following path
    Control Panel\System and Security\Administrative Tools\Data Sources (ODBC)
    See in Drivers Tab .
If you are using oracle & client is install on your system then Check TNS Names File in NETWORK folder .

  • While running the query how much time it will taken, I want to see the time

    Hi Folks
I would like to know ... While running the query how much time it will be taken, I want to see the time? in WEBI XI R2.....
Plz let me know  the answer.......

    Hi Ravi,
The time a report runs is estimated based on the last time it was run. So you need to run the report once before you can see how long it will take. Also it depends on several factors... the database server could cache some queries so running it a second time immediately after the first time could be quicker. And there is the chance of changing filters to bring back different sets of data.
You could also schedule a report and then check the scheduled instance's status properties and view how long a report actually ran.
    Good luck

  • No Data Shown because an error occurred while running the query

Discoverer 10gR2 using Plus on Firefox:
I have one workbook. The first sheet summarizes by Vendor. Parameters are Type, Category, Vendor (all optional) and mandatory date range.
The second sheet summarized by Vendor and Model. Parameters are Type, Category, Vendor, Model (all optional) and mandatory date range.
All parameters except the extra "Model" are shared between the sheets.
When I run the Vendor sheet, parameters pop up, I put in dates and leave the rest blank. Results display. Yeah!
When I then run the Model sheet, parameters pop up again (because it has one more parameter). Dates carry forward, leave the rest blank. I get the error No Data Shown because an error occurred while running the query. Refreshing does not help.
If I click back to the Vendor sheet, then come back to the Model sheet, no parameter screen and the query runs.
    Booooo.
Have tried multiple DBs, multiple EULs, multiple underlying data sources, replacing the offending parameter with a whole new one, no difference.
Has any body run into this behavior? Is there an answer?
-- Ron Olcott, Business Intelligence Product Manager

What about trying this. On the parameter definition, you have a section on the bottom left of the Parameters window, called "Do you want to allow different parameter values for each worksheet?". When you say in your posting that all but the Model parameter is shared, I assume you mean that you have set this section value to "Allow only one set of paratmeter values for all worksheets". Try setting this to "Allow different parameter values for each worksheet". See if that might make a difference for you. If that works, you may have to leave the option at this, as the lesser of your evils. From my limited experience, the "Allow only one set of parameter mvalues for all worksheets" is a bit flaky in how it works. So I pretty much have gone to always saying to allow different parameter values for each worksheet. Hope this helps a bit. If worse comes to worse, if you have not done so already, log a service request with support and see what they say. Good luck.

  • Error while running the query on web.

    Hello Friends
I am getting the error message "Result set too large (1056716 cells); data retrieval restricted by configuration (maximum = 500000 cells)" while executing the query on the web in BI 2004s. How can this be resolved.
Any help in this regards is appreciated and points will be assigned.
    Thanks.

    Hi Rishi,
Maybe your queries returned too large volume of data.
    So, if possible,
1, create some filter on your query  to reduce the transferred data
2, chaange your query structure (reduce the items on the column or low)
and your error message seemed to be generated from BEx Analyzer...
    does web report have "cells"?
if BEx Analyzer, the limit of cells volume is inneviable.
and if you use BEx Web, do you know note1008619?
this note describe about the limit of data volume on web applications.
    Hope it help,
    Kanako

  • Getting error in 9.2.0.4.0 Pro*c version while running the query.

    HI All,
I am using oracle database 9.2.0.4.0. Previously we are using the oracle version Release 8.0.6.3.0. In this version Pro*c we have a query like below:
    SELECT a.trn_id, a.i_cd, a.mfg_cd, a.co,
    TO_CHAR (a.i_date, 'YYYYMMDD'), a.store, a.pur_num,
    TO_CHAR (a.terms_date, 'YYYYMMDD'), a. amt, a.i_amt,
    TO_CHAR (a.due_dt, 'YYYYMMDD'), COUNT (b.trn_id)
    FROM t_abc_ln b, t_abc a
    WHERE b.trn_id(+) = a.trn_id AND a.orig_cd = 'RECUR'
    GROUP BY a.trn_id,
    a.i_cd,
    a.mfg_cd,
    a.co,
    a.i_date,
    a.store,
    a.pur_num,
    a.terms_date,
    a. amt,
    a.i_amt,
    a.due_dt
    ORDER BY a.trn_id ASC;
was working fine. But in the new version 9.2.0.4.0 the above query in the Pro*C is not working properly.
    It is throughing the error
Fatal Error: File: C_ABC_CURDB.cpp Line: 431
    Not Found
sqlerrd[4]: SQL parse error, offset: 0
    sqlerrd[2]: Rows Processed: 4
    **** Abnormal Termination ****
Failure happens at the time of FETCHing the cursor, whereas OPEN cursor is successful. When I remove outer join above query i.e., program runs fine without any errors. Rows Processed is equal to number rows in the t_abc table. Running the above query on SQLPLUS executes fine.
How this could be resolved to make it to work on Pro* C/C++ version 9.2.0.4.0? are is it a limitation on this version? Do we need to re-write the query by removing the outer join?
    Thanks,
    SUN

If an XML document has a dtd definition, the document is validated with the dtd.
Remove the DOCTYPE definition by applying an XSLT.
    <xsl:template match="/">
       <xsl:copy-of select="." />
    </xsl:template>

    Hello SDN Mates,
Am using three cubes in one infoset and build a query on that. Intially it was running fine, but now am getting error generating the SQL statement. Can you please throw some light on this. Your idea would be highly appreciated.

    Hi Arun
is there any change in the objects (Check also the consistency of infoobject ) included in infoset, just make sure those are active, open the query in designer and check if no error/warning message are present

  • Error while running the query

    Hi Friends,
I am getting this error when I execute the query.
    Error message :
Warning You do not have authorization to read object ZCOMPCODE 'Company Code'.
Only I get this error, my friends can execute the same report w/o any issues.
Can anyone suggest me the solution for this happening.
    Regards,
    Balaji

    Hello BW USER,
ZCOMPCODE is the name of the authorization object that is validated in the query.
This authorization object can have any name and inside is validating InfoObject or InfoObjects.
In your case ZCOMPCODE probably have 0COMP_CODE inside and that characteristic you might have in your query.
If you're using the old obsolete authorization of BW 3.x go to transaction RSSM and insert ZCOMPCODE in your authorization object and choose display you will see the characteristics that exist in that authorization object.
If you're using the new analysis authorization of BI 7 go to transaction RSECADMIN and choose actualization and insert ZCOMPCODE and choose display you'll see the authorization object and its content inside.
If you're not sure what concept you use try both and see what you're using.
    Please assign points,
    Diogo.

  • Bex Mihration Issue while comparing the results of Bex analyzer

    Dear Experts,
Currenlty i am working on a Bex migration project and we are still in the research and analysis phase. We have been migrating some queries and workbooks in sandbox for analysing the final approach we would be following eventually. For migration we first make a copy of the query and then migrate the copy to the 7.0 version. So after migration the formats in the report generated by Bex analyzer 7.0 of the migrated query and the one generated  by Bex analyzer 3.x of the orignal query are quite different.
Can you help me figure out the reason behind this difference in the formats and how to go about it.

  • Error while running the query from WebI

A database error occured. The database error test is: The MDX query Select Company code Vendor Fiscal year Cumulative Balance on Rows from 0FIAP failed to execute with the error See RFC trace file or SAP system log for more details. (WIS 10901)
Any idea why I am getting this error??
    Thank you,
    Raju

    Hi Raju,
This is a very generic error and occurs in various situation.
You face this problem with all reports or only one specific report?
If it is with one report then check to see if you are using proper calculation and formula.
Check uinverse and parse all conditions.
If this is happening with all the rerports then check your SP and FP.
