thanks for your help

    Hellou,
    I try draw graph in Origin for assistance Labview. In Labview I connect and create new instance Origin template. Template file (.OPJ) was created before. When data is completed in sheet then I draw graph in Origin. But I cant use OA_NewEmptyGraph.vi because is it to create new graph. I try draw graph into to template graph.
    In labview I find for sheets OA_FindWorksheet.vi this is find sheet, but a cant find some "OA_FindGraph.vi" is this exists or realized else?
    Thanks

  • How to use the Rectangle class to draw an image and center it in a JPanel

    I sent an earlier post on how to center an image in a JPanel using the Rectangle class. I was asked to send an executable code which will show the malfunction. The code below is an executable code and a small part of a very big project. To simplifiy things, it is just a JFrame and a JPanel with an open dialog. Once executed the JFrame and the FileDialog will open. You can then navigate to a .gif or a .jpg picture and open it. What I want is for the picture to be centered in the middle of the JPanel and not the upper left corner. It is also important to stress that, I am usinig the Rectangle class to draw the Image. The region of interest is where the rectangle is created. In the constructor of the CenterRect class, I initialize the Rectangle class. Then I use paintComponent in the CenterRect class to draw the Image. The other classes are just support classes. The MyImage class is an extended image class which also has a draw() method. Any assistance in getting the Rectangle to show at the center of the JPanel without affecting the size and shape of the image will be greatly appreciated.
    I have divided the code into three parts. They are all supposed to be on one file in order to execute.

  • How do you generate a runtime class for iconFunction from a BitmapData?

    Hi,
    I have a AdvancedDataGrid that I would like to generate a colored square bitmap as the icon, and give it to iconFunction.
    But iconFunction required the return of Class, but I have the BitmapData generated, can anyone provide a solution? Thanks.
    Here is my code :
    private function iconCallBack(item:Object):Class
        var layerNode:LayerItemVO = item as LayerItemVO;
        var iconBitmap:BitmapData = new BitmapData (14, 14, false, layerNode.color); //generated the bitmap based on the passed in color
         return iconBitmap; // wrong, because it needs to return Class, please help?
    <mx:AdvancedDataGrid id="layer_datagrid" iconFunction="iconCallBack" >

    Thanks for the reply.
    Can you provide me some sample code as how to use the custom renderer for drawing the colored square in front of the item name?
    Thanks.

  • Which is better for drawing JPGs on JLabel: ImageIcon or directly?

    I'm currently using this everywhere.
    BufferedImage bi;
    Jlabel jLabel;
    ImageIcon img = new ImageIcon( bi );
    jLabel.setIcon(imgIcon);but now I've discovered I can write images directly to the component from paintComponent( Graphics g )
    (from a subclass of JLabel)
    public void paintComponent( Graphics g ) {
      super.paintComponent( g );
      Graphics2D g2 = (Graphics2D)g;
      BufferedImage bi=getBufImg();
      g2.drawImage(bi, 0, 0, this.getWidth(), this.getHeight(), null );Is this more efficient or better form? Should I update my code everywhere?
    Also, the latter method seems to work the first time I call it, but I can't seem to change the image on an event like mouseEnter using code like this:
    public void mouseEntered(MouseEvent e) {
      Graphics g = this.getGraphics();
      Graphics2D g2 = (Graphics2D)g;
      BufferedImage bi=getBufImg();
      g2.drawImage(bi, 0, 0, this.getWidth(), this.getHeight(), null );
    }what's wrong?

    Is this more efficient or better form?
    No.
    Should I update my code everywhere?
    It depends on what you want to do. If you want to show an image then ImageIcon is an easy way. Override paintComponent when you want to do something other than simply display the image, eg, write text on top of the image or alter the image with things like rotation and scaling.
    Also, the latter method seems to work the first time I call it, but I can't seem to change the image on an event like mouseEnter using code like this
    Don't put painting code inside event code. Painting/drawing code belongs in an appropriate painting method. Use member variables in the enclosing class for state, manipulate these from your event code and set up your painting method to be able to accurately render this state at any time.
    stephensk8s is correct about the mouseEntered method. It works for components. So using a simple JLabel with ImageIcon is a carefree way to achieve rollover affects.
    Creating this kind of thing for custom graphics and images takes a little more effort. It all depends on what you are trying to do.
    Is there a good place to go to get a better understanding of this, or just ask on this forum?

  • Viewing Window for Large Graphs

    Hi! I'm looking for pointers on how to develop a viewing window for large graphs, otherwise called 'reference maps' or 'reference diagrams'. For instance, you might have a very large diagram that does not fit in your screen with a very small version of it to one side. Over the small graph, there would be a square box that you move around to focus over to section of the graph. As you move the box, the large diagram on the other side moves around to show that "enlarged" area covered by the box. I'm trying to avoid reinventing the wheel. I've found plenty of information on graphs and diagrams, but nothing close to what I need. Please help? Thanks!

  • Graph Types getting shuffled when use Series for both graph types

    Hi,
        I have a requirement to use two Graph types in a single Business graphics UI element.
    First Graph type is of STACKED COLUMN, and the second one is of LINE. When i use Series for both graph types; they are getting shuffled and not readable.
    Same is happening on use of Simple series for STACKED COLUMN Graph type and Series for LINE graph type..
    How can i solve this problem?
    vinod.

    > unfortunately when i run this i am getting the following error for all my types:
    ORA-00904: "INHERITED": invalid identifier
    Yep, quite rightly "unfortunate". One of my pet peeves about Oracle's o-o implementation. You cannot call inherited methods using the inherited command - it is not supported.
    Which explains the Oracle error message - it is telling you it has no idea what the command (identifier) called "INHERITED" means.
    There are ugly workarounds (one which I have posted in the PL/SQL forum I think in the distant past - 8i?)... but it is pretty much a hack and not something I would like to consider for production.
    Not sure if recent Oracle versions step up to the mark in this case - I have not seen anything that supports calling the inherited class methods from within an override for example.
    Perhaps if you show us a basic example of what you are trying achieve we can suggest alternatives?

  • Draw graph with trackpad?

    hello,
    is any program how to write/draw graph in pages with trackpad? i know that i can make graph in pages but it's slowly...
    thank for tips

    Hello,
    I’m not too sure what the exact problem you are encountering
    is, and I see a sequence structure but I don’t see how it comes in to play
    here.  If your question is about how to
    add multiple plots to an XY graph, I would take a look at the context help
    window which gives good indication about how to add plots to the graph.  Each plot consists of a “bundle” of arrays
    where each element in the bundle is an array of data values.  To add plots to the graph, wire each ‘bundled’
    plot to the “build array” VI.  Make sure
    to expand the plot legend in the graph to account for the multiple plots that
    will be displayed.
    Before troubleshooting the XY graph, I would make sure that
    you are getting the appropriate data from your Data Acquisition device.  Are you certain that you have set up your DAQ
    portion of code correctly, and that the data coming from the device is in the
    proper format?
    Thanks for posting to the forms, please let us know if you have
    any additional information or questions on this.  Have a great weekend!

  • CS5 or Elements for Drawing?

    hello everyone. I know this doesn't sound original but I have yet to find an answer so I came here. I am hoping to get a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet soon and it includes Adobe Elements 8. I am an artist and browsing around places like DeviantArt i find that most digital artists use the program CS5 or something like that. So here's my question: is CS5 or Elements better for drawing? I'm seriously thinking about getting CS5 but i don't want to waste my money if Elements is just as good. Please help me out!!

    Elements is more limited in how to adjust the colors to black-and-white.
    Lightroom has more sophisticated adjustments.  These adjustments are the same as in the Camera Raw plug-in for Photoshop, but absent in the Camera Raw plug-in for Elements.  The adjustments allow you to enhance the contrast and brightness of the gray-level for narrow ranges of original colors instead of a simple removal of color with a default color-balance or clicking on a preset that Elements has.
    Here is a very verbose video introduction to the LR B/W conversion on an example photo, viewed best in full-screen HD:
    http://www.luminous-landscape.com/tutorials/bw_workflow_in_lightroom.shtml
    Here is a step-by-step example with screenshots and description, from 2008, but the adjustments still mostly apply, except the vignetting you’d use wouldn’t be lens-related, it’d be the Post-Crop Vignetting in the Effects section that didn’t exist back in 2008:
    http://layersmagazine.com/create-stunning-black-and-white-images-in-lightroom.html
    These were just the first and third links that showed up after Googling for Lightroom Black and White.
    BTW, I am a photo-hobbyist and use Lightroom every day, so it’s not just for professionals making money off their photos that need something fast.  For me it is more about seriousness and perfection and freedom.

  • How to create proxy class for a Siebel WS which has many Workflows in it?

    Hi,
    I am facing a strange problem. I have a Web Service for which there are many workflows associated with this. When I generate WSDL for this Web Service and later on generate proxy class in .NET, it creates mutilple classes for each workflow. From UI, I can invoke a perticular method for the class for which I am interested in. But when I am building the same in JDeveloper, using Web Service proxy, I get only one class and I am not interested in invoking method in this class but interested in some other class for which the proxy was not generated. Is there some way to generate multiple classes in JDeveloper proxy?
    Thanks,
    Sudha.

    I have figured this out. Actually Generate proxy creates package and it includes all the class in it. Now i am able to invoke web service method call.

  • Unable to compile class for JSP

    Please can anyone help me to solve this.
    Actually,this is the condition.
    In my db,there is a table called UserPassword, which has 4
    fields(empNo,UserName,password,level). Now I want to do these things:
    When the user submits the data to create a new account via HTML form, it submits the data to the file called CreateAcc.jsp. In this file it perform some logic,here are they.
    1)To check the empNo,if it is already exist in the DB,
         if empNo =exist then display error.(record already exist)
         if empNo =notexist then do task 2).
    2)check the UserName,if it is already exist in the db,
         if UserName=exist then display error.(because it's a primary key)
         if UserName=notexist then do task 3).
    3)Create a new user account and save it to the db.
    To do these tasks,I never create a new objects for the tasks 1) and 2).
    only for task 3)create an object.
    Is it the right way?
    Here is the file CreateAcc.jsp
    <%@ page language="java" %>
    <%@ page import="core.UserAccManager" %>
    <%@ page import="data.UserPassword" %>
    <jsp:useBean id="UserAccManager" class="core.UserAccManager" scope="session"/>
    <jsp:setProperty name="UserAccManager" property="*"/>
    <jsp:useBean id="UserPassword" class="data.UserPassword" scope="session"/>
    <jsp:setProperty name="UserPassword" property="*"/>
    <%
    String nextPage ="MainForm.jsp";
    if(UserPassword.verifyEmpno()){
         if(UserPassword.verifyUsername()){
              if(UserPassword.createAcc()) nextPage ="MsgAcc.jsp";
          }else{
               nextPage="UserNameExist.jsp";
          else{
              nextPage="UserAccError.jsp";
    %>
    <jsp:forward page="<%=nextPage%>"/>The directory structure:
    UserPassword.java- F:/Project/core/data/UserPassword.java
    UserAccManager.java - F:/Project/core/UserAccManager.java
    Now both are compiling.I put the class files into the TOMCAT,as follows.

         // These 2 methods not compile with or without para's.So I leave that job for the
         //controll class UserAccManager.java.
    Now my problem is this: When I submit data, there is an error;org.apache.jasper.JasperException: Unable to compile class for JSP
    An error occurred at line: -1 in the jsp file: null
    Generated servlet error:

    Are there any mistakes? If so tell me where is it and how to change them.Please help.

    I try it that way, but it don't compile.
    Error:core\data\UserPassword.java:package javax.servlet does not exist
    import javax.servlet.*;
    core\data\UserPassword.java:package javax.servlet.http does not exist
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    So,I comment them only in the UserPassword.java file,and compile it again.
    Then it compile well.I goto the directory to get the .class files.
    But there is only UserPassword.class inside the data folder. There is not
    UserAccManager.class in the core folder.
    Then I try this way,I put my 2 java files in to a new folder,
    F:\SystemName\com
    When I try it that way, but it don't compile.
    javac -classpath . -d . com\*.javaError:com\UserPassword.java:package javax.servlet does not exist
    import javax.servlet.*;
    com\UserPassword.java:package javax.servlet.http does not exist
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    So,I comment them only in the UserPassword.java file,and compile it again.
    Now both are compiling well.There was 2 class files.
    I put them in to the WEB-INF/classes/com directory.
    Start the server.But it gave errors:
