Class for Smartform information

Hi,
I am workin on creating a tool whihc will help in understanding the Smartform at quality check...
The very start of the code... i want a class which will help me in checking whether the smartform exists or not.. or a class whihc will hold all the properties of a smartform.
Like a Adobe form - CL_FP_WB_FORM - this class has all the methods.. through which information can be gained.

u will came to know which clases are involved in smartforms-open , create and change operations.

Hey guys,
I'm creating a custom deployment application. Basically the developer will select all of the .class files he wants to roll out to production. They are put into a JList and then I go through them and place them in their appropriate packages to be rolled out at a future date.
The problem arises when there is a .class file that is not in the right directory structure as the package it's supposed to be in.
Translation:
Example:
the package the class is in com.test.MyPackage
But the class siting on root of C:\
What I'm hoping to accomplish is to load the class briefly enough into the JVM to get the package name of it and place it in the correct deployment directory. Remember i'm only dealing with .class files.
I have thought of decompiling and searching for the package name in a regex but then I saw URLClassLoader and ClassLoader but have had a crazy time trying to get the class loaded at all.
In Short: I won't know the package name of the file. I don't care where it's eing loaded from and I don't know where it's going to. I'm hoping I can load the class into the JVM, get the package name, and move the class to the correct package.

Any thoughts on what I can do, even if it's totally different (programs that will do it for me, the RIGHT way I should be doing it, ETC), would be greatly appreciated.

If you are completely sure you can trust the classes not to do anything on load (and many do), you can load the class file into a byte array and pass that to a classloader to load the class, without knowing the package. But it is far safer to use a bytecode library, eg BCELimport org.apache.bcel.*;

Find the printprogram for SMARTFORM?

Hello ABAPers,
I need to find the print program for a Smart form !! I can probably find it by using the WHERE Used list on the FM ssf_function_module_name..
But is there any other way to get this information?
Is there a way to get the print program name similarly for SAPscript?

Hi,
Searching in where used list of FM is not a good idea as most of the ppl use SSF_FUNCTION_MODULE_NAME to get the fm name for smartforms at runtime. looking at TNAPR is not a bad idea if the form is configured in the system.
Otherwise if looking for sap standard Program name, a few are in /SMB40/ Development class, and RLB_Invoice for invoice, RLE_DELNOTE for delivery note. ( search program repository in se38 using f4 and then by description ).
You can look at SAP OSS for print program names also. I forgot the no of note, but there is one for all the SAP provided forms.

You can achieve this via Workshop 9.2 by using the exported Ant script for your project as follows:
-Ensure that all Jars needed to resolve com.bea.p13n.property.EntityPropertyManager (this particular class is found in weblogic92/common/p13n/lib/p13n_ejb.jar) and all referenced classes are added to the Java build path for your WebLogic EJB project (Properties->Java Build Path->Libraries)
-Export the "Workshop Ant Script" for your WebLogic EJB project (File->Export->Workshop Ant Script); this will generate a "build.xml" Ant script under your project root directory.
-Edit this default build script as follows: in the call to the "ejbgen" task within the "build" target, add the attribute: propertyFile="ejbgen.properties"
-Create a file "ejbgen.properties" under the root of your WebLogic EJB project and add the following entry:
YourSessionBeanClassName.remote.baseClass=com.bea.p13n.property.EntityPropertyManager
-Add a "<path refid="java.classpath"/>" within the "<classpath>" for the "java" task element that calls "weblogic.ejbc" (this will ensure that the p13n classes are resolved by EJBC)

Best Practice for WSDL Generate Proxy Class for Web Service with Two Versions

Thank you in advance for you help.
I would like to generate proxy classes for same function but with two versions.
Old version web service (v23.2) is used for stable modules in a project which is not going to modify.
However, enhancement is added in new version web service (v24) and is going to use in any future modules.
For example,
wsdl.exe -o="TestProxy.cs" -l:CS -n:Test -sharetypes https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v23.2/Notification.wsdl https://community.workday.com/custom/developer/API/Notification/v24.0/Notification.wsdl
It generates similar classes with an '1' added at the end of the class name.

As per this case, I have shared corresponding details below :
1.As far as I know, WCF doesn’t support method overloading directly
2.Because WSDL doesn’t support method overloading (not OOPs).
3.WCF generates WSDL which specifies the location of the service and the operation or methods the service exposes.
4.WCF use Document/Literal WSDL Style : Microsoft proposed this standard where the soap body element will contain the web method name.
5.By default all the WCF services conform to the document literal standard where the soap body should include the method name.
6.but you can differ the method in the same manually by using Name attribute like below
For example:
    [OperationContract(Name="Integers")]
    int Display(int a,int b)
    [OperationContract(Name="Doubles")]
double Display(double a,double b)
7. Or I suggest you that can use svcutil to map multiple namespaces for generating wcf service proxies .

Spry tabbed panels - Different Hover Class for each tab

Already posted this in the general Dreamweaver section, but just realized there was a specific Spry section. So, my apologies for the repost.
I'm setting up spry tabbed panels, and I'm wanting to use an image for each tab, with the text already on it. I've figured this much out by creating a different class for each in the spry tabbed panel css.
However, I'd also like to have a second hover image for each tab. I'm having trouble figuring out how to set up separate classes for each tab's hover state.

New-page for smartform

Hello all,
I am facing a problem using smartforms. I am printing a report where there is a loop running for a list of plants. For printing the information of each plant, I need to use a new page. Information of one plant may take several pages but for every new plant, I need to insert a page break.
I am using a COMMAND with a checked next page option in my EVENT ON SORT BEGIN for the plant code.
This does the trick, but if I use the command at the bottom, it inserts a blank page at the end of the report. If I use the command at the top of the event, it first shows a blank page and then the data from the 2nd page.
Please sugest how can I fix this.

Tcode SCDO. You'll need to create a change document for you Z table and then use the FM created to record the changed data.

Tomcat 4.1 Bean error (Unable to compile class for JSP)

I am using Tomcat 4.1 with with JDK1.3.1_01. I have a JSP page in which I try to use a Bean, but I get the following error from Tomcat.
The JSP page is very simple. I am using package names in the import statement. Code below.

Hi
I am running my Tomcat apps (on a Windows dev machine) in an alternate location (ie. not default webapps). The same crap comes to me every time. Unable to install etc. I have tried every trick in the book regarding classpath settings etc.
When I use 'javap' to check the classpath from any location on my machine, its works and javap returns the signature of my class.
When I use it though Tomcat (with the import set to include the filename), it get the error. I have heard rumors that using JDK 1.3 in stead of 1.4 helps, but I just want it to work with 1.4 :)
So if any of you can help me on this, please.
PS. On my linux server it works just fine, as does every other thing on that machine ;)

Using classes to store information

I am writing a program that reads a text file and parses the data. I have the reading part done but I am not sure how to handle the parsing.
The text file contains something like this:

This program will process different text files that will have different sessions and different Subjects.
I have the code done that determines if the line is contains session information or subject information. I want to keep track of how many times each subject selects a specific object. This data will be display once the text file is processed.
The first session in the file will tell me which subjects are included in the text file. I thought I could create a class that would be used for each subject. So when the program first looked at:
Subject #143 selected Object 5
the code would create a class for this subject.
Subject subject_A = new Subject(143); // The 143 is parsed from the text fileThen I could use a method to increase the Object 5 count by one. Like:
subject_A.add_Object5();I am not sure how I can identify that subject_A is for my subject#143 the next time it comes up in the text file.
I need a dynamic way to create the Subject class. The number of subjects in the text file can vary. And the order they appear in each session is varied.
I solution would be to code a set number of new classes like:
Subject subject_A = new Subject();
Subject subject_B = new Subject();
Subject subject_C = new Subject(); Then have program logic that starts with subject_A, check if it has a been assigned, if not it assigns a subject to it or it moves to subject_B.
Then when the next session is read, I would loop thru all the classes checking if subject_A is number 143, then increase the counter in that class.
This seems like a very long and wrong way to do it.
Is there any better way to do this?

As for the parsing, you could handle it a couple of ways:
If you always have the same format then an indexOf("#") from the String class would return the postion of the # sign, just add to the value to move into the string, and use substring to copy out value, also from the String class. - or -
Use the token feature of Java and let it tokenize the string, search forum for code samples, already posted.
As to the storage, maybe a simple Vector, or Set, if need to be unique. Use the == to check for object equality rather than .equals().

InterMedia Java Classes for Servlets and JSPs and Netscape

I am using the interMedia Java Classes for Servlets and JSPs to upload and retrieve multimedia data. I have found that it is much more performant in Internet Explorer (5.5) than in Netscape Communicator (4.7). In fact, I cannot upload images larger than 10K at all using netscape. However, the same image can be uploaded into the same application using IE. Is this a known issue?

We have successfully uploaded multimedia data in the giga-byte range (Quicktime and AVI files) at the same speed with both the Netscape (4.7n) and MS IE (4.n and 5.n) browsers. One thing we have noticed is that its very important to set the manual proxy settings correctly if you have an environment with a proxy server. If you don't, then uploads can go via the proxy server and, for some reason, that seems to take considerably longer. For example, suppose you are in the www.xyzco.com domain and are connecting to a host named webserver.www.xyzco.com, then specify webserver and webserver.www.xyzco.com (to cover both cases) in the "Do not use proxy servers for..." box in the manual proxy server configuration screen. Also, if you're using a tool such as JDeveloper that uses the host IP address in the debugger environment, then you also need to add the numeric-based (nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn) IP address to this list.

JAXB to generate java classes for XSD.

I have a XSD, which is importing other couple of xsds in it, tried to generate java classes using xjc, it is throwing error.

I do understand xml well, and having basic knowledge on XSD.
1. can i generate a java classes for a xsd which is including other XSDs.
2. how to overwrite the issue, using annotation, point me to a location where i will get more information, that will be great help.

Material document printing: is program SAPM07DR prepared for smartforms?

Hi everyone.
We need to do a smartform to print material documents through a new output type. Do you know if program SAPM07DR is prepared to work with smartforms? I don't think so, I see that it is prepared for sapscripts and PDF-forms, but it seems not to be prepared for smartforms.
In case that it is not prepared to work with smartforms, do you know any standard program that print smartforms for material documents?

These programs doesn't fit with the requirements. I have found program SAPFM07P_SMART, but the problem is that this program is prepared to print an smartform per material document item, and I need to print a smartform for the whole material document information.
So if you don't know any other program, I suppose we will have to addapt a copy of SAPFM07P_SMART to work with the whole material document, and not with every item.

I am working with 2 databases , 1 is oracle and the other is sybase in my java application.
The java application gets data from both the databases and creates 3 output files and 1 audit log file .
Now i tried creating the jar file
my manifest file looks like this :
Manifest-Version: 1.0
Sealed: true
Main-Class: tableA
Class-Path:jtds-1.2.jar;classes12.jar ----------------------------> is this correct .
Now when i try to create the jar file it gives me an err

export -> selecting JAR file -> selecting 1 and 3 rd checkboxes ->location of the jar file -> next->selecting 2 checkboxes in JAR PACKAGING OPTIONS -> ( my question is how to create the manifest file with class-path , their is no option ) so i am creating the manifest file and creating the jar file and then adding the class-path to the manifest file and removing the jar file and recreating the jar file now selecting the manifest file .
is this giving the above error --> if so how to create the manifest file before creating the jar file with class-path and main class

Adding bar codes to printer device for smartforms pdf conversion?

Hello friends,
I would like to send a smartform as a pdf to an email recipient. The smartform shows some bar codes. The send process workes fine. But the bar codes doesn't appear on the pdf correctly. Therefore I would like to add bar codes to the printer device type in transaction SE73.
Does somebody know the device type for smartforms pdf conversion? Or how can I add bar codes to smartforms pdf conversion process?
