Classes not generated or implemented

Hi,
I'm using the com2java.exe tool to generate wrappers for my com object. The conversion
goes without any errors, but when i try to compile the generated classes, I get
a compilation error because the _object interface has not been generated.
This is the message I get in the javadoc header
* COM Class 'AvsMot'. Generated 12.11.2001 14:38:06

Has anyone encountered the same problem? I would appreciate any help or hints,
thanks!

Run the com2java tool and select 'Options'. Uncheck the option "Ignore interfaces
that may conflict". Try this and see what happens.

• Java Class not generated by jax-ws Weblogic 10.3 if empty xs:enumeration

Hi everyone!
I discovered tricky problem. I've defined
<xs:simpleType name="MyType">
<xs:restriction base="cm:ValidStringType">
<xs:enumeration value="TRG"/>
<xs:enumeration value="TRM"/>
<xs:enumeration value="TMP"/>
<xs:enumeration value="TMV"/>
<xs:enumeration value="SFL"/>
<xs:enumeration value="PRQ"/>
<xs:enumeration value=""/>
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
in some.xsd where
<xs:simpleType name="ValidStringType">
<xs:restriction base="xs:token">
<xs:pattern value="([A-Z\p{S}\p{P}\d\s]){0,255}"/>
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
Problem is MyType.java is not generated now at all.
But if I remove last entry <xs:enumeration value=""/> when the class gets generated.
We are migrating from Weblogic 9.2 Java 1.5_11 and jaxrpc into
Weblogic 10.3 jdk 1.6_14 and jaxwc-2.0.jar.
Is that a bug in weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.WsdlcTask? I use it to generate source code files.
Or jax-ws 2.0 has some limitations that <xs:enumeration value=""/> is not supported?
So any ideas how to fix my situation?
Here is the part of my build.xml
<taskdef name="wsdlc" classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.WsdlcTask" classpath="${wl103.dir}/server/lib/weblogic.jar"/>
<wsdlc verbose="on"
srcWsdl="${basedir}/../definitions/wsdls/mywsdl.wsdl"
destJwsDir="${comp_wsdl.dir}"
destImplDir="${generated.sources.dir}"
type="JAXWS">
<binding dir="${basedir}" includes="${binding.files}"/>
</wsdlc>
Note all paths are correct.
Thanks a lot

That's a problem.
Other classes just complain that MyType class was not found.
MyType.java file simply was not generated by wsdlc ( classname="weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.WsdlcTask ).
There is no direct messages giving clue why MyType.java file was not generated.
Is any verbose, diagnostic to turn on etc. tricks to get more generation process info?
Are anywhere good articles reviling in-depth the process of generating java source code files by WsdlcTask and using javax.jws_2.0.jar
in my case?
For me it's an emergency. So if anybody can give some ideas?
Is that a bug in weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.WsdlcTask which does not like empty xs:enumeration value="" ? I use it to generate source code files.
Or jax-ws 2.0 has some limitations that <xs:enumeration value=""/> is not supported?
Thanks a lot

• JAXB not generating correct class definition

Hi,
I am using JAXB 2.0 and the JAXB plugin for Eclipse 3.x.
The problem I have is that when I run XJC on my XSD file the class definition for
a particular class is not what I am expecting. The class only defines 1 get method instead of three. While I am expecting to see getX getY and getZ I am seeing only 1 method getXAndgetYAndgetZ. Here is a snippet of the XSD file:
<xs:element name="Sql">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded">
<xs:element name="Query"/>
<xs:element ref="Table" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
<xs:element name="Database" type="xs:string" minOccurs="0" maxOccurs="unbounded"/>
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>I have defined the Table element in the XSD.
In this case my generated Sql class has the following method:
public List<JAXBElement<String>> getQueryAndTableAndDatabase() {
if (queryAndTableAndDatabase == null) {
queryAndTableAndDatabase = new ArrayList<JAXBElement<String>>();
return this.queryAndTableAndDatabase;
}Is there a problem with my XSD file or am I omitting a parameter when running XJC? Any help greatly appreciated

LDAPLoginModule uses the jackrabbit UserManagerImpl to create user's in CRX (CQ), not the CQ5 implementation which is disappointing. Have to manually add the sling:resourceType.

• Class not found for class generated by autotype when deploy

I'm getting a ClassNotFoundException when I attempt to deploy a webservice that was originally generated from an XSD.
1) I create the stubs using "autotype" and the schemaFile attribute. Class files are generated and placed in the location specified by destDir.
2) I then run source2wsdd to generate the web-services.xml and WSDL files. source2wsdd specified the "javaSource" attribute and points to the java file the WebService is to call.
I also take all the generated JAVA classes and put it into a JAR file for step 3.
3) I run wspackage to create the EAR file. For "webAppClasses" I specify the class files that goes with the "javaSource" specified in step 2. I also take the JAR file created in step 2 (which contains all the code generated by step 1) and use "utilJars" to put in the the /lib directory of the war file.
4) When I deploy, I get a "class not found" for one of the classes that is in the utility jar file I created in step 2. I have verified that the jar file is in the "web-inf/lib" directory.
What am I not seeing that is causing WebLogic (WLS 8.0 SP2) to not find the class?
Thanks in advance...

• Compilation Error for import classes not found in generated Proxy Class

Hi,
We are generating java classes for the COM dll using JCOM com2java compiler.
We are getting a compilation error for import class not found when compiling the
generated Proxy java source code. It can't find the com.bea.jcom.Dispatch class that
the generated Proxy java source code extends. It also can't find com.bea.jcom.Variant
or com.bea.jcom.Param. These are interfaces or data types or classes used by COM

I added weblogic.jar to my class path and the only Dispatch class i found inside
the weblogic.jar is com.linar.jintegra.Dispatch;
We have com objects for which we want to develop an EJB client to interface with
the COM object using JCOM with Native Mode disabled.
Any help on the compilation error..I tried changing the extends for Dispatch to com.linar.jintegra.Dispatch
but the other errors are still there.
To begin with, I think the generated code should not refer to any of the COM data
types.
Any help please.

Hi,
I resolved the other errors by changing all references from com.bea.jcom.Variant

Thank you all anyways,

• Implementing UIApplicationDelegate protocol methods in NSObject class not working.

Hi Everyone,
I am new bee in iphone developement. I want to implement UIApplicationDelegate protocol methods in one of my NSObject class, how can i implement that help me please.
I have mentioned the sample code what acutal i want to impelment.
.h file
@interface SmaplClass : NSObject <UIApplicationDelegate>
.m file
- (void)applicationWillResignActive:(UIApplication *)application
- (void)application:(UIApplication *)application didReceiveRemoteNotification:(NSDictionary *)userInfo
-(void)application:(UIApplication *)application didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken:(NSData *)deviceToken
- (void)application:(UIApplication*)application didFailToRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithError:(NSError*)error
Want to implement the above methods is NSObject class to be implemented or used, its not working. Help me can do it.
Please help me
Thanks,

I complete the above discussion with saying that it is better to implement the notification handling methods in your app delegate. If there are good reasons to not to do so, you have to implement the methods in another class, instantiate the class, and call the methods from the actual UIApplicationDelegate protocol methods in the AppDelegate object. This way you can remove the actual notification handling code from AppDelegate class.
For example, suppose you implemented the methods in the class called Test. This is a sample code in the AppDelegate class:
@implementation AppDelegate
- (void)application:(UIApplication *)application didReceiveRemoteNotification:(NSDictionary *)userInfo
Test *t = [[Test alloc] init];
[t application: application didReceiveRemoteNotification: userInfo];
@end
Or you can create an association relationship between the AppDelegate and Test, so you do not have to create a new Test instance in each of the remote notification handling methods:
@interface AppDelegate {
Test *test;
@end
@implementation AppDelegate
+ (id)init {
if (self = [super init]) {
test = [[Test alloc] init];
return self;
- (void)dealloc {
[test release];
[super dealloc];
- (void)application:(UIApplication *)application didReceiveRemoteNotification:(NSDictionary *)userInfo
// No need to create a Test instance. You just forward the call from AppDelegate instance to test // instance
[test application: application didReceiveRemoteNotification: userInfo];
@end

Hi
Looks like you are using a Dynamic client to invike the service. You have to
register the codecs in the TypeMappingRegistry.
Look at the example at http://manojc.com sample25

Hi,
'Class not found' in the Mapping Workbench usually means that one of your classes was not included in the 'class path' panel. In the Mapping Workbench select the project -> Class Path -> Add Entry...
For example, in my case I have Person.class, which is part of the package com.toplink.course. 'C:\dev\tl400\classes\com\toplink\course>Person.class'
So in the Mapping Workbench -> Class Path I put 'C:\dev\tl400\classes'

• Ejb3 entity bean not generating valid sql for postgres 8.1

Hello,
I originally posted this on the jboss seam board as I ran across this error on a seam test example, but it seems it's more generally applicable to ejb3 entity beans not generating sql that postgres can understand. I'll post my message below, all replies are appreciated.
I'm going through the hello world example from the seam book, and I'm getting an error I cannot resolve, that with an auto generated sql statement, that's not valid for postgres 8.1, the database I'm on. Here's my error:
17:40:31,370 INFO [STDOUT] Hibernate: select next value for person_id_seq from dual_person_id_seq
17:40:31,394 WARN [JDBCExceptionReporter] SQL Error: 0, SQLState: 42601
17:40:31,394 ERROR [JDBCExceptionReporter] ERROR: syntax error at or near "value"
17:40:31,396 FATAL [application] javax.ejb.EJBException: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not get next sequence value
javax.faces.el.EvaluationException: javax.ejb.EJBException: javax.persistence.PersistenceException: org.hibernate.exception.SQLGrammarException: could not get next sequence value
Here's the table definition
- create table Person (id bigint not null, name varchar(255), primary key (id))
- create table dual_person_id_seq (zero integer)
- create sequence person_id_seq start with 1 increment by 1
and here's the entity bean:
@Entity
@Name("person")
@Table(name="person")
@SequenceGenerator(name="person_sequence", sequenceName="person_id_seq")
public class Person implements Serializable {
private long id;
private String name;
@Id
@GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.SEQUENCE, generator="person_sequence")
public long getId() { return id;}
public void setId(long id) { this.id = id; }
public String getName() { return name; }
public void setName(String name) { this.name = name; }
How do I get it to generate a valid sql statement for postgres?

I think you should try putting the sequence generator annotation over the primary key field. Try it and be sure it works.
regards,
Michael

• Generalisation relations in blazeds services are not generated on flex side

Hi,
I'm trying to create an application that will do the hard work in java with services exposed by blaze and use flex as a thin front-end. However, I'm having difficulties with the code generated by flash builder using the rds servlet.
When I create two value-objects (say Man and Human where Man extends Human) in Java and I expose these as remote object with a method public Man doSomething(Human input); and I generate code on the flex side for this service then the generated Man class in actionscript does not extend the generated Human class. Instead Man extends _Super_Man and Human extends _Super_Human. This means that I can no longer call the doSomething method with an instance of Man. I have tried to work around this by using an interface on the java side but the java interface is translated into a flex class and my other generated classes do not extend nor implement the interface. So far I have not found samples with these kinds of relations.
Does anybody know how to do this?
I'm using blaze/spring integration and flash builder 4.5.
Best regards,
Bas

Hide is only for visible=false. Things are not made invisible as they
scroll, they are simply masked or clipped with scrollRect.
I don't know of an event to tell you if it is out of the viewport. You
could check on each scroll event.

I'm (being lazy and) using the older RT app posted on your last thread. I removed the
TimeNow timer from the RT class and used System.currentTimeMillis (as you requested) to
determine the elapsed time during the animation (see "startTest", "stop" and
"movingObject" methods). Also changed the DecimalFormat to NumberFormat and set the
"maximumFractionDigits" to "2" so it will truncate the fraction to two digits (more simple
than before). Made arrangements for the ShapeMovingPanel class to update the
"timerJTextField" during the animation (RT.updateTime method).
The MouseMotionListener is causing the animation to appear jerky and uneven. The
"mouseMoved" method is very busy while the mouse is moving. You might consider recording
the "mousePressed" events instead of the "mouseMoved" events, ie, the events where the user
is attempting to click inside the moving shape. It would allow the app to be more
responsive and might eliminate the uneven motion of the animating shape.

• Custom Validator Class not found in Class Path

I have developed a custom validator class for User Self Registration request. However, when OIM is unable to find the custom validator class and generates teh following error:

->Plugin.xml
->/lib/SelfRegisterUserCustomValidator.jar
->/resources/
