Cleaned out email a week ago. iCloud says mail is still full?

My iCloud Mail was out of space (I accidently was forwarding another account to it and it went way over). I deleted and emptied the mailbox last week. iCloud usage screen on iphone and in control panel still says I'm out of space and that the mail is full. I thought maybe it just took a while for the usage info to update. But it's been long enough. As far as I can tell mail isn't full but I can't save new notes or anything like that still.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to update the stats? Or maybe a way to make sure my email is cleaned out?

I wonder if iCloud "storage buffering" could be causing this (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4873). This article indicates that in certain cases the freed up space isn't automatically adjusted until another iCloud feature uses the space. However, if this was done some time ago I would have thought this would have occured by now. Unfortunately, no other troubleshooting steps are offered other than to contact iCloud support.

After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.

iCloud doesn't give you more storage on your device, it only gives you more storage in iCloud to sync data, store your backups, etc. If you're running out of space on your iPad you'll have to delete some data off your iPad to free it up, such as syncing some of your music or other media off your iPad.
You can check how much free space is available on your iPad by going to Settings>General>Usage and looking at the Available number at the top.

Receiving many emails in my inbox that say mail delivery system and I'm not able to send messages now.

I'm receiving a number of emails that say " mail delivery system", and they are not in my sent items. So I've tried to do the virus scan and nothing is coming up. Now the "real" emails I need to send to clients are not going through because I've used up all my space and or number of emails for one day. Please help!

I have a problem that my received email in inbox only shows 1 week, after 1 week, they automaticallt deleted and I can not find them.

You could try setting up a mail filter so that any mail that is addressed to you is directed to a separate folder as it arrives.
I think you can even specify the Inbox as the folder.
If you right click on a mesage, an option appears which says "filter messages like these"
You can then specify what you want to do wil the message.
You can edit your filters by going to the mail options menu.

Hi systemBuilder, you are not alone in your frustration. The problem is the plugin model: plugins are allowed to do much more than they can be trusted to do intelligently. Without a change to that, Firefox cannot stop the Flash player from changing window focus.

Clean out emails not needed

I have three email accounts I'm checking on the touch, but not on a regular basis. I just have them set up so that if I am away and want/need access to email I'll have the option.
So right now when I'm on the home screen where it shows all my icons, under the Mail icon it says I have 136 emails in all of my accounts. I know I can use the "Edit" feature once I'm in one of my accounts within Mail to delete messages pretty quickly. But there is a faster way?

Clean out email on my iPad at one time

I Have an iPad2 and I want to erase all the email from AOL at one time. There are over 40,000 messages.

Connect the iPad to your computer, as you do to sync.
When your iPad shows in the Devices list click on Info
Uncheck Sync Contacts. You will be given a choice to Keep Contacts or Remove Contacts.
Click Remove Contacts.
Click on Sync at bottom right

Why is Numbers on Mac OS X 10.10 not opening files was working about a week ago, my iPhone numbers is still opening and working with the files?

This is what message I get when trying to open on my Mac OS X 10.10 (The file “Record of Work Nov28-Dec11-2014.numbers” couldn’t be opened), which the same file that can be opened from my IOS 8.1 iPhone.

The most likely reason you can't open this file is that you are using an old version of Numbers. It's easy to accidentally attempt to open your document with the previous version (V2).
In rare cases, the document can be corrupt and your only recourse is to grab a backup copy.

Running out of HD space but my shopping cart is still full...

I am horribly cripplingly addicted to the TV shows on the iTMS but am running out of HD space so I'm looking for solutions. I know there is a script out there that will let me create multiple iTunes libraries in seperate locations including external drives so I may do that, but I'm looking for suggestions anyway.
Anyone have any?

Right. By changing the 'iTunes Music folder location', you're just telling iTunes where to store the next ripped CD and purchased music. The locations of the songs already in your library, is stored in the 'iTunes Library' file (info here).

Yes, many users (including me) have done that already. This article tells you the necessary steps to do:

Would there be any disadvantages to doing so?
The only disadvantage I can think of, is that the 'iTunes Music folder location' resets if you don't have the drive attached and run iTunes.
You have to set it manually to the EHD again after attaching the EHD.

Installing 10.4.10 and cannot install Mobile Device Support. I have followed the documentation at the support pages and have totally cleaned out Apple software so that I could do a total clean "new" install. Still no success. Any suggestions?

In trying to install iTunes 10.4.1.10 I could not get Apple Mobile Device Support to work. Following Apple support (docs Ht1923 ?71926 + TS1538 et al) cleaned out all Apple software for a "new" install. Still can not get Mobile Device Support to install. What am I missing?

After uninstalling iTunes and the related components it is useful to physically delete any files that may remain in the specified locations before attempting to reinstall.
If that still doesn't work you could try downloading 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). AMDS might not install right now, but you may get a more useful error message as to why not, and you might be able to run iTunes even if you can't update your devices at this stage.
Make sure you download a fresh copy of the installer as it was updated some time after the initial release.

I have a bellsouth.net mail account and my iPad keeps receiving emails from months ago and says I have over 10,000 emails yet to receive. How do I stop this and get only recently sent emails. Help it's driving me crazy,

Using your account page on your email server, there should be a way to delete all old emails.
I have mine set to delete automatically after a set time period. In this fashion, all received emails, whatever the device, are only recent mails.

Problem sending out emails offsite. iPad

I have no problem sending out email when using it at office.
But when I go offsite to send out email, i was prompted 'Cannot Send Mail'. A copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient was rejected by server because it does not allow relaying.
Any good souls out there who can assist?

Cannot close finder because it says it is still working

The Finder will not close (been over a week) as it says it is still doing something. I think it has to do with Dropbox which was trying to load my pictures but they all come up empty.

Go to the Apple icon in upper left corner, click on it and select Force Quit. When the window comes up select Finder and click Relaunch button.

I have logic pro has filled my computer. When i move it to Time Machine / the startup disc says it is still to full to use App

I am trying to move all files to time machine .
After i move them my start up disc says it is still full and can't use app. Also I noticed Logic App is making a copy od tracks on another part of computer. Is this why memory is full? Can i save these large files straight to the back up and still use them?

You need a non-time machine hd to move files off of your main drive.
