how can i clear list compleatly
there are 2 methos remove and removeAll but remove all ask fo collection as parameter
let say i have list of strings
ArrayList<String> myList = new ArrayList<String>()
myList.removeAll(/*????*/); or may be ther is better way to clear the list compleatly ??
what i did i creat for loop and remove elment by element but at the end i get this error

If there's nothing else that has a reference to that list, you're probably better off just creating a new one. It's not likely to make a big difference, but it can give slightly better GC performance.

I had numerous items int the downloads window. I clicked clear list and it did. Now when I download something, it flashes for just a second in the downloads window and then disapears. The file is actually downloaded to the downloads folder.

Better yet... as there's a lot of "wasted" space w/ too large Month title and empty space surrounding the Month title above and too much space surrounding the month/year slider bar below, how can I minimize these to allow me more usable / valuable calendar "contents" so I don't need to waste so much time clicking "more" just to see the bottom of the truncated third event and find out there are no 4+ events posted that date? i.e. more "user-friendly" presentation?

Creation of Supplier Clearing List could not be finished

Hello everyone,
since a couple of months there is a problem while creating the supplier clearing list after receiving an ORDERS message. It seems that the flag SELFLAG in table /IDEXGE/SSCLISTA is not been set after creating the list items in table /IDEXGE/SSCLISTI.
After running the transaction /IDEXGE/TDUEDATE_REP to send the SCL, a message with number /IDEXGE/EQS_DATEX134 appears.
Up to now i could not find the reason, why this flag is not set in some cases. Each test i'd made was successfull.
Anybody of you ever had the same error?

I am running with SCOM 2007 R2 with CU4. I am able tohedule schedule the Reports but when ever trying open the schedule Reports folder in SCOM Reporting Consol, getting below error message :

I can't "clear list" in the download box with the latest Firefox browser on any of my computers.

When I download a PDF or any file with firefox, the download box will appear like normal tracking the download until it's finished. Usually when the download is complete, you can click on "clear list" in the bottom left of the box to clear your download history, but with the latest version of Firefox none of my computers (I have two computers with Windows 7) can't click on "Clear List" as it is always greyed-out. Any help would be deeply appreciated, thank you.

The Downloads Clear List Button Not Working In Firefox 19.0

Hello,
After upgrading Firefox to version 19.0 today, I noticed that the Downloads Clear List Button does not work & is always grayed/greyed out, and so you can not clear all downloads; and so you have to remove them each one-at-a-time.
I did not have this problem until upgrading to version 19.0

Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Site Preferences"

Query on clearing List Value

Hi,
Under Reset Button of screen, iam able to clear all the screen fields except the listbox field.
'TDD' is the text field with the list of values which is filled from the program using FM: vrm_values., under PBO Module. The listbox is working absolutely fine and able to give the desired result. But under reset button of screen field iam unable to set the 'TDD' without any value. 'TDD' must be set to empty under reset button, but instead it is displaying the last selected item from the list.
I have tried with the following:
CLEAR TDD
CLEAR LIST
TDD = ' '.
CALLED VRM_VALUES ONCE AGAIN UNDER RESET OPERATION.
REFILLED THE LIST
But unable to set TDD as empty under reset button click operation.
Please suggest.

Ok i have added the first list item as ' ' i.e without any item.
But under reset how to assign the list item on first listitem i.e empty string.
'TDD' is the text field which is filled with values 350, 500, 600, 750, and an empty field. How to set TDD to empty field during press of Reset Button...

There is no way to remove items from the purchased list on the iPad.
You can send a photo from the mail app by tapping and holding down in the body of the email and select - Insert Photo or Video - from the black options bar that will pop up.

I like to _keep_ my list populated with what I've downloaded but occasionally end up with it getting clicked on accident and lose the whole thing. I haven't tested this, but it should work flawlessly. You can always erase this line if you want the button back. This will only work on your Firefox profile. If you want these changes to span across all Firefox users on your computer, please tell me.

Inadvertent click over 'clear list' crashed the list of downloaded files.How to retrieve that list?

I was downloading the Firefox -5 update yesterday(07-07-2011),
while the process was going on,the 'clear list' tab situated in the left side lower corner was pressed by me inadvertently causing disappearance of the list of all other completed,incomplete and
failed downloaded files.The problem is how to retrieve the aforesaid
list of the downloaded files.Can the downloaded files themselves

I never told you to disable settings in that part to the history settings, you did that yourself ([[/questions/897299#answer-276610]]).

Did you try to delete the downloads.sqlite file in case there is a problem with the file?
Did you check the permissions for all files in the Firefox Profile Folder?

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

when i click on the download clear list button it dues not work . I tried to uninstall and reinstall with no change

Since your downloads went to a temporary folder, and there are many things that help you clean your system of "unwanted" files they may be gone.
In that case you may find the pages you got them from in your history (Ctrl+Shift+H") especially if they came from one site, or you know when you downloaded them.
The AwesomeBar search using strings from title and/or url that you use in the Location Bar also works in in your History & Bookmarks sidebars and Library List. Internal searches from the Location bar have ''[http://kb.mozillazine.org/Location_Bar_search#Location_Bar_search_.28internal_-_Auto_Complete.29 modifiers]'' as well to help you, but in your case you probably need to work with the Library Lists.

Batch Capture - clearing list

I lined up some clips to capture, then decided not to and changed tapes. However everytime I want to do a batch capture, all the old in and out points of the removed tapes come up and FCP tries to capture. Is there any way I can clear this list?

You must give each tape you log a unique tape number. That will tell FCP what to look at when you want to batch.
If you have not done this, Try creating a new bin in the browser and drag the clips you want to capture to it. Then set this bin as the logging bin (control click on the bin and choose from drop list)
I believe you can also click on the reel name column in the browser and change the reel name for footage that you have logged and, or captured.

Vendor open item doesn't appear in clearing list

Hi All,
Few of the vendor open items are not appearing while running transaction f-44 for clearing them.
Anybody has any clue what could be wrong?
These items appear in open item through FBL1N.

For that you go to F110 and check any uncleared proposal are there in APP.If it is there delete those proposals.
