i want to clear the value of sd_selfield but i am not able to clear since it is not an internal table of occurs 0. how can i refresh the body of the field here.

How to clear the fields within copy routines in the copy contorl

HI Gurus,
I need to clear the fields VBP-VBELV and VBAP-PSSNV within the copy routines 303 in the copy control between quote item and sales order item. I am not sure how to do that... Can some body please help.
This is required because we had sales order and quote using the same requirement type which controls the special stock indicator. This leads to the stock getting update in quotation instead of the sales order, because the quotation is initiating document (collecting all cost etc).Now i know requirement should only be passed to production from sales order and not from quotation so i changed the config but there are some existing documents using same requirement type on both quotation and sales order and to correct those i need to clear fields VBP-VBELV and VBAP-PSSNV within the copy routines 303.

I would like to be able to start typing a URL directly (with no need to clear the field first) after opening a new tab with my homepage...

I've just installed the newest desktop version of the Firefox browser because my Opera doesn't feel very well these days. I'm trying to become friends with Firefox, and that's why I've changed the new tab settings in order to have my offline homepage loaded every time I open a new tab. There is an inconvenience — when I press Ctrl+T, the cursor appears at the end of the URL. It means that when I start typing, the letters show in the address bar after the URL of my homepage, so what I need is to clear the field first.
Is there a way to get rid of this? (If it helpes, I'm currently using Windows 7.)
I would appreciate if I could just press Ctrl+T, type a URL, and press Enter when I want to go to a website different from my homepage. Thank you for your replies!

Then you can use (Ctrl+L and) Ctrl+A to select all the text in the location bar or Shift+Home/End.

Report query not returning the field value from external table

I have an issue regarding reports. I have a query having 4 fields from external table and remaining from db tables. the report query returns all the fields from the db tables and only 2 fields from external table. but the same query if I tried in plsql developer it returns all the fields values.
Can anyone please help me in this issue.

Clearing the displayed value for a SELECT-OPTION

How do I clear the displayed value of a SELECT-OPTION?
I have 2 SELECT-OPTIONs on my screen (standard basic report program screen). I use code like this to populate the drop-down boxes for each one.

AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR s_prctr-low.
PERFORM fill_prctr_values.

The value the user picks for the first SELECT-OPTION will affect what values I put in the drop-down list for the second SELECT-OPTION.
If a user enters a value for the second SELECT-OPTION, and then goes back and changes the value of the first SELECT-OPTION, then I want to do two things:
1. Create a new set of values for the drop-down list for the second SELECT-OPTION (no problem; working fine);
2. Clear the displayed value from the second SELECT-OPTION that the user entered previously. That value became invalid when the user picked a new value for the first SELECT-OPTION.
How do I clear that second displayed value?
I have tried CLEAR and REFRESH for the second variable using the formats s_prctr, s_prctr[], and s_prctr-low. They will erase the values of the internal table or part(s) of it, but the displayed value stays on the screen.
I need to clear out the displayed value so the user will either leave it blank or enter or select a new value.
I am using F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST to build the drop-down lists, and it works fine, but I do not see any function module to clear the displayed value off the screen.

Sorry, but calling DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE did not work. This is how I coded it.
fld_reset_rcd-fieldname = 'S_PRCTR'.

CLEAR fld_reset_rcd-fieldinp.        " what goes in here?

I have discovered that CLEAR and REFRESH of s_prctr will clear it somewhat. If I enter multiple values, ranges, etc., they will all be cleared, EXCEPT for the one single value that is displayed on the main screen. It is not cleared and it remains if you push the button to display the pop-up to enter ranges, etc.
To devrath.sampat -- Thanks for your example for building the drop-down list, but that is not the problem I am having. I am already able to build it just fine.
To repeat my problem, if I:
1. first enter / select a value for the first SELECT-OPTION s_prgrp
2. then enter / select a value for the second SELECT-OPTION s_prctr
3. And finally go back and select a new value of the first SELECT-OPTION s_prgrp from its drop-down list,
     when I do, the program needs to clear the value displayed on the main screen for the second SELECT-OPTION s_prctr (any additional values, ranges, etc., are cleared by CLEAR and REFRESH, if I go look; but not the value shown on the main screen).

How to clear the variable value in session store?

I'll try to build form for search. There are LOV and
search button on form. When user don't select anything then push
search button, I'd like the report to show query everything. I
mean the report will show like condition where id like '%'.
And I send variable between form to report by using session
store.
I select nothing in LOV but value that return by LOV is
not null. It's in stead of old value of LOV.
Please tell me.. How to clear the variable value in
session store? I'd like to set it to null. If you have greater
way to do like this, please tell me.

There are couple of links already available for this. Just for info see the below details,
The Output file name could be used from the field value of payload. For this you need to use the UDF DynamicFile name with below code,

Create Excel file in application server but the field value is incorrect

Hi Experts,
i am facing a problem when create excel file in application server using OPEN DATASET command.
the internal table have 4 field and one of those field contains 19 digit number --> ICCID.
the code running well, successfully create EXCELfile in application server but the problem is SAP only copy exactly first 15 digit numeric only and the rest became zero 0
Example :
the field value in internal table is 8962118800000447654 but when i opened in the excel file the value became 8962118800000440000.
and if i add alphabet like a8962118800000447654 then it is correct.
is there is anything wrong with my code?

Highlighting TEXT - not the field - and clearing the set value for a new one

I have a form in which various text fields are set with a message to inform the user as to what kind of information I want typed in. My goals are:
1. Have the text get highlighted so when the user starts typing, the "old" value gets replaced with the "new"
2. Or, when the user tabs or clicks in the field all of the "old" value is deleted and they can start typing the "new" value from the beginning of the field.
I am trying to eliminate having to manually highlight the field in order to type in the needed information. But each field needs to start with a value so the user knows what kind of information I am looking for.
Does this make sense? By the way, I have no JavaScript experience...uh oh!

I'm having two fields for selection..when i press enter after entering some values,based on that my table control will get filled up..and when i double -click on that row in table control i get all the values of that row in the respective fields in my tabstrip..all these r in same screen 100..and in tabstrip i have 5 tabs with 5 subscreens..containing the fields of table control..now that when i enter a value in the selection screen fields..my table control is getting added with a second row of values as required..but my problem is that the values of the tabstrip should get cleared..this is not happening..i wrote logic like if my tablecontrol is getting appended the values from tabstrip should get cleared..all the fields are getting cleared except the fields of tab which is active..how to do it..

Try this out.
declare a variable in Top Include
data : appended type c.
if the appending to the internal table is success means sy-subrc = 0
make appended = 'X'.
go to the PBO of subscreen of the tab where you want to clear the data
if appended = 'X'.
clear appended.( this is must otherwise for every call of the subscreen of this tab the values get cleared)
here clear the value of the subscreen of the tab strip)
endif.
The same can be achieved using the OK_CODE also

2005 B1: Clear Link field value

I have a UDF field of type "General" and Structure "LINK" on the A/P Invoice screen. My addon requirement is
to clear this field each time a user duplicates an A/P invoice. How can I do
this via the UI API? What object in the UI API should I associate with this
fied e.g. Edit Text, Static Text etc.
I got an error message "Item is not editable" when I tried to clear the value. See code below for the "Duplicate" menu click:

You get the error message because by default the UDF for a 'link' type field is not editable (ie. it is greyed out).
There are a few restrictions in the UI API for system forms which you will need to work around to get desired results:-
Limitation #1: You will not be able to change the editable property of the system item "U_test" to true.
Limitation #2: You cannot simply set the value directly on the DBDataSource in a system form.
One possible workaround for this is to use a custom edittext linked to the same underlying field(OPCH/U_test), which you can make editable and can change using the syntax .value = "".
During Form Load of the UDF Window, add a new edit text to the form, bind it to the datasource for your link field and hide it. eg:-

I have developed an application, in which user put sales order on first page and press a button then its detail display on second page using restAPI. Now when I press back button on second page then it takes me to first page with holding previous sales order value in input field. And when I change its value and press that button again then it shows me previous sales order detail.
