CLIENT PROXY TO SOAP

Dear Experts,
I have an issue with ABAP Client Proxy to SOAP Scenraio,
The Scenario is i am sending the data to webservice and it is processing succesfully, but the problem is eventhough there is no execution of proxy from SAP it is continously sending 3 more times to WSDL where as it should send for the first time and next onwards it should not send
i am using PI7.1 SOAP Axis 1.2 adapter
SOAP body Child
Regards,
Anil

Thanks for your reply,
Abap cod is ok. but it is not showing the another request in sxmb_moni of r/3 system.   it is hsowing only one request.  for that request in xi receiver communication channel payload it is showing 3 times more.  what was the problem

  • ABAP Client Proxy to SOAP

    Hi all,
    I am working on ABAP client proxy to SOAP Asynchronous scenario.  when iam sending the data from r/3 system data sent to webservice.
    but PI sending this same data  3 more to the third parth system.  when i checked in runtime workbench it is showing number of retrys 3
    how to resolve this issue.  please explain in detail
    Thanks
    Anil

    Anil,
    That's the default setting for Async SOAP communication...this can occur if the receiver is overloaded and cannot take any more feed and sometimes time out in the middle of the hand off...this would lead to re-try in PI...so you would see 3 entries of same data...refresh or clear the data from the receiver could solve the issue...
    Thanks,

  • Acknowlegment in Client Proxy to SOAP  Async Scenario

    Hia,
    We are working on ABAP Proxy  --> SAP PI 7.1 --> SOAP (Asynchronous Scenario).
    ECC -> PI -> Legacy CRM
    I have few threads everyone is posting the following link:

    but how to use in real time scenario is an issue?
    Do we have write code in GET_ACKNOWLEDGMENT method while creating ABAP Proxy? I understood that the we can query an acknowledgment with the help of Message ID but how do we pass PI message id to this code?
    Thanks a lot

  • Error in synchronous( abap proxy to soap)scenario

    Hi experts,
    My scenario is synchronous abap proxy to sysnchronous soap. for proxy I am using business system name as ERDCLNT220 and soap business system name as BS_HRS_DEV
    configuration steps are
    1. only client proxy to soap scenario I have done.
    communication channels: only receiver soap adapter. no proxy sender communication channel for client proxy.
    Already we have RFC destination connection and connection type H for proxy to xi.
    1.Is it required RFC destination connection for xi to server proxy.
    2.Is it required receiver proxy communication channel for server proxy?.
    i HAVE TESTED THIS INTERFACE. I am able to send the request. But I am not able to receive the response from soap webservice message .
    error is:

    Your exception message shows problem at the webservice side.
    Check the following:
    a) you need two mappings one for proxy req to soap request and other soap response to proxy response
    b) You need to create service interfaces both sender and receiver synchronous .
    c) communication channel  QOS is best effort for both sender and receiver
    d) I dont see problem in soap configuration. Bcuz you are able to ping and while getting response from the method getPerson it fails.
    f) See your SOAP response structure matches with WSDL provided.
    g) You can also test outside PI.. I meant testing via soap client tool like SOAPUI  for that web service. So that you know whether problem exists on the target system or not.
    Hope that helps.

  • SOAP --XI ---RFC or Java Client  Proxy

    Hello Gurus,
    Need your adivce for a scenario in XI
    Scenario ---  To implement XI with SAP SCEM(Supply Chain Event Management).
    Client is sending data from Web Portal (JSP Page) and wants to integrate with R/3.
    (Request from client and Response from R/3 shown again at browser )
    Web Portal (JSP Page) is on server A and XI on server B
    Queries ---
    1. Can I use Java Client Proxy Approach ---  proxy --- xi -- rfc approach
    If  Web Portal (JSP page) is working in server A and XI in server B then can I call xi server from jsp page by passing xi server credential (username,password,bus service) and using sync Interface I can show result back to browser.
    2. For SOAP Approach  -- SOAP -- XI --- RFC approach
    Suppose I need to send two parameters from my Web Portal (JSP page) to xi to R/3 and it will return some result.
    Concept of Webservice --- any application (like BAPI ) exposed.
    a. Pls tell me all the steps required for IR and ID
    b.How can I invoke that generated webservice from my jsp page --- so that my request parameters values go to xi from my jsp page and to R/3 and then result from R/3 to xi and to my jsp page.
    Regards

    I think second approach is more appropriate ie. SOAP>XI>RFC

  • Troubleshooting SOAP Call with ABAP Client Proxy

    Hello,
    we want to make a synchronous call to a web service from ABAP via HTTP / SOAP. The third party system provides a WSDL which we have used to create a client proxy in ABAP.
    The request call works fine, but we do not get any SOAP response.
    The question now is which monitoring / debugging capabilties are recommended on the SAP system to track down the problem? Which transactions and monitoring functionalities should I use?
    Thank you very much for your advise!

    Hi Prasad,
    Here is an example of each one... notice the difference between the Username elements in each of  the requests:
    qualified -
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ver="http://somenamespace">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <ver:GetUserRequest>
             <ver:IdmRequestContext>
                <ver:UserName></ver:UserName>
             </ver:IdmRequestContext>
          </ver:GetUserRequest>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    unqualified -
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ver="http://somenamespace">
       <soapenv:Header/>
       <soapenv:Body>
          <ver:GetUserRequest>
             <ver:IdmRequestContext>
                <UserName></UserName>
             </ver:IdmRequestContext>
          </ver:GetUserRequest>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
    If you have the option of the WSDL definition changing that attribute to unqualified then it should start working immediately.  If that is not an option then your ABAP mapping needs to handle the namespace insertion into the XML.  I achieved this in my requirement by using a graphical mapping instead because I imported the WSDL as an external definition and mapped my proxy 1:1 to each element in the external definition.

  • Web service - Client Proxy - SOAP error

    Hi All,
    I created a custom web service/port and Client proxy.
    While I test the Client proxy with Logical port via SE80, I am getting error message related to SOAP.
    Error text:
    SOAP:14 Unexpected element -el=definitions ns=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
    Error when processing Web service call
    Error when calling SOAP Runtime functions: Unexpected element -el=definitions ns=http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/
    Am I missing any configuration?
    THanks,
    Chirag

    Hi,
    I got the same error with using the configuration tool LPCONFIG after implementing -> with SOAMANAGER everything worked allright directly just create a port with that tool.
    Maybe tha will help you also - for your problem.

  • Error at creating Client Proxy of external webservice (WSDL)

    Hi Experts,
    I try to create a Client Proxy Object out of an external webservice. Here is the WSDL URL:
    [http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?wsdl]
    I try to create it with this URL and then I get the error message
    Not implemented
    Exception of class CX_SIDL_INTERNAL_ERROR
    I found two other threads with a similar problem:
    cunsuming external webservice in ABAP
    Problem while consuming external webservice
    But there is no solution that worked for me. In the first thread it is mentioned, that the code between
    <wsdl:binding name="XXXXHttpGet" type="tns:XXXHttpGet">
    and it's closing brackets should be removed in a local file. I tried that and was able to create a client proxy object out of this local wsdl-file. But then I called the webservice with the folling coding for testing:
    report  z_currency_converter.
    data: convert type ref to zzzco_currency_convertor_soap.
    try.
        create object convert
      exporting
        logical_port_name  = 'Z_LP'
      catch cx_ai_system_fault .
    endtry.
       data: output type zzzconversion_rate_soap_out  .
       data: input type zzzconversion_rate_soap_in .
       input-from_currency = 'EUR'.
       input-to_currency = 'USD'.
    try.
    call method convert->conversion_rate
      exporting
        input  = input
      importing
        output = output
    catch cx_ai_system_fault .
    catch cx_ai_application_fault .
    endtry.
    write output-conversion_rate_result.
    The same code worked fine in another system. In this "older" system could also create a client proxy, I think because it has a newer Support Pack version.
    SAP says the following:
    The problem is that this WSDL uses two bindings different from SOAP
    binding which is not in conformance with Basic Profile 1.1 -
    http://www.ws-i.org/Profiles/BasicProfile-1.1.html#WSDLBINDINGS .
    I looked in the document, but I do not know where the problem in the WSDL file exactly is. What have I to change? Or can somebody give me the URL of a free webservice, that you used for creating a client proxy with a new support pack standing? In the "old" system there is not yet the SOAMANAGER but in the one where it doesn't work.
    I hope you have an idea.
    Thanks a lot in advance!
    Best Regards,
    Ingmar

    I think it is the problem of version.U need to ask SAP to release some patch levels to correct it.

  • Error while invoking the ABAP Proxy via SOAP Adapter

    Hi,
    My scenario involves SOAP Client invoking a webservice hosted in PI which in turn invokes the ABAP Proxy asyncronously.
    SOAP Client -> PI -> ECC (ABAP Proxy) . This works fine.
    Next , I have exposed the ECC Service Interface as webservice using SOA Manager transaction. Now, once the service is created using SOAManager, i replaced the XI Adapter with SOAP Adapter and provided the target URL as the URL provided by the SOAManager.
    SOAP Client -> PI -> ECC (ABAP Proxy via SOAP Adapter)
    With this approach, i am encountering the below error message
    2009-05-29 12:17:55 Error Adapter Framework caught exception: null

    Any ideas on the above errror message? Any pointers or inputs will be appreciated.

  • ABAP-Proxy to SOAP: Error in SOAP Adapter

    Hi!
    I would like to implement ABAP-Proxy to SOAP scenario.
    Unfortunately my SOAP receiver channnel has the following error:
    SOAP: call failed: java.io.IOException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 definitions; HTTP 200 OK
    Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 definitions; HTTP 200 OK: java.io.IOException: No SOAP Envelope but 1 definitions; HTTP 200 OK
    Furthermore the call of  /sap/bc/soap/rfc of business system B is erroneous
    http://<server system B>:8000/sap/bc/soap/rfc
    Here I get the error: HTTP 500 Internal Server error
    Can some one help me to solve this problem?
    Thank you very much!
    regards
    Holger

    Hi,
    Are you using the webservice exposed by SAP or it is third party webservice. Can you explain your complete scenario? What is the url you have given in your receiver SOAP Channel? Was that no configured earlier?
    If at all you are using the SAP webservice, the wsdl link should be.
    http://<server>:<http port>/sap/bc/soap/wsdl11?services=BAPI_MATERIAL_EXISTENCECHECK&sap-client=200
    The target url you will be able to see in the wsdl itself also

  • Error in client proxy generation

    Hi experts,
                    I am trying to consume a web-service from an ABAP progam, to do this I create an Enterprise Service Client Proxy. But creation of the proxy fails with the error message
    "Incorrect value: Unknown Namespace http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/ .
          For client confidentiality issues I cannot put the wsdl file or its content on the thread but I can provide certain details of the code which you might wish to see.
    Also my wsdl contains messages with miltiple parts.Is this also a trouble while generating the proxies in ABAP ?
    Are these two problems related?
      Can I find a link precisely which can provide a kind of checklist to see that these steps have to be followed or  these conditions have to be met by wsdl for generation of client proxies in ABAP?
    Any pointers will be useful.
    Thanks and Regds

    Hi Anton,
                  I will provide you some piece of the file which might help you in analysing the problem....
    <wsdl:definitions xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:tm="http://microsoft.com/wsdl/mime/textMatching/" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:mime="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/mime/"
    xmlns:tns="http://www.abc.com"
    xmlns:s1="http://www.abc.com/AbstractTypes"
    xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:soap12="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap12/" xmlns:http="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/http/"
    targetNamespace="http://www.abc.com"
    xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/">
        <s:schema targetNamespace="http://www.abc.com/AbstractTypes">
          <s:import namespace="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" />
          <s:complexType name="StringArray">
            <s:complexContent mixed="false">
              <s:restriction base="soapenc:Array">

              </s:restriction>
            </s:complexContent>
          </s:complexType>
        </s:schema>
    Similarly the WSDL has messages with multiple parts like:
      <wsdl:message name="GetReleasedGenericDrawing2DHttpGetIn">
        <wsdl:part name="DocumentNo" type="s:string" />
        <wsdl:part name="SheetNo" type="s:string" />
        <wsdl:part name="ClassName" type="s:string" />
      </wsdl:message>
    If you need some ther details from the file please let me know. I have cross checked that it is using a Document/literal style so it should not be a problem.
      I have gone through the SAP note (944029) for the list some forbidden keywords which were a problem  prior to release of SP 16 .We dont have even that problem.
    This thing is very new to me ....please let me know if you wnat some other detail for analysis.

  • Client Proxy Question

    Hi all,
    Initially, when we have created a client proxy in ECC 5.0 with Oracle on Windows,
    we have chosen Local File as the WSDL source. We had the WSDL saved locally.
    This way we have generated a Client Proxy in SE80.
    Then we created a logical port using LPCONFIG.
    Since this the default logical port, we just saved it with all the settings imported
    from the WSDL definition.
    This way the Client proxy was working fine.
    The doubt that I have is, later on, if we want to just change the URL under
    call paramters in LPCONFIG to the URL of the WSDL residing on some
    other server(Non SAP), will the client proxy work?

    However, there is a return code 503. And SAP is not able to access the

  • Handling streaming attachments in Client Proxy

    I'm no java programmer in any shape or form so I'm really struggling with a web service that I've created that utilizes streaming attachments. THe OEM test web page returns the attachment perfectly well in the SOAP response but I'm unable to harness the Java to deal with it in the client proxy code.
    I created a proxy using the wsa command line utility but there is some java expertise required to code the 'main' class. Does anyone have an example of java code that takes the 'oracle.webservices.attachments' and returns it in a useful form to a calling application? In essence, what I'm looking to do is to call the proxy from pl/sql, and return the attachment as a CLOB.
    Does anyone know of any examples of proxy java code handling this type of thing?

    I've managed to create a proxy that saves the streaming attachment to a local directory (thanks to the info at this post: Re: Streaming Attachments
    The problem I have is that I have to hardcode parameters into the HttpSoap11Client code like this:
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    try {
    getxmlweb.proxy.HttpSoap11Client myPort = new getxmlweb.proxy.HttpSoap11Client();
    System.out.println("calling " + myPort.getEndpoint());
    // Add your own code here
    String pResId = null ;
    String pFileName= null;
    String pFilterStr = "sepa_region='North'";
    String fileName = "/tmp/plain1.txt";
    AttachmentFactory factory = AttachmentFactory.newInstance();
    Attachments atts = factory.createAttachments();
    myPort.getClob(pResId,pFileName,pFilterStr, atts);
    The last line here is the call to the method that creates the response, I need to pass parameters to this call DYNAMICALLY. I've tried setting up parameters in the 'public void main' signature but it doesn't compile telling me it must be public static void main(String[] args). This is where my lack of JAVA skills are letting me down.
    Can anyone see a way around this?

  • Error when create client proxy in ABAP

    hi all
        when I tried to create a client proxy through wsdl: http://www.webservicex.net/geoipservice.asmx?wsdl , I got and error message "Exception occurred in library handler", what's the really matter with this error ?
    thanks very much!

    You need to copy the WSDL file to a local file and edit it.  The WSDL file contains non-SOAP bindings and that's what the generator is choking on.  Use the 'Local file' option to generate the proxy class after editing the file.
