CM01, 02, 03 and 04 List Selection in Overall Profile

Does anyone know how to create a List Profile for CM01 u2026 CM4 to include in an evaluation profile so that when a user gets in the transaction, they see the predefined set of data? I already have an overall profile and an evaluation profile. Thanks.

In OPA4 you can define the list profile and assign the same in overall profile in OPA6.

Using COIS tranasction you can create Custom Overall Profile and Custom Object profile in that.
Once you create the Custom overall profile, open the details of the profile,
within which you will have profile for objects. Here you can define object profiles, select the fields you want to display or hide basing on your requirment.

How can I make a list and after selecting a value, avoid displaying it.

Let's say I have a ListBox or a ListOfValues(in Forms), and I have as Data.
"LEVEL 1"
"LEVEL 2"
"LEVEL 3"
"LEVEL 4"
and I select "LEVEL 2".
next time I display the list, (been selected "LEVEL2"), it doesnt display it anymore (unless I clean it or select another value).

I've search on google but I did not found any tutorial for this particular thing. I found instead this code :

3 buttons and 2 select lists in a single line

Hi,
I have an application which has 3 region buttons ( say, b_1, b_2, b_3) and 2 selects lists (say, sl_1, sl_2). I want to display all the five buttons and items in a single line in the following order:
b_1 b_2 sl_1 b_3 sl_2
I have set Begin on new line = no
and Begin on new field = no, for both the two select lists.
But it does not seem to work.
Do anyone have any idea, how to sort out this issue?

I have created two select lists P1_X and P1_Y. These items are hidden on page load event. When the associated button is clicked the list should appear on the page.
Written the following code in 'Pre element text' for each of the items:
P1_X :: <input type="button" value="X" onclick="f_X();" class="t17Button" />
P1_Y:: <input type="button" value="Y" onclick="f_Y();" class="t17Button" />
Where, f_X() and f_Y() are displaying the select lists.
As you can see, the select lists are appearing just below the html buttons, which I want side by side with the buttons.
Could you please figure out the issue?

Saving and restoring list selections

I've got a list control in a popup window, supplied by a
dataProvider. The user makes selections, clicks OK, and the
selections are processed -- it all works fine.
However, since it's a popup window, when it's closed the
SELECTION is lost. When the window is opened again, the list has
nothing selected (as expected).
My question is, how do I save what items were selected, and
then show them as selected again when I re-display the list?

What if the data provider is NOT at the root, but in a
component?
In my root app, I have an MXML component referenced
(id="s1"). It's THAT component that's calling the popup and
contains the dataProvider.
How does the window refer to the component that called it?
I'm trying to leave this generic, rather than specific, so I can
use the same popup component several places in the app.
There are multiple components (s1, s2, s3 etc) that call this
window, and I keep the dataProviders in each of these components.
So the window needs to be able to "find" the _aSelectedItems
relating to the screen that "celled" it.

How can I get a drop-down list selection also be selected in another field with the same list but a different name?

I have a street address and a billing address. A question is posed with a checkbox — "Is the billing address the same as the street address?" If Yes is checked, the street address automatically fills the billing fields. If No is checked, the user must fill in new information. In both the street address and billing addres, the State field is a drop-down list. How can I get the drop-down list selection in the street address State also be selected in drop-down list for the billing address State?

I want to get rid of the Bing screen but there is no "menu at the top of the Firefox window" for me to "select Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item. "

I suddenly have a "Bing" screen when I sign onto Firefox---and I want to get rid of it. The support section of Firefox says
1. "From the menu at the top of the Firefox window, seledt Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item."---but I see no "menu item" nor Tools, much less Add-ons.
2. "In the Add-ons window, click on the Extensions panel."---but how do I find the Add-ons window?
3. Find the Bing Bar and Search Helper Extension in the list and click Disable for each of them."---but what and where exactly is that?
At the top of the screen is only a Yahoo icon on the left and to the right of it a search box, "Web Search,", "My Apps," Yellow Pages," "Weather," "Updates," and "Skype." to the right of those there is a green cross saying "Add more apps. to your toolbar" and to the right of that a sort of gear shift looking icon saying "toobar settings."
So, in short, how do I get rid of the Bing screen and how do I access those Tools?

UI - How to make Columns in a Drop Down List Selection?

I am altering a code from Peter Kahrel "Beginning Script UI". I am trying to make a searchable drop down list that will have 4 columns. So far, the search works and I have headings in the search, but I cannot seem to make the columns for the actual data. I believe I need to change the type_ahead since the array is looking at this data. I'm stuck in the water. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get the list to show up as columns? How do I turn the picked = type_ahead data into four columns? Code and Screenshot below:

This is one of those developments that push the limits of my knowledge-base and when things do that, I lose sleep until I figure it out. With that said :-) here is where I have ended up.
Basically I made a new array for the table data. I then use an array lookup to sort the array in the listbox based on the 0 array item. See the code below. Once it is loaded type in "b" and the list will start to sort.
I need to try to get this to work as a pallete instead of a dialog box. Do palletes support this type of functionality?

Controls in ITEM and LIST tabs of Ribbon disabled always in Punishing SharePoint 2013 site if i add list to home page as List View Webpart

Below is the scenario,
If i created any custom list and navigating to the list (AllItems.aspx) and on selecting the item, i can see controls in ITEM and LIST tabs of Ribbon are enabled in SharePoint 2013 publishing site.
If i add the same list in the home page (add web part --> select list view webpart) in the publishing site, on selecting of item, all controls in ITEM and LIST tabs of Ribbon are disabled always.
Please help me to fix this issue ASAP.

Ribbon controls (only ITEM and LIST tab) still in disabled mode even if i selected the item in the list view webpart.
Also, i have noticed the below things,
when i create a published site (default page : default.aspx) and add the list view webpart in the default page, the controls are in disabled mode on selecting item in list view webpart.
when i create a team site (default page : home.aspx) and add the list view webpart in the default page, the controls are in enable mode on selecting item in list view webpart.
Please help me on this.

Please help! How can I validate Radio Buttons and List Menu with PHP.

Hello everyone, I have been learning PHP step by step and
making little projects.
The point is I find it easy to learn by doing "practical
projects."
I have been reading the David Powers's Book on PHP Solutions
and it's really great, however there is nothing mentioned regarding
Validating Radio buttons. I know the book cannot cover every aspect
of PHP and maybe someone in here can help.
I have been learning how to process HTML forms with PHP.
The problem is every book or tutorial I have read or
encountered fall short on validation.
I'm wondering how I can learn to validate Radio Buttons and
Select List Menu.
I have managed to create validation for all other fields but
have no clue as to how I can get validation for Radio Buttons and
List Menu.
I would also like an error message echoed when the user does
not click a button or make a selection and try to submit the form.
I would appreciate any help.

It's not that default value is "None." In fact it's not. It
will only be
"none" when the form is submitted.
Also if your submit button is names 'send' then
$_POST['send'] will only be
set if the form was submitted.
Make sure you didn't hit the refresh button on your browser
which usually
reposts the information. Also make sure you did not reach the
form from
another form with the same button names.
Otherwise paste the snippet.
Also you can check what fields are set in the post array by
adding this to
the top of (or anywhere on) your page:

List selection bean

Does anyone know where I could grab a "list selection bean" of some sort...I'm thinking the kind of widget that shows two lists. The list on the left is all available options while the list on the right can have 0 to n entries. The user selects items from the left list and puts them in the right, or removes items from the right list putting them back in the left list by pushing buttons with right/left facing arrows (or whatever) located in the center of the dialog between the two lists. Buttons on the bottom include the typical "OK", "Cancel". I'm writing some displays that require this sort of dialog to gather info from a user and am hoping I don't have to re-write the bean as I imagine several people have already accomplished this!

It is actually not too hard to write. Create a JPanel with a TableLayout or a BorderLayout. Insert a JScrollPane each with a JList on the left and right. Grab both JList model's so you can insert/remove directly to the model. Now, in the event handler of --> you do something like:

rightListModel.addElement(o[cntr]);
leftListModel.removeElement(o[cntr]);
This would get any selected items on the left, move them to the right and remove them from the left. You would probably have to add:
rightList.updateUI();
leftList.updateUI();
just to be sure both repain themselves.
I believe that is all I used. Works great. Then, when you are ready, you get the selectedValues() from the rightList object and you are set to do what you need. Moving one or many is the same code, and the reverse is done just as easily. Removing all from either side is just as easy as well.

Disable Spark List selection indicator

How do I get rid of the Spark List selection indicator entirely? I don't want the rectangular indicator when the mouse hovers over an item, and I don't want the color to change when the mouse is clicked.

You'll have to extend default item renderer (ItemRenderer for instance) and set autoDrawBackground to false. And then use your item renderer in a list.

Tile List selection after pressing embedded Image button

Hi;
I am working on SAP Work Manager 6.0 customizing using Agentry 6.1.3. I have this tile list that contains items. At the bottom of this tile list, I have a button that targets the selected item on the tile list. This button has an action which changes the icon of the selected item when pressed and also executes an edit transaction that prints/changes the selected item property values based on rules. After selecting a particular item from the tile list and clicking on this button, the selected item's image changes to the image that I want, but the selection highlighter toggles and always moves to the first item on the tile list. I have tried implementing a list selection but it somehow always ignores this and always toggles back to the first item on the tile list. I would like it to stay on the selected item, whose image has just been changed. How would I go about having the selection highlighter stay on the same item before and after pressing the button?

I think I saw this question in stack overflow. And I answered it :-)
I believe that it is because you can only one item in the list and once the item is selected, re-selecting it will not fire the event.
Try adding more items to the list and select different items.
