CMR SIP alias via Productvity tools

Recently added CMR and running into an issue with SIP Alias for video endpoints.  When scheduled via the Webex portal, the SIP alias is correct ([email protected]).  However when we schedule using Productivity Tools or via Jabber, it schedules the meeting fine but then assigns the video alias differently.  Rather than users firstname.lastname, it assigns the meeting number as the video alias.  So now its [email protected]  I need to figure out how to create a consistent meeting invite.

Hi,
So your current situation is that you are using AnyConnect with Split-tunneling? So you can access the LAN through VPN and Internet through the users local Internet connection?
I wonder if the problem with Full-Tunnel + Internet traffic is due to problem with NATing the traffic from VPN Client pool to the "outside" interface IP?
I think that NAT could be done by the following configuration
object network VPN-POOL
subnet 192.168.0.200 255.255.255.248
nat (outside,outside) after-auto source dynamic VPN-POOL interface
EDIT: The "after-auto" should take the rule at the bottom of the NAT rules, but I'm still thinking should it interfere with the configurations even if it didnt have the parameter.
I've only done this in software 8.2 and below, where it was
global (outside) 1 x.x.x.x
nat (inside) 1 10.10.10.0 255.255.255.0
nat (outside) 1 192.168.0.200 255.255.255.248
But as I said I havent done this with the new software. I can probably test this tomorrow at work though.
- Jouni
EDIT2:
I'm not 100% sure but is the following NAT statement even needed at the current configuration?
nat (inside, outside) source static any any destination static NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.0.200_29 NETWORK_OBJ_192.168.0.200_29
EDIT3:
I also usually use a totally different network for the VPN-pool. Your current LAN seems to be 192.168.0.0/24 and the VPN pool is 192.168.0.200/29. Maybe the top NAT statements are causing problems with the VPN Client Internet traffic.
What I would try to do is change the VPN Client pool to some different network, do the NAT0 between LAN and POOL like you have in the current configuration (just with new VPN Pool) and use the PAT configuration mentioned earlier. Leave out the NAT statement in the "EDIT2" in this post.
Sorry this is alot of guessing from my part before I get to test it myself with a lab ASA.

  • Problems starting GlassFish via GlassFish Tools

    Hi everyone,
I am experiencing problems in starting a GlassFish Server (Open Source Edition 4.1 (build 13)) via GlassFish Tools in Eclipse Luna on my MacBook (OS X Yosemite) as described in these postings. The server is stuck at 69 % on starting up until a TimeoutException appears.
The problem can be solved though by going back to an older version of GlassFish tools (it seems 7.3.2.20141114 is the last version which is working for me).
On my Windows PC no such problems occur, even when running GlassFish tools in the latest version.
Is anyone experiencing similar issues and might provide a hint to fix this?
I really appreciate any help in this matter .
    Thanks,
    Erun

    Hi Erun
I have exactly the same configuration and exactly same problem. Do you still remember how did you solve this problem?
    kind regards

  • Uninstall VIA RAID tool

I mistakenly installed the VIA RAID tool from Live Update - however I only have 1 SATA drive and do not intend to add further drives. The RAID tool now loads at windows start up and I cannot find any options to prevent this or even to unistall. Any ideas?

    Just to conclude..
BIOS doesn't show RAID (at all.. KM4M-V) - I also disabled 2nd SATA drivebut as I suspected the VIA RAID Tool still loaded at start-up. I was unsure about removing SATA RAID driver from device drivers as apart from the offending tool loading at power up everything was working sweetly. So I installed Winpatrol and removed RAID Tool from start-up items.
    Now I'm happy

  • UC560 SIP Configuration via CCA

We are trying to configure SIP trunks VIA CCA (Latest version) on a UC560 latest version.
However the username and password field doesn't save.  When you open CCA SIP trunk configuration the fields are blank, fill them in and save, exist and go back in they are still blank.  If you ftp the config off the unit and search for the field "username" only the phones and admins come up - no mention of SIP.
    Are we missing something?

    Hello,
This sounds like you may have Windows firewall or Anti-virus software running. Also make sure you are using Windows 7 or XP. Windows 8 will not work properly with CCA.
Also if you are using SSL VPN, make sure that only version Anyconnect 2.5.6005 is loaded on the UC. Anything higher will use up the memory and you will not be able to write to the config.
    I hope this helps.

I started getting these messages from a brand new SATA HDD which I immediately replaced. All went well for a week or so and then I started getting the exact same error messages all over again!
Were both HDD's really defective? I am beginning to wonder!
The practical implication of the above errors is that my computer freezes totally - I can't do anything at all - no mouse - no keyboard - no saving work - nothing! When I reboot and run Scandisk /F /R I sometimes get some disk surface errors but mostly I don't.
To my way of thinking there are two possibilities:
    (1) Both these disk drives have genuine technical problems (ie such as surface errors)
    (2) The MSI/Via SATA disk controllers on the motherboard are faulty and this is causing disk errors or possibly even disk crashes (is this even possible? I don't know!)
After the bad run that I have already had with K8T NEO motherboards please forgive me for being suspicious that my HDD problems really could result from a faulty SATA/HDD/Controller rather than genuine disk errors.
To help resolve the issue I downloaded and installed MSI's latest SATA HDD disk drivers which includes the VIA RAID TOOL. The raid tool includes an option to "check the status of controllers and disk drives" and a system "log" which is supposed to record all error conditions/events that occur on devices it controls.
The main problem here is that *IT DOESN'T WORK* !!!
Just a short wile ago my system started acting strangely and then it froze again (third time this hour). I opened the MSI/VIA Raid Tool from the System Tray and checked the logs - There was nothing in them at all - and yet in Windows Error Reporting there were 5 distinct error conditions reported. Obviously the MSI/VIA Raid Tool doesn't work too well.
I am at a loss as to what to do next. Has anybody out there had similar problems?
What steps should I take to resolve these issues?
    Any comments/suggestions?

Not sure how a scope can let you know if you are supplying enough amps. Ripple and noise are basically non issues as the voltages are further regulated on the MB before they get to the componant level.
Almost everything is now regulated from the 12v supply unlike past systems were. As Watts do not tell how much 12v is being supplied by the PSU it is a non starter when you desribe your PSU. You can have a PSU that is 500w and only provides 8a on the 12v rail. That will not even allow an A64 system to startup. As is said over and over again in the forum don't assume that a 500w PSU will ruin your Rig. 24 or more amps on the 12v rail is recommended for a small to mid size build now days. More may be needed as you add parts to your system.
As this is not a common problem on that board, and I should know as I built a fairly large rig from one... We need to have complete specs. Did you know that a high end ATi Vid Card can use more juice than many CPU's you can use on that board? See why this is a concern that we get all the specs?
Like Hans said though I won't bother asking again either. Without some idea what we are looking at all we are doing is looking into a crystal ball. We would like to see if we can help but working with a crystal ball isn't in the tech manual.

  • How to send alias via mail

    Hello all,
When sending an alias to a file or folder on our internal network to a colleague, the entire file and folder is sent off. All I want is the person on the other side to be able to get to the file or folder quickly. Oftentimes, files and folders are huge in size and I just can't find any way to make it work. Any ideas? Would it be possible for the recipient to see where the file is located?
It doesn't have to be via drag&drop, a clickable URL-like link would do as well. Thank you!

    Hi Roger and V.K.,
Thank you for the swift answers.
Is there not an easier way of doing this?
    I don't know of one.
The reason I am asking is that a colleague who is used to a Windows environment is quite frustrated with not being able to send such links.
When I drag a file from the server onto a (plaintext-only, another hurdle for the technically challenged), I get the following:
    /Volumes/interalserver_1/employee23/Forms
    afp://servername.local/Volumes/interal_server_1/employee23/Forms
skip /Volumes. it should be when connecting from another computer.
    afp://servername.local/interal_server_1/employee23/Forms
    doesn't work.
    Any ideas?

  • Creating a Win7 OS install disc via recovery tools?

Is there any way to clean install Win7 (that is, nothing but the OS) from the Lenovo recovery discs I made via the ThinkVantage tool, or is it limited to a full factory-fresh restore only?
If that's the case, is it possible to create a Win7-only install disc from the recovery partition?
    TIA

From what I know, you will need ImageUltra Builder tool installed to do this. The trial version can be downloaded from Lenovo/IBM website. TVT R&R OS installation files were created by this tool. The OEM/CTO build was prepared by Lenovo's ITC team.
However, if you want to do this yourself, I would recommend you to use a Microsoft tool called Windows7-USB-DVD-tool. This tool can automatically expand ISO OS installation file to USB flash memory cards or a DVD. More importantly, it's bootable. You can install WIN7 directly from USB flash memory or a backup DVD.

  • Contribute 4 upgrade via network tool Zenworks

We are preparing to upgrade a significant number of
Contribute 2 programs to Contribute 4. We would like to use an MSI

The msi file can be extracted from the setup exe using Winzip
    a) Providing the serial number is not possible.
    b) Import settings is an in-product feature, and the
    installer plays no
part in this. Not possible again.

  • Wheter i can edit Role via text tools, such as Ultra Edit 32?

I have create new role "z_allmenu" in DEV system. and download this role to localhost. and then i have edit it via Ultra Edit 32 (txt tools).
    Details as below:
    1st. Find all the values which belong to field ACTVT;
2nd. Keeping the safe values of ACTVT, such as 03-Display, 04-Print, 08-DisDocument..
Remove the risky values of ACTVT, such as 01-Create, 02-Change..
3rd. Upload this role in DEV system, and check it with SU01, PFCG. I have get the confirmation that Tester just can display with both SU01&PFCG.
Base on above infomation, I want to know whether i can do this, and will there be any risk when i do this?

    > Base on above infomation, I want to know whether i can do this, and will there be any risk when i do this?
So you want us to tell you your non-standard shortcut is valid? Well, it isn't.
For starters, the SAP PFCG upload functionality has alarmingly few checks in it so messing up the downloaded file will not always lead to error messages when uploading again. It can really mess up your database without you knowing it timely. Keep a skilled ABAPer at hand to clean up afterwards.
Secondly, not all 'dangerous activities" are covered or shielded by an ACTVT field........
So yes, you can do this, and yes there are risks. Examples will be messing up the AGR_* tables in your database as well as having roles that give you a false sense of security.
In my opinion there are no shortcuts to SAP security design and implementation and I'd love to be proven wrong.

  • Recording Voice-Over via Final Cut Pro and Recording Via Pro Tools?

    Hey all,
I'm recording some voice-over for a documentary shot on DV.
Here's my question: all other factors being the same, is there any disadvantage in terms of audio quality of recording into Final Cut (through an m-box2) using the voice-over tool, or recording into M-Powered Pro Tools using the mbox 2 (and then bringing the file to Final Cut)?
Pro Tools obviously allows for a far more sophisticated treatment of the sound after it has been imputed - but in terms of using it for capture?
I know that Pro tools allows 24bit recording, but I'd probably record at 16bit anyway so as to match the sample rate of the rest of my audio in the project.
I'd be using the same mic-xlr-mbox2 set-up and the same computer, does anyone have any views on the difference in the quality of the recorded audio?
    Thanks

actually an in point by itself won't help you
a valid recording range needs both In and Out point, or simply a clip in the timeline which by its presence denotes the recording range
the recording range must be less than 5 minutes
in a blank timeline some like to throw a slug in there to mark the recording range, i find it easiest to just enter a duration in the canvas (i type 4.. in the duration field at top left of the canvas and it automatically marks a 4 minute range)

  • Change Slideshow Thumbnail Photo States Via Crop Tool?

In a slideshow widget, I've noticed the only way I can change one of the thumbnail image's "states" to a different image (like a sepia version of the same image) is to double click on the thumbnail "image frame" and then slide the current image out of frame (using the crop tool also allows the same thing) and then I am left with a blank "image frame." Into that blank image frame, I can then FILL it with another image (the sepia version) and apply all different "states" (rollover, etc) to that image frame WHILE maintaining the original full size image that the thumbnail (target) is originally linked too.
So basically I then have a hidden cropped thumbnail image frame and my true (sepia version) image frame. Everything seems to preview properly, but what if any effect does all this "hidden" code info have? Anything. If I have 200 or so thumbnail images attached to a slideshow and each would have one of these "hidden" cropped boxes.
    Thoughts anyone?

I have not a link yet, i'm preparing the graphic layout at the time. I bypassed the problem importing in muse the right photos size without use crop. Maybe i should see better edit photo functions tutorials. I'm new with Muse.

  • Initiating a SIP call via Hyperlink

So we're using lync 2013, and I would like to be able to send out a hyperlink in an email that will actually initiate a SIP video call once clicked. Just so everyone understands the use case is wanting to dial into a cloud based service video service
that interworks h.323/SIP standards based systems with Lync
    I can use:
Sip:[email protected] as a hyperlink and that will bring up the presence of the SIP contact since as we're federated with there domain.  Ultimately it would be nice if it initiated the call just like clicking "online meeting"
This is the code that the join online meeting uses:  conf:sip:https://meet.example.com/user/7322994 and I tried replacing the URL with a SIP address with no go, because it looks like it tries to find a meeting that is supposed to happen on the AVMCU.
So ultimately if there is a way to have a hyperlink, so Lync will initiate a SIP video call that would be great.
