Code problem as a result of upgrade to 1.5.0_02

Hi,
The following code runs fine on ver 1.3.1_02
Vector invec = new Vector();
try{
  FileReader  myreader = new FileReader(filename);
  BufferedReader mybuffer = new BufferedReader(myreader);
  String temp;
while((temp = mybuffer.readLine()) != null)
   invec.addElement(temp);
  myreader.close();
}catch(IOException e){
   System.out.println("File Not Found");
}finally{
       System.exit(0);
}When I use ver 1.5.0_02 it compiles with the following message:
parseFile.java:25: warning: [unchecked] unchecked call to addElement(E) as a member of the raw type java.util.Vector
invec.addElement(temp);
^
1 warning
It obviously doesnt like the line :
invec.addElement(temp);
Can anybody explain why or how I can fix this problem? Thanks

This is a warning related to generics (read up on generics in the Java 5.0 docs). Your app will work fine.
However, if you wish to update your code to current standards (so it will compile without this warning), try something like this:          List<String> lines = new ArrayList<String>();
          try {
               FileReader myreader = new FileReader(filename);
               BufferedReader mybuffer = new BufferedReader(myreader);
               String temp;
               while ((temp = mybuffer.readLine()) != null)
                    lines.add(temp);
               myreader.close();
          catch (IOException e) {
               System.out.println("File Not Found");
          finally {
               System.exit(0);
          }
