Code syntax for logical ABM components

Hello,
I have a simple programming question. I have a simple condition along the lines of,
If  -1.5< Vd <1.5, then condition 1
Otherwise, condition 2
How does one do this in the ABM code syntax? I know in C+ it'd be along the lines of what I'd written above or use the && statement, however , I am not sure what is correct in Multisim.
Thanks for any help

Hello,
Check the Multisim Help menu. Go to the search tab and type "supported mathematical function". You'll find All the functions with ekamples on using the ABM.
For if you wanted the voltage of something based on some condition then,
V={if(testCondition, condition1, condition2)}
You can also see this white paper for more specific examples.

  • Syntax for logical OR,AND and not equal to

    Hi All,
    In the rtf template we are in need of using logical OR,AND and not equal to .
    <?choose:?><?when:(M= 0 & N=1) | (M= 1 & N=0)?>
    <?end when?>
    <?choose:?><?when:(M!= 0 & N=!1)?>
    <?end when?>
    <?otherwise:?><?end otherwise?><?end choose?>
    Is the syntax used above is correct?
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
    Been a while since I look at this sort of thing, but from what I can remember, here goes:
    When you specify an element name in your XML you are actually specifying some XPath. This means you need to use XPath syntax in your <?when....?> clause.
    I think you would need to re-write your statements as follows:
    <?choose:?>
    <?when:(M=0 and N=1) or (M=1 and N=0)?>
    <? end when?>
    <?when:not(M=0 and N=1)?>
    <?end when?>
    <?otherwise:?>
    <?end otherwise?>
    <?end choose?>
    I hope this helps you.

  • JSP Syntax for binding JSF components

    I am trying to bind to a map with session scope and the key into the map is
    a string value. It seems that this binding does not work as the key is not found
    before rendering.
    <f:selectItems id="listbox1SelectItems" value="#{idGeneratorBean.myIds['key']}"/>
    The key is a hidden field on the page, and if hard-coded in the above, it will find that data.
    I've seen other postings where the binding is done in the component's initialization code.
    If it is done that way, what should the jsp binding look like?

    Please don't crosspost topics over all places. Stick to one topic.

  • [svn] 4634: First part of glue code for allowing Halo components to use the new Text Layout Framework , in order to get functionality such as bidirectional text.

    Revision: 4634
    Author:   [email protected]
    Date:     2009-01-22 17:38:56 -0800 (Thu, 22 Jan 2009)
    Log Message:
    First part of glue code for allowing Halo components to use the new Text Layout Framework, in order to get functionality such as bidirectional text.
    Background:
    TLF is making this possible by implementing a TLFTextField class. It is a Sprite that uses TLF to implement the same properties and methods as the legacy TextField class in the Player. Thanks to the createInFontContext() bottleneck method in UIComponent, it can be used by a properly-written Halo component (such as those in Flex 3) without any modifications to the component.
    Note: Text should render similarly -- but is unlikely to render identically -- when a component uses TLFTextField vs. TextField. The width and height may be different, affecting layout; text could wrap differently; etc. This is a fact-of-life based on the fact that TLF/FTE and TextField are completely different text engines.
    Whether a Halo component uses TLF or not to render text will be determined in Flex 4 by a new style, textFieldClass. (Gumbo components always use TLF.)
    TLFTextField is currently only partially implemented. It does not yet support scrolling, selection, editing, multiple formats, or htmlText. Therefore it can only be used for simple display text, such as a Button label.
    Details:
    The TextStyles.as bucket 'o text styles now includes a non-inheriting textFieldClass style. It can be set to either mx.core.UITextField or mx.core.UITLFTextField. These are the Flex framework's wrapper classes around the lower-level classes flash.text.TextField (in the Player) and its TLF-based workalike, flashx.textLayout.controls.TLFTextField.
    The global selector in defaults.css currently sets it to mx.core.UITextField using a ClassReference directive. For the time being, all Halo components will continue to use the "real" TextField.
    The new UITLFTextField is a copy of UITextField, except that it extends TLFTextField instead of TextField. This class has been added to FrameworkClasses.as because no classes in framework.swc have a dependency on it. It will get soft-linked into applcations via the textFieldClass style.
    The TLFTextField class currently lives in a fourth TLF SWC, textLayout_textField.swc. This SWC has been added to various build scripts. The external-library-path for building framework.swc now includes all four TLF SWCs, because UITLFTextField can't be compiled and linked without them. However, since they are external they aren't linked into framework.swc.
    Properly-written Halo UIComponents access their text fields only through the IUITextField interface, and they create text fields like this:
    textField = IUITextField(createInFontContext(UITextField));
    (The reason for using createInFontContext() is to support embedded fonts that are embedded in a different SWF.)
    The createInFontContext() method of UIComponent has been modified to use the textFieldClass style to determine whether to create a UITextField or a UITLFTextField.
    With these changes, you can now write code like
    to get two Buttons, the first of which uses UITextField (because this is the value of textFieldClass in the global selector) and the second of which uses UITLFTextField. They look very similar, which is good!
    Currently, both Buttons are being measured by using an offscreen TextField. A subsequent checkin will make components rendering using UITLFTextField measure themselves using an offscreen TLFTextField so that measurement and rendering are consistent.

  • Logic authorisation codes for logic 7.1

    hi folks, got my self a wee problem here in Scotland.
    I recently tried to install a new operating system on my Mac, tiger to be exact. for some reason I couldn't install it on my main hard-drive. there was an installation error and it wouldn't go any further in the installation process. as you all know logic 7.1 needs this operating system to work. this is my first problem, why doesn't it allow me to install it on my main hard-drive on my comp???
    my second problem is this. I have a carillon external hard drive which I use for my audio and arrangement files. when i tried to install the new operating system on my crrilion hard-drive the set-up process worked fine and if i boot up from my carilion drive the operating system works fine. i then proceeded to install logic 7.1 and it works fine, now that i have installed the operating system on my external hard drive. (is this an ok way to use my new software up-grades?) the only problem i have is that i cant connect to the internet when i use the new operating system on my carrilion drive. therefore i cant verify my logic 7.1 software via the net. i really want to authorise it now and when i start the software it states that my software will only work for 5 weeks with no authorisation code. the question i ask is how do i get my authorisation code from the logic website using another computer? i want to activate it manually for now untill i get my internet connection sorted.
    is there anyone else out there who has experienced the problems stated above and could you please help me out as im getting severly frustated and dont know how to give myself peace of mind. could you please help?
    thankyou to everyone who hears my pain. x

    The first problem you need to address is WHY you can't install Tiger on your mac HD.
    Do you have enough disk space?
    Would you consider backing up your data and re-formatting your Mac HD?
    Then installing Tiger?

    Hi,
    <u>SUBMIT</u>
    Calls an executable program of type 1.
    Syntax
    SUBMIT <rep> [AND RETURN] [VIA SELECTION-SCREEN]
                              [USING SELECTION-SET <var>]
                              [WITH <sel> <criterion>]
                              [WITH FREE SELECTIONS <freesel>]
                              [WITH SELECTION-TABLE <rspar>]
                              [LINE-SIZE <width>]
                              [LINE-COUNT <length>].
    Calls the program <rep>. If you omit the AND RETURN addition, the current program is terminated. Otherwise, the data from the current program is retained, and processing returns to the calling program when <rep> has finished running. The other additions control the selection screen and set attributes of the default list in the called program.

  • Submit syntax for dynamic selections for T-code FAGLL03

    Hi Experts,
    My z report contains following fields in selction screen.
    1 . G/ L account
    2. Comapny code
    3. posting date
    4. Profit Center
    5. layout
    In my z report i used following syntax for passing selection screen values to standard program and getting data.
    This is for T-code FAGLL03
    SUBMIT FAGL_ACCOUNT_ITEMS_GL
    WITH SD_SAKNR IN S_SAKNR
    WITH SD_BUKRS IN S_BUKRS
    WITH %%DYN001-LOW (Profit Center)
    EXPORTING LIST TO MEMORY
    AND RETURN.
    The above syntax is not working for dynamic selection field ( Profit Center), entire Profit center data is fetching from standard program. I want to fetch profit center data based on my z report selection values .
    Expect for profit center field , submit syntax is working.
    kindly provide submit syntax for my above requirement .
    Any suggestions from experts....

    Indeed it won't work. Instead of passing parameters one by one use
    [SUIBMIT... WITH SELECTION-TABLE rspar|http://help.sap.com/abapdocu_70/en/ABAPSUBMIT_SELSCREEN_PARAMETERS.htm#!ABAP_ADDITION_3@3@]
    Here you add one line per parameter (field KIND = 'P' ) and multiple lines per select options (field KIND = 'S' ). For the latter you need also provide SIGN and OPTIONS, i.e SIGN = 'I' , OPTIONS = 'EQ'
    The lin I gave you will explain it more.

  • I had a code to get logics pro for free and after it installed its asking me for a serial number does anyone know what to do from here.

    I had a code to get logics pro for free and after it installed its asking me for a serial number but it never gave me one to put in, it just started downloading and then asked me. Does anyone know what to do from here.

    I really don't think that is anywhere near on track.
    Most likely the trial version was installed earlier, is that correct?

  • Syntax for how to call method of one comp in other comp     wd java.

    Let us assume,
    there is method1 in view1 comp1.
    tell me syntax for calling method 1 in view2 comp2
    thanks in advance.
    Edited by: madhu1011 on Nov 9, 2011 11:31 AM

    Hi Madhu,
    This is the situation:
    comp1-> method 1 , view1
    comp2-> view2
    You need to access method1  in view2 of comp2.
    For that, do the following steps:
    1.) First create a method (for eg: method1) in comp1 (under implementation of view1).
            eg: public void method1(){
                    <......some logic...>
    2.)Save the meta data.
    3.) In comp2, you will find an option called used components. In that right click and add the component comp2. (Carefully select comp1 itslef).
    4.)Save the meta data.
    5.) Then go to view2 of comp2 and take implementaion part and right the following logic in wddoinit() (or any other standard or custom method).
    wdThis.wdGetComp2Interface().getMethod("method1");
    By this way, we can access the method1 of comp1 in comp2.

    hi,
    Can any one tell me the syntax for calling a subscreen.
    my task is to display both bar chart and pie chart adjacently in a single screen.
    Thanks.
    samyu.

    First you define a Subscreen area in the layout of the Screen where you want to call the Subscreen.
    For example the main Screen is ' 0100'.
    The Subscreen Area is ' SSA1' and the Subscreen is ' 0200'.
    Then in the Flow logic of screen ' 0100' write the following code.
    PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
    MODULE STATUS_0100.
    CALL SUBSCREEN SSA1 INCLUDING SY_REPID '0200'.
    PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
    MODULE USER_COMMAND_0100.
    CALL SUBSCREEN SSA1.
    ===========================================
    The Syntax is :
    CALL SUBSCREEN Subscreen Area INCLUDING Program name 'Subscreen Number'..

  • Nano syntax highlighting: catch-all syntax for configuration files

    After years of using nano, I only recently learned that it supports syntax coloring... (Why would they turn that off by default? ) Well, I thought I'll make up for it by making extra good use of it from now on...
    Unfortunately it didn't ship a highlighting syntax for the the kind of files that I use nano the most for: system configuration files.
    So I wrote my own, and after tweaking a bit here and there whenever I encountered a config file for which the highlighting wasn't satisfactory at first, I think the result is now good enough (screenshots below) that it's worth sharing with my fellow Arch users:
    Code & Instructions:
    Here is the syntax definition:
    # config file highlighting
    syntax "conf" "(\.(conf|config|cfg|cnf|rc|lst|list|defs|ini|desktop|mime|types|preset|cache|seat|service|htaccess)$|(^|/)(\w*crontab|mirrorlist|group|hosts|passwd|rpc|netconfig|shadow|fstab|inittab|inputrc|protocols|sudoers)$|conf.d/|.config/)"
    # default text
    color magenta "^.*$"
    # special values
    icolor brightblue "(^|\s|=)(default|true|false|on|off|yes|no)(\s|$)"
    # keys
    icolor cyan "^\s*(set\s+)?[A-Z0-9_\/\.\%\@+-]+\s*([:]|\>)"
    # commands
    color blue "^\s*set\s+\<"
    # punctuation
    color blue "[.]"
    # numbers
    color red "(^|\s|[[/:|<>(){}=,]|\])[-+]?[0-9](\.?[0-9])*%?($|\>)"
    # keys
    icolor cyan "^\s*(\$if )?([A-Z0-9_\/\.\%\@+-]|\s)+="
    # punctuation
    color blue "/"
    color brightwhite "(\]|[()<>[{},;:=])"
    color brightwhite "(^|\[|\{|\:)\s*-(\s|$)"
    # section headings
    icolor brightyellow "^\s*(\[([A-Z0-9_\.-]|\s)+\])+\s*$"
    color brightcyan "^\s*((Sub)?Section\s*(=|\>)|End(Sub)?Section\s*$)"
    color brightcyan "^\s*\$(end)?if(\s|$)"
    # URLs
    icolor green "\b(([A-Z]+://|www[.])[A-Z0-9/:#?&$=_\.\-]+)(\b|$| )"
    # XML-like tags
    icolor brightcyan "</?\w+((\s*\w+\s*=)?\s*("[^"]*"|'[^']*'|!?[A-Z0-9_:/]))*(\s*/)?>"
    # strings
    color yellow "\"(\\.|[^"])*\"" "'(\\.|[^'])*'"
    # comments
    color white "#.*$"
    color blue "^\s*##.*$"
    color white "^;.*$"
    color white start="<!--" end="-->"
    To install, save the above above code snippet as a file called conf.nanorc in the folder /usr/share/nano/ (or /usr/local/share/nano/ or similar if you feel strongly about the /usr <--> /usr/local separation), and then add the following to the end of the file /etc/nanorc:
    ## Configuration files (catch-all syntax)
    include "/usr/share/nano/conf.nanorc"
    Hints:
    The colors I chose look good (imo) with the terminal background and color settings that I use, but might not look good, or even readable, with yours, so simply change the color names in the code snippet to whatever you prefer - valid color names are:
    If you use a console with white background, you'll have to change at least the white color I chose for comments and punctuation.
    The first code line in the snippet includes a regular expression that defines for which file names this syntax highlighting should be used. Whenever you encounter a config file that is not matched by this, but you would still like to open it with syntax highlighting, you can manually select this syntax with nano's -Y switch, like so:
    nano -Y conf myConfigFile
    Technical Note:
    It's implemented as a single catch-all syntax, since nano chooses which syntax to apply based on the filename, and in the case of config files usually not much can be learned about the content format from the file name extension (.conf can by anything from flat key/value tuples to XML, .ini can be the official INI format or something else, etc...).
    This means that some compromises have been made, so with this highlighting syntax probably no config file looks 100% as good as a highlighting syntax that would be specifically optimized for one kind of config format, but all in all the vast majority of config files should look pretty good.
    Screenshots:
    /etc/rc.conf,  /etc/hosts:
    /etc/pacman.conf,  /etc/group:
    xorg.conf,  some .desktop file:
    httpd.conf (Apache config),  php.ini:
    More screenshots:
    /etc/fonts/fonts.conf (uses XML)
    /etc/inittab
    /etc/fstab
    /etc/inputrc
    /etc/mime.types
    /etc/protocols
    /etc/xinetd.conf

    doug piston wrote:I deal with alot of .mk files and would love to see it there.
    You mean GNU makefiles?
    I'm afraid they might be out of scope for this generic config-file syntax.
    Logically they're not system config files, and technically they're a pretty specialized and complex format (different "types" of rules, rules spanning multiple lines, rules containing arbitrary Bash code, etc.).
    This is how an .mk file currently looks with this highlighting syntax:
    $ nano -Y conf /usr/lib/httpd/build/rules.mk
    And apart from highlighting variables of the form $$abc or $(abc), I'm not sure how much can be improved here without breaking the highlighting for more conventional config files.
    It would probably be better to create a specialized highlighting syntax just for .mk files.
    EDIT: I sat down and did just that, here's the result: nano syntax highlighting: GNU makefiles, and here is how the above makefile snipped looks with it:

  • An Intel iMac AND a MacBook Pro for Logic Pro?

    I am torturing myself over this issue lately so any input you guys could offer would be welcome!
    This is the situation:
    After 3 months of serious debating whether to purchase a 20" Intel iMac or a MacBook Pro for Logic Pro, I went ahead about 3 weeks ago and got the iMac. My reasoning behind this was that even though I found the portability of the MBP very desirable, the iMac simply represented a better value with the big screen and bigger hard drive. Since getting it, I must say I love this machine and I have not had one single problem with it. Logic 7.2 runs like a dream on it. By the way, aside from maintaing my iTunes Library, occasional iLife stuff and web surfing with Safari, this iMac is for music production only.
    But here's the problem:
    Still, I can't seem to shake the desire for OCCASSIONAL portability. Keep in mind, I am only a "serious" music hobbyist; I create instrumental hip-hop, trip-hop, electronica style of music mainly with software instruments, loops and breakbeats. So needless to say, I don't tour or do a lot of travelling. But the prospect of being able to compose tracks or make beats in Logic anywhere is DESIRABLE to say the least. I could compose while sitting on the couch watching a game or laying in bed - even though I have no idea of how often I'd actually do that, just having the ability to do it is VERY APPEALING to me. Throw in the fact that the iMac currently shares deskspace with a PC that my wife uses - meaning that I often have to stop what I'm doing to let her use the space. With a laptop, I could move and still continue my flow. Lastly, I unfortunately have bad knees and a bad back so after a couple of hours (or 3 or 4) of sitting at the desk working on Logic, I am seriously hurting. Not comfortable at all. At least owning a MacBook would give me the option to move around to some place more comfortable if I desire.
    So...
    Even though I recently bought a wonderful iMac that works great, I'm seriously considering getting a 1.83 MBP with at least 1GB of RAM and the 100GB/7200 RPM drive to accompany it just for the portability factor. Sure, I could get a used G4 PowerBook or iBook, but all I own is the Universal Binary of Logic Pro; I would have a hard time accepting the decrease in speed I've gotten use to on the Core Duo. Besides, I inherently have a problem buying something (even used) that I know is old and out of date when the latest and greatest is available.
    So here is the $25,000 question: Am I nuts for even considering this? Am I placing too much of a premium on the portability as I would use it?
    This could easily be justified if I was a working musician on the road, but that ain't me. And you can believe that I'm definately not rich and thus don't have money lying around.
    But I have obsessed over this so much lately, I feel that I almost have to get it just to put my mind at ease! I even briefly considered putting the iMac on eBay and just buying a MBP to replace it, but I love the screen real estate I get with the 20" iMac and I question if I'll be truly satisfied with a 15.4" screen FULL TIME. 17" might be better, but I doubt if I can wait until June for them to arrive. In addition, everything would connected via my wireless LAN and .Mac so file sharing should not be an issue.
    Help!!!
    What would you do? Sell the iMac or just get a MBP as cheap as I can?
    Opinions, Please!
    20" iMac Core Duo, 2GHz, 2 GB RAM, 250 GB HD, 128MB VRAM   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

    I love the portability my powerbook gives me. You can use a PB in your setup. You can run an external monitor for either PB or MBP. You can node. Universal Binary menas it is an application which has the components written for both PPC and Intel chips-so you don't need to do conversion. Nodes won't require you buy a nother license. so the answer is down to how much the 2 upgrades and 1 crossgrades will set you back vs how much use you'll get out of them. IMO the iMac is inexpensive (I mean that in a good way-worth hooding on to). Maybe just look at a refurb PB unless you really have the extra cash.

    Hi,
    Just go to OB28, define a validation (if you do not use one already), define one step, define the prerequisites on BSEG level of the account and define the check.
    For example, you can use the validation for the following situation: You want to make sure that postings to the expense account "Telephone costs" can only be posted to the services cost center "Telephone". You can carry out the checks needed for this by using the validation.
    Activities
    If you want to define new validations, go through the following activities:
    1. Place the cursor on a line in which company code and callup point are entered (you can enter company code and validation callup point via Edit -> New entries).
    2. Afterwards select Environment -> Validation. You reach the first screen for maintaining a validation.
    3. Select Validation -> Create. Enter the required name. After pressing ENTER, you come to an overview screen of the validation activities belonging to the validation.
    4. Select Insert entry. On the next screen you can describe a new validation activity. You describe the check requirements and the actual check for this. The syntax to be used for this is described in the online help (F1 help) for the input fields for Requirements and Check. You can also define a message (warning or error message) which is sent if the check is not successful.
    If you want to change validations which already exist, proceed as follows:
    1. Place the cursor on an already existing entry and select Goto -> Validation.
    2. On the next screen select Validation -> Display or Validation -> Change. After pressing ENTER, you get to the overview screen of the validation activities belonging to the validation. If you select Insert entry, you can carry out changes if necessary.

    Eli

  • Using transaction code KEAI for CO-PA to FI validation

    I wanted to see if anyone has experience using transaction code KEAI (Analysis of Value Flow FI-COPA).  I know there is also transaction code KEAT for SD to CO-PA to FI validation.  However for our needs KEAI seems a bit more user friendly.  I have not really found any documenation on KEAI online or in SAP help.  The program for this transaction code is RKE_RECONCILIATION_FI.  Does anyone know the key difference between KEAI and KEAT.  Any input you have would be appreciated.

    KEAI is analyzes all value flows to CO-PA as against KEAT which deals with Transfer of Billing Documents.
    The reconciliation covers all record types - A to I and Z (PA postings only)
    You can restrict the report for components like - billing, CO objects, FI Docs
    You can see the result by all documents, documents only with delta, documents only with delta to CO-PA
    You can display summarized report if required and expand.
    The output shows delta in detailed columns like - Account / Source Document / PA Value Field, FI Value, Document Value, PA Relevant Value, CO-PA Value, FI Doc. Delta, PA Doc Delta, Crcy.
    The report is collapsible - company code > account > Document > Value Field
