Collapsing function incorrectly collapses the following functions
I'm trying out Flash Builder 4.6 and having an odd problem when collapsing functions. Sometimes after writing a new function, the IDE seems to decide that all functions that follow that function are nested with it; in other words, if I collapse that function, it collapses all of the following functions, even though they are the same heirarchy level and shouldn't collapse with it.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks.
Hi,
I think that you post in wrong forum.

Function modules for the following
Hi,
I want to know the function modules for the following purposes.
1) Check whether a date is valid or not
2) Calculate the no of days between two dates.
Expecting an early response.
Thanks n Regards,
AmitHi,
PARAMETERS: p_list LIKE t009b-bumon AS LISTBOX
VISIBLE LENGTH 11 OBLIGATORY ,
p_list1 LIKE t009b-bdatj OBLIGATORY.
SELECTION-SCREEN POSITION POS_HIGH.
PARAMETERS: p_list2 LIKE t009b-bumon AS LISTBOX
VISIBLE LENGTH 11 OBLIGATORY,
p_list3 LIKE t009b-bdatj OBLIGATORY.
Calling Function Module for calculating no of days between the
selected period
CALL FUNCTION 'NUMBER_OF_DAYS_PER_MONTH_GET'
EXPORTING
par_month = p_list
par_year = p_list1
IMPORTING
par_days = ws_n_days.
CALL FUNCTION 'NUMBER_OF_DAYS_PER_MONTH_GET'
EXPORTING
par_month = p_list2
par_year = p_list3
IMPORTING
par_days = ws_n_days1.
For Concatenating the month and year into the date format
CONCATENATE p_list1 p_list ws_i INTO ws_c_date1.
CONCATENATE p_list3 p_list2 ws_n_days1 INTO ws_c_date2.
date = ws_c_date1 - ws_c_date2.
In the above sample code the selection screen has month and year as input.
Also check this link
http://www.sapdevelopment.co.uk/tips/date/datehome.htm
Check FM
<b>RP_CALC_DATE_IN_INTERVAL</b> Add/subtract years/months/days from a date
<b>SD_DATETIME_DIFFERENCE</b> Give the difference in Days and Time for 2 dates
<b>Also for checking valid date:</b>
U can specify the date field as
Select-options: s_date like likp-date(similar to ur requirement)
This itself ceck for the valid date no seperate validation needed.
Thanks & Regards,

How to do the following XML/XSLT operation in a Java Oracle function?
I'd like to write a Java method with the following signature...
public static oracle.xdb.XMLType bwdtransform(java.lang.String suname, oracle.sql.CLOB documentText)
The documentText is simply a CLOB that contains the XML. It needs to have two XSLT stylesheets applied to it, then made into an XMLType and returned.
Another requirement is that the stylesheets have to have the Java XPath extensibility, which is available using the namespace "xmlns:java.lang.String="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/java.lang.String".
I've tried a couple of different ways using oracle.xdb.XMLType.transform() and the classes in the oracle package oracle.xml.parser.v2.*, which is what the listing I pasted in below is based on, but I haven't been able to get anything to work. I THINK the XMLType.transform failed because I was using the Java XPath extensions.
I'd appreciate it if there's a standard Oracle recommended way to do this operation, preferably as optimized as possible.
Here btw is the current code I'm using which isn't working. Any variables that you see that aren't initialized in the function are static to the class and initialized in a static {} block including the stylesheets which are instances of XSLStylesheet.
public static XMLType bwdtransform(java.lang.String suname, oracle.sql.CLOB documentText) throws Exception {
parser.parse(new ByteArrayInputStream(clobToString(documentText).getBytes()));
XMLDocument documentTextXMLDocument = parser.getDocument();
XMLDocumentFragment docFrag = processor.processXSL(twiddlerXSLStylesheet, processor.processXSL(adopterXSLStylesheet, documentTextXMLDocument));
Document intermediateDoc = docFrag.getOwnerDocument();
XMLType x = new XMLType(conn, intermediateDoc);
return x;
I haven't been able to find any way to make this work and any any help in that direction would be oh so greatly appreciated.
For completeness, here's the version of Oracle I'm running, according to sqlplus...
SQL*Plus: Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production on Thu Apr 30 20:24:53 2009
Thanks!
RalphThe XMLDB way of doing this like this would be something like the following examples:
SELECT XMLtransform(x.xmlcol,
DBURIType('/XDB/STYLESHEET_TAB/ROW[ID=1]
/STYLESHEET/text()').getXML()).getStringVal()
AS result
FROM po_tab x; or
SELECT XMLtransform(x.xmlcol,
(SELECT stylesheet FROM stylesheet_tab WHERE id=1)).getStringVal()
AS result
FROM po_tab x; or use DBMS_XSLPROCESSOR... -
Will Windows 10 offer the following functionality
Windows 10 installation experienced NO issues regarding support, driver installation, or crashes during use.
Out of interest will Windows 10 offer the following functionality - either on release or by Update/SP 1 ?
Support for compressed files other than .zip (i.e. RAR)
Tabbed browsing in Windows exporer
Media functionality that will allow the playing of presentation DVDs (Enterprise)
Inclusion of MS Office - in a similar manner to Surface - for Home users (Home, Student & Standalone systems)
Thanking youWindows supports 3rd party applications, such as 7-Zip, which in turn gives you things like .rar support.
If you crave tabs I suggest that perhaps you may not have enough desktop space. More / bigger monitors are a better, more direct solution, in my opinion, opposed to tabbed
anything. Microsoft, if you're listening and are considering making additional tabbed interfaces, please, PLEASE make them options that can be deconfigured.
Why Microsoft has eliminated media capabilities since Windows 7 is really anyone's guess, but I'm betting it has to do with licensing fees. I for one would pay a premium for a better, more capable edition (e.g., "Windows xx
Ultimate", which is the edition I chose for Win 7 and Win Vista before that).
I don't imagine Microsoft will be giving away Office any time soon. But we can dream.

Following an upgrade from Firefox 6.0.2 to Firefox 7.0, this error appeared in response to accessing Firefox! Executing an auto log-on produces the following error message: XULRunner-Couldn't load XRE functions.
Also, following an upgrade from V7.0 to V7.0.1, the same error occurs.
Following the In-place Upgrade from Vista Home Premium x64 to Win 7 HP x64, the RoboForm2Go taskbar is no longer on the program display page, rather it is confined to the bottom taskbar. This is likely due to a reported incompatibility between Roboform2Go and Firefox v7.0 (and 7.0.1).
Further, there was a failure of RoboForm2Go Log-ins from the bottom quick-start taskbar.See [[/questions/880170]]

Hi,
I am getting the following error when using evaluate function
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred. [nQSError: 42015] Cannot function ship the following expression: Evaluate( TO_CHAR(%1),D907.c2) . (HY000)
The syntax I had used in the column expression was
EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1)' AS CHAR,"SA table"."Prior Quarter QTD Dollars")
I am not sure why this is error is occurring because I have successfully used this syntax before. This is an example syntax I had used in another report and it is working well even now
CAST(EVALUATE('TO_CHAR(%1,%2)' AS CHAR,ROUND(("table1"."QTD Actuals")/1000,0) ,'$9,999,999,999,999,990') AS CHAR)I had to use Case and CAST functions to achieve the same logic. I have raised a TAR with Oracle for this issue. Still waiting to hear from them. Using Case and CAST achieved the result but since there is a bug in 10.1.3.4.0 where download will fail if the query generated is more than 64kb, we are upgrading to 10.1.3.4.1.

Add or enhance include functionality for the following configuration elements:
- Adapters
- Channel definitions
- Security Constraints
- Destinations
- Services
The following elements are now allowed and can specify either the "file-path" attribute or the "directory-path" attribute.
The "directory-path" attribute references a directory of XML files (names ending in .xml) that will be treated as a sequence of include files.
Added unit tests for all the above.
Fixed a bug in the unit test code that was terminating the verification early.
Add the confirmation of the security constraints at the top level.

have you tried to connect on the command line (instead of using R3trans) ?
db2 connect to AE1 user sapae1 using .....
If this works and you have verified that the DB2DB6EKEY is set properly, use dscdb6up to update the password in the password file dscbd6.conf.
Then try again to use R3trans to connect.

are you certain, 100% positive, and absolutely sure you have a bean item with above implementation class in your form? I'd double check that...
JInit and IE8? I am not 100% sure, but I am almost certain that this combination didn't work at all. And please don't tell us you used that stupid hack where you replace the jvm.dll of JInit with one of a current JPI installation.
The Oracle Versions you have in place are rather ancient as well, you really should think about upgrading your database and your forms installation. As you already are on webforms moving to the current version of forms shouldn't require much changes in your forms.

Cannot function ship the following expression: Evaluate
hello
i used a db function in rpd
EVALUATE('X.F_REPLACE_NEG_VAL_TO_ZERO(%1)' AS DOUBLE PRECISION , "Stock"."Fact - Inventory"."Vol")
the functions purpose is to put to zero the measure in case its <0
when i use this measure in answers it works fine; however when i add a measure from another facts table into the report i get the following error:
"Cannot function ship the following expression: Evaluate( X.F_REPLACE_NEG_VAL_TO_ZERO(%1),D902.c6) "
this is a multifacts area, the dimensions used in the report are common for both facts tables (report runs fine with either measures from facts table 1 or from facts table 2); only error is when i put both measures together;
i went through many threads here but could not find any solution that could be applied to above
id appreciate any suggestions
thanks
rgdshello,
i ran some more tests and apparently this is not related to this particular function i.e. even if i use
evaluate('to_number'(1%)','column') it still throws an error
can evaluate be used in multifacts areas? -

Adobe,
It seems the latest build(ADE 1.8 preview 4) *still* lacks the following basic reading functions when used on a Mac running OS X Lion 10.7.4.
1. Inability to navigate and read by paragraph.
2. Inability to navigate and read by line.
3. Inability to navigate and read by word.
4. Inability to navigate and read by character.
5. Inability to annotate.
6. Inability to interact with the text of a document (attempting to interact causes a restart of VO.)
If I am mistaken, would you be so kind as to provide instructions for performing these important basic reading functions? If I am not mistaken, can you please explain why these functions are not available and can you also provide an ETA for when you will make them available?
Also, can you please provide an explanation of the following unlabeled elements that are located on the toolbar at the top of the screen when reading an epub document?
1. Element located to the right of the "Back to Library" button. This element is read by VO as simply "Button."
2. Element located to the right of the "Text Size Menu Button." This element is reported simply as "Blank, Edit Text."
3. The element to the right of the item in number 3 is also simply labeled "Button."
4. The last element encountered on the toolbar is simply labeled "unchecked."
Regards,
Bryan JAdobe,

Need function modules for the following...
Hello experts,
Is there an function module that I can use for:
1. get the last date for a given year
2. get the exchange rate for a given document number in a span of 5 years -
for example, I need to get the exchange rate of doc. number 0000000123
for the year 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005(maximum of 5 years)
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Again, thank you guys and take care!Hi,
To use CALCULATE_EXCHANGE_RATE_N, you just have to pass the required parameters like foreign amount/currency and local amount/currency, instead you can query the table TCURR for the same data, remember to convert the 'DATE' to internal format before sending it in to the fm/table, you can refer the following code, this might help,
WRITE V_date TO LV_DATUM USING EDIT MASK '__.__.____'.
CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_INVDT_INPUT'
EXPORTING
INPUT = LV_DATUM
IMPORTING
OUTPUT = LV_DATUM.
Retrieve the Exchange rate from Custom table for the Exchange
select ukurs from tcurr
into tcurr-ukurs
up to 1 rows
where kurst = 'M'
and fcurr = komk-waerk
and tcurr = komk-HWAER
and gdatu >= LV_DATUM.
endselect.
