Collation error when data mining

I'm trying to process a data mining model but keep getting this error: "Errors in the OLAP storage
engine: The sort order specified for distinct count records is incorrect. Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while processing the..."
I changed my sql server collation to to Latin1_General_CS_AI with a compatibility level of 100, and in SSAS, I set it to Latin1_General_100 and "Case Sensitive" checked...but I still get the same error...am I not setting the collation correctly?

The SQL Server setting is just a default value for new databases, when you don't explicit define the collation in the CREATE DATABASE command; same for the database setting, also just a default value. The effective collation is defined on column level.

The Calendar pop up is Java based. Make sure you have Java installed. Run Process Monitor from www.sysinternals.com and filter on crw32.exe to see what is missing when you click the Calenadar button.

Unexpected database connector error, when data sent from POJO.. Plz Help Me

Thanks for your reply, and did you downloaded my project files ? if not then please download it first.. because i retrieving data from the POJO not from any database.. from database its working fine but in case of POJO its not, because i wanna retrieve data dynamically from directly fields to report, means that user will fill all the information in the text box (Swing) and when he click on the button then the data from the text box should be pushed to report file and also should have to saved in the database.. so please download my project file... and help me...

Error when data autorizations interfere with standard filters.

We have set up data authorizations in SAP B/W where people can either see all countries or one country on the characteristic [WAWL_CTRY].
we used to have a standard filter to only allow a selection of [WAWL_CTRY] in the report.
the report runs fine for the users that see all countries but fails when the user is limited to one country with the error below.
A database error occured. Hi Ingo,
It seems SAP B/W has a very sensitive disposition towards what is in the masterdata and what is not. Or even what is available to the users by means of security. To the contrary to a RDBMS pointing to an ITEM in the cube seems almost like pointing to a physical entity and not data.
I created a filter on Items that are not filtered by the security and thus available to access in the query. thus all the values are available in the list of value / Masterdata.

Adobe Designer 7.0 - XML parsing error when data connection to XML with UTF-16

 I need to change my data connection xml file to use UTF-16 instead of ISO-8859-1. When I connect the file with the UTF-16 encoding, I receive the following error
 
 Invalid XML: Xml parsing error: encoding specified in XML declaration is incorrect (error code 19) ..
 
 The XML declaration is:
 <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?>
 
 I am able to succesfully set the encoding to "UTF-8". UTF-16 should also be possible.
 
 Has anyone seen this error before ? How can I resolve this ?

Described problem got solved: we noticed later that the extra text only appears for users using Adobe professional 7.0, 'normal' users with adobe 8.0 reader don't get the extra text, so that is ok for us.

MDX Parser Error in Data Mining

Hello Colleagues,
I have created the Application Process Designer(APD) for ABC analysis. Here APD is saved and activated successfully. Now while executing, it fills the data to datatarget, but giving error "Error occurred in starting the PARSER.Error opening in RFC connection. Syntax error in MDX statement".
In help, it says go to SM59 and test the connection of MDX parser. Now there testing is failing, but What I need to do to correct the connection?

Help! Error when data merging multiple records per page

I managed to get one record per page to display great.
When I try to insert the text box into my master page and run to create multiple entries per page it gives me only one result:

Data Mining overflow error while loading the mining viewer

I developed a time series model that processes succesfully. The problem I have is that when I try to view the mining model viewer that displays the times series on a chart, I get the error below:
An error occurred while a prediction query was being executed:
'Error (Data mining): An overflow was encountered while converting a predicted value to the '' column, at line 1, column 33. A higher precision data type for the column is recommended.'.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

It looks like the probability value (which is a float data type, for example 0.4452938765) is being stored in a particular column, and the data type of that column cannot contain the range of decimal places that the probability has.
I don't know which column to look for to change its data type like the error messages says. Would anyone have any idea?

RFC error when sending logon data

We cannot configure the STMS of our development system. When we try to
configure it, system gives an error message: Errors during distribution
of tp configuration; TMS Alert Viewers tells us

You are right. The problem was releated with secstore. I found a SAP note ( Note 1532825 - Deleting SECSTORE entries during system export/system copy). I created the program which ise mentioned in the note and than run it. After that everything seems ok now.

Getting Date error when I process

I have DEV & QA Analysis services on 2 different server. This is 2005 SSAS
I am using same solution so DEV process OK but QA gives me date error
when I check with SSMS , date fields look fine .
But I am getting this error in QA

12/13/2005 is an American date format (mm/dd/yyyy) whereas you need a british date format 13/12/2005 (dd/mm/yyyy).

Processing a data mining structure throws an error

Processing a data mining structure throws an exception stating the following:
"Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'IDK' attribute of the 'Test IDK' dimension from the 'Project1' database was being processed."
"Errors in the OLAP storage engine: The attribute key was converted to an unknown member because the attribute key was not found. Attribute IDK of Dimension: Test IDK from Database: project1, Record:17072643"
I am using a DB view as a DSV. It does not have a unique primary key. Since DB view is getting multiple results per IDK, the IDK repeats for multiple rows. The same IDK is defined as Key column for the mining model. Not sure if that is the
issue. Please help!

According to your description, you use a database view in the data source view that do not have a primary key, so you get the error

SQL Developer 3.0 error message on Data mining feature

Hello,
I have installed the 3.0 Oracle SQL Developer and am now getting the following error when I attempt to connect to an existing database connection:
Connection Error - Oracle XMLDB and Text Features are not installed.
Please install the Oracle XMLDB adn Text features, or see your database administrator for assistance.
We are on Oracle 11.2.0.1 with windows env.
I have installed this new released SQL dev 3.0 for data mining purpose, but I am not sure whether we need a licence for this or it is free.
Does anyone have any idea please share with me.

Error when create classification model by Oracle Data Miner 10.1.0.2

Please help me!
I have created a classification model by Oracle Data Mining 10.1.0.2, Oracle 10g Release 1 (10.1.0.3) with following options:
Single record per case
Adaptive Bayes Network algorithms
SingleFeatureBuild
When finished, i receive an error with following detail content:

ORA-28522 error when reading data from DB2 via hsodbc

I'm trying to connect to a DB2 database running on an AS/400 system, via Oracle HS.
I'm using Oracle 9.2.08. The DB2 version is V4R5.
My ODBC DSN is called TEST_odbc.
The initTEST_sid.ora file contains the following:

I should have mentioned that I know that the table exists in the database.
The main reason I'm trying to do this is because I'm trying to get the data from the DB2 DB into my Oracle DB. I have been trying the EXP utility, which gives me a different error code:

Error with excel data mining and windows 8.1

Hi I found this thread online which is exactly the same issue I am having. Has this problem been resolved?
"I installed SQL Server 2012 SP1 Data Mining add-in for Excel 2013 64 bit on Windows 8.1 64 bit Enterprise. I then ran "Getting Started" to complete the add-in setup and connect to the SSAS DB. After I opened the "Sample
Excel Data" file to test I noticed the "Table Analysis" tab under "TABLE TOOLS" appeared on the ribbon blank (without the text "ANALYZE" on the tab). When I clicked on that tab I was able to see the "Table Analysis Tools"
buttons but I keep getting the "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error message when I try to run any one of them and exiting out of Excel disables the data mining add-in. Is this a known issue and if yes is there a
hotfix available? Thank you."
I've also download the follwing hotfix which hasn't helped

Which edition of Excel 2013 are you using? The supported editions of Office supported by the SQL Server 2012 SP1 Data Mining Add-ins for Microsoft Office are as follows:
Professional
Professional Plus
Ultimate
Enterprise
Besides, make sure the cube is hosted in a SSAS 2012 instance.
