Collect messages merge to one n 1

Hello
I try to collect messages
but after transformation only the data from the first message is in the message.
In the message mapping and message interface the source is 0..unbounded.
When I start U see that messages are collected in a container and in the same process.

I have a BPM scenario witch collects files for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes the collecting stops or when 10 files are received.
Quite similar as the example Integration process BpmpatternCollectTime.

Hi guys,
I need help to implement XI BPM Scenario with Collect Messages Pattern. Here is my Scenario. I am getting four different types of flat files from four interfaces. Using these four files I need to merge using correlation relation and finally have to create One IDoc type to send it to SAP R/3.
But out of these four messages last Message type is an Optional Message. i.e the process has to continue even if forth message is not available by taking first three messages.
Please let me know which pattern is suitable for this scenario.

Hi,
I hope u are receiving four different interfaces.Have a local container variable of simple type integer.you put a fork with four branches after the start step.Each branch has a receive step corresponding to one interface. Then after each of the receive step in each branch put a container operation performing some action on the container variable may be incrementing.so in the end condition of the fork check the value of the container variable i.e you can check if that variable is 3(three of the interfaces have been got).so this ensures that ur fork doesnot wait for all the four.hope this works.

PI 7.1 runtime error: 2 messages are merged into one

Hi,
We have recently upgraded to 71. We are having a crtical issue with one of the interface. below are the details:
Background:Interface is using ABAP mapping to convert an Idoc into file.
File name is fed into u2018dynamic configurationu2019 in mapping program.
File adapter uses dynamic file name and saves the file using NFS.
Interface receives idocs in batch, so several Idocs are received by XI almost at the same time.
Interface has been working without any problem in version 3.00 for last 3 years.
Problem in 71.:On occasions (random, not always), 2 idocs are merged into one file. It means, only one file is created, which includes the data from 2 idocs.
In message pipeline, same file name is shown both message (in dynamic config after mapping)
We have tried u2018use temporary filenameu2019 option on file adapter, but problem is not resolved.
Any sugegstion pelase!

Hi,
In your Graphical mapping create an UDF with code Thread.sleep(1000) and map this udf to any node (may be root node).
Note: The delay is in mili sec.
This udf will delay the mapping for specific time. I am not sure if it is going to solve your problem but you can try.

The reason you are receiving each other's text messages is because you are both using the same Apple ID for iMessage. To prevent this you need to use different IDs. (Note: you can still share the same ID for iTunes.) On one of the phones, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID.
To migrate your 3GS to a new iCloud account, start by saving any photo stream photos that you want to keep on the phone to your camera roll. To do this, open the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Next, if you have any notes that you are syncing with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to email these to yourself so they can be recreated after moving to the new account.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, choose Keep On My iPhone. Next, sign back in with a different Apple ID to create the new account, turn iCloud data syncing preferences and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, if you have merged data in the two accounts that you want to separate you will have to go to icloud.com from your computer, sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want from each account.

BPM collects messages, and should terminate at a given time

Hi,
i'm trying to create a scenario where a business process collects messages. At a certain time each day this process must transform this messages into one message and terminate.
(I used the BpmPatternCollectTime process as a template)
My problem is:
how to tell the deadline branch it should rais an exception every day at a given time, lets say 10pm?
I already tried to configure this branch with "Reference Date/Time=Expression" and set date and time to 2008-10-04 14:30:00. But the process won't stop at this time.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I am not sure if you could use this pattern for stopping at a given time?
Maybe you could configure a report that sends a message every day at the given time to the PI and your process stops with receiving this message.

BPm collect Message Check

Hi,
when i perform a check to standard BPM patterns BpmPatternCollectMessage. I get the following info am i wrong some where do any changes needed to be done.
Container element stopmessage in step receive terminating message is initialized but not used

I did the above scenario as told.
It is a bpm message dependent scenario. It keeps collecting messages till a particular message is received.
I more or less used the message dependent pattern given in SAP BASIS.
The data types are as follows.
Dt_In
     Name
     OverallID
Dt_In
     Name
    OverallID
1 to 1 mapping
I used the OverallId for correlation. The receive step inside the infinte loop collects the messages with OverallID '1' while the receive step below collects messages with OverallId '2'.
In the container elements i defined 2 separate message interfaces. One for OverallID '1' and the other for OverallID '2. The 2 message interfaces have the same Message type. Only values will be different.
For the parallel fork step i have given end condition OverallID = 2.
When i execute the scenario the messages are all comingin a queue. The status is wait for event.
What could be the problem?

BPM: Messager Merge - Transformation Mapping Problem

Hi,
I tried an eg for time bound message merging (rather adding the items in the message).
I am using a single datatype/message type.
I was able to do the message mapping/interface mapping test by changing the source by making it 0 to unbounded and on the target I have same message type.
This test was successful.I went ahead with the creating the scenario .I used a file adapter for picking up a file. The message monitor shows it is picked it and sent to the bpm.
but the bpm part failed I checked in bpe monitor.It just says the mapping failed(transformation step).prior to which there is a receive step and container operation step which I used it for append the message .these are under a block and this block has a infinite loop for collecting the messages.There is a exception thrower(control step) which is for 2 minutes.this handled by a exception handler.and I guess my file was collected and send to the transformation step after this.but the thing is it never seems to appended since the two files are shown as two seperate error messages in transformation rather than as single ...
Can somebody tell what could be the problem/where to look for the file.

I am getting more and more sure that the problem is at the block entry only...becoz i checked with direct entry to loop with a counter as loop breaker.it entered the loop and added the lines to the message with multiple lines.and once it hit the counter it came out and did the transformation successfully and sent it to the target system.
when i add the block it fail right at the block entry for the first message after that all the messages show the green flag clicking on pe would show an empty queue...
I guess the only step happening before the block is the correlation key creation i amn't sure if this is giving some problems..
NOW FOR THE BPM Steps....
1.I created the correlation key.
2.I put the block for the block i added the correlation key and exception name.
3.I put the exception branch and the deadline branch
4.on the exception branch i put the name of the exception to be handled.
5. on the deadline branch i put a 2 minute duration
6.within the deadline branch i put the control which throws the exception...
7.i added a loop to the block which is 1 = 1.in that there is a recieve step
8.after that there is container operation which adds the message to the list...
9.followed by outside the block i have a transformation and send steps..
10.the block is in default mode.
I tried creating the scenario completely again and again with different datatype etc to avoid the cache problem + workflow item locked problem...
but no luckk

BPM Collect Message dependent AND time dependent

Hi
I have a IDOC to file scenario where I have to collect all the IDOC until I receive a stop IDOC.
Once the End collect IDOC is received I have to do a n:1 transformation and write the file to the FTP.
The problem is, at times the IDOC which is suppose to end the collect loop gets stuck in ECC R3 system.
So Im wondering If I can do something like say, we have two options inside BPM both time dependent and message dependent.
In this case which ever comes first (the Stop/END IDOC or the Time say 3 mins) will end the collect process.
Can anyone pls suggest will it work and if so what are the additional steps I have to introduce in the BPM.
Pls advice.
Right Now these are the steps in the BPM Collect Message dependent.
1. Block (I have used correlation)
2. Fork inside the block
3. Fork branch one has a look with end condition as 1=1; then a receive step and a container operation inside the loop.
4. Fork branch two receives the end collect idoc.
5. Transform step outside the block.
6. Send step.

I have done the changes let me confirm after testing it once. In the mean time I have one more question regarding the same BPM, as I have mentioned in the first post, the BPM contains the 6 steps mentioned but the the 6th step is inside another block (Block2).
The steps 1 to 4 are inside Block1.
The step 5 ie the transformation step (n:1) is in between the Blocks ie not inside any block (hope im not confusing).
The second block is for sending the file to the FTP and based on the acknowledgement (transport level) I have to send an email.
So Block2 already contains a deadline branch, it is to wait for the positive acknowledgement for say 3 mins and send the error email if incase we dont get positive ack within the time limit.
My doubt is,
1. Is it the only way (having two block and two wait steps) to achieve this.
(one block for collecting and one block for ack)
2. Is there any way I can have a single Block in the BPM insted of two. If so what are the steps.
Having single block, Will improve anything??

Collect message into internal table

Hi,
does any one knows how BAPIs or CALL TRANSACTIONs collect messages into internal table.
My problem is that some BI with CALL TRANSACTION doesn't collect right message into return table and I would like to collect this last message after CALL TRANSACTION and therefore be sure that everything went OK.....

Splitting and Collecting Messages

Hi,
I have a scenario in which I get a message from SAP. In this message their are multiple item structures and 1 header structure. Now I have to sent these items to a WS seperately and collect the messages from the WS response in one message with a header.
Something like:
Receive Message -> split message (message mapping) -> send all to WS / receive response for everyone -> collect messages from response in a new message -> send the new message to another WS
How can I do this in BPM?

Hi Chris,
Your design should be like this:
Start --> Receive --> Transform1 (Do the split and multimapping) --> Send Step1 (Synchronous) --> Send 2 (Send Response from send1 to the output) --> Stop.

I have two apple accounts that I cannot get to merge as one.

I have two apple accounts that I cannot get to merge. One is a hotmail address and the other a gmail address as primary addresses in the two accounts. I would like to merge them into one account. I cannot verify the addresses of either accounts because when I do it will say that the address already exists. Therefore I can't get them to merge.
Also...
Me.com and hotmail are under the same account., but when I log into me.com some of the accounts turn into the hotmail account. I do not use hotmail anymore and use gmail regularly.
Any insight to these problems would be appreciated.

If these are both used as Apple IDs, then they cannot be merged. If they are just two email accounts of which you only wish to use one, then you would need to transfer the data you want to save from one to the other. Since the data are just email you would need to look for a way to export it from one email address as a file compatible with what the other can import.
