Collection Based on Null Value from Custom MOF extended value

I extended the MOF to create collections based on registry keys and its working great!
I would like to know how to modify the below query that looks for "Automatic" to actually return all servers without this value - a collection of servers without this custom registry value we are using.
Below is the working query for finding servers with "Automatic" - how can I adjust this to give me all servers without any value here? I want all servers with a NULL value....
select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0 on SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0.ResourceId
= SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0.Reboot = "Automatic" order by SMS_R_System.NetbiosName
What we want:
select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0 on SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0.ResourceId
= SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0.Reboot = "NULL" order by SMS_R_System.NetbiosName

Use "is null" like this.
SMS_G_System_ServerReboot_ServerReboot_1_0.Reboot is Null

  • How to Replace Null Value as 0 in an OBIEE11g Pivot Table? it's working 10g

    Hi,
    How to Replace Null Value as 0 in an OBIEE11g Pivot Table? it's working in obiee10g version.
    We have tried below methods
    1) criteria tab and edit the ‘column properties’ associated with your fact measure. Choose the ‘Data Format’ tab, tick to override the default format and choose ‘Custom’.
    It seems that the syntax for this custom format is positive-value-mask (semi colon) negative-value-mask (semi colon) null-mask. So this means we have a few options.
    E.g. if you want zeros (0) instead of null then enter:
    #,##0;-#,##0;0
    2) in that formula columns we have put it below case condition also ,
    Measure Column: Nom_amt --> edit formulas
    CASE WHEN Nom_amt IS NULL THEN 0 ELSE Nom_amt END
    3) we have uncheked IS NULL check box in the admin tool also
    I tried above formats still it's not working for me..kindly help me on this..
    thanks to do the needfull

  • Custom itemRenderer component based on cell value: error 1009

    I'm working on an item renderer for a dataGrid that has different states depending on the cell and row values.
    The cell value is a toggle (true or null), and sets whether content should be shown in the cell or not
    The row properties determine what is shown when the cell value is true.
    The dataGrid dataProvider is populated based on user id input.
    I created the itemRenderer as a custom actionscript component, closely following this example:
    360Flex Sample: Implementing IDropInListItemRenderer to create a reusable itemRenderer
    However, my component results in Error #1009 (Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference) when a user id is submitted.
    package components
         import mx.containers.VBox;
         import mx.controls.*;     import mx.controls.dataGridClasses.DataGridListData;
         import mx.controls.listClasses.BaseListData;
         import mx.core.*;
         public class toggleCellRenderer extends VBox
              public function ToggleCellRenderer()
              {super();}
              private var _listData:BaseListData;
                   private var cellState:String;
                   private var cellIcon:Image;
                   private var imagePath:String;
                   private var imageHeight:int;
                   private var qty:String = data.qtyPerTime;
                   private var typ:String = data.type;
              public function get listData():BaseListData
                   {return _listData;}
              public function set listData(value:BaseListData):void
                   {_listData = value;}
              override public function set data(value:Object):void {
                   super.data = value;
                   if (value != null)
                   //errors on next line: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
                   {cellState = value[DataGridListData(_listData).dataField]}
              override protected function createChildren():void {
                   removeAllChildren();
                   if(cellState=='true'){
                        cellIcon = new Image();
                        addChild(cellIcon);
                   //there is another state here that adds another child...
              //next overrides commitProperties()...
    There are no errors if I don't use an itemRenderer--the cells correctly toggle between "true" and empty when clicked.
    I also tried a simple itemRenderer component that disregards the cell value and shows in image based off row data--this works fine without errors or crashing. But I need to tie it to the cell value!
    I have very limited experience programming, in Flex or any other language. Any help would be appreciated.

    Your assumption that the xml file either loads with "true" or nothing  is right.
    After modifying the code to the following, I don't get the error, but it's still not reading the cell value correctly.
    package components
         import mx.containers.VBox;
         import mx.controls.*;
         import mx.controls.dataGridClasses.DataGridListData;
         import mx.controls.listClasses.BaseListData;
         import mx.core.*;
         public class toggleCellRenderer extends VBox
              public function ToggleCellRenderer()
               super();
              private var _listData:BaseListData;
              private var cellState:Boolean;
              private var cellIcon:Image;
              private var imagePath:String;
              private var imageHeight:int;
              private var qty:String;
              private var typ:String;
               public function get listData():BaseListData
                 return _listData;
              override public function set data(value:Object):void {
                   cellState = false;
                   if (listData && listData is DataGridListData && DataGridListData(listData).dataField != null){
                       super.data = value;
                       if (value[DataGridListData(this.listData).dataField] == "true"){
                           cellState = true;
              override protected function createChildren():void {
                   removeAllChildren();
                   if(cellState==true){
                        cellIcon = new Image();
                        addChild(cellIcon);
                   //there is another state here that adds another child...
              //next overrides commitProperties()...
    - didn't set the value of qty or typ in the variable declarations (error 1009 by this too--I removed this before but wanted to point out in case its useful)
    - added back in the get listData() function so I could use the listData
    - changed the null check
    All cells are still returning cellState = false when some are set to true, even if I comment out [if (value[DataGridListData(this.listData).dataField] == "true")] and just have it look for non-null data. That shouldn't make a difference anyway, but it confirms that all cells are returning null value.
    Swapping out the first if statement in set data with different variables results in the following:
    [if (listData != null)]  all cells return null (cellState=false for all)
    both [if (value != null)] and  [if (DataGridListData != null)]  results in error 1009 on a line following the if, so I assume they return non-null values.
    All rows have data, just not all fields in all rows, so shouldn't listData be non-null?  Could it be that the xml file hasn't fully loaded before the itemRenderer kicks in?
    I also realized  I had removed the item renderer from many of the columns for testing, and since some columns are hidden by default only one column in the view was using the itemRenderer--hence the single alert per row I was worried about earlier.
    Thanks for your help so far.

    Hi Sheshu,
    According to your description, you are experiencing the null values and infinity values when browser the calculated measure, right?
    Based on my research, the issue is caused by that dividing a non-zero or non-null value by zero or null. In this cases, we need to check for division by zero to avoid this situation. Here is the sample query for you reference.
    IIF(
    Measures.[Measure B]=0,null,
    Measures.[Measure A] / Measures.[Measure B]
    If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

  • How to post null values from h:inputText?

    Hello,
    I have a form made of h:inputText fields that map to an entity class as the backing bean. Whenever I post the form from a web page, all the fields that I did not fill out and that are mapped to String fields in the entity class are set to "" (empty string) instead of null.
    However, I would like to post null values to my entity, because that would indicate that the user did not fill out the field. In other contexts (outside of the web app) it is possible to set the fields to empty strings, but from the web app it should always be null. How can I get JSF to do this correctly?
    Also, when reading entitys with null values from the database, these are converted to empty h:inputText fields, so this direction works as expected.
    Ulrich

    I haven't seen a solution for this as far.
    This is how I do it:
    public void action() {
        if (isEmpty(inputValue)) {
            // do your thing
        } else {
            // do your thing
    public static boolean isEmpty(Object value) {
        if (value == null) {
            return true;
        if (value instanceof String && ((String) value).trim().length() == 0) {
            return true;
        if (value instanceof Collection && ((Collection) value).size() == 0) {
            return true;
        // And go so on .. make it an utility method.
        return false;
    }

  • Excise Duty Not to be Collected from Customer

    Dear All,
    I require help in a scenario, wherein company has already paid excise duty
    to produce the goods but does not collect it from the customer for any
    footwear pair which has been priced less than 250 Rs.
    The company wants excise to appear in the sales invoice so that excise
    invoice can be captured.
    Require your suggestion in configuring this scenario.
    Thanks and Regards
    Adithya

    You have not indicated what will happen if the price is above INR 250.00.
    If the requirement is excise should not be collected only if the value is below INR 250.00, then, through standard it is not possible.  Through exit you can control this.  On the other hand, if you dont want to debit the customer for excise duty irrespective of invoice value, then set the excise condition type as statistical, so that excise invoice can also be generated.

  • Fetching Null Value from table

    I have a table where I am want to findout the total number of product (count of product) based on the ProdName.
    I have the following table with two columns:
    create table newproduct (prodid integer, prodname varchar(30));
    Insert into newproduct values (100, 'TowerA')
    Insert into newproduct values (160, 'TowerA')
    Insert into newproduct values (170, 'TowerB')
    Insert into newproduct values (120, 'TowerB')
    Insert into newproduct values (140, 'TowerC')
    Insert into newproduct values (180, '')
    So here the query that I trying to use:
    Select Distinct prodname from newproduct;
    Select prodid from newproduct where prodname is null; /* Correct way */
    Select prodid from newproduct where prodname in (''); /* I want result (180) by using this query */
    How can I do it?

    I'm not sure why you're trying to accomplish it that way, but you could try to use NVL to do that.
    You just need to make sure whatever value you input in the NVL is something you won't ever obtain as a real column value.
    Select prodid from newproduct where nvl(prodname, 'NULL VALUE HERE!') in ('NULL VALUE HERE!');Also, for performance reasons, since you're applying a function to the column, it won't be looking up indexes for matches, unless you create a function-based index.
    Nulls are not indexed anyway, but I'm not sure what you're trying to do with this query.

  • Not to display the null values from data base

    Hiiii.
    In a jsp file i have ten check boxes.The jsp file is mapped to a servlet file for parameter requesting and to
    store it in DB.
    The unchecked box values has null values.All the values are store in a Mysql DB table.
    Again i have to display it in a jsp page from table.
    The problem am facing was,how can i display only the values in a row.it must not display the null values and the crresponding column name.
    Or any other way is their like below
    How i can retrieve only the selected check boxes from tht jsp file.and store in backend.
    Thanks in Advance

    Here is a rough example that may give you some ideas:
    On the JSP page:
    <%if(myData.getFirstName()!=null){%>
    Your First Name'
    <input type="text" name="firstName" value="<%=myData.getFirstName()%>">
    <%}%>
    In the servlet:
    String firstName= request.getParameter("firstName");
    if(firstName!=null){
    //write it to the database
    }

  • Null Values from a Data Source

    This is more of an implementation question than a
    troubleshooting question. Also, since I've been unable to find any
    documentation on this I was wondering if anyone has come across
    this behavior or found a bug with it.
    Yesterday I was working on an application to explore some
    proof of concept aspects of Flex for an application I'm developing.
    I started running into a problem with Flex Data Services throwing
    back an 'Unknown Property: "clientaddress1"' error whenever I tried
    to update data. It seemed that whenever I tried to update a record
    in the database it would thrown the Unknown Property error. I spent
    a good chunk of the day trying to figure out what was causing this
    and finally gave up and called it a day.
    This morning I was reassessing what the problem was and
    trying to find the differences between my database and my code and
    I stumbled upon the fact that I could add no records and modify
    them without a problem, however if I tried to access an existing
    record and update it I'd get the Unknown Property error.
    I start analyzing the database and found that I'd configured
    the database to use null values for empty values and the records
    that I created with the database had null values, however, any of
    the values inserted from Flex were inserted as blank values. As
    matching my action script class as clientaddress1 = ""; So, upon
    further testing I fould that Flex was not processing the null
    values correctly, so that when it came back and rightly generated a
    Conflict Error...and then called AcceptServer() it was unable to
    find the clientaddress1 property of the class.
    Also, if any of the properties in the database are null it
    throws the same error. Basically it seems to have invalidated the
    object just because one value was null. So if all of my values from
    the DB are set to something and only one field is set to null it's
    still throwing the error on the first alphabetical item of the
    properties.
    I can resolve the problem by not using null values in the
    database, but...what sort of effect would this have on someone
    working with a large legacy database that extensively uses nulls
    for undefined values?
    Also, if a Flex guru could explain the reasoning for this
    happening I would greatly appreciate it!
    Best regards,
    Chris Maloney

    I realize that I didn't clarify that I am using ColdFusion
    for getting the data. This class was generated by the Create CFC
    wizard in Flex Builder.

  • Need help Take out the null values from the ResultSet and Create a XML file

    hi,
    I wrote something which connects to Database and gets the ResultSet. From that ResultSet I am creating
    a XML file. IN my program these are the main two classes Frame1 and ResultSetToXML. ResultSetToXML which
    takes ResultSet & Boolean value in its constructor. I am passing the ResultSet and Boolean value
    from Frame1 class. I am passing the boolean value to get the null values from the ResultSet and then add those
    null values to XML File. When i run the program it works alright and adds the null and not null values to
    the file. But when i pass the boolean value to take out the null values it would not take it out and adds
    the null and not null values.
    Please look at the code i am posing. I am showing step by step where its not adding the null values.
    Any help is always appreciated.

  • Null Values From MS Web Services Toolkit Client

    Hi,
    I've been bashing my head against a wall on this one for too long now.
    I've got a JAX-WS web service deployed to Glassfish v2 b33 which works fine when called by a Java client. It also works fine when methods with no parameters are called from the MS client, i.e. simple and complex types are returned as they should be. However the problem I am having is that when the web service methods that take parameters are called from the MS client, the values received by the service are always null. I've montitored the service and values are being sent in the soap request, but a simple System.out.println statement in the first line of the method indicates a null value. I've captured a request from the Java client and the MS client to show the difference:
    A java request:
    <soapenv:Envelope
         xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <soapenv:Header/>
        <soapenv:Body>
         <ns0:getConfig xmlns:ns0="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
                 <arg0>Inbound</arg0>
         </ns0:getConfig>
        </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>and a request from the web services toolkit:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <SOAP-ENV:Header/>
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
               <SOAPSDK4:getConfig xmlns:SOAPSDK4="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
              <SOAPSDK4:arg0>Inbound</SOAPSDK4:arg0>
         </SOAPSDK4:getConfig>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>I've tried everything I can think of, including changing the style from RPC/LITERAL to DOCUMENT/LITERAL, but the Java web service just seem to like the way the SOAP message is wrapped up.
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Tony

    Thanks Milan, your suggestion put me on the right track, however I've hit another snag.
    I decided the best way to solve the problem was to use the Glassfish Transformation Rules feature to take the SOAP request and transform it to a valid format before reaching the code. The XSLT file I created looks like this (I'm no XSLT guru so this will definitely need some tidying up, but for now it works): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet  version="1.0"
         xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
         <xsl:template match="*">
              <xsl:copy><xsl:copy-of select="@*"/><xsl:apply-templates/></xsl:copy>
         </xsl:template>
         <xsl:template match="/SOAP-ENV:Envelope/SOAP-ENV:Body/*">
              <xsl:copy>
                   <xsl:copy-of select="@*"/>
                   <xsl:for-each select="*">
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"><arg</xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="."/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes"></arg</xsl:text>
                        <xsl:value-of select="position() - 1"/>
                        <xsl:text disable-output-escaping="yes">></xsl:text>
                   </xsl:for-each>
              </xsl:copy>

  • Null values from DB2 cause problems

    Hi,
    I have another problem with database link to DB2 using IBM iSeries Access for Linux on 64 bit OEL5 with Oracle Database gateway and unixODBC 2.2.14.
    DB link works. However, null values from DB2 cause problems. Date columns that are null on db2 return a date '30.11.0002', and character columns that are null return an error ORA-28528: Heterogeneous Services datatype conversion error.
    isql returns correct results.
    How can i fix this? Perhaps set some parameters for data conversion on the gateway?
    Thank you.

    If the driver is not fully ODBC level 3 compliant and misses functions, we're lost. But sometimes the drivers are ODBC level 3 compliant but miss the correct 64bit implementation. In those cases we can tell the gateway to use the 32bit ODBC level 3 standard by setting in the gateway init file:
    HS_FDS_SQLLEN_INTERPRETATION=32

  • Null values coming from JSON

    Ok. heres whats going on. I have a bunch of charts all with
    two series , demand and baseline. About half of them have a null
    value for the last value in demand and of the half 2 have null for
    the entire baseline.
    my problem is one of the afore mentioned 2 charts will not
    show up (chart shows but without lines) unless I iterate through
    and set all null values to zero in the baseline series. Then
    baseline will lie on the x axis(BAD) and demand will show
    correctly(missing the last value because it null, GOOD)
    my question is why? why does demand disappear when baseline
    values are null? here is some code to maybe help you out
