Collective and ind indicator in mrp4 view

Hi, we are using strategy 20 (mto). For header material collective and individual indicator is not maintained. For item it is maintained as 1 (ind). We created one sales order and run md02 for header material. In this case mrp is considering the unrestricted stock and accordingly no pru2019s were generated. We changed to 2 for item material, again it considers stock qty in mrp run so no pru2019s generated. as I understand if ind is 1 for item, it should not consider the existing stock as it is not sales order specific. Please advise why system is considering the existing stock if 1 is set for item material.

  The ind/Coll indicator is used to dispaly the requirements for a particular component in the following manner.
Individual requirements
Requirement quantities of the dependent material are stated individually for each header materials reqmnt.
Collective requirements
Requirement quantities of the dependent material are grouped together for all the materials.
Ind/Coll
All the MTO req are shown separately and MTO are grouped together
Hope this clarifdies your doubt. This indicator will not control whether the unrestricted stock is to be considered or not.

  • How to View by Collection AND Tag - Newbie Needs Good Documentation

    I am a self-study student trying to decide whether upgrading to Elements (or better) is worth it. I am comparing Adobe and Microsoft products.
    In Album Starter 3.2, all I want to do is one simple task: View pictures by Collection AND category. (I've been looking for help for over an hour - aaaagh!)
    1. For ex., I have a collection called Abstract. I also use color tags. I'd like to view only the photos in the Abstract collection that are Pink.
    Is this possible?
    ALSO before I buy any product I have to be convinced that the value I'll receive is worth the price.
    2. Can I view the documentation of the Adobe software package before I purchase it?
    3. Do the Adobe products have software documentation help that doesn't require going online? I'm looking for help files similar to those provided on Word, Excel, etc. 3a. Do they exist?
    4. Is there a list of specific Features/Benefits that compares the different versions of Adobe? (I have looked on the product sales sites and what I found was far too general.)
    Thank you so much for your time. I think this software might be what I'm looking for BUT since I don't take classes, good documentation is something I can't live without. It'd be great if you could add a "newbie section on your website. I think more "newbies" like me would either buy or become "devoted users" if they knew what they could do. Thanks again!

    There is a site on Adobe.com that has online video of various training sessions of using the products. Most clips are 2-3 min. Look for video workshop. If you have Vista Advanced Find (shortcut windows key and F) works good for sorting.

  • Cannot see Collections and Years views in new Yosemite Photos app

    Hi there,
    I've just upgraded from Mavericks to Yosemite to get the new Photos app, and so far it hasn't quite been the experience I was hoping for. My current issue is that nowhere can I see the "Collections" and "Years" views that were so prominent in the marketing material - just "Moments". There doesn't seem to be any way to toggle, even via the Sidebar.
    If I look in Activity Monitor, I can see that Photos is using a lot of CPU (and has been for 12+ hours) - is it doing some sort of initial indexing before it can show me those other views?

    Could anyone please tell me in MRP4 view for a material,where is the option so that i can exclude or include the storage location stock from MRP?
    and also in which T code i should indicate the material is provided by vendor/material provided by customer?In CS01wher's this option?

    Hi Karthik,
    MRP area is nothing to do with storage locations settings in MRP4 view. If you want to activate MRP area and use the MRP run at MRP area level then you have to customized MRP area either at storage location level or sub-contractor level (in MRP master data settings )... then you need to assign this MRP1 view of the material and with valid MRP type.  Now when you run the MRP then planning will be carried out at this MRP area for this part.
    With storage location indicators in MRP4 view (must enter with putting the stoarge location values from MM02/MM03) you can exclude the stock of this storage location (indicator 1) in the palnning run or you can plan seperately with indicator2 with using re-order level. Here no need of MRP area.

  • How can I compare two collections at the same time? (View two grid views)

    I have two collections containing some of the same images. (My Nikon D70 did not put an end-of-file on some images. I recovered them into a different collection.) Now I want to display both collections side-by-side in grid view. I will select those images in the "recovered" collection that correspond to the bad images in the "main" collection, add the ratings etc, and move just these to another collection.
    It is extremely frustrating to have to bounce back and forth between collections, remembering each image one by one and selecting it in the "recovered" collection. (The image names are not preserved in the "recovered" collection -- I have to go by what the image looks like.)
    LightRoom allows me to compare photos in the compare view. I want to compare collections in two grid views.

    you have ran into a situation when you have to compare two sets of images and now you're wondering how come Lightroom doesn't have such "obviously necessary" functionality? But you have to admit it, this is not such a common situation in a photographer's workflow recovers broken files and tries to compare them against themselves. I think it's a pretty specific feature you need. Still, Lightroom has enough powerful tools for editing and sorting images.
    For example...
    You could just put them all - "main" and "recovered" - into a single collection or into the Quick Collection. Label the entire "recovered" collection with, say, red and sort by capture time. Now you'll have everything side by side, ordered chronologically. The "recovered" images will stay next to the "main" images since their capture time will be the same, and they will also stand out since they have the red label.
    Make the thumbnails bigger and set up the grid view so it tints the thumbnail cell are tinted with the label color. Now, you can go quickly through them visually checking labeled vs unlabeled.

    I made an earlier posting today on the forum titled “‘ORA-01861: literal does not match format string’ error after my hosting company upgraded to Apex 3.2.” The issue relates to Apex collections and dates. Prior to the hosting company upgrading Apex 3.2 from 3.1 all was working OK. It seemed a reasonable assumption that the issue relates to the upgrade to 3.2. Having tested the code against another Apex 3.2 installation I am satisfied that the issue is not with Apex 3.2. That said, I am still getting the issue on the hosting site.
    To demonstrate the issue to my hosting company and this forum, I put together a simple one page application that demonstrates the issue using the least amount of code.
    I created a page with an ‘On Load – Before header” process that sets up an Apex Collection with a single value of ’20-FEB-2009’ in the c001 element as follows:

    I added an SQL REPORT region to the page which uses the Apex Collection as follows:

    When the page is run I get the ‘ORA-01861: literal does not match format string’ error.
    If I remove the following from the SQL Report Region:
    and to_date('20-FEB-2009','DD-MON-YYYY')
    = to_date(c001,'DD-MON-YYYY')
    and run the page, the date is displayed OK, i.e., c001 is converted to a date OK. This made me wonder whether it does not like the line to_date('20-FEB-2009','DD-MON-YYYY')? So I changed the where code for the report to :
    and to_date(c001,'DD-MON-YYYY')
    = to_date(c001,'DD-MON-YYYY')
    i.e., convert c001 to a date and compare it to itself. The rationale being that if the c001 converts to a date OK, then comparing c001 converted to a date with itself should not give an error. It did it gave the same error ‘ORA-01861’
    It would seem on my hosting site since the upgrade, that Apex and Oracle have problems with Apex Collection elements being converted to dates as part of the where clause.
    Now my understating of Oracle Apex collections in simple terms is that all Apex collections are held in a single Oracle table managed by a series of Apex functions. Given that all Apex collections are in the same table, could the issue be with the Oracle database when it is creating its execution plan for the query? Could Oracle be including the value of c001 from other collections (i.e., when c001 is not in a date format ) in the initial stages of its execution plan?

    I believe I have found the answer the statistics on WWV_FLOW_COLLECTIONS$ and WWV_FLOW_COLLECTION_MEMBERS$. are out of date and Oracle is doing a full table scan instead of using the indices to select only the c001 columns that belong to the given collection_id. If I change my simple example to store the date value in c050 it works ok. (In all probability this will be the only collection on the hosted database to use c050).
    I have asked the hosting company to gather stats on all the apex tables.

    1. just collect all the values and concatinate using Strings, also use one delimiter between each value.

    2. Finally assign this String to some Context, that you want to use in next view.
    3. Use StringTokenizer Class, make Result String as Source and comma as delimeter, then you can able to get list of
    previously stored values.

    My understanding is that by setting 2 in ICI of mrp4 view, it will combine the all pru2019s or planned orders of that particular material and generates single procurement proposal. My doubt is that if the date of procurement is different, then what system will do? I mean if procurement date of one sales order requirement is 20.01.10 and other is 25.01.10, then how system behaves? Will it generate two pru2019s or single pru2019s? what is the reference for system to decide so? Please advice.

    This will be controlled through your lot sizing procedure. If there are two sales orders which have a common component as A and you have two different delivery dates for them then when you run the MRP system will be have as follows,
    1) create 2 PR's/PO of the delivery date for both of them are different and you use EX in Lot sizing
    2) If you use daily/weekly/monthly lot sizing then system will generate the cumulative requirement based on the delivery dates.

    I purchased a TV series and Itunes indicated the programme was downloading onto my computer. Once that was done I tried to view the downloaded programme but the only viewing option was directly via internet. I have very poor and unstable internet reception (rural area) so I can only view programmes I can download. The programme does NOT appear on my 'downloads' in Itunes and I am unable to find any indicator as to how I can 're' download the programme. All suggestions are welcome.

    The external DVD/CD Writer will Not appear on your desktop when you attach it to your iMac.  It will appear in "Finder", which is in your Dock.

    Also we are implementation MDG. Now we cannot use MM02 and we have to follow change process to change anything in material master.
    Is there is âny way to change  calculated average plant stock  shown  in MRP4 view. ?

    I can use MS29 to calculate the average stock. The average stock could be used ad initial  stock on LTP scenario.
    Than you can update it by material, if requested, directly from MM02.

    The collection changes a little by the criteria you use to view the books, and you can view them by Title, Author, and Category. So, yes, you can.
    The default view is Book view. On the upper right part of the page, you'll see four white blocks - that's the icon for book view. The icon on the right has three white lines; that's where you find Title, Author, and Category view. You can't create folders in any view.

    Please check "Excise tax rate" in J1ID and check whether you have mantained Excise rate againts Chapter ID and Exe. Ind 1 or 2.
    The final excise indicator for excise duty is maintained based on the excise classification of the company and vendor, company and customer. For each of the final indicators, the excise duty rates are maintained.

  • Missing Quick Collections and Previous Import tabs

    I hope I can explain this - I recently moved from PC to MAC.  I reinstalled lightoom and imported all my images from backup. Everything has been working fine.  I just noticed that I dont have the Prevoius Import and Quick Collections folders showing in the panel.
    I have Navigator - Folders (where all my images show up) and Collections
    I can save to quick collections and show quick collections from the pull down menu. I have looked in all the setting and view options.  What the heck have I done wrong!!

    What you're missing is the "Catalog" section of the left panel. Right click (ctrl-click for mac) into any other section header and check "Catalog".

    David, this is about understanding the use of, and differencies between tags and collections. This is a bit hard for many new users.
    First of all searching for collections and tags can *not* be done simultaneously. You can either work with one collection only, or you can search for pictures with one or more tags.
    Next collections should be used as either temporary work sets or for special occasions like specific vacations, trips or birthdays, e.g. "Anna 5 years". You say you have a collection named "Churches". I think would have made a TAG called "Churches" instead, because a tag is for general searches that can be combined. On the other hand I might have made a collection called "Church visits July 2005" or "Summer vacation 2005" or the like.
    Another difference is that pictures in a collection can be sorted manually by drag & drop, while pictures found via tags always are shown in the order chosen in the Photo Browser Arrangement box shown bottom left in the Organizer.
