Color in Terminal when programing Python

Hi,
I am programing Python in the terminal on my OS X 10.5.3 and i dont have any colors in the terminal.
I want my terminal to have colors when i am programing, different colors for class and objects etc.
Like this: http://vim-taglist.sourceforge.net/images/taglist_python.gif
i am using the Terminal now in OS X. Do i need to edit my .bash_profile to get this working or dose anyone got some tips for me?

You either learn how to use vim or try a GUI text editor with Python support such as TextMate or TextWrangler.

JPEG color shifts occur when viewed in different programs

Hi All,
I'm having difficulty exporting JPEG documents that display consistently between programs. Windows image viewer and Microsoft Office shift colors drastically when my exported images are viewed within them.
What's going on here? I'm exporting as a maximum quality JPEG and have tried a number of color profile settings when saving the documents. Embedded Color Profile, Convert to sRGB, etc.

If the image has been converted to sRGB and saved with the profile embedded but is displayed inconsistently then I suppose there might be a problem with the screen profile but otherwise the problem would lie with the other applications’ missing or imprudent Color Management (policies).

Sudden color temperature change when opening some programs

I got this sudden color temperature change when I open Photoshop, Maya and a few other games. When I quit the programs the color goes back to normal. It first started happening once a while and I didn't really notice, but now it's become a regular thing... I think it begun after upgrading to Yosemite. It's quite uncomfortable to my eyes but it's bearable. I'm just concerned whether it's a sign for something worse. Please please help!
I took photos of before and after the color change, basically it becomes much brighter and more blueish.

Did you ever find a solution for this? It recently started for me too, and it's already getting on my nerves First I thought it was because of dynamically switching the graphics card but unfortunately it happens when I use it on an external monitor only (and thus is locked to the Radeon card)...

Program terminated when call SAP ZBAPI

I have created C#.NET Class to working with SAP BAPI (and used as Reference in VB.NET)
I've run the program I created (VB.NET) in debugging mode by clicking the 'Step Into' button, When program go to the line
results = this.SAPInvoke ... ( [Please click to see picture for example:|http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c49/krapong/SAPCAllRFCError.jpg] )
I click the step into button again then debugging mode was terminated and VisualStudio returned me to coding page.
I don't know why it happen like this, Please help adviced me

Using Terminal to program and test java.

I bought a book on java and it says I should not use a JDK when first learning java.
Right or wrong I would like to know how to use terminal to program and compile simple scripts.
So my question is:
How do you go about setting up the computer to use terminal to write and compile a java program?
I know that’s pretty big question. I just need a link to some info on how to get started using terminal and java.
If I use a text editor how do I set up a path to it using javac?
Where can I find or link to this kind of info?

There isn't anything to setup. Just run Terminal and type "vi hello.java" or "nano hello.java". To compile, type "javac hello.java".

That is not necessarily a big question, just fundamental. Try Google. It becomes second nature after a couple of decades so I don't really know where to tell you to look. People do tend to have a big list of links, hopefully they can contribute some.

Oversaturated colors in Source and Program Monitor windows

After I updated to Premiere CC 7.1.0 the colors is much more saturated in the Source and Program Monitor windows and also in the Bin thumbnails.
Colors is fine when viewing the video under Export Setting, in the Title window, in the thumbnails on the timeline and also when I open a ProRes export in Quicktime:
I'm on a Macbook Pro bought in January 2013.
I've tried switching the renderer between CUDA, OpenGL and Software Only - no change. I've also tried unchecking "Composite in Linear Color" under Sequence Settings with no luck.
How can I change this?

I've been editing in Premiere since 5.1 and this has never been an issue before. So what you're telling me is I can no longer rely on colors when editing on my Macbook without having to plug in an external monitor?
I'm not buying that - it must be possible to view the same colors in both the Source/Program monitor and in the timeline/Title window like always.
What could the problem be associated to?

Late 2013 macbook pro retina color profile changes when auto switching from integrated to discrete graphics card. Problem started after updating to 10.9.3

Same here. Really annoying because I have my screen calibrated for photo editing, which makes it much warmer than the default color profile. A lot of websites cause the graphics cards to switch for a couple of seconds, which causes the profiles to switched back and forth a few times, everytime. Really annoying, and dissapointing to see, considering Apple released like a hundred .3 betas.
You can use gfxCardStatus to make it stay on one graphics card over the other... Just remember to change it back when you're using a program that actually needs the descrete card.

Emacs in the same color in terminal than in window

Hello,
When launching emacs in terminal mode, I'd like to have it in the same color as the ones I specified in ~/.emacs or at least not as ugly as that
(left in window, right in gnome-terminal).
The colors are from the color-theme-tango
Any idea ?

in the ~/.bashrc, I've something better but not perfect. I guess I can live with that but if you know how to fix it...

Yes I think also the problem is that I use more than the 256 colors in terminal
With solarized is also nice looking but also not the same (in the mode "light", it's really hard to read in terminal)

Update was terminated when creating document through FBR2

Hi,
I am getting the error "Update was terminated " when I try to change the GLcode and post the document through transaction FBR2. The ABAP dump error shows ASSERTION_FAILED in the program LGLIOA20 , form OBJECTNR_FIND_GLPCC. Moreover it's a V1 update.
I am not sure what data is missing during the posting. Can you suggest what would be the cause for termination occurred?

Why is the font color on the Colorful Tabs changing when I choose a new Personna, when it never did before?

The font color has always been black and the tabs in color, but now when I choose a different Personna, the font fades and/or turns white, sometimes fuzzy. This has never happened before. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. Please help.

Does it help if you disable the Persona Plus extension?

Why do colors come over as Color Book swatches when I copy and paste to a new document? Original document has CMYK spot color swatches. I copy them and paste them in new document and it gets converted to a Color Book swatch. Why?

Check the spot color options of that document.
It's in the swatches panel's menu.

WHAT DO THE DIFFERENT COLORS CIRCLES MEAN WHEN YOU LOCATE YOUR IPHONE?

I was just wondering what do the different color circles mean when I've located my iphone. So far I've seen a green dot with a green bigger outlined circle around it , a gray circle , a gray circle with a gray bigger outline around it , a real big green circle like the whole circle is dark green. I'm mainly just wondering can you tell if they are texting or using the phone at the time or if its on off or on vibrate is that what those different colors mean?

We use CS6, yes we calibrate using x-rite. I have always had adobe manage colors when printing. This problem just occurred, all my settings are the same as they have been for years. The only thing we did lately is do an update to CS6. We thought it might be our printer but when we use the printer manages color it works fine, The problem with adobe manages color is it is not blending the light highlights like on top of the cheeks with the colors around the cheeks and its putting a faint red between the two it just does not have a smooth transition. I printed a photo that I had printed 4 months ago with no issue, and this time it had the issue that I am dealing with now. Somehow the photo shop manages color is not getting the right info to my printer.

SunStudio debugger session exits when program finished

I'm running SunStudio 12 on a Ultra 25 with one or more projects opened.
Usually the debugging session was still available when the program execution ended.
Now, for some reason, the debugging session also exit when finishing the program.
I have to start a new dbx session after that.
A colleague of mine can debug the same executable,
but his debugging session is still available when finishing program execution.
I'm not aware of that I changed something.
Also I couldn't find any option in SunStudio that I might set wrong.
How do I come back to the previous behavior?

To control this "feature" ....
From the main menu choose Tools->Options
Select the Miscellaneous category
Turn Debugging Options
Select the Session Startup panel.
Check No for "Finish Debug Session When Program Exits.
NOTE: This property is not available in SunStudio 12 FCS, but
is available either in the later MultiLingual release and/or patches.
(I.e. what you colleague has :-)
