Coloring an image through code

Hey guys,
With a basic knowledge of the iphone SDK by now I've been playing around with some code and as expected stumbled upon "a pretty hard to do" idea.
I was wondering how to color the contents of an image through code. Basically something like the "Fill" photoshop effect. Meaning: a UIImage containing a transparent png. The image is a drawing of a star, the outside is transparent, the lines are black and the inner color is purple.
Through code I'd love to find out how to alter the purple color for example with a red one or any other.
Any ideas / help would be appreciated...

Unable to apply custom theme with background Image through code

Hi,
I am creating custom SharePoint 2013 theme and applying it through code on site by referring MSDN Article : "http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/jj927175(v=office.15).aspx".
However when I try to add background image in custom theme and apply that theme to site then sites UI breaks.
Details: I have two features, in feature-1: I am Deploying *.spfont, *.spcolor and background image. Then I am adding a new entry in "composed looks" list for my custom theme. in feature 2- I am applying the custom theme to site by using following

Both feature activates without any errors, new entry also gets added in 'Composed Looks' list with all correct URLs, current item of composed looks list also change to custom theme but entire UI of site breaks If I remove background Image code from custom theme then everything works fine. Following code works fine

How to give acces to app to use the images in device through code

I am writting an Iphone app, in some part of my application there is a facility to the users to upload their files , but the device is asking to give permission to the app to access files, i have to do that manually , my question is there any way to acheive that through code, In am using Xcode to create my app

At server side, get an ICollection instance where you want to store the file and create the corresponding resource. Problem in getting the image through URL

hi all,
I facing the problem,Inwhich i am unable find the solution...I am using the following code to display the image

can anybody give me the solution like where to keep my images by which i can able to get the images through url address

hi all,
I am getting the image from the server.but the problem is i am getting the Exception as ArrayOutOfBound exception.
It was displaying the Image for the first time.and when ever it was going for the second time in to the paint method it was displaying the IOException in reading the stream from the connection.
can anybody give me the solution in rectifying that exception.

How to change Color of IMAGE Links

Page properties is the only place I can find to change the
color of LINKS. It works for text, but not for the border it
automatically puts around a linked image. It's purple! Can't I make
it white to blend in with the background? I have already changed
all the link colors in the page properties to white and the link
around the image is still purple! Is anyone familiar with this
phenomenon and how to get around it?
(BTW - in case you're wondering, there is no border
specified in the properties or the css style)

Invalid color template image

I try to do patttern matching using IMAQ Vision. Both source and
template images are .BMP files and are generated in a VB .NET program
through NI Framegrabber. IMAQ Match Color Pattern gives me the
following error message:
Error-1074395384 occurred at IMAQ Match Color Pattern
Invalid color template image
Do I have to use .PNG files when doing pattern matching?

Hey John123,
I was wondering what version of Vision that you are using? Have you tried to run any of the example programs, like the ColorPatternMatching example that can be found in the following directory: C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Vision\Examples\MSVB.NET\2. Functions\Color Pattern Matching. I was able to run this example program by using .BMP images and not PNG images. So to answer your question, you don't have to use PNG files with this function, you can use Bitmap images. You can use any kind of image that have a 32-bit RGB or HSL bit depth.
If you are acquiring from a Framegrabber, I would suggest that you double check and make sure that the images that you are getting from your camera are actually 32-bit, and not 16-bit. Also, you could post a couple of your images on this thread, and I could try them out with an example that uses the IMAQ Match Color Pattern function. Try some other BMP images and do you get the same error? Try the example program, and see if that gives you the error with your images. Let me know if you have any questions. Alpha Color on Images?

Okay, Let's see if anyone knows this. Let's say I have a Image and I want to make the background transparent. It's certainly possible to load a transparent GIF89A, but say I want a normal gif and I want to "transparentize" it in code. Here's a code I have:

Great news! It worked! Here is the algorithm: All you need is a BufferedImage. It isn't really as inefficient as it may look, either, but don't use it every frame.

Loading saved images from code

I'm creating a single-page application with CQ and AngularJS, and the nature of my app is requiring that I pull my images from code rather than into a paragraph system via the UI. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Does CQ have some built-in methods for pulling that resource from an image name or something?

Your reply has a lot of good info in it, thanks. I'm not using a clientlib anywhere, though it sounds like I should be. Let me describe a little better where I'm at, and maybe you can make some suggestions. I've been using CQ for about two months now.
I have a roughly 8-page application that I'm working on. Adobe CQ is being used only for the UI side. All persistence and business logic is being done on a completely separate server that I'm connecting to via RESTful services using a single, master JSON string which contains all the information I need at all steps of the process. The navigation is essentially a wizard-style sequence where each step results in a round trip of the JSON to and from the server. I have four separate brandings that I'll have to do, based on that which is associated with a particular user.
My solution so far is a single-page application based on AngularJS. This means I have a "main" page in CQ which uses "maintemplate" attached to a "maintemplate.jsp" component that includes a parsys where I drop an "angularview" component.
This page renders out the header and footer of my app to the browser, with an empty div where the Angular view will be placed. Each of the pages in my app I have created in pages underneath "main", pointing to another template called "partialtemplate", which does nothing to the component each page calls (no header, footer, etc.).
Each of these partial page components contain a mix of text, images, and form elements. The images in these partial pages are what I'm concerned about. There's no way to edit these in the authoring view, since I'm not using CQ's full-page-refresh navigation model. So, I have to hard code all the images, text and other content into each partial component.
I have all my components in /apps/project/components, and the partials underneath that in /components/partials. Javascript files I have in /components/js (this is probably where I need to use a clientlib) and I'm using relative URLs from the maintemplate component to pull them. I'm also using /etc/designs/project as a location for all my css.
My idea for the branding will be to programmatically adjust the current design path depending on user data (I haven't verified this will work) and create a new design path for each, with sling:superResourceType pointing to the master design so I don't have to have multiple copies of global css files.
The images in question are inside each of the partials. Since they might change based on marketing goals, I need these to remain exposed to the page authors, so putting them in the DAM is the only choice I see; indeed, isn't that what the DAM is for?
I'm still fumbling through CQ, trying to find out the best way to do things. If you can make any recommendations, I'd be grateful. Time is precious, so I don't have a lot of time to rewrite the architecture, but if you see some way I can make a small change and save myself some work later, I'm all ears.

How can I send an image through a WebService

Send Image through xml file

I want to send an JPEG image through xml file. i dont want to just give the URL of the image but i want to actually send the image through xml. Im new in XML so can you please give me a working sample code.

Working code will not be difficult to write. Jpeg or other binary info can be encoded in xml using base64 encoding or some other encoding algorithm.
After base64 encoding you will get some text which will be the base64 equivalent of the image data. This text can be placed in CDATA section of your image element and transferred.
On the receiving end you will need to decode the text. After this what u have is the binary data for ur image.
It will not be difficult to find libraries for base64 encodin/decoding on the net.

How to create 2-color Pantone image from jpeg logo

Working in CS3 under XP, I need to convert a jpeg rvb image of a logo into a 2-color pantone image to import it into an Illustrator file. I can isolate the logo's two distinct colors using the select wand and then tried filling the selections with the closest Pantone colors, but the rvb layers still seem to exist. I have saved in .eps DCS2, but the imported colors when sampled in Illustrator are still rvb/cmyk. Is there a way to isolate the shapes/colors and then transfer them as vector images into Illustrator, where I could fill them with the Pantone colors? Or a simpler way not necessarily using Photoshop? Thanks very much!

Is this a vector image or pixels? EPS can be both.
Better than selecting it with automatic functions like magic wand is to draw it manually in Illustrator. If it already is vector (like shape layers), then you can just copy the paths from Photoshop and paste into Illustrator.

Getting error while updating property of image through weblogic CMS

Yes, I am using custom work flow.
I added new property for alternate text to existing content type Banner. When I try to update value for alternate text it throws error: A RepositoryException was thrown: null
Even if i try to delete added property it throws error :
A RepositoryException was thrown: The type Banner has existing node instances. Therefore the removal of property definition alt is not allowed.
Is there alternate way to add property to existing content type through weblogic content management console?
