Column reordering for a particular column

Is it possible to allow reordering of all but the first column? My table has the first column as checkbox to select the row. I do not want user to reorder this first column but let them reorder rest of the table columns. Is it possible?

Did you try testing the frozen attribute? I would have guessed that if you freeze column 1 so that it doesn't scroll horizontally, it would make sense that it shouldn't be re-orderable either - otherwise, how does the scroll freezing work - at any rate, I didn't test.
Other than that, I didn't see anything in the docs that would accomplish this. I do know that Frank just filed an ER to allow column reordering listeners (that would presumably allow you to cancel the re-order): {thread:id=2150514}

    Hi Vikas.
You can use BAPI in LSMW to craete Material or You can use direct input method. Both methods as follows below:
    Using BAPI in LSMW:
First maintain IDOC Inbound Processing steps by giving PORT and Partner Type and Partner Numberby clicking 'settings' icon in menu path in LSMW Screen.
Adn then execute LSMW and maintain the values as below in the first step.
    BusinessObject Method(BAPI)

For the selecting of views, you can maintain fields for all views(From Basic view to costing view) in your excel and populate with 'X' in respective fields for activating views.
In the 6th step (Maintain field mapping and conversion rules). you can map those fields for views which you want to activate since we have all views are in the standard structure.
    Using Direct Input Method:

  • Display one or more rows for a particular column in alv grid display

    Hi,
My requirement in the report is to display users for a particular workitem id.If a workitem is in the inbox of one or more users(approvers) i have to display all the user names in one field in alv grid output (output-approver id). There are other fields which display details of the workitem also.
Is there a way to populate multiple rows for a single column or creating one more internal table for users in the alv output table.
    Please suggest.
    regards,
    Sravanthi Chilal

ALV only can show flat internal table data.
you should set a sort on the field which you want to show only once.
Then on the output of the ALV, the field with the same value will show only once.

  • Where do I find the global package array g_fnn for a particular column?

    Hi Everyone,
I found out from one of the tutorials that when a page is submitted, the value of a column is stored in a global package array.
Can you tell me where or how I can find out what nn in g_fnn would be for a particular column?
I was thinking maybe it corresponds to the position of the columns in the Report Column Attributes of the Report Attrutes page.
This information will help me refer to it in pl/sql code.
    Thanks.
    Emad

    Hi Scott.
I think I may be able to answer my own question. Ooopps!
I noticed in the tutorial they refered to the deptno column as g_f09. I noticed in the Region Source under the Region Definition tab that a total of 9 columns were defined in the select statement.
Is this assumption correct by stating that if the Sal column is the 6th one defined in the select statement, it is g_f06 ?
    Thanks.

  • Stop a dimensional drill for a particular value of a column in obiee 11g

    Hi,
I have dimensional drill been setup for Supervisor Hierarchy Table.I need to stop the dimensional drill for a particular value of the column in obiee 11g.
    Example: I have two columns
    1.Supervisor Level 1 Name
    2.Supervisor Level 2 Name
Supervisor Level 1 Name Columns have these values.(Ram,Higher,Sam)
Supervisor Level 2 Name Columns have these values.(Ravi,Higher,Raghul).
If we pull Supervisor Level 1 Name Column in report which has a dimensional drill(It will navigate to Supervisor Level 2 Name). It will show
    1.Ram
    2.Higher
    3.Sam
I should not drill on Higher value but the rest of the values(Sam and Ram will drill to Supervisor Level 2 Name) should be drillable. The same should happen for Supervisor Level 2 Name.
    Please Suggest.
    Thanks,

  • How to set custom widths for a particular report column?

how could I set a custom width for a particular report column? Is there a way to do it using css?
    Thank you.

    Hi Leland,
I have tested this here: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=267:18]
All I have done is add the following into the report's Region Header:
    <style type="text/css">
    #apexir_EMPNO {width:200px}
    #apexir_ENAME {width:200px}
    #apexir_DEPTNO {width:200px}
    .apexir_WORKSHEET_DATA TR TD {height:100px;}
</style>The headers have all be set to be left-aligned. Each column should be 200px wide (even though I'm setting the width on the headers, it will be applied to the entire column unless a cell's contents is wider, in which case the column is made wider). The final entry above adjusts the height of all TDs within the IR table.

  • Count no. of records for a particular customer in the query?

    Hi,
1)Can anybody guide as to how do we count the number of records for a particular customer. E.g.
    C1 has placed 2 orders
    C2 has placed 4 orders
    C3 has placed 5 orders
so in all the ODS has 11 records. Now while designing the query we need to ensure that we show only the Customers who have placed more than 3 orders. What could be logic to solve this kind of a problem?
    2) Is there a way that we can access the structure and data of the ODS in ABAP code say one of the includes in a user exit?
The requirement says there could be N number of cases opened and closed in one month. Now we need to calculate the average number of days taken to close a case? Any ideas on the possible solution.
    Thanks
    RB

    Hi Rajat,
Take a calculated key figure rename it as Count , go to the properties of that calculated key figure on the left hand side not at the columns side in the properties click on the button Enhance which is shown in the down left side, in the exception aggregation part select "count all values <>0" , take the reference character as customer Id . Now go to the Customer character which is in rows go to properties and select  "Normalise to" combo box  in that select "Query result" now u will get the exact result which ur looking for .

  • How do we calculate Accumulated Depreciation for a Particular Period

    Dear Members,
How do we calculate the Accumulated Depreciation for a particular asset. It would be great if some body can explain me ,what tables should we use.
I read that Accumulated Depreciation is nothing but deprn_reserve column in fa_deprn_summary table. I have to make a report which should show the accumulated depreciation for an asset by period name. (eg : For MAY-07 the report should give the accumulated depreciation for that asset).
    Please give your suggestions.
    Thanks
    sandeep

    Hi,
You can use DEPRN_RESERVE from fa_deprn_summary to get accumulated deprn. Make sure you select the latest row from fa_deprn_summary for a particular period.
Use FA_DEPRN_PERIODS to join with period_counter if you wnat to use Period Name as criteria.
    Cheers

  • Calculate funds available for a particular date

    Hi,
I am developing a custom PO Printing report and there is a requirement to calculate the budget/funds available for a particular account as a column in the report. Oracle has given the standard package gl_funds_available_pkg.calc_funds to calculate funds available. But this gives funds available for a particular account as on date. However my requirement is to print the funds available as on purchase order approval date, while the custom report might be generated at a later date. Many transactions would have been done using that account and the funds available would have reduced as on report generation date. But I need to get the funds available as on po approval date(earlier date). Please help me achieve this requirement.

    Hi Venkat,
To Calculate Opening Stock & Closing stock there are different procedures.
It just depends of\n the client requirements & usage of the material.
For example, we have different types of stocks, like, Through Pipeline, Special, Unristricted, quality, safety,
and many types of stocks.... so all these types are indicated in MSEG tabe in SOBTZ field,...
Now Comimg to your Query, You need to calculate OPENING & CLOSING STOCK.
We have a similiar standard report in MB5B Tcode..
to get the same results in your report do like this...
For valuated stock go to the MARDH, MBEWH, MCHBH tables But I Prefer MBEWH.
here in MBEWH give the month & year and you get the result in LBKUM field...
For Special stock, You need to go to another table like MKOLH,,(I forgot still 2 more) and
give the month & year inputs and you will get the result in SLABS field.
and remaining MB5B refers to its deetails lists with different Movement types,
whcih you can get clearly from MSEG Table...
Hope you can write the select Queries accordingly.

  • Display only positive values for a particular Keyfigure

    Hi..
(Sorry, I accidentally posted this also in Datawarehousing forum, actually it related to BeX forum).
For a particular column(keyfigure) in my report, the user wants to display only positive values.
I used the formula from the one of the forums
    (Keyfig > 0)* Keyfig.
This displays only positive values in the column as required. But, the result for this column is also affected. As the result is negative, it shows, zero in the result for this column.
Is there a way in which the result will not be affected by the formula?
I went into the properties of the particular keyfigure and chose Calculate Result as -> Summation.
It throws out the following error message
'Calculating result as...' was not executed
    Message no. BRAIN141
    Diagnosis
The function 'Calculate Results as ...' could not be used in all
    instances.
The recalculation of a result cell always occurs based on the set of
detailed cells subordinated to this cell. This is the most detailed
level of the drilldown. Therefore it is not posible to recalculate in
hierarchical lists. The calculation of a results cell is not performed
if a cell or column with an expand symbol is assigned beneath it.
Otherwise the newly calculated result is changed every time one of its
lower-level nodes is expanded. This is not supported for technical
reasons and would also only confuse users.
Note, however, that calculating with "Suppress Results" is always
executed because the restriction described above does not apply in this
    case.
    NOTE:
The query shows the keyfigure values for a selected title, for profit center and territory hierarchies.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sai.

    Hi Deepu,
Thanks for the reply. I tried with ur formula.
LEAF(keyfig) gives all values "zero" for that particular column including the result.
NOT LEAF(keyfig) gives all values "one" for that particular column including the result.
So, ur formula gives the same values as of the present column values.

How can i achieve this....Thanks in advance

Please follow the basic Netiquette of all SQL forums for the past 35+ years on the Internet. Post DDL that follows ISO-11179 rules for data element names. You have no idea; you do not even know that DATE is a reserved word in SQL! Use industry standard
encodings (ISBN, UPC, GTIN, etc) and avoid needless dialect. Give clear specifications. Give sample data. Web need to see the keys and constraints, the DRI, etc.  80-95% of the work in SQL is in the DDL.
If you do not know that rows are not records, fields are not columns and tables are not files, then you should not be posting. If your tables have no keys, you should not be posting. If you have not tried any DML yourself, you should not be posting.

    Hi ALL,
Could you please guide me how I can calculate the size of backup data for a particular database in Recovery Catalog, if I am using Tapes as my backup media for recovery catalog.
    Regards

    Hi,
I am not Up to the mark of your question ..
If you see the V$log you can get it.. Size of the redo logs can be determined either by examining the file system size or by reading the BYTES column on the V$LOG view. Then Check the number of redo Logs avaialble checked whether they are mirrored or etc., Combining the two figures we have a total redo log data at peak in one day. This is the amount of data that any backup facility or storage of Archive Redo Logs would have to take into account. This figure should be mitigated against the fact that manual switching of redo logs means that not all archived redo logs will be the full size.
