once PDF Portfolio SDK is connected to Flash Builder ( via plugins ), they should be available without any additional actions ?
I downloaded documentations for both, but could not view neither ...
is there any articles that could help to work with them ?

The problem with submitting a bug report is I don't know how to replicate it.
The java file showed up on the "Referenced Libraries". I removed it from there and it fixed the problem.
If I return it to the classpath via Eclipse it doesn't demonstrate the problem.
I don't know how it got into the classpath to cause this problem. I even tried editing the classpath (which I'm fairly certain was not how the problem was caused) but that didn't replicate the problem.
I didn't check the .classpath to see what the entry was before I removed it via eclipse so I don't know what the entry looked like. The problem wasn't in the version is SVN so I don't know how to find what changes were made.
If you sill want a bug report I can enter one but with out any instructions on how to replicate it.

Difference between tx_ APIs and tp..APIs

Pls suggest what is the difference between tx_open,tx_begin....APIs and tpopen,tpbegin...APIs.

The TX APIs are industry standards (although I don't know if anyone else
uses them). If your code is just meant to run in Tuxedo, then use the
'tp' APIs, which are unique to Tuxedo.

EssMdxTrig API and EssMdxExecuteQuery(), EssMdxNewQuery() APIs

Hi,
I want to maintain Change Data Capture for an Essbase outline/cube. I want to write a on-update trigger in sucha way so that it executes everytime when any new data load happens in the Essbase cube. This trigger should create a spool file and should write the record that was updated. I want to read this spool file programmatically and want to create another text file and write data in to it from that spool file.
Please help me if any of this api can help me in writing trigers and execute it everytime a data load happens

Deprecated and internal proprietary API in Java

Hi, all
I'm facing a problem right now that our product is near to the ending of the life cycle and won't t have big release from 2013. Hence we are thinking that the JRE/JDK in the product should be stable enough and will not have significant change in the future. After a checking of the latest load build of the product with JDK1.7.0_09, we found that we did have many warnings regarding to the Deprecated API and internal proprietary API like ORB, ORBSocketFactory, IIOPProfileTemplate etc.
So, I'm doubting...should I find the way to replace those Deprecated and internal proprietary APIs? Is it really necessary? Where can I find APIs to replace them? Any documents?
I have been frustrated with the doubt for long time, hopefully anyone can help me.

Modern/Metro API and in-house Applications

Any chance developers will have a way to use the modern/metro API for in-house apps without having to use the store API?

It's not clear what you are asking. I'm sure what you mean by "the modern/metro API" and "the store API". In most uses these would both refer to the Windows Runtime API.
You can use create in-house
Windows Runtime apps and side-load them without deploying through the store. Side-loaded apps can communicate with desktop components to affect the system in ways prevented to store deployed apps. With Windows 10, Windows Store apps can run in a window
in the desktop rather than being in a separate full or partial screen.
You can also use some parts of the Windows Runtime in desktop apps. Check the documentation's requirements section to see if the classes you are interested are marked for Windows store apps, for desktop apps, or both..

Yup. The source files are simply missing from the 4.5 source releases....I'm hitting the same issue when trying to rebuild the SDK with flexcover changes applied.

Java API for Adobe Flex(AIR and Browser)

Hello Community,
Sometime ago i started the project located at: : http://code.google.com/p/gwt4air/ , wich primary goal was to bring another approach on writing AIR application by providing a Java API for the AIR API. On top of that i added support for PDF and Excel generation using Java.
I m glad to announce that the project will now add support for the Flex Framework
I wrote a post about it on the main page.
The Idea behind it is to give Java Developers a more simple way to write Flex Application by leaveraing a swing like API.
I hope this project will be a good alternative to the MXML+ ActionScript approach and looking for people willing to join the project.

What I would like to do is be able to change the query to something custom so that anytime I hove over the button, a new tweet with the query of my choosing slides up and the old one Fades out.

License API and Corba to COM bridge

Guys,
We'd like our B1 tool (uses DI API and DI Server) to be able to get from the B1 license server how many licensed users there are (professional users). With a bit of investigation, I've found that there is a License API, however being CORBA based it isn't something we can easily use with our technology (being COM and .NET based).
I have found the "COM License Bridge to CORBA License Manager 2005" installer, samples and source code. I have tried this on a B1 2007 test box and it seems to work. I have a few questions, which hopefully someone here may be able to answer or at least point me in the right direction.
1) What are the license terms for the bridge? Do we have to apply for a full license for it from SAP to use it? How do we do that?
2) Are we able to redistribute the bridge as part of our commercial package? Do we have to use the supplied installer, or can we incorporate the bridge executable into our own installer?
3) Is this bridge officially supported and maintained by SAP? Can we log issues with SAP support with it? Will it have any necessary changes made to it for 8.8?
4) On the license API itself, will this continue to be available within 8.8?
5) The download page has an option to download the source. Now, I understand that if we decided to recompile ourselves, or use the source as a basis for our own CORBA based solution, we'd be on our own (and we have to get hold of the necessary open source libraries). However, the supplied code seems to be missing two files (LicenseInterfaceC.cpp and LicenseInterfaceC.h). Where do I get these files from? (I have already asked this question on Lisa Mulchinock's blog at [http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs;jsessionid=(J2EE3414800)ID1613217250DB01810329660145726482End?blog=/pub/wlg/13891] so sorry for the duplication on this one)

In case anyone else is looking at the License API, I've been asking SAP support these questions also, and they've confirmed that the License API is still available in 8.8, is still CORBA based, and that SAP has no developer documentation or other information on it at all apart from the example bridge to COM code. They also say that they will not support any issues with the bridge.
So, I'm left with two sets of questions really - one set is around the commercials and licensing of samples on the SDN site here (my questions about the license terms that appear when you download the bridge, and about redistribution). The other set is around ownership and maintenance of the bridge - if it isn't an official SAP supported component, it would seem if we used it we are at the mercy of whoever is maintaining it in terms of support and maintenance, presumably only contactable through this forum.
This isn't a big problem necessarily. As long as the License API itself continues to be supported by SAP we could create our own solution if we found the bridge was abandoned. The lack of documentation on the CORBA interface is a problem, but I could probably reverse engineer it from the sample bridge code if only I had the missing files from the source download!
So, has the bridge been abandond? Who is maintaining it if not? Could they provide me with the missing files?

The message means that you are using stuff that you shouldn't be using. Sun may remove that stuff from future versions of Java which will break your code/application/library.

IME API and IME Text Input Enhancement

Hi All,
I am presently using Adobe Air 1.5 Framework and i want to update the Air 2 Beta version. Help me in setting the same.
As in my application, it uses TLF which doesn't supprot IME. But as i came to know the features from AIR 2 Beta it provides.
Can you help me for the same in implementing the feature "IME API and IME Text Input Enhancement" with some samples or examples.

I do not know what VM is ported on ur Pocket PC? It depends on the MIDP RI [Reference Imlementation] ported specific for each device. for e.g.:- for few pointer/touch screen devices the MIDP RI ported handles both the keypad and the pointer mappings automatically.

Most of the palm or pocket PC's would be ported with CDC/Foundation Profile where you will have JNI support that may help you to develop your own application specific API's using the existing device native libraries provided by the vendor.
IBM's J9 VM for example supports JNI.
