    Hi All,
    Does anybody know which jar contains com.bea.p13n.cache API in Weblogic 10.x ?
    It was in p13n_ejb.jar in Weblogic 8.1.

    Please note the all configuration files are placed at their required locations.

  • Error:cannot access com.bea.p13n.exceptions.ApplicationException

    hello,
    I wrote an Input Processor class(named HelloIP.java) which extends InputProcessorSupport class. My class has process method which throws ProcessingException. When I tried to compile the class, I got error:connot access com.bea.p13n.exceptions.ApplicationException. My classpath includes pipeline.jar and webflow_servlet.jar. Are there any other packages that I need to include into my classpath?
    Thanks a lot for your help.

    Try adding p13n_system.jar. It contains the exception class you need and should
    be in the portal/lib directory.

  • Get an instance of com.bea.p13n.http.Request in Rolemapper

    In my portal project I wrote a Rolemapper, and because
    of dynamic nature of role computation for portal
    resources, I need to access portal resources and classes
    in RoleMapper, P13nResource is available as type of
    "Resource", also I am able to get an instance of
    "EntitlementRequest" from "P13nContextHandler" which is
    of type "ContextHandler", but the attributes of
    EntitlementRequest are where I am having problem.
    Here's the code snippet from my rolemapper ...
    public Map getRoles (Subject subject,Resource resource,
    ContextHandler handler)
    if(resource instanceof P13nResource)
    EntitlementRequest ereq=
    com.bea.p13n.entitlements.common.EntitlementRequest)
    handler.getValue(
    EntitlementConstants.PREDICATE_ENT_REQUEST);
    for(int i=0;i<ereq.getAttributes();i++)
    Object obj=ereq.getAttributes(); //runs fine
    //following code crashes the application without
    //the stack trace
    if(obj instanceof com.bea.p13n.http.Request)
    //some work here
    else if(obj instanceof com.bea.p13n.http.Session)
    //some work here
    I have seen interesting scenarios from intellij
    debugger window connected remotely to weblogic server,
    showing me the instance of "obj" mentioned in code
    exactly of the type I am checking as instanceof, it
    beats me now, any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.>

    Good news folks, I have finally managed to solve the problem using reflection. I can now rest in peace.

    The following document describes about how datasync data is deployed in various scenarios.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13218_01/wlp/docs100/prodOps/preparing.html#wp1029497
    Assuming you are making use of workshop for creating the user segment and deploying to a single server which is in development mode, I would recommend you check if you have hit any OOM issues on the server or not, and try restarting the server, and redeploying your app. Generally this should resolve the issue.
    If the server to which you are deploying is running in production mode / deploying as an EAR then the above referred doc will guide you on the next steps.

    Folks,
    I try to compile weblogic 7.0 commerce EJB samples SRC in WebLogic 81 SP2 through
    workshop.
    When I compile, it shows the following error.Anything wrong I am doing?
    ERROR: CommitOrderPC.java:196: No match was found for method createSequencer(java.lang.String,
    javax.sql.DataSource) in type com.bea.p13n.util.jdbc.SequencerFactory.
    Thanks
    Meetu

    The class is available, but the method is not. Putting the class in a file, and
    using workshop's method completion facility, the method was not listed. Neither
    is the method listed in the javadocs for the class.
    If you are convinced that the method does exist, but workshop won't let you compile,
    you may want to clear the workshop caches stop/start your dev environment and
    see if that helps. In our experience workshop's cache sometimes interferes with
    compiling.

  • Portal 10 p13n cache

    hi,
    We are migrating our portal 8.1 application to 10.
    i am facing the following issue,
    We are using CacheManagerMBean to flush the portal cache in our program.
    But it seems in portal 10
    'com.bea.p13n.mbeans.CacheManagerMBean' is not available.
    Could you tell me how can i manage (flush) the portal cache using the admin mbean in portal 10?
    Many thanks,

    That information is very old and IMHO mostly wrong.
    Read the javadocs on CacheFactory.flush():
    [url http://edocs.bea.com/wlp/docs100/javadoc/com/bea/p13n/cache/CacheFactory.html
    It does a cluster-wide flush of the cache, removing the key or the whole cache on all nodes of the cluster.
    The underlying implementation uses the same multicast that the WLS server nodes use to keep in sync with each other. It is also exactly the same method that all the WLP internals use to keep caches in sync across a cluster.
    If it doesn't work for you, then I'm sure support would like to hear why.

    Hi Dragan,
    First of all we need to put some debug (System.out.println) to findout exactly which object reference is actually becoming NULL. From there only we can start diagnosis on this issue. that's the root. It should be very easy for your Developers to put some debug on that...because the NullPointerException is being thrown by your code...I m not Blaming on your Code... WLS may be responsible for that...but first of all we need to find out Which Object is becoming NULL.
    Thanks

    Hello Santosh,
    If the offerRemote="false" attribute is set on the producer, you'll get this error. If you want to be able to consume it over WSRP, change offerRemote="true".

  • Bea.p13n.expression.Expression

    Is the BEA implemetation class for Expression thread safe?

    Hi, Brian:
    I looked around and I think the WLP 7.0 version of this
    documentation inadvertently didn't make it into the online
    docs, as far as I can tell. It will be there for SP1 (which
    I think is coming soon, but I don't have a date for you).
    I found the equivalent reference from the WLP 4.0 docs at:
    http://e-docs.bea.com/wlp/docs40/p13ndev/content.htm#1070816
    This appears to be roughly the same document as the internal
    doc I found that should be on the edocs site for WLP 7.0. As
    you'll notice, the edoc references the javadoc, which references
    the edoc. :) But there is non-overlapping (and more detailed)
    information in the edoc, which is probably what you want. Sorry
    about the missing doc.

    There's a little about it in the javadoc for the com.bea.p13n.content.expression.ExpressionHelper#parse(String)
    method, but this refers to the Personalization Server documentation for
    a full
    definition. Unfortunately I can't find this documentation.
    Can anyone help?

  • Alsbejbtransport - com.bea.wli.sb.transports.TransportException

    Dear expert,
    Desperately need help! From time to time, we run into this issue - Unable to find port at address.. At the first level of research, I think some temporary file / cache for the ejb transport are generated in /appl/osb_bea/user_projects/domains/<domain name>/sbgen/alsbejbtransport.
    Currently, we have to stop the server --> remove all the cache file --> recreate the business service --> restart. May I know is there a permanent solution? Also has found this is supposed to be fixed by CR355917? I've also attached the details logs.
    CR355917 - After removing an EJB business service, some EJB transport generated files remain under BEA_HOME\user_projects\domains\DOMAIN_NAME\sbgen\alsbejbtransport.
    Workaround: You can delete these files. However, to delete the files, you might need to wait until the server is stopped, as they might be open.

    hi anuj,
    I do have restarted the servers after the deployment
    Steps to Configure socket transport:
    Place the samples folder under OSB installation directory
    1. Run DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.cmd (setDomainEnv.sh on a UNIX system) on the command prompt to set the environment where DOMAIN_HOME is the physical directory of your OSB domain.
    2. Navigated to directory OSB_ORACLE_HOME/samples/servicebus/sample-transport on the same command prompt where OSB_ORACLE_HOME is your OSB home (for e.g. - D:\OFMW11g\mw\Oracle_OSB\samples\servicebus\sample-transport)
    3. Executed command - "ant build" without double quotes (Make sure that you get "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" message) on the same command prompt
    4. Executed command - "ant stage" without double quotes (Make sure that you get "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" message) on the same command prompt
    5. Executed command - "ant deploy" without double quotes (Make sure that you get "BUILD SUCCESSFUL" message) on the same command prompt after modifying build.properties as per your setup.
    6. Now go to weblogic admin console --> Deployments section and make sure that you see deployments "Socket Transport" and "SocketAdapter" in "Active" state
    7. Create the proxy and business services as directed on the OSB documentation link (http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/E15866_01/example.htm#i1036658)
    8. Start and test the socket server as directed on the OSB documentation link..
    Please let me know if I am going wrong anywhere.

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to learn ADF Skinning.I am using Jdeveloper 11.1.2.3.0 version.I am practicing ADF Skinning Doc, "Changing an Application's Look and Feel by Using Skins" in Jdeveloper tutorials.
    While i am downloaded ADF Skin Sample Example and running Home.jspx page i am getting the following error and it is fail to deploy into integrated weblogic server.

    Could any one help on this.
    Best Regards

    I have deployed CF 9 on WebLogic 10.3.4.
    The K2Encrypt error occured when I was accessing the CF Admin page and I would get blank pages.  The workaround to that was to change the adminconfig.xml setting of <unsetupwizard> to false.  Everything seemed to work, but then when I accessed the Coldfusion Collections page then I would again see a blank page and the K2Encrypt error in the exception log.
    The K2Encrypt class is provided by the verity.jar which was being picked up, although not properly it seems, by ColdFusion in its class path.
    As of 8/15, support at Adobe confirmed that this was an issue after they replicated the same problem.  They stated that they have escalated this to their engineering department.

  • Is there any documentation on widget events in iBooks?

    I've seen very little detail on how to use edge published widgets in iBooks. The widget creation process is straightforward, but using them in an iBook is problematic. I have been testing the following work-flow:
    Export from Edge Animate to Widget
    Use iBooks Author to import the Widget
    Copy the book to an iPad via iTunes and test
    I've been using widgets created from the edge lessons to test this workflow. So far I've discovered:
    Widgets work more reliably if copied to the iPad though iTunes rather than by previewing them in iBooks Author.
    It's important to supply a poster image of the same size as the widget stage as this appears to determine the size the widget will be displayed.
    It's important to add touch events explicitly rather than click events.
    Problems remain however which I feel could be solved by creating javascript which responds to whatever events iBooks generates when opening and closing widgets. I can find no Edge documentation on this. Widgets published by the above simple workflow may work briefly, but stop working after a few pages are turned. Once widgets stop working - that's it. The only way to recover is to close the iBooks app and reopen it.
    Maybe this is a question for Apple, but I feel some pointers in the Edge documentation might help here.
    I have for example found this thread that talks about special widget opening events: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3696472?start=0&tstart=0
    There are some useful Apple docs here with sections on widget events.
    http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/AppleApplications/Conceptual/Dashboa rd_ProgTopics/Introduction/Introduction.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP40003042-SW1
    All good stuff, but it raises other questions like how to use some of the Apple provided widget libraries in an Edge widget? What code should be inserted to prevent the widget freezes that I see? Maybe a better workflow would be to develop in Dashcode, and add Edge Animations to the html of a DashCode maintained widget?
    Mike

    I don't know of any documentation off hand... but what are you trying to do? I haven't needed to to make a connection using the DriverClass....
    If you aren't using dynamicSQL... you can just catalog the database, and make direct sql calls (not recommended)... but if you catalog it, then just an INSERT command works... or UPDATE... etc
    logMessage "Starting insert."
    INSERT INTO MYTABLE(id, name) VALUES ("2", "kevin");
    logMessage "Finished insert."Check out the studio help under SQL Keywords for more info on that...
