Com. Channel of type XI: URL and logon

I am stuck with a set of scenarios and business processes in XI. Just to give an overview: I have a business process in XI which I would like to be called from several other processes. But I would like to do this without replicating the information in scenarios.
Therefore I figured if it is possible to do a workaround like this:
- in one (initiating) scenario I send a message to "external XI system"
- in the second (receiving scenario) I would define the same XI system as "external XI system" that sends and asynchronous message.
This way (what was the idea) I could reuse the second scenario in several business scenarios where the second process must be initiated.
To implement this I created communication channels to Integration Directory but I am stuck with the parameters of the receiver channel (as the sender channel does not have very meny parameters at all).
What is the URL of the XI receiver adapter? From help it seems to be http://<host>:<port>/MessagingSystem/receive/AFW/XI
Is this correct?
What logon should I use? Using the abouve mentioned url I have managed to get a XML response in my web browser after I added SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER_MAIN role to my account. But using my user credentials in the channel logon fields results with error "HTTP response contains status code 401 with the description Unauthorized Authorization error when sending using HTTP (error code: 401, error text: Unauthorized)" when I try to execute the scenarios. What logon information and/or configuration is needed to send a message to XI (as it would be an external XI system) using XI type adapter?

This is not possible. A message cannot be sent from XI to itself.
But why cannot the first BP call the second BP directly?

That issue can be caused by the AVG Safe Search extension

When I try to download an app it comes up with no connection URL and it says I've typed in my password wrong multiple times when I haven't changed the password

So I have tried to download several apps and it asks for my password. I type in my password and then it comes up failure to find service connection URL. After clicking retry multiple times it comes up and say my password is incorrect. When I logged in here my password is correct. How do I fix this

I would recommend signing out of the iTunes Store on your iOS device and sign back in. Here are the steps on how to process these steps.

I hve tried 4.0 My cursor is vibrating, and previously, I could type av URL. If I already hat it nin my Bookmarks, it would com on auto. This is not ther case with 4.0 I am back with 3.6.

Yesterday I downloaded 4.0. Multirow Bookmarks dissapeared. Pity.
With 3.6 I could type a URL, and if I alrerady had it in Bookmarks, it would appear automaticly. This is not the case with 4.0. Pity. My cursor vibrated, and videoes would make my PC to freeze. One hit at Ctrl, would unfreeze. Pity.
Is Bill Gates working at your lab? Pity.

If you are still willing to give Firefox 4 a try then try these suggestions.
The Multirow Bookmarks Toolbar extension is no longer supported by the developer for Firefox 4.

You may have to disable hardware acceleration to stop the vibrating

In Firefox 4 [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode Safe mode] disables extensions and disables hardware acceleration.
* Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
If you want to try out Firefox 4 then you can do a custom install in a separate program folder ("C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox4\"). That will allow you to keep the two versions separated from each other.
You also need to create a new profile exclusively for the Firefox 4 version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch that profile.

COM+ Event System failed to fire the StartShell and Logon method after installation of PM 1.43

Hi Guys,
After installation of Power Manager 1.43, the following errors were immediate shown at event viewer: COM+ Event System failed to fire the StartShell and Logon method on subscription {F6FE5592-FCBC-44AD-A836-D37F5085ED5B}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}-{00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000}. The subscriber returned HRESULT 80004001.
Please advice if this is a known issue? Thanks!

I got the new 8.0 version of firefox today and now when I put a new URL in an open tab or type a URL in a new tab, NOTHING HAPPENS!! HELP!!!!!

Since I installed the 8.0 Firefox version earlier today I have been unable to get to new Web pages by typing in their URLs. If I click on a link in a tab which was open before the install ( and was called up by Restore Session after I installed the new version) - say in one of my email messages in the Hotmail tab or a tab with another Web page showing - all is well and I go to the new page. Same if I click on the Back arrow: I can go back and forward to pages which have already been opened in the prior session.
However, if I type a URL to a new site into the address/location bar, OR open a new tab and enter a URL there ... when I press the Enter key NOTHING AT ALL happens. Same thing if I click on the Go to new address arrow that appears at the right side of the location bar - nothing. This has happened over and over.
What is going on? If I use IE, everything works just fine, so it must be something in Firefox. Do I need to just go back the the previous version of Firefox which I had before this latest update? As it is now, I can't go to any pages I haven't looked at in my restored session, which is not only frustrating but makes Firefox pretty useless for future use. Or, if it's some other problem, any ideas on what and how to fix it? Thanks.

Did you have the Google Toolbar installed?

How to stop firefox from going to a URL your most is hovering over when you type in a URL and press enter.

When you open a new tab and begin to type a url to visit, if your mouse is hovering over any of the suggested results when you press enter, instead of firefox going to the url you have typed, it goes to the url that the mouse was hovering over.
Is there a way to disable this functionality as it is annoying when you are say, trying to access youtube or google, but then you goto a completely different page from your history because your mouse was hovering over a suggested result.

I restarted in safe mode with all add-ons disabled and the problem still persists. Apparently a friend also seems to have this problem.
How to reproduce (to the best of my knowledge)
1) click on url bar
2) start typing part of a url which generates many results from history
3) mouse over one of the results (usually the first as thats where the mouse is after clicking on the url bar)
4) press enter with autofilled url in url bar
What happens is say that i start typing "goo" for google.com, firefox will auto complete with http://google.com, but since my mouse is hovering over a historic google search result it opens what ever my mouse is hovering over even though the url bar says "http://google.com"

You can open the Phone app then tap Recents then the blue 'i" in a blue circle at the right of the number then "Create New Contact" then tap a field such as "First" name and the keyboard should appear.

We have a URL iview in EP 7.0.When we run URL iview, logon page appears.This site user ID and password are the same as portal user id and password.
How can pass user id and password screen in URL iview?User want to see his/her menu without entering user id and password in the URL iview.

Ok, i understood you the other way.
Thoose parameter are used for logging on to the portal from another system.
You want to logon to another system from the portal.
You will need to use usermapping of the portal
You create a system and an alias for the webpage you want to logon to.
In you user adminstration you can the maintain a user mapping for the user to the system.
At last you can configure the iView to use the mapping.
