Com.sap.guid.GUID com.sap.mw.rfc.engine.GUID

Hi to All!
I’ am looking for javadoc for the classes com.sap.guid.GUID and com.sap.mw.rfc.engine.GUID.
Has anybody a link for me
Regards
Hermann

Hi Nagarjuna,
You can paste the conection properties?.
try {
      // Change the logon information to your own system/user
      mConnection =
        JCO.createClient("001", // SAP client
          "<userid>",           // userid
          "****",               // password
          null,                 // language
          "<hostname>",         // application server host name
          "00");                // system number
      mConnection.connect();
      mRepository = new JCO.Repository("ARAsoft", mConnection);
You need use server router string or simple server hostname??.
if you need use route string conection, concatenate router string with hostname:
try {
      // Change the logon information to your own system/user
      mConnection =
        JCO.createClient("001", // SAP client
          "<userid>",           // userid
          "****",               // password
          null,                 // language
          "<router string><hostname>",         // application server host name
          "00");                // system number
      mConnection.connect();
      mRepository = new JCO.Repository("ARAsoft", mConnection);

    Hello,
    I am assuming you are speaking about 100 concurrent users and not the entire company userbase.
    Core i5 (although is dual core underneath) is generally meant for desktops, having said this, please note that its difficult to arrive at any recommendation based on simply userbase. You need to have more data with you with respect to amount of transactions, concurrent users, peak period, load during peak period etc.
    You need to use SAP's quicksizer to calculate the amount of SAPS for your production servers, SAPS is the unit used to calibrate your hardware for running SAP Applications.
    If you provide your SAPS value to hardware vendor, they will advise what CPU rating and how many CPUs you need. They will infact tell you the entire configuration that you need.

  • SAP Netweaver RFC SDK bindings for Node.js

    Hi all,
    I have just completed a first version of bindings to the SAP Netweaver RFC SDK for [Node.js|www.nodejs.org].
    You are encouraged to inspect and download the source code on [https://github.com/jdorner/node-sapnwrfc|https://github.com/jdorner/node-sapnwrfc]. For further convenience, I have also supplied a package for use with the node package manager (npm). Nevertheless, you will have to download the SAP NW RFC SDK beforehand. Thus, you should carefully read the README on GitHub for more detailed instructions.
    Please let me know if you have problems installing/compiling the module. At the moment it has only been tested on a x86_64 linux platform.
    Regards,
    Joachim

    Thanks Mike,
    For example we want to executie Function Module and need to prepare/allocate TABLE parameter.
    In doing so we need to invoke function RfcGetStructureDescHandle is described in doc.
    However, we cannot find it anywhere in H files under SAP NW SDK 7.10 dir structure.
    Do you have an example of how to create a TABLE parameter (export for example).
    We are going to reproduce the symptom with the demo source distributed with the SDK.
    Any help/suggestions is greatly appreciated,
    Alfonso

  • Download latest SAP NW RFC SDK

    Hello,
    I need to know where I can download the latest SAP NW RFC SDK (7.20). According to note 1025361 it should be available for the following platforms I need:
        Windows x86 32-Bit (Versionen: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7)
        Windows x86_64 64-Bit (Versionen: Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7)
    I followed the path mentioned there
    http://service.sap.com/patches
    -> Browse our Download Catalog
    -> Additional Components
    -> SAP NW RFC SDK
    -> SAP NW RFC SDK 7.11
    -> <Plattform>
    -> NWRFC_9-20004xxx.SAR
    But there is no NW RFC SDK download for Windows x86 32bit, only Windows x64 64bit. But I also need the 32bit SDK. Where can I find it?

    I think Windows Server I32 32bit should do it...
    I'm trying this out now...

  • Installation Error - SAP Unicode RFC Library Not Found

    Out of approxoimately two dozen successful client installations of the BObj Integration Kit for SAP Solutions (SP2), I have one user who gets this error:  "The SAP Unicode RFC Library could not be found.  This library is available as a part of the SAP Frontend, which is a pre-requisite for the installation of this software.  Please install 'Unicode RFC Libraries' feature in SAP GUI Installer 710 installer, then re-run this setup."
    The problem is that this user is running the exact same Integration Kit installation on top of the the exact same SAPGUI installation that has generated successful results for all other client installs on our team.  Why would this probelm be happening for one particular user?  (Problem is happening on a Windows XP client system, but as I've mentioned, all other installs on a Windows XP client have been fine.)
    I've reviewed OSS Note 1372466, but it indicates that the problem resides on the SAPGUI server side.  Regardless, I have only one client generating this error out of many what appeared to be identical clients that installed successfully.
    Any ideas would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Josh

    Thanks, Ingo.  A missing librfc32u.dll file seemed to be the problem.  Interestingly, the problematic client had this dll in a couple of places, but not in the c:\WINDOWS\System32 directory.  Why that dll wasn't in the right place for one particular client is a question for a different forum.
    Thanks,

    In order to use RFC as sender need to configure the below
    SAP Side
    RFC destination of type T using SM59 tcode
    PI side
    RFC destination of TYPE t type using same tcode
    Note the progid provided should be same in both RFC destionations
    Then during execution of RFC in SAP side need to provide the RFC destionation created there

  • SAP.Connector.Rfc.dll installing to 2 directories

    I am installing SAPGUI Frontend components including the BW and BI add-on components on a Windows XP/SP2 system with .NET 1.1 already loaded.
    I've read on this forum that SAP.Connector.Rfc.dll and other .NET assemblies are installed to the GAC, but I saw on a test machine where this assembly (and others) were installed to both the GAC and to the ProgramFiles\sap\frontend\bw directory as well.
    Is there a requirement for the .NET assemblies to be in the bw directory ( or other private SAP directory as opposed to the GAC?   )
    If anybody from SAP knows the answer, it would be much appreciated.  Thanks!
    Thanks,

    Hi Sowmya C,
    How are you doing ?
    Upon addition of any SAP component, the reference is added automatically.
    However, in the event that the reference to "SAP.Connector.dll"
    is not present, you can add it through the references tab, provided that the SAP.NET Connector is installed on the local machine [as this will allow you to add the dll reference locally, like you would reference anyother local assembly]
    It is of type .NET dll

  • Configuring WCF-SAP for RFC Call

    Hi,
    I want help in configuring the WCF-SAP adapter in a receive port.
    I have done configuration set like below:
    But when SAP calls RFC then I am getting below error in application log:
    Thanks, Girish R. Patil.

    Examine the non-resumable message in your Group Box. It will reveal the Context Properties of the message from SAP that the Publish/Subscribe engine tried (and failed) to find a matching subscription for.
    After examining the message, create an Orchestration and/or Send Port that subscribes to some of the Context Properties.
    Also: Remember that if your subscriptions require message type or you have Map(s) on your Receive Port, you need to use the XMLReceive Pipeline and not the PassThruReceive.

  • Crash in SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK DLL

    Hello community,
    I have a problem with the SAP NetWeaver RFC SDK. Once in a while I get a crash with such error message:
    Unhandled exception at 0x000007FEF1D3DD6E (sapnwrfc.dll) in bridgeserver.exe.22108.dmp: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000008.
    Basically I get function metadata, set the call parameters using the API calls and call RfcInvoke. It crashes. The callstack is:
    sapnwrfc.dll!000007fef1d3dd6e()
    sapnwrfc.dll!000007fef1d56613()
    msvcr80.dll!_CallSettingFrame ()
    msvcr80.dll!__CxxCallCatchBlock ()
    ntdll.dll!RcConsolidateFrames ()
    sapnwrfc.dll!000007fef1d5653a()
    sapnwrfc.dll!000007fef1d2c4f7()
    call RfcInvoke from my code
    I've got the call stack from one of the two crash dumps I've got. I took a look on the registers and assembly of the top frame and it looks like an indirect acces to a field of a structure but the pointer to structure is NULL.
    Is there any way I can debug it further? I'm already pretty sure that the parameters to RfcInvoke are correct (no messed-up pointers).

    Thanks Mike,

  • SAP NW RFC SDK throws RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER when running sample programs?

    Hi there,
    I have just downloaded the latest version of the SAP NW RFC SDK (NWRFC_7-20004565.SAR) for Linux 64 bit from the Service Marketplace and am trying to run the demo programs.
    NOTE: I removed the "sapnwrfc.ini" from the current directory so that it would not be used at all..
    Also note that I can use the OLD RFC SDK and connect happily to the same SAP system I am trying to connect to below using the SAP NW RFC SDK....so I definetly have the cirrect settings.....
    So I compiled a CLIENT test program like:
    gcc -m64 -Wall -g ./sflightClient.c -I/home/lynton/Desktop/nwrfcsdk/include -L/home/lynton/Desktop/nwrfcsdk/lib -lsapnwrfc -lsapucum -o ./sflightClient
    And then passed in VALID paramters to an SAP system I have access to and I keep getting RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER even though I have not touched the code below in the sflightClient.c program
         loginParams[0].name = cU("ashost");     loginParams[0].value = argc > 1 ? argv[1] : cU("hostname");
         loginParams[1].name = cU("sysnr");     loginParams[1].value = argc > 2 ? argv[2] : cU("50");
         loginParams[2].name = cU("user");     loginParams[2].value = argc > 3 ? argv[3] : cU("user");
         loginParams[3].name = cU("passwd");     loginParams[3].value = argc > 4 ? argv[4] : cU("******");
         loginParams[4].name = cU("client");     loginParams[4].value = argc > 5 ? argv[5] : cU("800");
         loginParams[5].name = cU("lang");     loginParams[5].value = cU("EN");
    I have also tried the stfcDeepTableServer.c program....and there I put in VALID settings....(and made the parameters UPPERCASE just like the settings in the "sapnwrfc.ini" file....
    serverCon[0].name = cU("PROGRAM_ID");     serverCon[0].value = cU("TEST_SERVER");
            serverCon[1].name = cU("GWHOST");     serverCon[1].value = cU("test.server");
         serverCon[2].name = cU("GWSERV");     serverCon[2].value = cU("sapgw00");
         repoCon[0].name = cU("CLIENT");     repoCon[0].value = cU("000");
         repoCon[1].name = cU("USER");          repoCon[1].value = cU("BCUSER");
         repoCon[2].name = cU("PASSWD");     repoCon[2].value = cU("minisap");
         repoCon[3].name = cU("LANG");          repoCon[3].value = cU("EN");
         repoCon[4].name = cU("ASHOST");     repoCon[4].value = cU("test.server");
         repoCon[5].name = cU("SYSNR");     repoCon[5].value = cU("00");
            repoCon[6].name = cU("TRACE");     repoCon[6].value = cU("3");
    I have the UUIDD daemon running perfectly on my box, but yet I keep getting this RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER regardless if I just test the SERVER REGISTRATION or a simple client connection.
    I am connecting to a NON unicode system but that would not make a difference.....
    Any idea what would cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated ....
    Thanks
    Lynton

  • SAP.Connector.Rfc  INVALID_QUEUE_NAME

    I have an application that is using the .Net Connector 2.0 to access some standard and custom BAPIs in SAP.
    Occasionally when calling the BAPI_CUSTOMER_CHANGEFROMDATA1 BAPI from the application the .Net Connector throws an exception.  The Source of Exception is SAP.Connector.Rfc.  The Message is INVALID_QUEUE_NAME.
    I haven’t been able to find any information on this error message in the SDN archives or in the Connector documentation and would be grateful for any insight that anyone can offer.
    Helga (for James Green)

    Rainer,
    I think the answer is that we don’t really know what kind of exception it is, I’m sorry.  The only way to find out would be to trap that in code, and our 3rd party product provider will do that, but that won’t be before next week.
    At the moment all I have is the source and message of the exception.
    Hope you or someone can still help.

  • Is SAP Adapter(RFC, IDOC) dead?

    Hi
    SAP plan to create ESA services for all SAP applications.
    But has RFC/IDOC technology future? What do you think?
    Companies will not need expensive SAP Adapter more
    and XI will not have an advantage in this case.
    It will be enough to have some lightweight and cheap ESB with BPEL engine.

    Denis
    It is not that if we are going to have a new product / service in market then the old technology will not be used. Take an example of Business connector which is there before years but still is being used eventhough XI is present in the market. Still SAP says that it will support but they ask to migrate to the new technology to keep pace with the growing market. There are lot of companies who are using SAP with RFC/IDOC technology. Hence eventhough SAP plans to create ESA services it still will support the existing technology.
