MIGMON Error : com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor
Hi all
We are installing BI 7 on AIX Oracle db.
During the phase IMPORT ABAP (phase 16/19)
We get the following error message
java version "1.4.2"

The java class is not found: com.sap.inst.migmon.imp.ImportMonitor
After investigation we have found posts where some consultans have updated MIGMON.SAR ; unfortunaterlly this has not solved our issue.
We still have the same error message
If anyone has an idea ;thanks in advance

rahulHello,
Please check the JVM-settings as per note
1024539 (including the environment-variables and APARS).
For some reason the 'migmon.jar' - file can no longer
be found in your installation directory
It might be sufficient to copy the archive 'MIGMON.SAR' from your
master-cd (subdirectory IM_AIX_PPC64/COMMON/INSTALL) to your
installation directory and extract the archive there by 'SAPCAR -xvf
If the problem persists
apply the latest patch as per note

Curl: (7) couldn't connect to host
I've been troubleshooting a weird problem in PHP -- turns out it's system-level and not PHP related. In a nutshell:
1. filegetcontents ($url) doesn't work -- (on remote URLs or local URLs) -- it turns an error
2. filegetcontents ($file) works.
3. CURL works on remote URLs, not on local URLs (local.thishost.com).
4. as per php.ini, allowurlfopen On
So, if, at the command line, I enter
curl "http://www.apple.com"
I get the web page. But if I enter a local host:
curl "http://thisbox.domain.com"
I get the error "curl: (7) couldn't connect to host". Now, that same URL if entered on a different machine on the network (but DNS directs to the serveR), it resolves and the page is returned.
Any ideas how to solve this?
...ReneThe local DNS configuration or local DNS server looks to be incorrectly configured or otherwise not operating as intended, or the local server here is not configured to forward its DNS translations to the appropriate local DNS server.
If the box is configured and running a DNS server, then the host NIC DNS server setting should be aimed at 127.0.0.1 as its DNS server (and no other DNS servers; only your local server(s) and not your ISP servers), and the local DNS services should be configured to respond to the appropriate hosts.
If the local box is not configured as a DNS server, then the host NIC should be aimed at the DNS server(s) for your domain, or at your ISP DNS servers; again, don't mix references to local DNS server(s) and to your ISP DNS servers.
For some notes on configuring the DNS server on Mac OS X Snow Leopard Server 10.6, [start here|http://labs.hoffmanlabs.com/node/1436].
The commands to check DNS here are...
$ dig host.example.com # or whatever host and domain name the target box is using here
$ dig -x 192.168.1.1 # or whatever IP address the target host is using
If you're not comfortable with the terminal and the bash shell and its commands, then you can launch the Network Utility out of the Applications > Utilities folder. But bash is probably easier. -

Thanks for the reply. We don't have any custom code related to GP or CAF. We created the GP Process and in the process, we attached the PCD objects to the callable object to call.
In the entire error trace it is referring only sap standard classes only. Also we haven't done any customization Except GP Process creation as i mentioned above.
com.sap.caf.eu.gp.ui.inst.CInstantiation.getProcessTemplate(CInstantiation.java:732),
if you look at my initial report , there are two exceptions i have mentioned. before coming the above error i have observed the following error in the log file, First it is logging the following error and then next showing the above error. Looks like GPService is not able to lookup .
Path to object does not exist at com.sap.nw.eu.gp, the whole lookup name is sap.com/com.sap.nw.eu.gp/GPService.

NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/sql/log/OpenSQLException
I have developed a Java project. It consists of 2 SQLJ files and then a Java class. When I try to execute the Java program, I get a Java error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sap/sql/log/OpenSQLException
at com.mbb.crrs.business.report.dao.ReportDAO.<init>(ReportDAO.sqlj:23)
at com.mbb.crrs.business.report.dao.Test.main(Test.java:24)
Exception in thread "main"
I notice a similar problem on message: Re: Which jar to include com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLException
Is that something that I need to maintain for it to work? Thank you.Hi,
the problem one year ago was that the SQLException class was not available through remote access. I don't know if that might have been changed meanwhile in the latest release.
I implemented a simple work around: I caught every SQL-exception in the method where it was thrown, wrapped the exception message and any nested exception in a self written exception and threw this new exception. That worked fine.

Where is com/sap/security/core/server/secstorefs/SecStoreFS?
Hi,
I am trying to create a Java client in NWDS that retrieves a DataSource object via JNDI from my XI 3.0 system.
I have added the jars I could think of (connector.jar, jta.jar, sapj2eeclient.jar, sapopensta.jar, etc.) to my build path.
When I attempt to retrieve the DataSource object via my Context I get the following exception:

Could someone please tell me which jar contains the class mentioned above?
thanks
BrianHi all,
Update to original question. I realised I was using a newer version of the openSQL api, so changed that.
Now I get a different execption:

Secure Storage for Application Specific Data
Applications or application components, deployed on the J2EE Engine, can save sensitive data
in encrypted form in a secure storage area in the J2EE Engineu2019s configuration database. The
data saved in this area is encrypted using a secret key that is created explicitly for the application
or service. The J2EE Engine uses the triple DES algorithm to perform the encryption.
You can use two approaches for storing and maintaining the encrypted data for the individual
applications or application components:
u2022 Centralized storage
With centralized storage, applications or application components use the Secure Storage
service on the J2EE Engine to encrypt and decrypt the data. This data is also stored in the
corresponding secure storage context on the J2EE Engine. You can control the
parameters of this secure storage area from the properties of the Configuration Manager.
For more information
u2022 Decentralized storage
With decentralized storage, the applications and application component maintain their own
storage area for the encrypted data. They only uses the Secure Storage service on the
J2EE Engine to retrieve the key, which is necessary to encrypt and decrypt the data.

Hi there,
I'm trying to generate Java Proxies for SAPJCO using the SAP Java Connectivity Builder (JCB). I got it from the NetWeaver 6.20 Release. The tool installs and runs properly but after putting in the connection properties and klicking "next", the application hangs. When activating System output, I get the error shown below.
I already tried to put all jar files contained in the C:\JBuilder5\lib\ext directiry into the classpath (but none of them contains the class mentioned).
Which is the right (standalone) tool for generating Java Proxies for a standalone Java application?
If it is JCB, is there a bug on the version I use (NetWeaver Release 6.20)?
Any help would be apreciated.

1) Can you check the class path you have mentioned is correctly
2) Setting of the Java in your system ( Desk top /Lap top ) check the Proxy settings
3) Re start the J2EE engine in the server
