  • Combining two existing forms

    I have created two different forms that I need to combine. Whether I have someone fill out Form B is conditional on an answer within Form A. It would be nice if, at completion of Form A, the user could be sent directly to Form B. Is there any way to do this with two existing forms instead of re-typing all the information every time I need to apply Form B to future forms?

    Hi,
    Sorry, we are not supporting it right now. But it's a very interesting idea, and I suggest you to add or vote on feature ideas:

  • Combining two or more interactive forms

    How do you combine two or more interactive PDF's in Livecycle? I want to combine at least two forms I created separately in Livecycle so I can print them double sided. I am new to this program. If it is a matter of coding, could someone please explain the steps needed to achieve this. I'm hoping it is possible.
    Thanks

    The only way to combine two LiveCycle forms is in Acrobat. There is a button at the top in Arobat Pro that say "Create". Click that and select PDF Portfolio from the bottom of that list. You can then pick how you would like your portfolio to look and work, and then click the "Add Files" button. You can add as many files as you need to. The display can be customized by changing the color themes, importing a background image or map and creating a custom header. The nice thing about a portfolio is that it can contain a variety of files, not just LiveCycle forms. You can import Word files, videos, music, whatever and when the user selects a file, it will open the native program that they have installed on their computer to run it. Individual pages can be extracted and saved to the user's computer, forms can be filled in and saved back to the portfolio.
    The portolio is then saved as a pdf and the total size is less than the sum of all of it's parts. It can then be emailed and opened by anyone with the free Adobe Reader. We use it to combine brochures and forms in the same pdf to make it easy for our clients to access everything they need.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to combine two or more adobe forms in Java web dynpro

    Hi All,
             I have a scenario where I have few screens each  - a separate adobe form. For e.g. One adobe form for item creation, one fore details, one for planning. I need to combine all this into one and save a copy of the PDF.
    Save PDF option is present in the adobe options but it saves only the current form. I want to combine few forms and save the whole thing into 1 PDF document. Is there anyway we can do this?
    I am using web dypro java for Adobe forms on NWDS 7.0

    Hi Amit,
    Thanks for the response but my requirement is different.
    I have to combine the contents of three PDFs (different adobe forms in different views in one web dynpro component) into one PDF ( a separate Adobe Form in different view in the same web dypro component).
    I would be glad to know if you have a solution for such scenario. I am working on this since 4 days with no solution yet.

    Hi
    You can concatenate the 2 variable and display it on that field.

  • Two buttons in Adobe Form

    Hello,
    I am using Netweaver 2004s SP10. Does any body know how to incorporate two buttons in a Adobe Interactive Form. I want to insert approve button and reject button with different actions for each button.
    Moreover, How can we remove the toolbar buttons in the adobe form at runtime. since they occupy a major portion of area. How to reomve the print, save, all these buttons.
    Thanks, any help is appreciated.
    Sunita.

    hi Sunita,
    as far as i have seen it...
    we have two types of buttons that are accesible in WebDynpro.
    GOTO interactive form->edit->Library tab->web dynpro tab
    1).Submit to SAP and 2).Check.
    these two buttons and their corresponding events and actions are available in Web Dynpro when the form is available online(ONLINE scenario).
    you can change the text on these buttons to ur requirement like "APPROVE" or "REJECT" in the form editor.
    now these two buttons in the form will just act like buttons in Web Dynpro layout.
    in the properties of the interactive form you can see events for these....
    now you can go to implementation and write as desired code.
    the code for rejecting and approving the form...
    (You must be knowing that the contents of the form are available in the ONLINE scenario in the corresponding CONTEXT attributes of the form for use in dynpro
    ie when online you can modify the contents of the Form by working on dynpro Context attributes like getAttribute(), or setAttribute(). )

  • Overlapping two tables in adobe form

    Hi
    I have a requirement to print details based on different bill numbers in different pages.
    I have two internal tables
                    1. it_inrt  containing two fields
                    2. it_prts containing four fields  .
    Tthese two tables are looping separately. during program execution it_inrt overlaps it_prts. my question is that how to prevent this overlapping i want to print it_prts only after printing all rows of it_inrt and the excess rows will continue in  the next page.
    Please help me to solve this problem.

    Hi,
    You have to 2 internal tables right,
    You have to print the data which is in First internal table and same for second internal table..
    Place thes to tables(one after another ) in Desgin page of - Adobe forms..
    Under page there is  Untitled content area and renamed as ( page area 1)
    In hierachy tab -  By default you will see the Untiled Subform page ( Here drag the First Internal table to here and change the   subflow as flowed ,pagiantaion as continued in untitled area). add another internal table to this form..
    create a new page with only Untitled content area and renamed as ( page area 2)
    Steps:
    Select Untitiled subform - under pagination - Place Select ( In content area of page area 1 )
                                              if dataset must be paginated -  overflow to ( Go to content area of Page area 2 )
                                            - under subform - make the content as flowed and check the allow page breaks within content.

  • Can I combine two projects in adobe premiere elements 12?

    is there a way to combine two or more projects and keep the frames so I can move them around in the new project without recutting them up into their segments?

    twistedhornforge
    What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on?
    You cannot import one Premiere Elements (any version) project file (project.prel) into another.
    You can transfer from project to project by
    a. exporting the content from project 1 to project 2 by exporting the Timeline content from project 1 to a file saved to the computer hard drive in a format compatible with the project 2 and then importing the saved file into project 2 with project 2's Add Media/Files and Folders.
    b. if your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 is running on Windows, then you can consider ClipMate (Windows Only) in conjunction with Premiere Elements for a copy/paste insert between two Premiere Elements projects.

    Hi,
    SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe Locate the document in its SAP Library structure
    Purpose
    As of SAP NetWeaver ’04 (in SAP Web Application Server), you can use a new solution to create interactive forms and print forms for the optimization of your form-based business processes. This solution uses Portable Document Format (PDF) and software from Adobe Systems Inc. that has been integrated into the SAP environment.
    You can create interactive forms in PDF format that allow users to fill out the form on the screen and save their entries in XML format in the form. When the SAP system receives the PDF form, it extracts the data saved in the form, and can process it further.
    You can also merge a form template with current system data to generate a PDF document that can then be printed or sent by e-mail.
    SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe offer you the following business advantages:
    &#9679;      Interactive functions automate the creation of data for SAP systems
    &#9679;      Full integration into the SAP development environments for Java and ABAP
    &#9679;      User-friendly tools reduce the time and costs associated with creating form layouts.
    &#9679;      The usage of the PDF format means that forms retain their appearance regardless of the environment they are used in.
    Note
    In certain circumstances, you require a license for interactive forms. For more detailed information, read SAP Note 750784 on SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/notes.
    Implementation Considerations
    SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe are particularly well suited to business processes in which employees enter data in a form-based solution and then want to transfer this data automatically to the SAP system. In the simplest cases, you only require the free Adobe Reader to display or fill out PDF forms on your front end.
    Integration
    SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe is included in SAP Web Application Server and can be used by any applications that are based on SAP NetWeaver ’04 or later.
    The following Adobe software is included in the form solution:
    &#9679;      Adobe LiveCycle Designer
    A graphical tool for designing form layouts; it is integrated into SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and ABAP Workbench.
    &#9679;      Adobe Document Services
    Web services used to generate the PDF forms at runtime; in interactive scenarios, they extract the XML data from the form and send it to the system.
    Adobe Document Services run on SAP J2EE Engine. This means that you must install the Java Stack of SAP Web Application Server, regardless of the development language of your application (ABAP or Java).
    Features
    SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe offer the following basic functions:
    &#9679;      Create form templates for the layout that include logos or pictures
    &#9679;      Generate documents by merging form templates and current system data
    &#9679;      Edit forms online or offline
    &#9679;      Forms can be filled in advance automatically with specific data from SAP applications and then sent to the correct recipients using secure methods
    &#9679;      Automatic consistency checks for forms
    &#9679;      Activate enhanced functions such as comments
    &#9679;      Digital signatures and form certification
    &#9679;      Send completed forms to the SAP application with automatic updates of the business data
    There are two basic types of forms:
    Interactive Forms
    For business processes that require close cooperation between employees, you can design interactive forms as a part of a Web Dynpro application.
    You can use the following development environments:
    &#9679;      Interactive Forms in Web Dynpro for Java in SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio
    &#9679;      Interactive Forms in Web Dynpro for ABAP in ABAP Workbench
    These forms can contain dropdown menus, pushbuttons, text fields, and other elements that enable users to enter data. The form is generated in PDF format, which, for example, can be displayed by the user in a browser. The user uses Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat to fill out the form and saves the changes made to the form in XML format. The SAP system extracts the data from the form and saves it to the database, where it can be processed further.
    You can use these forms in two basic scenarios:
    &#9679;      Online
    The user is logged on to the SAP system when he or she fills out the form.
    &#9679;      Offline
    The user is not logged on to the SAP system when he or she fills out the form. Once the form has been filled out, the user sends it to the issuer of the form, for example by e-mail. The SAP system of the issuer then extracts the data from the form.
    Forms for Printing, E-Mail, or Fax
    You can use the Form Builder (integrated into ABAP Workbench) to create PDF-based print forms that you can then print or send by e-mail or fax. When you create these print forms, you can rely on the tried and trusted principle of separate data retrieval and form layout processes. This enables you to make changes to either one of the processes, without affecting the other.

    Purpose
    Web Dynpro for ABAP or Web Dynpro for ABAP (WD4A, WDA) is the SAP standard UI technology for developing Web applications in the ABAP environment. It consists of a runtime environment and a graphical development environment with special Web Dynpro tools that are integrated in the ABAP Workbench (SE80).
    Web Dynpro offers the following advantages for application developers:
    &#9679;      The use of declarative and graphical tools significantly reduces the implementation effort
    &#9679;      Web Dynpro supports a structured design process
    &#9679;      Strict separation between layout and business data
    &#9679;      Reuse and better maintainability by using components
    &#9679;      The layout and navigation is easily changed using the Web Dynpro tools
    &#9679;      Stateful applications are supported – that is, if the page is changed and the required data remains intact so that you can access it at any time throughout the entire application context.
    Note that stateless applications are not possible.
    &#9679;      Automatic data transport using data binding
    &#9679;      Automatic input check
    &#9679;      User interface accessibility is supported
    &#9679;      Full integration in the reliable ABAP development environment

  • Excel to .pdf/ Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Forms - whatever may work best and easiest

    If we can, how, create excel formulas in either pdf or adobe acrobat or adobe forms. Something that will work in same way as it would in excel.

    Thank you for your advices.
    I already download Acrobat SDK before, but it's really complicated for someone who know only VBA at intermediate level.
    I really plan to learn javascripts and COM in future, but I was thinking that if I ask you for I guess easy think (opening files and saving them to pdf) you will help by giving similar code or some clues.
    Anyway I found  this two methods in documentation: PDDoc.Save and PDDoc.Open and I believe that a combination of them can finally help me. Do you know how I can connect them to one part?

  • Need Help With Combining Two Variables For A Redirect

    Hello-
    <br />
    <br />In a different part of my site (built with ADDT) I have this script that creates a variable by combining two session variables, and then the new variable is submitted into a mysqul database table using a hidden form field:
    <br />
    <br />
    <form>
    <input type="hidden" name="exerreference" id="exerreference" value="<?php echo $_SESSION['kt_login_user']; ?><?php echo $_SESSION['kt_exer_reference']; ?> <br />" />
    <br />
    <br />There is also this part of the script in the header script:
    <br />
    <br />$ins_exer1-&gt;addColumn("exerreference", "STRING_TYPE", "POST", "exerreference");
    <br />
    <br />What I am trying to do now on another page is combine a session variable "kt_login_user" with a piece of dynamic text "AA" so that I can compare it to the field "exerreference" that was inserted into the database using the above script. If the two variables match, the idea is to have a redirect to another page.
    <br />
    <br />So in a hypothetical example, if the value of the session variable "kt_login_user " is "bestperson," and static text is "AA" then I need to create the variable bestpersonAA (because this is how the variables exist in the exerreference recordset). This variable bestpersonAA then needs to be compared to the recordset value exerreference and if they match, the page redirects to ../previous/portalpre.php. If the two variables do not match, then there is no redirect.
    <br />
    <br />Here is what I have so far:
    <br />
    <br />if (isset($_SESSION['kt_login_user']))
    <br />{
    <br />if ($_SESSION['kt_login_user'.'AA'] = $row_Recordsetexer1['exerreference'])
    <br />{
    <br /> header ("Location: ../previous/portalpre.php");
    <br />}
    <br />}
    <br />
    <br />The script doesn't work yet - it's redirecting regardless of if the two varibles match. Any ideas on the correct syntax to get this working correctly?
    <br />
    <br />Thanks
    <br />Dale</form>

    Hi Dale,
    if ($_SESSION['kt_login_user'.'AA'] = $row_Recordsetexer1['exerreference'])
    for checking whether two variables match, you´ll need the == comparison operator:
    if ($_SESSION['kt_login_user'.'AA'] == $row_Recordsetexer1['exerreference'])

    It is Simple Adobe Form with two fields(Firstname and Last name ) not table. I am getting UI Interactive form but not getting PDF. I am using NWDS 7.0.15 and Adobe Live Cycle Designer 7.1.
    Please help me out.
    Thanks
    Risha

    Hi Risha,
    In NWDS Web Dynpro perspective, when you create a project, you will be able to create an InteractiveForm UI Element in any view. You need to set the 'datasource' property to some context node with attributes. You open the Adobe Designer for this InteractiveForm UI Element by choosing the context menu option 'Edit'. You can create some form elemnts for it by dragging the attributes of the binded datasource node from 'Data View' to the form preview area. When you build, deploy & run your application after this, you get this form in the browser. You can now save this form as pdf.
    You can refer to https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/user-interface-technology/wd%20java/7.0/adobe/how%20to%20handle%20table%20input%20and%20output.pdf (Using Table in Adobe Form)
    Hope this helps you.
