Combined Planned order

Hi gurus,
i am working for steel industry, i am using MILL_OC functionlaity.
i want to combine 10-12 planned orders into single planned order ( not production order) and that planned order should be get
converted into one single prod order.so that at the time of GRN, only one prod order will be there.
( coz in MILL_OC  system converts all planned order into different prod orders)
is this possible to do this??
thanks & regards
sandeep

Dear,
Yes you can do this in MILL_OC,
First, you need to select the original orders planned order we want to combine.  We need to define one of the selected orders as a reference order. As soon as we have selected the orders, a newplanned order is created using the master data of the reference order. This new order is the combined order. In order to create the original orders as items in the combined order.

  • MTO material - Combine three planned orders into one process order

    Hi Gurus,
Does anyone know if and how I can convert three planned orders of the same material into one process order?
    So:
    1.
Sales order 1 (material X) --> generates Planned order 1
Sales order 2 (material X) --> generates Planned order 2
Sales order 3 (material X) --> generates Planned order 3
    2.
    Process orders 1,2,3 (material X) --> Process order 1
    3.
Process order 1 --> reserved sales order stock for sales orders 1,2 and 3

    M,
One process order cannot create Sales Order Stock for three different sales order items.  A single process order can produce Sales order stock for AT MOST 1 sales order/item.
This scenario can be achieved under a Make to Stock environment, where the production order creates 'generic' stock (not sales order specific).

  • Combining multiple planned orders into single purchase requisition

    Hi Gurus,
could anyone please tell me how to convert multiple planned orders generated during MRP run into a single purchase requisition? Also, is there any other way of getting single purchase requisition fcreated after MRP run for a procured item which is part of multiple BOMs?
    Thanks and regards,
    Abhik

    Hi,
Conversion of Multiple planned order to single Purchase requisition is not possible.
But you can have a single Pur.Req for Multiple requirements.
    You can do this by:
    1. Individual/collective indicator "2" collective requirements for the Header Material so that you will get your dependent requirements clubbed together.
    2. Period Lot sizing : Daily/weekly/monthly Lot size so that system will club the entire period requirements and propose a single lot.
    3. for low value materials you can have Reorder Point planning also.
    Hope this helps..

  • Can we combine many plan order to 1 PR?

    Dear Guru,
I have got the requirement to merge many plan order to 1 PR.
Is it possible to merge them?
I try to use MD15 but I don't know how to merge them.
    Please kindly advice.
    Thank you very much.
    Saiyaman

    Dear Sai,
    Suggetion would be
    If the scenario is MTO
Then in MRP - 4 view make  indi/coll indicator to collective
If required one plan order weekly then use lot size as WB in MRP - 1 view
If required one plan order monthly then use lot size as MB in MRP - 1 view

  • Issue in creation of Planned Order

    Hi all,
There is a customer requirement on 08.02.2010 and there is shortage quantity as we don't have enough stock in the warehouse to cover the cust req. So when I run the MRP, planned orders are not getting created on 8th. Can you please tell me what could be the reason?
    Regards,
    Brijesh

    Hi,
Are you saying that the planned order is not getting created at all or is it being created for an earlier date?
If it is not being created at all, check in your sales order, whether the schedule line category is CP i.e. MRP relevant & in MD04 you notice the demand. Also check if the material is MRP planned & has a planning file entry (check using MD21, if no entry, make an entry via MD20).
If it is being created, but at an earlier date, then check the lot sizing procedure. It could be that the lot sizing procedure is weekly or monthly & system has combined the needs & put a supply proposal at an earlier date.
Check the above & revert with additional info if it does not resolve the issue.

I have checked some of the threads related to this error. But no where there is any solution. Please tell me if there is any settings to make so as to work on this scenario.

    Hi,
This will be a MTO scenario. Please check your requirement type,Requirement class and strategy type config along with your Item category and schedule line category from SD.
Also check your Production order type config and settlement profiles.
I mean to say that you need new production order type to be configured for specific above mentioned combination.
Are you working on a production system..?? is it the first time you are creating the order for this config material..??

  • Dedicated scheduling of a planned order having a fixed activity

    Hi Gurus,
We're using PP/DS Optimizer with Total Delay Costs objective function, following a Backwards Scheduling strategy in order to Reduce Premature Scheduling. Order activities are then scheduled as close as possible from the requirement dates. However we would wish to apply a forward scheduling strategy to the orders having a fixed activity, but starting from the existing order planned start date instead from the system date, i.e:
    Requirement X due on 18.01.2012
    Output firmed planned order Y with 3 activities (A1, A2, A3), A2 beeing fixed
Optimization result with a Backward scheduling strategy:
    A1 09.11.2011
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 17.01.2012
Optimization result when Backward scheduling setting is unchecked
    A1 NOW
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 17.01.2012
The business requirement we d'like to achieve
    A1 09.11.2011
    A2 18.11.2011
    A3 19.12.2011
It is not foreseen to fix A1 to bypass the problem, above example is only a basic example whereas there're multiple activities in between A1 & A2 in our real material PDS. Is there any way (even with another optimization run, or using in combination a Production Planning Run...) to achieve such a scheduling strategy?
    BR,
    Pascal.

    Hi,
To add further and to more precise, the issue is:
In CM01[or in any capacity evaluation tcode], In a particular maonths load[Period] the opeartion from different month is showing up.
For example: if Period[month] 06 is veiwed of a Workcenter load, a line[load appears], whose earliest date is in 7th month[01.07.2014].
I expected to see, only Workcenters scheduled in 6th month to show up in the load evaluation.
Please look at the screen shot.

  • BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 creating planned order from Restricted Stock

    Hi,
We have a requirement where we need to programmatically replicate the Push Production functionality as in /SAPAPO/RRP3 transaction. We are using the BAPI - BAPI_MOSRVAPS_SAVEMULTI3 and it is working fine for conversion of planned orders and Process Orders to component planned/process orders and dependant demand for the parent material. The issue is when we are trying to convert a restricted stock to a planned order and dependant demand using the BAPI, we are getting a message "No valid source of supply could be found". Please let us know if anyone has a resolution to this issue or if any further details are required.

    Hi,
Tlane is not a field name,I wanted to say Transportation Lane(T-Lane) exist or not in the system for that product-location combination.
For the SOURCE_NAME field, it is clearly mentioned in the documentation of BAPI that,
Selection of sources of supply (for example, PP/DS PPM)
ORDER_END_DATE is used as standard as the selection time for the source of supply (in-house production). If ORDER_END_DATE is empty, the value from ORDER_START_DATE is used instead.
If a different time should be used to select the source of supply, this can be set using the EXPLOSION_DATE field.
If a date field is not specified for an order change, the date of the last explosion of this order is used for source of supply selection.
The entries in the MASTER<...> fields also play a role for source determination. That is, possible sources of supply are searched for on the basis of product, location, quantity, and so on.
For the selection of sources of supply, the setting from the product master for plan explosion is used.
If several possible alternative sources of supply are found, the system chooses one source of supply as standard.
However, if you want to select a specific source of supply that has been found, you can use the fields PLAN_NUMBER + PPM_NUMBER, PROD_VERSION, or SOURCE_NAME. Note that only one combination may be used; you cannot use both PLAN_NUMBER and PROD_VERSION at the same time because both are valid for different source of supply types.
Please check with the functional consultant, in plan explosion field in product master what value they have maintained.
Because BAPI will try to get the source of supply name on basis of that field which is mentioned in the documentation.

  • Grouping of planned Orders

    Hi Suhas,
Can explain more in more detail what exactly you want. If  you are looking for combine the planned order per day and you want the system to create a single procurement proposal then you go for "Lot Size: TB" i.e. daily Lot size.
If you need more clarification feel free to contact.

  • How to cummulate sales orders for creating one planned order.

    Hello friends,
My scenario is make to stock. I use sales orders for creating plan only. I want to cummulate all sales orders of one finish material and create one planned order  for that material when i run mrp. How can i do this?
    Thanks

    Kiran,
What is the planning strategy you are using?
Does all the sales order requirment same? If it is same then it is possible. Please explain more in details. If not you need to look at using some perodic lotsize procedure to combine requirments. Like "Daily", Weekly" "Month" etc..

  • Handling Planned order created from Demand planning and Sales order in MTO

    Hi all
In MTO\ Repetitive we genrate Dependent requirement from demand planning (PIR) after running MRP which finally planned order created but on the other hand in short term we have Sales order which generate planned order after running MRP(In MTO), How we should handle planned order generated from Demand planning and the ones generated from sales order.(both after MRP Running).
    Regards
    Babak Bolourchi

    Dear,
You can combine the planning strategy also main as 56 and second as 65 and in demand managment MD61 you have the option select requirement type.
Then while creating sales order use MTO strategy and take MRP run through MD50 and then MD02.
and if you want to assign the stock to sales order then you and do it through MB1b with 412 E movement type.
As per my knowledge, generally 56 strategy only takes Sales Order Stock into consideration.
Consider setting the Individual/Collective indicator to 2.
Mark those characteristics that should have a usage probability in demand management as Relevant for planning.
    Hope clear to you.

  • Combining several orders in single delivery

    Hi,
I want to combine sales orders which have different requested delviery dates. There will not be availability check in the order creation phase. The planning results will not be updated in item schedule lines. Rescheduling will not be run. So is that possible to combine multiple sales orders with different requested delivery dates in one single delivery without taking into account the item schedule lines?
So the delivery date should be the date of delivery creation date. It shouldn't take into account the requested delivery dates even if they are different.
    For example
    order1 requested del. date 08.06.2009
    order2 requested del. date 10.06.2009(future)
In case of that the materials are already produced for the second order too. We should be able to combine order2 and order1  in one delivery document on 09.06.2009 and ship them.
Keep in mind that requested delivery date is entered as the goods issue date in the order creation. Because transportation lead time is 0
    Thank you

    Hi Friend,
Single delivery for multiple deliveries can be possible with some configuration settings.
    1. In the copy controls from the sales order to delivery VTLA  the combination requirement should be 051
    2. The order combination field in the customer master should be activated .
    3. In the VTLA the copy item number should be deactivated
