Command line delete vpn key

Hi, I'm an ASDM 6.4 command line novice & I'm looking for the command to delete an unused vpn key, e.g. 'key1'.
Can anyone advise? Sorry, tried searching everywhere for the exact command. Or if there's a GUI method?

On an ASA firewall the Pre Shared Key is located under the configurations of the "tunnel-group". So the PSK is tied to the actual VPN configuration
To be honest if you are removing a PSK from an ASA configuration then you are usually removing the whole VPN configurations also.
Depending on your actual ASA software version (not ASDM) the configuration format is different
It can be
tunnel-group VPN ipsec-attributes
ikev1 pre-shared-key *****
or it can be
tunnel-group VPN ipsec-attributes
pre-shared-key *****
The "tunnel-group" are named with the IP address (for example 1.2.3.4) if we are talking about L2L VPN connection. If we are talking about VPN Client connection then the "tunnel-group" is usually some name like in my above example.

I would like to know how to using command line delete the campus entry. I have been playing with the security command, but cannot seem to delete the keychain entry.

VPN Client disconnection from command line

Hi,
I want to connect to IPsec VPN on ISA500 by VPN Client (v 5.0.07.0440, the last version, I think), using command line parameters.
I can connect with the command:
"%programfiles%\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\ipsecdialer.exe" -c -user myUser -pwd myPassword "MyConnectionEntry"
but i don't know the command to disconnect from command lines.
If I do
"%programfiles%\Cisco Systems\VPN Client\ipsecdialer.exe" -?
I obtain the list of parameters
vpngui [-c | -sc [sd] [-user <username>] [-pwd <password> ! -eraseuserpwd]] <connection entry>
but I don't unterstand what I have to do... I try every combination using -sd parameter (I think means for silent disconnect), but in every case I can only to show VPN interface without disconnect anything...
Can anyone help me?

This appears to be a data flow issue. You need to look in the dataflow log file. Your information indicates the project name is SAMPLES.xml, and the data flow ID is D20091213_014350765. Look at the data flow log file in
C:\dqxi\11_7\repository\configuration_rules\runtme_metadata\project_SAMPLES\D20091213_014350765
Alternatively, you can temporarily replace the transactional reader and writter transforms with their corresonding batch transforms, and run the job from the Project Architect. Any errors will be displayed in the Running window.

How can "multiple folders/files" be deleted in ONE PSEXEC COMMAND LINE

I can delete remote folders/files via bat command with psexec (below) but;
It takes a little time because of the 9 different folders. Maybe, looping of txt file can be used for different folders.
So how we can delete multiple folders in ONE PSEXEC COMMAND LINE?

Hi, I'd like to delete more than one workbook from command line:
The following syntax, it doesn't work....but I followed the manual instructions:
dis51adm.exe /connect eul/eul@uatdb /delete /workbook "ALE_TEST_1, ALE_TEST_2" /eul eul /log D:\Ale\delete.log
where:
eul/eul@uatdb: is the db’s schema/user where the EUL is installed;
/delete "ALE_TEST_1, ALE_TEST_2": is the command to delete the workbooks, specified inside the “” (with the relative path)
/log D:\Ale\delete.log: is the command to write a log’s file named “delete.log” to track the action
The log file says:

I was coming to that conclusion myself but wanted to wait until the other avenues had been exhausted first - aka making sure of the workbook names.
I checked through all of the command line documentation and read nothing which clearly indicated that only one workbook could be processed at a time, other than the fact that the syntax says workbook and not workbooks, which could be a big clue.
I think you are right though in that it has to be one at a time, which would be a pain.

F4 key in the command line

F4 key in the command line would display the history of commands used.Would it display the commands used by all the other sessions on the instance or mine alone??If so how does it update those values and where does it get stored on my machine??

F4 key does not mean showing history. The function of F4 key is showing possible input values. It shows what possible entries can be given in some of the options. Not in all cases it shows the possible entries. It shoes possible entries on certain cases. For example if u want to start a background job and u had several application servers u can choose the application server on which u want. If u hit F4 key in the tab it shows all the servers available and u can choose one from tht. Thts how it works. This is equal to possible entries option when u right click in an entry box

my query returns 717k documents in the result-set, is there a way to delete all of them at once ?

Command Line Expert Needed: Deleted hostconfig (+ others) - boots to single user mode only !

Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11
Deleted folders/files when logged in as root user. (don't ask!)
On restart , wont boot up , get grey screen with white apple logo the black screen with command line: localhost:/ root#
Started up from install cd - repaired permissions (ran twice) & verified hard drive . All okay.
Restarted but still goes back into command line with same localhost:/ root prompt
Tried a bunch of different things as per advice on these boards - discovered that there is no hostconfig file.
Restarted into verbose mode.
Here are the lines that i think may reveal exactly what I messed up - and hopefully someone out there has an idea how I can try to fix without having to do an archive/install.

rooting via boot-uuid from /chosen: (here a very long string of numbers and letters looks like a password)

I'm also able to see the contents of my hard drive when using disk utility from install cd and and trying to "mount image" ---
Everything looks intact in terms of folders/files in my user account, but in the /root folder, there's only /library - which is empty.
Any help, insight, troubleshooting and even scolding - will be welcome! I need this thing booted

I do have a start up disk along with some apps that I created in retrospect many years ago ....(I think it's os x 10.2.8) Can I use this to boot up and then just navigate to my user files so I can get some things done that I need to?
Unlikely. For one have you even tried restoring from your Retrospect backup? (it's not the most reliable system).
Secondly, you can't boot from your Retrospect backup, so you'll need to restore that system to boot from it. Have you got a second disk to restore to (you do NOT want to restore 10.2.x over your 10.4.x system).

Ok, maybe not entire random, but it's also somewhat unknown. You need to have some idea of what files you're trying to restore, but if you haven't got them in a backup where are you going to get them from?
You cannot just take old copies from your 10.2.x system and hope they'll work (in case that's what you're thinking).
The BEST solution is to boot from the 10.4.x installer disk and let it do its thing.
And for what its worth, Unauthorized access attempts, in and of themselves, are not a cause for concern since they were clearly caught by the OS. It's the access attempts that succeed (and are not logged) which are more of an issue.

Delete command line breaks?

I'm trying to delete these two folders: #SharedObjects - macromedia.com
but the command line breaks because of the space in the 'Flash Player' folder.

I've noticed that the Forms Builder tries to run the unsaved forms from the user's default home (root) directory, which almost always in windows environment has spaces in it, like "Documents and Settings\...".

BOXI3.1 is installed in Solaris 10 with Oracle 10g as repository.

Which command line to delete all ACL permissions ?

I would like to clean all old ACL permissions in folders and sub-folders, to put on the main share folder the right ACL's and distribute them.
It seems it's impossible in Server Admin interface. Which is the command line able to do that ?
I believe it's something like chmod ???

chmod -N is the command to remove ACLs. -R runs recursively, therefore to recursively remove all ACLs from a directory tree:
sudo chmod -R -N /path/to/dir

Error Received When Trying To Create DSN From The Command Line

Your help is greatly appreciated in advance. I am having trouble packaging Oracle 10G for a batch file deployment. Everything is done except for getting the DSN created which is causing me major problems. We am working with the Oracle 10G R2 10.2.0.1.0 Client on Windows XP Professional SP2. The Oracle database resides on a Windows 2000 Professional Server SP4 running Oracle 9i.
Our Environment: I am creating two packages of the Oracle 10G client. The first is for a batch file distribution via LANDesk and the other package is for normal batch file install if someone from IT is installing this from a user's desk. Both scripts are really identical the only differences are how they are laid out. I only need help with the DSN creation as everything else is ready to go. I am going to focus on the Non-LANDesk batch file as once I fix this in one script the other one should also be fixed.
The Problem: The batch script copies the neccesary files to the temporary directory. I then extract the setup files to the temp folder. I run a custom Oracle install using the RSP file from a recorded install. After the install is complete I copy the TNS Names file to the proper location. I then try to call a CMD file with the ODBC command seen below the main script.

As soon as the command is called I see the following error message appear.
"CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259"
The really strange thing though is that if I let the main part of the script run (Not the ODBC call) and then immediately manually start the ODBC call script it works just fine. So, I don't really understand why the script can't add it itself. Or, I can go the Administrator Tools>Data Sources (ODBC)>and then add it manually which also works. I have tried just pasting the command directly in the main script, therefore, bypassing the call feature but it doesn't make a difference.

I thought it may be related to spaces in the path in which the script was called from. I tried having the ODBC command script in another directory but the same thing happens. It will give me the "CONFIGSYSDSN: Unable to create a data source for the 'Oracle in OraClient10g_home1' driver: Could not load the setup or translator library with error code -2147467259". As soon as the script is done running I can manually double click the script and it adds the DSN fine.

How can I start System Preferences from the command line?

Hello All,
I have an issue I'm not quite sure how to solve. I have been tasked within my business environment with tightening security on a Mac Leopard system and I've been granted Admin Rights to do this on a temporary basis.
The problem is as follows:
1) The original Sys Admin that set up this system is gone, no longer available.
2) He was a Dvorak Keyboard fan and set up the system for a Dvorak Keyboard.
3) The system actually has a standard Apple keyboard and is marked accordingly, i.e., qwerty (Most Users in the building have stopped using this system altogether - a terrible waste of a good system - even though some of their apps can be run normally (US style qwerty settings). The command line is useless, as is texteditor.app and a few others unless you know Dvorak layout)
5) When I open System Preferences, the Dvorak keyboard checkbox is grayed out and I cannot change it. There is no lock at the bottom of that particular screen for me to unlock.
6) Even though I select the US Keyboard at Login, and some apps work accordingly (like MatLab for example) the terminal is borderline useless. I spent over 2 hrs yesterday doing what should have been able to be done in about 30 minutes. I estimate a frustrating and mistake prone additional 8 to 10 hours to do what is normally a a 4 hour job at the command-line.
7) I do not have the time or desire to re-mark all the keys on the keyboard, particularly since it is not my call to do so, nor do I have the time to re-learn Dvorak touch-typing, and finally I do not want to re-load the entire system. I just want to change the darn keyboard to a standard qwerty keyboard that is somewhat useful in a terminal environment with vi, command line, etc. It's either that or I go mildly insane
This is frustrating as all get-out. The new Admin logged in and was able to uncheck his Dvorak settings (he is not a UNIX guy, nor is he comfortable om Macs), and we were hoping this was a system wide setting, but No. We re-booted the system, I logged in, still Dvorak, and the checkbox was still grayed out.
So I figure, short of re-loading the entre system and all the applications necesary, I can either start the Systems Preferences GUI using sudo and hopefully that will change system-wide settings, or I can delete the .AppleSetupDone file and resetup the system (if the keyboard settings are part of the setup) without spending a couple of days reloading everything and re-setting up users, networks, etc.
Needless to say, I am hoping for the easiest and quickest solution to this extremely frustrating and aggravating problem.
