Begum,
Please double check your versions.

  • ORA-24327 error when trying to configure Oracle JDriver 2.0 on Commerce Server 3.5 SP1 on WLServer 6.0 SP2

    When I try to install and configure the Oracle JDriver v.2.0 to work with Commerce
    Server 3.5 SP1 and WebLogic Server 6.0 SP2, on starting up the commerce server,
    I get the exceptions that follow this message. I cannot run the dbping utility
    because it says it cannot find the BEA license file to verify that JDriver is
    licensed for use. I looked over previous discussion threads on this particular
    Oracle error, and the problem in the previous cases appears to have been use of
    the wrong TNS name. I am referencing the same TNS name that is in my server's
    tnsnames.ora file. I can connect to the database using SQLNet and the same connection
    parameters that I have set up in weblogic. My Oracle home directory is set to
    the directory just above the client install. I am trying to configure Commerce
    Server on a Sun SPARC system running Solaris 8. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,

    When I try to install commerce server 3.5 (WLCS_with_sp1UNIX.bin) I get to the
    point were it asks me for the bea home directory, which I enter as /usr/local/bea.
    I then get the message "the weblogic 6.0 is required to be installed, but is not
    present in the bea home directory of /usr/local/bea".
    I have installed wl 6.0 sp 2, and I can get it up and running with no problem.
    It is installed under /usr/local/bea/wlserver6.0.
    I am running under redhat 7.0, and the environment variables are: WEBLOGIC_HOME
    = /usr/local/bea/wlserver6.0
    PATH=${BEA_HOME}/jdk131:${PATH}
    I run the installer with the command:
    sh WLCS_with_sp1UNIX.bin
    Why wont this work?

  • Use of external LDAP server in Weblogic Commerce Server

    I'm using the following software:
    Iplanet Directory Server v5
    Weblogic Application Server v6
    Weblogic Commerce v3.5
    I need to configure Weblogic Commerce Server to use Iplanet Directory Server directory
    services. How do I do that?
    I have a couple of questions related to this:
    1) As Weblogic Commerce Server runs on top of Weblogic v6, does it mean that to
    use an external LDAP server, I need to configure weblogic v6 to do that and not
    Weblogic Commerce Server?
    2) Whatever may be the case above, how do I do that?
    3) config.xml (weblogic application server v6) contains information that needs
    to be modified to point to an external JNDI source provider but what information
    do I need to modify?
    I'd really appreciate if someone can help me out here. Thanks!

    "JP" <[email protected]> wrote in message news:[email protected]..
    Hi,
    I'm looking for someone who has used the Lotus LDAP server for WLP7
    authentication.
    I connect my portal to the Domino LDAP, User and Groups are working
    fine, but the membership of a user to a group is not.
    I assume that it's related to the parameters I use (especially the
    membership.filter ?):
    "user.filter=(&(uid=%u)(objectclass=person));
    user.dn=O=Apac;
    membership.filter=(&(uniquemember=%M)(objectclass=groupOfNames));
    group.filter=(&(cn=%g)(objectclass=groupOfNames));
    server.host=jpgal01.apac.bea.com;
    group.dn="
    Any help would be appreciate, because I just don't where to look for.
    Try setting the com.netscape.ldap.trace property.
    \* When -D command line option is used, defining the property with
    * no value will send the trace output to the standard error. If the
    * value is defined, it is assumed to be the name of an output file.
    * If the file name is prefixed with a '+' character, the file is
    * opened in append mode.
    This will create a ldap trace file of the requests that WLS is making on the
    LDAP server. You can then see
    where the filters are not returning the correct value for the group
    membership.

    Hi Robert,
    Our team is well aware of the problem with WLCS 2.0 and WLS SP3 that shows
    up when using the MyBuyBeans demo.
    We are looking into this problem in engineering and we will post any
    solution(s) once we figure out the offending issue.
    Thanks.

  • Connecting SAP XI to Websphere Commerce server via SOAP

    Hi, I hope you can help...
    I am currently attempting to connect to Websphere Commerce server 6.0.0.6 from SAP XI 3.0 using web services. Websphere Commerce has standard services for loading products that we would like to automate from SAP ECC. I have created the interface using an async/sync bridge in BPM.
    Matmas IDoc (Async) --> ProcessCatalogEntry (Sync Request) --> AcknowledgeCatalogEntry (Sync Response) --> ALEAUD IDoc (Async).
    This is working to an extent and I have a request and response in the message monitor
    However, in the response message I am receiving an authorisation failure as the webservice requires the following in the SOAP header:
      <soapenv:Header>
      <wsse:Security soapenv:mustUnderstand="1"
        xmlns:wsse="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wsswssecurity-secext-1.0.xsd">
          <wsse:UsernameToken>
            <wsse:Username>xxxxxxxx</wsse:Username>
            <wsse:Password Type="http://docs.oasis-open.org/wss/2004/01/oasis-200401-wssusername-token-profile1.0#PasswordText">xxxxxxxx
             </wsse:Password>
           </wsse:UsernameToken>
         </wsse:Security>
       </soapenv:Header>
    From reading several posts I  used the nosoap method to achieve this. I checked the "Do not use SOAP envelope"
    in my receiver SOAP channel. I downloaded the SOAP Envelope XSD and added to it to include my additional header and body elements.
    However, this is not working and I receive the following message in the monitor:
    SOAP: Response message contains an error XIAdapter/HTTP/ADAPTER.HTTP_EXCEPTION - HTTP Internal Server Error
    I also created an XSLT to add the required SOAP header but was unsure how to use this as part of a synchronous process...
    If you can, could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue...
    Many thanks,
    Pete

    Hello Thomas,
    thanks for your answer. We are already on SP19. Starting and stopping is reacting but only with the above mentioned errors.
    I think, that the classnames are OK because with a little Java JMS Testprogramm with the same parameters from the channeldefinition we can connect to the BEA Server. So this should be OK.
    Kind regards

  • Starting Commerce Server and Personalization Server

    I am trying to evaluate these products. I am running NT 4.0, SP5 with
    256MB RAM. I have installed Weblogic Server 5.1.0 with SP 6. I have
    installed the latest version of the Commerce Server and Personalization
    Server. I had to remove the -server switch from the java command line in
    the startup script in order to get the JVM to start. The Commerce server
    begins to initialize, then a bunch of exceptions are thrown, then it
    shuts itself down.
    I have attached the log file
    WeblogicCommerceServer3.2\server\weblogic.log
    Thanks for any help on this.

    The error in your weblogic.log file of:
    2001:<E> <T3Services> COMMERCE_SERVER_FRAMEWORK,LOG_ERROR,"Current WebLogic build may
    not be compatible with the WebLogic Commerce Server implementation. Minimum Build:
    83914 Current Installation Build: 66825"
    Tue Apr 24 16:50:53 EDT
    means that WLCS cannot find the correct service pack files for WLS 5.10. Might check
    to see if the WLS 5.10 SP6 files (weblogic510sp6.jar and weblogic510s6boot.jar) are
    located in d:\weblogic\lib.

  • Is it possible to use commerce server with netscape webserver and weblogic app server

    Hello,
    We want to use Netscape webserver using NSAPI plug-in with WLS 5.1.
    In this scenario can we get full functionality of Weblogic Commerce server
    2.0.1 if we wnat to use above setup.
    This is urgent please.
    surya

    Surya,
    The NSAPI plug-in with WLS 5.1 should not adversely affect the way the
    Commerce Server works. Although this platform is not 'certified', the product
    is J2EE compliant and should work without error.
    Hope this helps!

  • Weblogic commerce server

    Our company use the Weblogic6.0 as application server. I try to download the
    Bea Commerce version to evaluate it. but I got the error message like :
    access denied
    java.security.AccessControlException . etc.

    Double-check the weblogic.policy file in your WLS 5.1 installation directory. My codeBase and
    FilePermission for my WinNT installation looks like this:
    grant codeBase "file:C:/wls/-" {
    permission java.io.FilePermission "C:${/}wls${/}-", "read,write,delete,execute";

  • How many SysAdmins to manage Commerce Server?

    Hallo out there,
    We are still in the development phase of our Commerce Server 2.0 solution and now need to do some planning for operations.
    When in production running WLS Cluster Edition (on 2 Solaris boxes), Commerce Server & Personalization Server, how many system administrators would it take to keep it running (i.e. installation of updates, hotfixes, service packs, log mgmt, cluster configuration, performance/optimizing, etc.)?
    Best guess and experience much appreciated!
    Thanks

  • Cannot start Commerce Server: Urgent

    I am trying to start the Weblogic Commerce Server 3.2 on NT after loading the webloic_classpath

    Any Help?

    weblogic.Server is the WLS 5.1 server that WLCS 3.2 runs on. Your WEBLOGIC_CLASSPATH in your
    set-environment script for WLCS may have an error. Make sure that WEBLOGIC_HOME points to the
    installation directory of your WLS installation.
